|2.75km from city centerVery good Japanese hotel! Very close to Kyoto Station, very suitable for catching the train. The room is tatami, there is a TV refrigerator, very clean, very quiet, very Japanese style. The owner and his wife are also very good and take care of us. You can also take a hot bath underneath, which is very comfortable. Come live next time!

Kyoto Station
Kyoto
|3.38km from city centerIt's quiet and easy to spend because it's one station from Kyoto Station. The location is also near the station, and it's easy to understand that you can reach it in just a few minutes from the station. Parks, aquariums and railway museums are also nearby, so you can play with your children. There is a large communal bath, but personally, the hot water is lukewarm and unsatisfactory. I stayed in a standard twin room, but I was able to spend a relaxing time in a room that was perfectly large even if I spread a large suitcase. There are also 6 coin laundry units, which is appreciated for long-term stays. It seems that a group of school excursion students was staying there, and I was worried that I could hear a slapstick noise at a fairly late time. There is also a convenience store, so it's very convenient, but it was very disturbing because a group of school excursion students was shopping and it was very crowded, and I didn't know how to use the self-checkout and was making a fuss. It was. Isn't it shifting such shopping time or the school side manages it? Apart from that, I was able to spend comfortably without any problems.

|1.5km from city centerWe stayed for 5 nights at Richmond Premier Kyoto Shijo. The hotel has a clean zen-like modern look. Location-wise, it is at the quieter side of Shijo, the east side, which is closer to the Hankyu Karasuma station. It takes less than 10 minutes to walk to Shijo central where Daimaru is- this may or may not appeal to you. Some pros and cons: Pros- Affordable room rates Big rooms Complimentary drinks (not alcoholic) for guests from 1-8pm everyday at the breakfast area. Laundromat with 6 washer-dryer machines Self serve amenities at the elevator at night Helpful hotel staff Cons- Aircon/heater doesn’t balance right between heating and cooling resulting in uncomfortable, dry, cold temperatures at times Walls are a little thinner so a noisy neighbor above or next room can be heard Overall, we had a good stay.

|4.65km from city centerBathroom I only met the staff once upon check in. One common bathroom was be shared by 5 rooms of people. All the rooms seemed to be occupied and that probably had 12-15 guests. I waited up to 20 mins for my turn to shower. I also had to sit at the dining table to show my intention that I am queueing to use the bathroom. I was tired after a long day of sightseeing and it was very unpleasant to wait just to shower. The bathroom was flooded to the dry section on multiple occasions and my hubby had to use his hand to remove the hair from the drain. Room The beds were comfortable enough and the heater kept us warm. There were enough bath towels to go around. I was allocated a triple room with windows which I appreciated. However, the sound pollution from the passing vehicles was bad. Fortunately, my family members were not light - sleepers, so we could still fall asleep despite the vehicle noise. It would be really bad for light-sleepers. On the third night, the white light was left switched on. The light passed through the frosted panel on my door. Location Even though there are two train stations - Fushimi Inari Keihan Station and Inari JR Station . Beware !!! It is not convenient AT ALL. Fushimi Inari Keihan Station which is a little nearer is not connected to Kyoto Station. For JR Pass users, I had to get a separate ticket whenever I want to use this station. For JR Inari Station which is at the door step of Fushimi - Inari Taisha Shrine, it is not a subway type of train. It is a local train that comes by about every 30 minutes. I had to time myself properly to be in time for this train. It is not fast at all and it has wasted a lot of my time. If you are pressed for time, choose another place nearer to a subway station. I paid about S$200 per night for a room for three. I feel that it is not value for money.

|1.32km from city centerI stayed here for the weekend during the peak of autumn leaves time - when other hotel prices in Kyoto Karasuma area were much higher and beyond my budget. The hotel met my request for a quiet room away from the elevator, and a window that opened. I appreciated the effort they took - thank you. (Note- I think most rooms don't have a window that opens). The bed was comfortable. Not much of a view (on 7th floor) - but ok. Breakfast - the staff were lovely. I love a Japanese style breakfast - but this buffet was a bit ”ordinary” compared to other hotels I have stayed at. Would I stay again? Maybe - nothing really wrong with the property, there are others I prefer and would stay at if prices were about the same.

