This place is just lovely! Owned by a very friendly family that makes you feel very welcomed. The room prices are very good, and the rooms are nice. This place has a nice garden where you have tasty breakfast every morning (veggie options available). They do laundry and you can use their bikes for free. The location is good about 15 mins walk to the town centre and about 15mins by bike to the beach. We were going to stay here for 3 night but extended for another 3, thats how much we liked it here. P.S. dog friendly house, pets roam around freely 💕 Over all would defiantly recommend.

We spent 5 nights at this peaceful, cozy and classy villa. The place in itself is wonderful: You eat breakfast in a beautiful inner courtyard in front of the pool, surrounded by the grapefruit trees and small ponds with small fish in them. Altough the place is a bit farther from the old town, you can use a bike to get there in like 5 minutes so it was never a problem. The room we had had a king sized bed, a fridge (really practical to stock up on water, beer, or whatever you like). We also had a big flat screen tv in front of the bed that we really enjoyed for those early nights in to cuddle while watching a movie. But what really makes this place shine are the two hostess. They were truly helpful in booking our activities. We were limited on time and wanted to combine visiting the My Son ruins with the Bana Hills. No tours doing both existed so they found us a very professional private driver and did it all in one day. They ask what you want for breakfast the day before so it's ready in no time in the morning, allowing you to go on with your day quickly. They also gave us extra local food (the shrimp and egg spring rolls, a real delight) in the morning just so we could try it. At first I was kind of reluctant at their eagerness to help us plan the activities. I thought they just wanted to sell us as much things as possible but I was wrong: they only want to help you. The price for the activities or our bus tickets were actually lower than the other places we compared to. They are always smiling and ready to help you with anything you might need. I definitely recommend this place and if we're lucky enough to come back to Hoi Han one day I know for sure where we will stay: The Green Grapefruit Villa.

We had a great time at Green Bud Homestay. Thi is so lovely, welcoming and friendly! We arrived at 7am after a sleeper bus and Thi checked us in early so we could rest. Thi then sat down with us later and went through the map of the area which was really helpful. The rooms are big, clean and comfortable. There are toothbrushes and toothpaste provided too. One evening we had dinner with Thi and her family which was a lovely experience. We also had breakfast one morning which was also nice. You can also get your laundry done here which is so convenient! We had a fantastic time and would definitely stay again and would recommend to others.

Me and my girlfriend (both 19) have stayed here for a week in February 2020. Its been an absolute dream, and the family running the place are extremely kind and pleasant to be around. There is good wifi, free breakfast, and the residence is beautiful. They even invited us to join them for dinner once, and it was so nice. The room was big and and comfortable, the bathroom had both a shower and a bathtub, and we had access to our own balcony. You get a big closet to put your clothes in, and the room is rigged with air conditioning. If i ever come back to this lovely village, ill be sure to check in here once again because i know ill get a 5-star experience, and i also advice anyone who reads this to try it as-well. 10/10!

Was totally thrilled with my accommodations in Hoi an. Was a bit skeptical when I saw the price in Airbnb. The manager was very helpful arranging for transport from the danang airport to Hoi an and for scheduling my two trips. typically I avoid hotel food but I had an early start. Food was surprisingly very good. The rooms are large and the beds are comfortable. Bathrooms are clean. Would highly recommend this venue if you are traveling in Hoi an.

We had a very good time in Hoi An and one of the main reasons was this wonderful homestay. It's a little away form the noisy center, but it's quiet and perfect for a digital nomad couple. The owner of the hose is so nice and she give her best to make you feel comfortable and enjoy your stay. The breakfast she made every morning is so delicious ! We stayed here three weeks and the time passed so fast..Jackfruit Homestay offers very good value for the money you pay, I recommend this place with all my heart. You can also rent a scooter or a bike from the family at a good price. We want to come back !

