Believe me it was bliss for me that travel became very limited during this pandemic. People are, like, away. Away. So I was fished out of my comfort zone by my husband who wanted to leave our current city -- a city that worships face shields, as if face masks weren't enough to choke us in this heat. We initially booked our flights to Bohol, hotels included. But thanks to the national government's ever-expanding classification of quarantines, we had to cancel that trip. We wanted to still celebrate a week-long birthday out of town so we planned on driving to cities with little or no quarantine restrictions. First stop: Angeles City in Pampanga. Pampanga is a province not in included in the NCR bubble in May 2021. So we didn't need to get tested or quarantined when we got there. We didn't realize looking for a pet-friendly hotel would be so difficult. We found a couple, but landed in Capitol Hill Hotel and Suites. The hotel isn't really inside Clarkfield. One enters the zone from NLEX and exits one of the side gates. You'll pass through what seems to be the former red light district of the old US Military (?) zone, and you'll find Capitol Hill build just outside the residential areas alongside some of the old and new hotels. This one looks new. Squeaky clean. They have ample parking spaces in front and beside the hotel building. With a crate, a couple of bags, and 4 small dogs, were pleased to be led to a room in the second floor. We still had to take several elevator trips to and from the car. I lost count on how many times the doorman held the door for us. The two ladies at the Reception were all smiles all the time. We were handed only one key card. But in all hotels that I've stayed in, I've always made it a rule to get two key cards, in case I leave the other one in the room. The room's about 50 square meters, with a king size bed, TV, and toiletries, a huge window that overlooks where we parked the car, and a see-through bathroom with a tub. Water pressure in the sink and shower were strong. And again, squeaky clean. The toilet flushes well. The entire building has wi-fi. We were provided with enough towels. The closet had two robes, two pairs of slippers, and a safety deposit box. Venture to the rooftop and you'll find the infinity pool, bar, and restaurant. The food is pricey if you're on a budget, but they serve them fast and with utmost concern about your taste. You don't have to take the towels from your room if you want to use the pool; they provide towels for that. I recommend you have dinner at the rooftop by yourself or with a date. The evening view of Clarkfield and the Clark Airport is spectacular. One floor below the rooftop is a small gym with a treadmill, peloton, and a few weights. The next morning, I had to stay in the room to prepare our stuff for our next lap in our tour. The phone rang asking us if we wanted our breakfast in the room or the restaurant at the rooftop. It was 9:30AM already; we said we'd be havi

The location is accessible to main road, bars, yet the place is quiet and safe. We got the two-bedroom suite and the rooms are big complete living room, kitchen with so pots and pans and bar counter. The beds are comfortable and the bathroom is spacious and clean. There is no elevator though and we were at the third floor. Not so senior or PWD friendly. Upon entering the room, it smelled like food but after turning the AC on, the smell subsided eventually. The place is good for more than a week stay. It’s like living in an apartment or condo already. The staff are friendly and there is a small but clean swimming pool. There’s also a mini marketplace where you can buy cup noodles, drinks, snacks and toiletries. The place is quite new so everything looks clean. All in all, we will definitely return and recommend this to our friends.

Had booked 3 nights via Agoda for €39. I received room# 107. This is a room with double bed, led cable TV, safe, ac, WiFi, balcony. And breakfast every morning, either in front or in your room. What I didn't like was: location ac, hangs just above bed. No refrigerator in the room & the many insects in the room. (musks, mugs, etc.) Whatever wake me night, were the other guests who throw with doors and make noise at the corridor. The staff is friendly and friendly. Location is less, between Main gate & Friendship.

If you are looking for the Hotel Marquis, unfortunately COVID killed them, as it did many places. The new owners have spent some money, but the atmosphere is gone. The friendly, great service is not there. The family like atmosphere is not there. The food is ok, though more expensive, they have more choices. I was disappointed to not be able to see my friends, so I am sure that colors my review. I moved to the Clarkton.

No dental hygiene kit provided compared to other branches of red planet. Pillow is too soft, I had neck pain waking up in the morning. Towels had a strong smell of bleaching solution 🤢. The water from the sink faucet has a weak flow. Staffs especially in the front desk are very professional and informative. Very pretty also.