Gion/Kiyomizu Temple
Kyoto
|1.85km from city centerIt is not recommended for guests with more luggage or large boxes: First, because the homestay is located in the scenic area of two years and three years, tourists are like weaving during the day, and taxis can't get in at all. You need to drag your suitcase and walk a long uphill and downhill stone road and steps to find a place to live; Second, it is because it is difficult to call the car after checking out. You need to drag your suitcase through the woven stone street to the main road far away to take a taxi... Of course, for guests who have no luggage or less luggage, you may wish to experience the feeling of an old room for one night.

|2.69km from city centerIt was my first time using it. I walked from the station. It was hard to find the place, so I found it by the sign of the cafe next door. I was asked to store my luggage before check-in. There is also a large public bath and the breakfast is hearty and delicious ❤️ Breakfast coffee is recommended. The room is also compact, but I felt the ingenuity in the details. There is only a shower booth, but the shower head is large and easy to use. Wind of dryer was strong, too and dried immediately. The receptionist was also kind and had a nice smile. In addition, we want to use. I found a cafe attached to Kiyomizu Temple.

Kyoto
|4.15km from city centerIt arrived around 21 o'clock with a plan that can be in from 18:00, and it was in a state that it was not connected unless it called a lot by the phone to the front desk. When I finally thought I was connected, it took a while to confirm the reservation and the waiting time at the entrance was long, so check-in was not smooth. It was the beginning of the year, so I might have been busy, but I wanted you to improve a little more.
The room is neither good nor bad. The bath was a bit small for two people to enter. It is reasonable for the price. The ventilation in the bathroom was not stopped, and it was cold, so I got my throat hurt because the air conditioner was fully operational. I thought it would be nice to have a humidifier.
I think it's a great deal if you use it for a short time, so I think I'll use free time next time ...

The roll curtain and bed cover in the room are different for each room, so I look forward to what room it will be every time. Amenities are in the lobby so it is a style to bring what you need. There is no bathtub and only shower. The coffee in the lobby is free at your favorite timing. I can read manga freely, so I was able to spend a leisurely time reading cartoons and working remotely in the lobby.

Kyoto Station
Kyoto
|3.39km from city centerYou can go from Kyoto Station by 1 station and take a taxi within 1000 yen. When going to the guest room area from the front desk, there is an automatic door, and it will not open unless you hold the room key, so security is also solid. The elevator is also large. The room was well cleaned, very clean and the room was large and comfortable. The bath was large, and it was not a hotel faucet that was difficult to use, but an ordinary type of easy-to-use faucet. The separate place from the toilet was also good. It was good that the amenities were substantial and there was a bath salt. Free PET bottle water, drip coffee, tea packs are also available. Since it is a new hotel, the facilities are easy to use and there are many outlets, so it was convenient. You can also watch YouTube and Netflix on TV. General hotel rooms have many dim orange lighting, but the main lighting of this hotel is white, so it was good. It was comfortable because I couldn't hear the noise in the next room, the upper floors and the corridor. You can rest assured that the large communal bath has a security card dedicated to women only. There were many kinds of breakfast buffets and it was very delicious. When I checked out, I was asked, ”Did you have any inconvenience in your room?”, but nothing was wrong. I heard about the inconvenience and thought it was to respond quickly. You can leave your baggage for free after check-out, so you can go sightseeing empty-handed. The only inconvenience I felt was ... If you are in a room near the JR track, it is far from the elevator to the room. It was difficult to walk with a heavy suitcase because it was quite fluffy floor material, probably because it was to improve the soundproofing of the corridor. Even if I walked normally, I felt tired feet walking on the sandy beach. It may be unavoidable due to the structure of the building, but it was a pity that I could hardly see the Kyoto Tower from the rooftop, but I could see the trains and Shinkansen, and the mountains 々 in the distance. Tables, chairs and benches are installed, so I think you can spend a pleasant time in spring and autumn when the climate is good. It was a very good hotel, so I would like to use it again.

Kyoto Station
Kyoto
|2.23km from city centerWe chose this ryokan because of the affordable price and location. When we arrived, our bags had been placed in our room (we'd sent them from our previous hotel via the takkyubin service), which was a nice touch. The room felt very small for the two of us. There was basically just enough floor space for our two futons laid out right next to each other. However, there is a large closet where they normally store the futons that we were able to use to store our luggage and other items when we rolled out the futons. The futons were very thin; I felt like I was pretty much just sleeping on the floor and it was rather uncomfortable. We got one of the private rooms so we would have our own bathroom but again, the bathroom was very small. Of course, we didn't spend a ton of time in the room anyway as we were out and about most of the time so the small space was not a dramatic downside. The neighborhood was quiet, which we liked, and the staff were very friendly. We had the western-style breakfast a couple mornings and it was quite good! All in all, it is an affordable stay in Kyoto, but I can't say that it is the most comfortable option. I would also warn that if you are looking specifically for a great ryokan experience and not just for a place to crash, this might not be the type of place you're looking for.