I’ve been to Hoi An twice in the past 2 years and have always found it relatively hard to find a nice place to stay. Me and my friend moved to this homestay after a bad experience in one closer to town. Needless to say this is one of the nicest home stays I’ve stayed in! The family are lovely and welcoming, very laid back considering they have strangers in and out their home all the time. They offer free bicycles you can ride into town, the walk is about 30 minutes but easy to navigate and we personally thought it quite nice to come back somewhere more peaceful than town. The breakfast is also 10/10 lots of option, freshly made and very generous amount. Mosquito nets and towels provided as well as a mini fridge filled with water, coke and beer for great prices! Thank you so much Mr Dung and family!

We stayed in Hoi An for two nights in Greenworld. The only word is WOW for this home-stay and that is due to the amazing hosts. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we were met with the beautiful hosts; Lee and her husband. Lee is exactly what a host should be and more! She gave us loads of advice, nothing was too much trouble at all and helped us organise a trip and a bus to our next destination. The room and bathroom is spotless and comfortable. I could not fault anything. The home stay is about a 30 minute walk from the main town, however a pleasant walk and we were given directions from Lee. This is by far the nicest accommodation we have stayed in on our stay in Vietnam (and we have stayed in a lot of hotels). It is the most beautiful family run business with their kids present who are a delight. We can’t thank you enough for our stay and would highly recommend to anyone. You will not be disappointed! We stayed at the Roxana River Villa in Hoi An, Vietnam in early March, 2020. Our large room had a balcony overlooking the riverfront giving us views of the occasional boat traffic. The entire hotel is very clean and well maintained. The pool area is partly shaded, a plus in the tropical heat, and large enough to swim laps. Yet, the best part of our stay was interacting with the very friendly and kind staff. They were a pleasure to speak with and always looking out for our needs. For breakfast there was a variety of food and always very good. The Roxana also provides bicycles for guest use, which came in very handy to ride into the Old Quarter, which was approximately one kilometer away. This was far enough for a little peace and quiet from the tourist noise, but within walking, or biking distance. We highly recommend the Roxana River Villa for any stay in the Hoi An area.

From the moment we stepped out of the car outside Azalea Homestay we felt truly welcomed. A clean, quiet and very comfortable place to stay away from all the craziness in Hoi An but at the same time not too far away. The minor remarks we have is the sound isolation in the room, heard a bit from the kitchen and living room area since we lived on the first floor. Nothing that bothered us a lot but you heard a great deal. The second and last thing was that the white towels weren’t always completely white. Probably stains from the red sand around and colored by it. Never ever felt dirty, just would’ve been even nicer if the color matched the cleanliness.

We stayed for 1 night in July 2019. The property was fine for a 2/3 star, not amazing but fine. The rooms were large but overall it was not nearly as nice as the photos suggest. Unfortunately the behaviour of the other guests made this a completely inappropriate place for a family to stay. The owner seemed to have no issue with the fairly extreme level of partying that was going on at breakfast time and was continuing to serve alcohol. He even suggested we eat our breakfast right in the middle of everything that was going on (heavy drinking, loud music, lots of smoking +). Completely inappropriate for small children. We explained this wasn't suitable and insisted on eating breakfast inside, which he organised for us. We then went out for the morning, hoping things would have calmed down by the time we got back. We returned at midday and the partying was in full swing. We packed our bags and told the owner we had to leave as this was not a suitable environment for children. The owner charged us for the night we had stayed plus an extra half a night (we had booked 3 in total), saying this was because we were leaving an hour after check out time. This was probably unfair but we were just desperate to get our children off the property so paid it and left. More annoyingly, I found out later that he recorded my booking as a 'No Show' so that I could not leave a review on Booking.com. When I booked this property on Booking.com one of the reasons I chose it was that it was listed as Family Friendly. It certainly was not. Perhaps if we had had different fellow guests things may have been better, but the owner appeared to value selling more alcohol over the well being of other guests. If you are someone who likes to party you may like this place. If you have a family I would strongly suggest you avoid it.

