In a hurry, there is no breakfast, the hotel is well maintained and the equipment is relatively new.  There are shopping centers and restaurants nearby, including the B&Q building materials store we like to watch.

Expected renovated, small hotel rooms. Got one of those and the other one was a hell hole in the basement. If you go here, and expect a normal hotel room, make reservation for the ”King” room. If you reserve s ”Double”, do not accept a tiny room from the basement! It smelled like mould, and there`s no window to have fresh air. Only way to have ”fresh” air is trough the paper-thin door, from the small, common kitchen/cleaning room just behind the door. Someone cooked there in the midnight, slamming the next door. The room was poorly cleaned (washroom was all wet, trashbin was full, there was a spider net and candy paper...). Plumbing kept terrible noise (also in the kitchen and in the next room). Light in the washroom didn`t turn of, instead it kept blinking. The king room upstears was good, though someone smoked weed in the next room. Nice, newly renovated place but poorly maintained!

This was great for what we needed and required. Good location for the Valentines parkrun, not far from the Olympic Park. The only issue was the noice. We had very noisy neighbours who woke us up a lot during the night. The neighbours above were banging so loudly we thought they might fall through the ceiling. We were woken by some very selfish people who were stomping and shouting on the stairs about 3am. Should be more rules about noise and enforced. Apartment was clean, had a good kitchen and bathroom.

Generally great... location is good, shops right at your door step, room was an attic room, don’t really like that but was large clean and tidy, bed was a single and clean, toilet was clean and has a window. Only let down was the fact that when I checked it they said no breakfast when I specifically choose the package with breakfast, so ended up going to the Tesco 30seconds away to buy breakfast the night before. But would book and stay again.

rooms were clean, we booked a family with two kids, two double bed room and it was spacious, for American standard. Neighborhood is what it is, the hotel is a converted row houses in sequence that used to be residential neighborhood. Breakfast was decent, and included. don't expect additional amenities. it's a Best Western, at East London, so tune your expectations accordingly.

Got what i expected once again in this Travelodge. A good size room with that was very well cleaned. Updates still needed as some things look pretty worn out. Marius at the reception was friendly and helpful as usual and helped me to plan my trip to center London. I was also given extra towels and even if the breakfast box is not the most convenient, it was nice and cold so it came handy. Good stay and will repeat in the future.

The apartment/en-suite & balcony was super clean and really big, perfect hanging space for all my clothes. In addition to the tea/coffee in my room the kitchen had plenty supply of food for all guests too! Will definitely be booking again in June :)

When we arrived we were greeted with smiles and warmness after I introduced myself, the lovely gentlemen Stephen at front desk professionally handled the check in process. Room This was the best room in the hotel as far as I was concerned as it had a skylight towards the road and a window facing the rear so you could have both windows open and get a nice breeze through the room. Room and bathroom was very clean, hot water from the tub, nice and warm in the room. WI-FI The connection was perfect and very strong. Breakfast Full English (with a twist but more on that later). Cereals and toast (single 4 slot toaster) orange juice as well as tea and coffee (boil your own kettle though) The toast was fine. After having some toast decided that we would try the full English. Eggs, turkey rushes, hash browns, beans, sausages and mushrooms were available in a buffet area. Leaving We asked about late check out and the hotel did an extra hour for free as complimentary. Staff The staff were really helpful and accommodating and staying the extra time was no problem at all. Overall a really great little place to stay for visiting the sights of London without costing the earth. Really convenient for the Ilford TFL station and the local shops. Would definitely recommend

Exceeded Expectations, Clean, Buffet breakfast included. Staff were pleasant. Well worth the money. Free parking, 20 pound deposit which was given back at checkout. 24 hour reception and check in at any time. Only downside was that the room was very cold on arrival, staff did help me with turning on the old school radiator.

We travel to London quite a lot and this was our first stay in the premier inn Ilford and the staff where extremely polite and couldn’t do enough for us. The room was spotless as are most premier inns are but we did encounter a bit of noise from the room next to us on the first night which was a pain but unfortunately the bed wasn’t very comfortable at all over our stay however the staff again where informed about our problems in which they apologised. The car park was ok and quite well priced to at 6 pounds for 24 hours as our usual premier inn charges 8 pounds for the same and we stayed after the check out time in which the staff Again where extremely helpful again and gave us the extra time for free.