Savannah Resort Hotel is conveniently located is some interesting places in Angeles. SM Clark, the Walking Street and the Korean Town are just a ride away from the hotel. We stayed here for five nights and so far every night sleep is a wonderful experience for me. Rooms have quality beds with good comforters to warm the night. I love their complimentary soaps, my skin is well moisturized when I use them. They also give away a Bubble Bath, for you to also enjoy the bath tub. My favorite part of the room is the shower. I love the four-type shower with a perfectly working heating system. Food served for the entire duration of the activity are superb. Most of the time, i do not have left overs in my plate. Of course, Pampanga is the culinary capital of the country, that might be the reason why. The have a good wifi signal but can only accommodate a number of guests.

On the plus side, a good breakfast was included, the room was large and the cable TV had a good range of channels. On the downside: the toilet flushed continuously day and night. The power points were different to what I was used to in Manila and when I asked staff if they could assist with adaptors, they could not. No coat hangers in the closet. The safe was broken and looked like it had not been in use for a long time. The aircon kept switching itself off all night until I finally figured out the remote buttons in the middle of the night. There is a jug for boiling water, but no cups. Whenever I asked staff for assistance they were generally disinterested. This place needs a renovation!

Amazing! Best place I stayed in the two months I was in the Philippines. I wouldn't think of staying anywhere else in Angeles. Rooms and bed are nice, clean, and comfortable. It is a newer place and looks just like the pictures. The bed even has a fluffy comforter. Staff is great and friendly. It is in the middle of a quiet neighborhood about a 10 minute walk from walking street. Rooms are dark and you don't have to worry about being woken up by the sun, roosters, traffic, or loud guests. Shower has hot water, there is a fridge in the room, and a rustic wooden bench. There is also an outdoor patio area, making it comfortable to just hang out at the hotel if you want, be it inside or out. This was a tremendous value as well, and one of the least expensive rooms I stayed in, and still the best. Definitely felt homier, so great for longer stays. Most of the places in angeles are older, dingier, and a lot more ezpensive. Sorry I forgot to take photos, but they would have looked just like the rest. For some, the bathroom could be bigger or updated, but it was fine for me, especiallly since the place was so great overall. I loved it here.

Stayed in Clark for one night. The location of the hotel is great. It is very close to SM and Bar Street on foot. There is a big supermarket downstairs from the hotel. The breakfast is also pretty good, you can choose your own set meal, there are more than ten kinds. The young lady at the front desk is also very nice. I enjoyed my stay at Pacific Breeze Hotel and would recommended this hotel to other travellers looking for medium priced accommodation. It is situated extremely close to the popular Walking Street where there are numerous bars and clubs. It’s close to restaurants and sports bars and if that’s what you are in Angeles for then you could not be closer. You are also a short walk to the massive SM City Clark Mall, which provides much entertainment and shopping opportunities for the locals and is certainly worth a visit or two. You can also catch the shuttle bus to Manila from the mall, which is very handy. I made use of the hotel gym every day, which is on the roof of the annexed building. It’s a pretty good gym with enough equipment to keep you busy for an hour. It was mostly quiet in there and the kit is in good shape considering the price bracket of the hotel. I also swam daily in the hotel pool and this is a good size and was cleaned each morning. Great restaurant with healthy sized portions, efficient service and reasonably priced food all served by the lovely pool. There are security guards on each block and they not only did a good job looking after the rooms but it was a pleasure to have a little chat with them each day, discuss what’s happening, get travel advice and shoot the breeze. When you leave the hotel you need to hand in your key. Shoot the breeze in Pacific Breeze Hotel! All round the staff were pretty friendly which is very much expected in a country known for its friendliness. The girls on the reception desk were very professional and handled all my inquiries effectively. The one feature that ought to be pointed out is the fact that many rooms do not have a window that faces outside. So my room for instance did have a window but it looks out into the corridor of the ground floor. Now this is odd really and in the future should I ever head back to Angeles City I would happily stay at this hotel again but would request a window facing the outside. I need sunlight, a view, a peek at the weather and having the curtain always drawn felt odd. But all round this is a great hotel. It has a certain energy and character about it that I suppose may be brought about by its location to walking street. One cannot ignore the fact that many guests may be in that area to enjoy the delights of Walking Street and all it has to offer. This does not put me off but adds to the entertainment and character of this hotel. I will stay again if I ever find myself back in the city.