The room is small but very comfortable. You need to take off your shoes to enter the hall. The boss is super nice. He helped to book the ticket to Nha Trang on the next day, and also helped me change the room and charged a little fee. It means that the hot water for bathing at night is big and small. I even accidentally left the hats I bought in Hoi An at his house.

This is my second visit to Hoi An. This time I was staying for 3 months. I stayed on Can Nam Island for the first month. A friend who lives in Hoi An then recommended the Daisy Garden Villa. I was already in Hoi An, so I visited the Daisy Garden. I wanted to rent for 6 weeks. Daisy offers discounts for long term stays and she gave me an excellent monthly rate. My price included a Breakfast. My Double Room came with mini fridge, Cable TV, aircon, and a kettle. Housekeeping was daily and they came daily. Bed linen was changed weekly. My private bathroom had a hot water rainfall shower. Outside, I had a small balcony area with a table looking out over the pool. The complimentary Breakfast was a choice of 1 main dish from a selection of about 7 items. In addition, you had the choice between a fruit shake or tea / coffee. Usually they also gave you complimentary fruit. The wifi throughout the hotel was very good and fast enough to stream video. Restaurant Menu prices were ‘good’ with something like chicken fried rice going for V$55k. Their beer was also reasonably priced with a can of local beer going for only V$15k. A glass of local wine was V$30k. It took less than 10 minutes to cycle the 1km from the hotel to the Old Quarter. Daisy Garden provide free bicycles. The staff were exceptional. Very professional. Very friendly. Daisy runs a 'tight ship'. This place is hard to beat. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

This homestay is just amazing! It really is a home away from home. Stayed here for nine nights....and was sad to leave. The family are such nice genuine people that make you feel so welcome. The rooms ...just 4 of them are new, clean and have everything you need in them. We stayed in room 203 and our balcony overlooked the front. The area is quiet and set among the local people...just heaven. It is a few minutes walk to the beach. There are many restaurants on the beach and also on the street running through the village. Hoi an is 5 mins in a taxi that will cost you £2. Hoi an itself is amazing and we have stayed in town before... we prefer the beach and ang bang beach is lovely. Breakfast is delicious with plenty of choice. Rooms cleaned daily with fresh linen etc. I can’t recommend this place enough.

I originally booked to stay here for 3 nights but I extended this to a further 2 nights. It is a lovely homestay and all of the staff are very accommodating and lovely. My room, by the pool, was lovely and big & was cleaned every day. The AC is perfect. Food is also very nice here and they are happy to serve you it any time of the day. I booked a cooking class through this homestay which I would also highly recommend. They also have bikes you can use for free and you can hire motorbikes from them for a small fee. It is located approx 30 mins cycle from the beach and a 10 min motorbike ride from the main night markets/river. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends.

We spent a whole week at Lantern Riverside in Hoi An ad had a wonderful time at this beautiful homestay. First of all, I always base my decisions on location, as I enjoy being at the center of the action with no need for transportation or any other arrangement or long walks, but then I am also keen on some good comfort while saving money. Lantern Riverside was perfect for a long stay. It was very conveniently located 50 meters from the Night Market, and only about 6 blocks from the Japanese Bridge and the beautiful Old City center of Hoi An. This homestay was very quiet and affordable. Our room on the third floor with partial views on the river was bright and surprisingly big, with all the necessary amenities. The small staff and their family were simply the very best people you could ask for. They took care of us as if we were family. This made our stay even more enjoyable. We will definitely come back to Lantern Riverside during our next visit in Hoi An.

I recently went to Vietnam with my family and partner, so we always needed two rooms. We stumbled across Ancient Terra-cotta Villa on Booking.com where it said there was only one room available, we called the hotel hoping for the best, because the photos were amazing. To our luck they had two rooms available, and were happy to organize pickup and drop off for the airport for us. Initially we only booked 3 nights, but within an hour of being at the Villa we new we wanted to extend to stay our full 7 nights in Hoi An at the Villa. It was a place where you truly feel like you are at home. They were willing to accommodate to our every need, and were nice enough to even add Banana Pancakes to the breakfast menu for my younger brother. Every time we entered the Villa, it was like going home to family, you were greeted with a smile and asked about your day. My partner and I even helped the beautiful receptionist with preparation for her English exam as she is such a kind hearted person, we just couldn’t say no! On our second last night the family made a Vietnamese feast where we got to sample true Vietnamese meals, where they catered for my vegetarian diet. I definitely know where I am going to stay next time I am in Hoi An.