We stayed at the Hampton by Hilton for the Scottish Oct week. It was very clean, I was apprehensive of how hotels were during Covid-19 and had read a lot of reviews for where to stay in Blackpool based on since when COVID-19 started and the Hampton by Hilton got some of the best reviews and it far surpassed my expectations. From check in the place was very clean, all staff were wearing masks, they explained that daily cleaning service had been suspended but if you wanted your room cleaned that day you just needed to say, or if you needed new towels or toilet roll they could give it to you at reception, which is great as it limits human interaction. Dinner: we ended up eating dinner there three of the four nights as I found a lot of places were crowded whilst they had us well spread out and ensured ppl had masks on whilst moving around. The food was nice if a small menu, the staff were great very friendly and helpful. Room: we stayed in room 304 and it is at the back of the hotel partially overlooking the carpark and partial sea view, it was two king sized beds which were really comfortable and we slept well, it had lots of charging points which in this day of electronics was great. I think it could benefit from a wee shelf on the side nearest the window as there was a table on my side and on the other side of the other bed. It has a heating and cooling system and a good shower but doesn’t have a hairdryer in the room so remember to take your own. Breakfast: was well organised and really tasty. There was a great selection of both hot and cold items, coffee and tea there was even chocolate or strawberry milk for the children. The staff were very vigilant and challenged a couple of lads who had come down to breakfast without masks or lanyards to say they didn’t need to for medical reasons, they came back down with masks. Location: the tram station is across the road but it is easily walkable to get to both the south and central pier, pleasurebeach is about a five minute walk whilst the south pier is maybe about ten minutes depending on if the wind is hitting you. There is also lots of hand gel located throughout the hotel which was good. Overall if I was coming back to Blackpool I’d definitely recommend/stay at this hotel again, the staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were immaculate and well thought out, it was a good location and breakfast was tasty. Thank you for making our family stay enjoyable, my daughter had never been to Blackpool and I hadn’t been since I was three which wasn’t yesterday!

I booked online to stay at the Las Palmas hotel for 3 nights. I then received a phone call about an hour later informing me they had to close the hotel for ‘technical issues’ however they would put us in their sister hotel The Royal Windsor instead which was like for like. When we arrived to the location it was nothing like the pictures I had seen for Las Palmas and certainly was nothing ‘Royal’ about it. We checked in and found out there was an additional £10 per night for the dog and an additional £5 a night for car parking. I had seen online about paying extra for pets however not for parking. Anyway I paid this and the full amount for the room for 3 nights. We did not get to park our car in the car park that night as it was full so we had to park elsewhere even though we had paid. Our hotel room was tiny. The lights were flickering and everywhere smelt of cigarettes and smoking from the rooms.Myself and my husband hardly slept a wink due to the amount of noise from downstairs ‘entertainment’ and the noise, arguing, shouting, banging etc from guests. Again we wasn’t informed of entertainment in the hotel when we was changed over. The next day I spoke to a lady on reception and complained and explained we wanted to leave and didn’t want to stay there. Miraculously Las Palmas hotel was then avaible and they would move us over to there as they didn’t have many guests or any entertainment etc so would be a lot quieter and more suited to us. We arrived, the lady on reception was absolutely lovely and even let me choose between 2 rooms. The hotel itself was a lot nicer, the room was a bit bigger so we were happy. However the noise again kept us up until gone 2am. I went and spoke to the same lady on the desk in the morning and said we where leaving to go home and not staying for our third night as we were knackered and I am 3 months pregnant so I need to rest and sleep. Again she was lovely and very uunderstandable and gave me the telephone number to speak with the manager. I later phoned and spoke with the manager who was VERY rude and questioned everything I said and said I should of done something about it at 2am in the morning. I explained I didn’t fancy going downstairs at 2am in my Pj’s etc but I did take recordings of the noise which I would happily email across. I said I Would at least like my money back for the car park that we had not used the first night and for the third night I had paid for staying but we was not then using... he consistently said this isn’t something they do. Refund. I asked why we had been moved to the royal Windsor in the first place after booking online and he couldn’t give me an answer for this also. The ‘manager’ then hung up the phone on me twice. Not very professional. I asked to speak to someone higher or who owned the hotel in order to sort this but the ‘manager’ would not give me any details or tell me anyone I could speak with in regards to this as he is the one who deals with everything and he doesn’t give