The front desk staff are all pleasant and the food at the restaurant next door is very reasonable. A small issue with my reservation as far as staying longer, but it was not a problem with me as I had another option. For a long time I had heard about Score Birds but I was loyal to another hotel during my frequent visits to this city. This most recent trip that hotel had no available rooms and so I booked at Score Birds. From the moment I arrived I wore a smile on my face. Wonderful front desk staff, super friendly door and bell staff. Very pleasant surroundings and though my room didn't have a window (unavailable at time of booking) I was completely happy with it. Great channel lineup on the TV and despite being only about 75 meters from Walking Street my room was quiet. Nice restaurant on the property, beautiful pool. The absolute BEST thing was the staff. I travel to the U.S. for work as a healthcare provider in the O.R. and spend over 200 nights a year in hotel rooms. I also travel extensively in Asia when not in the U.S. A hotel can be all swank and polish, but if the staff doesn't shine the hotel doesn't shine. Score Birds has a staff that shines. Bright and shiny. I've already booked for another week in June and managed to get an upgraded room. Rooms here are in demand, so book early. Laundry service and airport transfer are available at the hotel. This is now my very most favorite place in Angeles City. It's the staff that make it that way. They are professional, courteous, friendly, politie and right on top of thing. I asked for some extra towels and a couple of extra pillows to prop a sore knee up on. I barely made it back to my room before they were being delivered! No charge either. Unlike a lot of other hotels that charge you ”daily rent” for that extra towel or pillow. I can't shout out enough kudos for this hotel. They (the staff) are doing a fantastic job and this is where I plan to lay my head any time I am in Angeles City from now on.

My experience at the Queens hotel had a very rocky start. #1. When I had checked in, I was given a room where the room wasn't made yet. No towels and no bedding. Called the front desk and they sent housekeeping to fix the problem but it's still an inconvenient 45 minute wait to shower. #2. The mattress was hard and lumpy. Maybe got 30 minutes of sleep the whole night. In the morning, I asked the front desk if any other room was available and if I could switch? They informed me no other rooms available but they will provide a foam mattress for me. Fortunately, this solved the problem and I was able to sleep the rest of the stay. Kudos to the front desk staff for their outstanding customer service to keep me there because I was already looking online for other hotels in the area to switch to. Location is great. Pool is relaxing. Highly recommend getting the balcony rooms to lounge in, but bring your noise canceling headphone because noise from the street and pool area could be distracting. Heard great things about the restaurant but I only had breakfast there -- wasn't very impressed with their limited menu. Not the friendliest staff in the restaurant either. I also wanted to substitute rice for hash brown but was told it would cost an additional 100 peso. Wow? Really? Just for rice? For breakfast, walk over to Phillies or Envy. Customer service and menu is much better. Overall, good hotel. Reason why I don't give them a 5* is the rough start upon check-in and restaurant. .

Thank you for making my stay at Surestay Clarview a memorable one. I enjoyed your hospitality and your delicious Kare-kare. The room was spacious, clean and well-lit. The wifi was fast and reliable, which was important for my online meetings. I appreciated the polite and helpful staff at the hotel. Shout out to Jen and Gilbert. However, there were some areas that could be improved. For example, some of the employees were too loud while on duty, which disturbed my peace and quiet. Also, the service at the restaurant was kinda slow and I had to call someone twice to get their attention. Finally, I had a hard time reaching the reception by phone when I needed some bath soap. I had to go down to the lobby and found two personnel who said they didn't receive any call. Overall, I still had a lovely stay at your hotel and I would recommend it to others. As a former hotelier, I know how hard it is to run a hotel and I appreciate your efforts. I hope you will take my feedback as constructive criticism and work on improving your service. See you soon!

