I didn't make it to the hotel because I had to cancel my Berlin and Dresden trip because the airline messed up and left my baggage at the previous airport. Unfortunately, the hotel wasn't so understanding of my situation and didn't approved my cancellation and refund request unlike the other hotel where I'm supposed to be staying in Dresden. That's just very inconsiderate and lacks customer empathy.

Situated next to the bus stop and the train station. It takes 20 minutes to get to the centre by bus and 45 minutes to get to the airport by train. The staff is not friendly. The heating in the bathroom did not work. Having complained to the reception, the hotel staff brought a fan to the room! Why? In January. By the way, having arrived at the hotel at 2:00 PM, and the official check-in is after 3:00 PM, the hotel staff said that the room was not ready. “Well”, they prepared it, nothing to say. The breakfast is not tasty, in principle, to be fair, you will not go hungry, but… it is an acquired taste. A separate point is the coffee (attached a photo). “It”, stands on the tables in teapots. It tastes neither like coffee, nor like tea, nor like cocoa.

The hotel is far from Berlin C. You have to take the U-Bahn almost all the way to the Olympic Stadium. The area is nice with nice restaurants and shopping in the area. One receptionist seemed almost offended that we had gotten the stay so cheap. A man with a small moustache, was offended but otherwise all the staff were friendly. There was a small mini fridge in the room for their mini bar The pool costs 6 euros per person per day to use and it is very small. Breakfast at the hotel was a nice buffet where nothing was missing. Pleasant service. Edeka and REWE are close by, along with Rossmann. And you can eat well in the area at the fast food place, where a pizza costs about 10 euros and a doner 8 euros

I don't know if the bathroom is equipped with floor heating. It feels warm when walking barefoot on it. The air conditioner is a bit loud. It is a bit far from the bus station and subway station, which is not very convenient. The advantage is that the surrounding area is relatively quiet. The location is perfect as well as the rooms. Every room has its own wash basin, every bed its own suit for backpack, etc. Beds don't have curtains, but this is not a huge issue. The furniture and the space designed in special way so you don't feel like your personal space is violated. The key cons is showers. There are no available lockers to keep your clothes before you go to the shower 🚿. So you need to leave your staff on the open space.

Location: I think the location is perfect. Not too busy area as it is 8 min walk away from Kurfürstendamm but still central. There are a lot of good restaurants near by and you can just walk 10 min to the Bus stop pf the 100 bus which will take you wherever you want. Service: Great and friendly service. The man at the reception greeted us with a warm smile and the check in was super smooth. We even asked for slippers and got it right away. Perfect. Cleanliness The stone floor had some stains but nothing major or „dirty“ in any way. Room service was really good and in general the hotel was super clean and hygienic, especially in the spa area. Amenities The Sauna and pool were super clean and a great place to relax. The breakfast was a dream from waffles over bread to hot sausages the options were almost endless.

This hotel is LGBT-friendly, although I'm not. But it still surprised me a little bit. The hotel rooms, like other budget hotels in Europe, are relatively small. But it was quite clean and tidy, and it was a bit quiet. I had a really good sleep during those few days. What is not so good is the hotel breakfast. It has basically not been changed in 11 days. It is always the same, which makes people sad.

Das Frühstücksbuffett war mit dem Begrüßungs-Smoothie über die Brot-/Brötchen-Auswahl bis hin zur ,,Eierstation,, d.H. Omelett auf Wunsch sehr gut und vielfältig. Da ARCOTEL eine österreichische Kette ist kommt der Kaffee und die Säfte von Meindl bzw Rauch.Da stimmt die Qualität. Das Haus ist nach unserem Befinden uneingeschränkt empfehlenswert. Wenn es nicht den Zwischenfall mit meiner Doppelbuchung einer no-Storno-Rate gegeben hätte ,die vom Hotel mit keinerlei Kulanz(Gutschein gleich welcher Höhe) abschlägig beschieden worden wäre ,so könnten wir den Aufenthalt als Rundum gelungen bezeichnen.