This is a tremendous place to stay if you want to enjoy Blackpool. Number One is located on South Beach close to where the illuminations start. This means being an easy walk from the tram stop that gives easy access to the whole of Blackpool (for a £5 a day hop on hop off ticket). The trams run back until around midnight. A taxi to the Tower is about £7.50 if you prefer. And if you want to walk this is just as easy and completely free... There are dedicated parking spaces and plenty of on road free spaces that are free and safe. Number one has a tremendous welcome - the two girls that greet you, escort you personally to your room to go through the facilities and look after you at the well stocked bar are friendly, happy and helpful. The help, generosity and welcome is extended by Mark who was able to provide first class recommendations for restaurants and shows (we took up the recommendation to see Kinky Boots which was exceptional) and he was kind enough to provide a discount code for the Winter Garden. What strikes you when visiting is the quality of the decor, fixtures and furniture throughout Number One. The owners take great pride in their property and it shows. It’s modern, funky, clean and bright. The rooms are all well appointed, clean and well maintained. We had number 12 on the third floor. This is serviced by a lift or staircase. The sea view is good and the room boasts tv, whirlpool bath, shower, remotes for lighting, small balcony, seating area and comfy bed. The box of nick nacks that could be little essentials in the wardrobe is a super touch. The bar area is a generous social area and the range of drinks wide and various. Service is until 11:00pm after which time and honesty bar works if you want a night cap or longer chatting. Breakfast selections are made the evening before to save wastefulness and works really well. It’s a wide menu along with a buffet for fruit, cereals etc. The quality of what Mark cooks is exceptional. The fresh orange is a must. It can be cold in Blackpool but Number 1 can be really hot... Number 1 is a credit to the owners and staff. An award winner. And one of our favourites from our travels - no mean feat.

Stayed for 1 night before the Rebellion Festival in town and wished i'd have booked for all 5 nights. A nice welcome by the friendly Reg and the owner Louise. They recommended a local bar for a decent pint of ale(The Brew Room). A nice comfortable bed made for a good nights sleep, i enjoyed the breakfast, Reg had made a special effort to make sure i had decaf coffee with breakfast which was much appreciated. I will probably be attending the festival again in 2 years time and would not hesitate to book here again.

I stayed here and you certainly get what you pay for. Room was basic but clean and all you needed to rest your head for a night. I unfortunately left my headphones at the hotel and was distraught when I found out as I live 3 hours away, however the manager was more than accommodating and sent them back via an envelope I sent them and I could not be more thankful. It may not seem like a lot, but my headphones are needed for my everyday so when they arrived back safely I was overjoyed. Nothing is too much for the manager, really nice and would recommend staying again! Thank you so so much.

My partner and I made a last minute decision to stay in and booked the Ruskin Hotel and we are so glad we did. We were both overwhelmed with how lovely the staff were and could not be happier with our stay. I am not usually one to write reviews but I just cannot believe the level of service at the Ruskin and want more people to know about the Ruskin so they can enjoy it like we did! Within our first day we felt part of a community and we really were so well looked after. We went all inclusive and I wouldn’t do it any other way when we go back. You get breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as soft drinks, hot drinks and selected alcoholic drinks. The food was incredible which given the price we was really surprised about. Although the alcoholic drinks are only certain drinks it covers your regular spirits, red/white/rose and an in-house larger that my partner said was really nice so you won’t go without. The room we stayed in was the king premier room and it was ideal for our 4 night stay. Modern, very spacious, comfortable and clean. There was also nightly entertainment. Singing, bingo, and even an in-house comedian who was brilliant! Despite all the staff being amazing we would like to give a special mention to Lesley and Gary in the bar to the right of reception And Enzo, the catering Manager. Lesley, was the most welcoming, kind natured woman I have ever had the pleasure of meeting whilst in a hospitality capacity. Lesley was always making sure we had food and drink flowing as well as showing a genuine interest to my partner and I. Gary, was very much the same. Extremely welcoming and attentive. We later found out from another staff member that Gary was the director of the hotel which really shocked us given how hands on and helpful he is. That is not to say that hotel directors aren’t usually lovely people, but you don’t usually see them so involved and so interested in their residents. And finally the lovely Enzo, from the moment we had our first meal Enzo was attentive and regularly checking in to make sure we were happy with the food and the service. Really lovely man who works very hard to ensure all guests are happy with their dining experience. Would highly recommend to all age groups! My partner and I are mid twenties but there were guests ranging from children to 80’s and all were equally enjoying themselves.