I'd stayed at Ngo Homestay four years ago and upon returning, wasn't surprised to discover that like me, many people come back to stay at this delightful location. It's that good! This time I stayed across the street at the Villa which, like the Ngo Homestay, has the same high standards that ensure a comfortable and memorable time in Hoi An. The family members and staff who run both establishments are a key feature - great people who work hard to look after you. This time, I was treated to coconut coffee at a cafe near the Japanese Bridge, as well as a complimentary airport transfer with the owners who also happened to be on their way to Da Nang on the morning I was leaving. It's little touches like that which make Ngo Homestay and Villa different and special. Thanks to everyone there for looking after me!

We stayed here for a week as a family of 4 and fell in love with the place! Vy, the owner, couldn't do enough to help and was so warm and welcoming. Breakfast each morning was delicious, served in the beautiful garden, overlooking the pool. The room was very clean and comfortable, with a great bathroom. The pool was lovely and the surrounding tropical plants and bamboo huts in this family run hotel made for a fantastic setting. As the villa is slightly out of Hoi An itself (a 100,000VND/£3 taxi ride or a short bike ride) it had the advantage of a beautiful, peaceful rural setting. We felt like we got a feel for the real Vietnam. There was a little shop at the end of the road where you could buy snacks, bottles of water or even a meal. Or there were more options a short bike ride away. However, the minibar was very reasonably priced for the days we wanted to just relax by the pool! We happened to arrive home from our evening meal one night when Vy and his family were harvesting the shrimp from the surrounding lakes. They made us feel really welcome and encouraged us to watch and join in. It was a real highlight to our holiday! I would definitely recommend this place, it was excellent value for money.

We have just returned from 2 weeks in Hoi An with side trips to Hue and the DMZ. So much to see and do in the area. We chose Rural Scene online and couldn't have made a better choice. The rooms are spacious, the beds are very comfortable and the Airconditioning was just what the Dr ordered after a long hot day exploring. Our room opened straight onto the pool which was the perfect temperature and a nice private area to unwind. The rooms were cleaned daily and the fridge restocked at a very uncommonly low fee for a mini bar. Breakfast was a great choice of both Vietnamese and western dishes. The Banana Pancakes and Omelette particular favorites. Same, same every day. A little too far to walk to downtown but an easy bike ride or grab a Grab for as low as 80 aussie cents off peak. This family run Homestay was a home away from home. The entire staff were sooooo friendly and accommodating. Sol on the front desk seemed to do it all. Was always there to greet us coming home at night and up early to cook us our favorite breakfast. Some-one needs to give this girl a holiday. Sol became to embody Vietnam itself. So sweet and friendly with a ready smile. It was sad to say goodbye. We will be back for sure. Thanks HoiAn and Sol for a holiday to remember.

My daughters and I spend 7 nights at this family owned hotel and we had a a fantastic time here. The hotel is situated close just beside the river with a great view and only 8 minutes slow walk from the historic center of Hoi An. They have good and maintained bicycles which you can use without extra costs. Every day we enjoyed a freshly made breakfast before we went out to explore the area either by bicycle or guidet tours ordered by the hotel if we wanted. The staff is very servicedminded. Especially the young owner himself and his wife who are always smiling and asking if you feel good. I can only give my best recommendation. NB: There is some noice from the crossing the river bridge nearby and I hope the city will consider to do some change to the construction of the bridge. Shouldn't be too difficult as only matter of changing some metal plates and replace with something less noicy. However this is not something you can hear in your room!