Kawaramachi
Kyoto
|1.17km from city centerIt is located at the entrance of Buddhist temple street for about 4 minutes walk from Shijo Kawaramachi. In the cheap version of the Washington Hotel, there is no public bathhouse that cuts the service to the edge and is popular in business hotels. The room size, facilities, etc. are standard for business hotels. Bedding, toothbrushes and razors are received at the front desk. However, the quality of razors was bad and the skin was cut. It is a pity that the lighting in the room is white fluorescent color and it is cold 々 impression. This wants to improve. Check out only puts the card into the machine. Not long after the opening, the building is beautiful overall. However, I think the hair remains on the bus and the cleaning is one now. Breakfast with free is a minimum set of several kinds of warm bread and cup soup, coffee and juice. Coffee had a cup service that could be drunk in the room. The price setting of 6000 yen is a major business hotel with a price of close to 20000 yen in business, and this location, this fee, and this facility can be said to be the best level without complaint. It is recommended because the net reservation of the company becomes the cheapest.

|2.09km from city centerTwo people lived in a whole Japanese-style villa ~ The room was very clean and beautiful. There were bungalows and tatami style rooms. The bathroom also had a super-class automatic bathtub. There was a comment on Expedia that the general hotel photos look better than the room, but here is the opposite. I agree too much that the actual room is much better than the photo ~, but pay attention to the checkin time to make an appointment with the store, that is, the store will send an email after placing the order. The young lady who came to pick us up checkin was very cute. It was a Chinese lady who was very good in Japanese and English. ~ It felt so good. If you missed it because there was no evaluation, it would be a pity 😆.

|1.1km from city centerWhat needs to be improved:
1. The check-in address of the house and the address of the house are not the same place, and they are far apart; for tourists who do not understand Japanese, many problems are added. When we arrived that night, we couldn't find where to check in, which caused a lot of time delay;
2. We have made an appointment for the garbage cleaning service, but we went around and came back and found that the garbage was still piled up at home, and the service was bad;
3. About the facilities: The toilet and bathroom do not have heating facilities. I contacted for a long time and brought a heating facility. Shouldn't the room facilities be checked from time to time?
4. The overall feeling is very general. Friends who are more concerned about the above issues can consider carefully.

|7.86km from city centerIf you tell the parking lot in advance, you will guide you to the moon pole parking lot a little on foot. The receptionist was very good and I was happy to talk carefully. Originally, because of the condominium, the stairs and corridors were renovated in the old ones and were very beautiful and fashionable. I was saved by drinking free water and coffee in PET bottles. The only thing I thought was the accumulation of dust in the ventilation filter in the dressing room. It was very dirty. I think it has not been cleaned up so far. The other parts were very beautiful! I was able to spend comfortably.
I rented a bicycle to Arashiyama, but it was very helpful because it was free within 2 hours! After that, I asked about the parking lot by chat at the time of the reservation, but I was unread and eventually called myself. I think the meaning of chat? I was able to make a reservation cheaply while I thought it was not used, and it was really good to be able to spend comfortably.

|0.74km from city centerEarlier this month, I stayed at Gion Misen and loved the experience. There are many new hotels in the city but Gion Misen stands out and exceeded expectations. The location is superb, on quiet and historic Shimnomzen Street, nestled among beautifully preserved wooden machiya townhouses, antique shops, galleries, and small restaurants. The staff is kind and helpful. The included breakfast was ample and delicious, including good coffee! The beautifully designed, contemporary Japanese rooms have comfortable beds, plenty of electrical outlets and good lighting. Gion Misen is ideally situated for excursions to the beautiful surrounding neighborhoods and the heart of downtown Kyoto on foot and by short taxi rides to all corners of this magnificent city. Thank you for making me feel so welcome.

The hotel serves breakfast and dinner. The menu is customized according to seasonal seasons. It is very exquisite. It integrates the food culture of Wuhu and Jinjiang with the French style. |1.71km from city center”Sequence KYOTO GOJO” is a convenient location within 3 minutes walk from Gojo Station and walking distance to Kawaramachi. The hotel was stylish and fashionable, and the rooms were arranged in monotony. 2 The variety of large baths was able to enjoy and refresh both daily. The rock bath and steam sauna were comfortable and the non-life was tasted with a comfortable BGM. It is good to check in at 17 o'clock but out at 14 o'clock, and you can enjoy hotel life without worrying about time. In the restaurant ”THE TASTE” on the 1 floor, guests can eat free until 7:00 ~ 14:00 (L.O. 13:30). It was available for breakfast and lunch and was good value for money. Four kinds of sandwiches, salads, soft creams, made from Miyama milk, and homemade lemonade are ordered with QR code in the seat. I liked the sandwich, soft cream and lemonade. Half buffet has few types, but none of them were very delicious, such as drink soup cake fruit. It was very good, so I would like to stay with breakfast next time.