Quaint little hotel resort in Clark city, a few km away from the airport. First time we stayed here, as you can tell by the name Hanin Town, it’s own and operated by Koreans, which is nice since they include a bunch of Korean dishes at their restaurant and bar. They provide shuttle service to different places in Pampanga, like SM Clark, Walking Street and other restaurants or places of interest. There’s also a small restaurant cafe in the middle where the pools are, we usually had some coffee or a drink in the morning or evening after returning to hotel. The front desk employees and workers are all very friendly and helpful. Especially Ruby and their shuttle driver, which we forgot his name…but he was also quite helpful and friendly. We also had breakfast once or twice there it was 500php I believe, it’s a cute location upstairs on the 3rd or 4th floor, sky lounge, overlooking the hotel and area. The room was spacious, we stayed on the first floor, there was no microwave in our room but a small fridge, safe, and coffee pot, but all the rooms have wifi & A/C and hot water which is all we need on vacation. There’s no shower curtain or door to shower, but there’s a bidet and hair dryer. The water pressure is extremely strong which was a nice surprise for me and my wife. We had a nice stay here overall, so if you’re looking for a place, that’s clean and has friendly helpful staff and not located in a crowded or crazy part of town, try Hanin Town. Also, to the Grab drivers be for warned, some of the tricycle drivers in the front of the road might be grouchy sometimes. Perhaps business competition???

I stayed here for 22 nights with my partner and overall, it was a good experience. We stayed in a deluxe king room on the bottom floor. Pros: -comfortable bed -good shower with many shower heads and hand held hose -good location in Balibago close to many good restaurants and karaoke bars -staff are friendly and attentive, special shout out to Cherry for helping me organize flowers on Valentine's Day -easily accessible by car and free parking -the rate is quite cheap, will be hard to find a better hotel for this price in the area -the WiFi was consistently reliable with fast speeds throughout my stay Cons: -despite daily housekeeping, the floor of the room is always dirty, you cannot walk barefoot in the room or your feet will be black with dirt. needs to be mopped with stronger chemicals -the shower needs a deep and thorough clean with stronger chemicals also. housekeeping staff are mopping the floor, but white and black mould accumulate very quickly which poses a health risk. it seems like they're just cleaning the bathroom with basic chemicals or water only -would be much better if the TV was a smart TV so that guests can enjoy Netflix etc, however they did have cable TV -quite often, our access card stopped working every 2-3 days which is inconvenient as we have to go to reception constantly to get it fixed. also, there are 2 of us but they refused to give us 2 room keys. If the small issue with cleanliness of the floors/shower is resolved and this hotel had a smart TV, it would truly transform the hotel to a 5 star experience. Overall, I would stay here again.

It is a good hotel located one road behind perimeter street. Pros 1) Walking distance to mini market, jipney station, wet market and food stalls. 2) The entertainment centre is within walking distance. 3) The front desk personnel are very friendly and helpful. 4) Rooms are clean. The room comes with complimentary water, kettle and simple bathroom utilities. 5) Breakfast is simple. Cons 1) The aircon was noisy. However, the housekeeping team quickly changed my room without much fuss. 2) Not many varieties for breakfast. It takes a while to be served (as they cook it fresh 3) The details of visiting guests were not recorded. Perhaps it would be good for the reception to take the details and call the room once the guests leave. 4) The hotel is located on one road behind perimeter street. Felt a bit uncomfortable when walking back late at night to the hotel. 5) Not much TV programme screened Overall, good hotel. Will stay there again.

I thoroughly enjoyed my 4-night stay at the ABC hotel in Angeles City, with some awesome experiences at an awesome hotel. The staff are very helpful and all made me feel most welcome. My room was a standard suite with a king bed: both the room and bathroom were spacious and luxurious, with the king bed being both comfortable and huge. The décor might appear a bit decadent / extravagant, but I liked it. The room had everything I needed and housekeeping provided excellent service. I made full use of most of the amenities: restaurants (Vintage Hall and Spice Road), wellness centre (massage and pedicure) as well as the Aqua Sky Deck (very cool bar with swimming pool). I will always have fond memories of my stay at the ABC Hotel and In the words of Douglas MacArthur: I shall return.

Rooms and estaurants are very spacious. Good aesthetic as well. We have two showers and two toile in our rooms which was good since it means several people can take a bath and use the toilet at the same time. Downside is there no hooks for the towel or clothes at all! Rooms have wifi but forgettable. Basic toiletries and towel are provided. Unfortunately, despite the duration lf your stay, only two bottles of water are provided. The Hotel Cafe and Restaurant food are good. Breakfast buffet consists of Korean, Filipino and Western choices. Wish they could print/provide a menu in the room for faster room service.