My best hotel experience was here in Crony Villa. This is a recently opened place so if you are wondering why you are not able to find more reviews... that's why. Everything is super clean, the garden is lovely, the food is nice, the beds are super comfortable. It's more or less 15 minutes by bike from the old town which was not a problem at all because you could take one of them whenever needed. (Also you can rent a motorbike from Crony Villa to go further.) I have to mention the staff because they are really nice and helpful. Even when I had health issues they helped me and took us to the farmacy. And also a huge thanks to Chuck (the manager) for making our stay so wonderful. Thanks for the morning bike rides together where you took us to a local coffee house; all the stories, experiences and facts you shared with us about Vietnam and Vietnamese people; the atmosphere you created that brought the guests together for a beer and that you are always there when someone needs advice. Fun story: when we arrived at the hotel and were doing the check-in process we heard cheering from the backyard so we were welcome to see the football game with all the hotel staff who were celebrating together and doing a bbq. By the time we sat down we had plates with food in them and some beer. It was delicios!!! Thanks again and keep on doing this amazing job you are doing right now! The (not bird watcher) Hungarians :)

I and my family had a wonderful holiday at Tre's beach house. Very clean, brand new and beautiful house. Very friendly and kind host, they cook for us really good food, we will miss them, yummy. Also, we really love private beach, we can enjoy the beach with out crowded in the summer, not to many place in Hoian have this, we knew we really found a hidden gem with super reasonable price. Absolutely come back.

My family and me stayed for three nights in Home River Villa and I will never forget this accommodation and hospitality we were given there. We were welcomed so warmly. The amenity is run by very nice, friendly and warm family. The room was nice, spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was nice and impeccably clean. The room had a balcony overlooking the street but the street was not busy, not crowded so it was nice and peaceful. The breakfast was delicious. The day before, you should order what you were going to eat the following day. There are a couple of options but all of them are great and tasty. I loved the pancakes with banana. I must write that in Home River Villa I had the tastiest, the best coffee I had tried in Vietnam. Vietnam is famous for its coffee and it is really amazing. I miss this coffee so much now, being back to my country. But in River home Villa this coffee was the top! The amenity has a small pool which was a good option in the morning when it was too hot to go to the beach and our daughter enjoyed so much in this pool. The pool was really really clean and they changed water constantly. The beach is near , 5 minutes on foot and this part of the beach is great because it was not so crowded and it is very intimate, romantic and nice with some really good restaurants. The centre is not so near but you have bikes in Home River Villa for free and it was a nice half an hour ride to the centre. The lady , the host booked a day trip for us and they were really at our disposal for everything we needed. I would definitely recommend this accommodation because it is excellent and real value for money. If we come one day to Vietnam again we would go to Home River Villa for sure. I felt like I was in a cosy Villa with great and amazing hosts.

Good location, a few minutes to the ancient city, there is a farmer's market next to it, and fruits, vegetables and seafood are on the way. It is also a good choice to cook them in the owner's kitchen. The room was very clean, everyone took off their shoes and entered the door. Wi-Fi is fast. The male host has just retired from the government and had previously received visiting leaders from various countries. The family's English is very good. The room has a large bed, or a large bed and a single bed. Clothes drying on the terrace is also convenient. For breakfast, some go out to eat a variety of flour and bread with meat.

The hotel service is great and friendly to the Chinese, compared to the hotel we stayed in Da Nang (Some of the hotels in Da Nang are obviously not friendly to the Chinese, the rooms with the same price to the Chinese are bad floor), so at this point Feeling good at staying. Then mention that the free breakfast here is really rich and can be eaten like lunch. And if you stay here for more than 2 nights, there will be a free dinner, three dishes and a snack. This must be confirmed with their hotel. I do n’t know if this preferential policy is always available. Although the ancient town of Lihui'an is 2 kilometers away, the room is humid because of the climate, but it really has no choice in terms of cost performance. The most satisfied hotel in the whole trip. I can give 99 points. If the hotel has wet problems afterwards, you can think of ways to improve it, then 100 points
