We have lived near Flushing Queens for many yrs, long before Sheraton LaGuardia East Hotel was built. We believe this hotel building started the rebirth/renaissance of this area. The hotel has provided a modern structure to accommodate our friends and families for more than 15 years or even longer. Before that, our quests would stay in Manhattan and then come back to Flushing to enjoy the restaurants. The #7 subway provides the shuttling for people to get to the museums, the bway shows etc. in the city, and then come back here for less crowd and less noise. Flushing neiborhood provides an oasis in the heart of Queens and this hotel stands strong as a landmark in Flushing. We have taken pride in Queens, the so called "another China Town” because the abundance of excellent restaurants in every corner. For that token we also are appreciative of this hotel for its foresight to build a hotel here putting Flushing on the map. We stayed here for one night on Christmas Eve/Day; and we have done that at Christmas time for the past 4 yrs. The hotel has two separate entrances, from there one can walk out to shops, restaurants, bakeries, and Chinese grocery stores on the Roosevelt Ave, 40th Road (the Food Street) and Main Street. In the morning, we would make the stop to "Won Jiaw" (on the 40th Rd, in Chinese it means "prosperity corner") where one can get the most delicious dim sums with complimentary soy milk/coffee. Right next to the hotel, there is a bakery, "ah pou lo" (the Sun God Apollo) where one can get a variety of bake goods, the bums, and the most delicious steamed buns. This time, we were upgraded to an executive suite; in addition to the lounge access, we were offered a buffet breakfast as well. We were treated so well, it left an impression with a brief stay. We are impressed with the consistent warm and wonderful greetings throughout the hotel, from checking-in to the parking level attendants, from the house keeping staffs to the services at the lounge. It was never a moment one feels overlooked, or feel that the hotel was too crowed or too loud~ This hotel should take credit for giving a new look, a rebirth for the old Flushing neighborhood. Sheraton LAG East is very much appreciated for knowing how to take care of travelers and customers as they were most important people for a few days. Like people, hotels do not get old without leaving a great history behind. In my opinion, this landmark hotel is made of good history, of respect, and of pride and charm.

As a healthcare worker coming to a hotel for work is highly unusual and needless to say this stay was for the safety of my family. However, every morning I was greeted with a friendly face, someone would ask me how my day or night was, there was a warm breakfast available every morning and a clean bed to sleep in. And after working for 12hrs straight on nights or sometimes days having a warm breakfast sandwich to start or end your 'day' is just so nice. I was especially partial to the freshly squeezed grapefruit juice (it was fabulous). I had an amazing stay despite the circumstances. I wanted to take the time to express that. I apologize for not naming anyone personally but the breakfast workers hold a special in my heart (they never judged by ravenous appetite). When the world opens up again, I will make it my business to book a Hyatt Hotel stay wherever I go next.

I've stayed here a few times for my holidays. I travel alone to meet friends there these last few years. It has become my first choice for hotels when I visit NYC because of location, convenience and friendly staff. The lady at the front desk has begun to recognize me already although I am there annually . At least I like to think so. The staff is helpful and polite. The rooms are decent, fairly quiet and very comfortable. The location is near many restaurants and the subway so getting in and out is very convenient. Even the Shuttle to the city and brooklyn chinatown is a short walk away!! Definitely recommend this hotel!

We stayed 2 night at the end of June. Hotel is dated. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom is clean. Do not look for luxury in this older hotel. It is good for the value. Check in and cleaning staffs are very nice. It has eight floor and each floor has 4 units. Free breakfast, food quality is just so so. They provide coffee, tea, bread, muffins, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, instant noodles and some fruits. It has in room safe. Entrance area can be challenging for those who requires walker or wheelchair, as you have to go down about 10 steps from street level before entering the front desk. It is not a bad option for budget travelers.

Will never again come here again. No way to contact the main desk after booking. Hotel policy to switch dates or cancel is impossible because of their lack of communication with guests. I lost money from a accidental cancellation attempting to change dates and they denied refunding or waiving my next room accomidation in Flushing Hotel. The inside of the rooms are old fashioned and I have been to motels cheaper and cleaner than this room. My room had a hole by the bathroom door knob, the lever for the bathtub came apart just by turning it on. And there was a leak in the bathroom sink. And dont get me started with the bed and air conditioner. The queen bed for a couple was just springs and the air conditioner switch wasn't working all that well. The walls had crack and smudges. And finally, the room had this weird odor from the rug that we had to ventilate out. When I showed the damages to the main desk, they looked at each other, laughed and spoke in Mandarin and told me ok. Wish I knew what they were saying... The only few good things they did was provide fresh clean towels for the bathroom and sheets for our bed. The free breakfast was okay too. Typical chinese breakfast and some frozen waffles/pancakes for the kids. It's free, can't really complain about that. I really like the varity of asian cuisine you can get at Flushing but I will definitely avoid coming back to Flushing Hotel ever again.

The location of the hotel is next to Flushing Target. It is very convenient to eat and go shopping. The main reason is that the internal and external environment of the hotel is relatively clean. As far as the sanitary environment is concerned, this Flushing hotel is better. The handsome guy at the front desk is also very nice! I will stay here next time

I reserved a King sized bed deluxe room, and it seemed I was upgraded to a suite or so (unless that's what a "deluxe room" is). The hotel concierge was quick to address my needs and was generally friendly. Check in and check out were done quickly. As for the actual room itself, I love how clean and spacious it was (the latter especially when compared to Manhattan's hotel rooms). The King sized bed was comfortable to sleep in, and I didn't have any issues with the pillows being too high or too low. Noise level wise, the area seems quiet at night thankfully. Note that the air conditioning runs really well. A good thing to keep in mind as some hotels have bad A/C that barely gets the room cold. The bathroom is clean and spacious like the room. You have your usual toiletries. None of them stand out, but they get the job done. Only flaw with the bathroom is that there is no fan control. Breakfast buffet is $13. Apparently you can buy a voucher with the stay from initial reservations or just pay for it directly after being seated. Breakfast isn't bad; it's recommended if you're attending the US Open. Location wise, this is place is great. It's only like an eight minutes walk from the LIRR or metro station. The hotel lies on the outskirt of Flushing's Chinatown so there are tons of nearby Asian restaurants with cheap prices. Important to note that the hotel provides feel shuttle services. I took one to the US Open and it usually runs every half hour. Be advised that if you're intend to take a shuttle back to the hotel after the conclusion of a day at the US Open, it can take awhile especially if a Mets game also finished. When this happen, I would advise just taking the 7 subway to Flushing Main Street and then walking back to the hotel. If I ever need to return this area, I would definitely consider this hotel again.

I stayed at this hotel by fluke due to a delayed flight and it was actually quite lovely. I had a very comfortable king size bed, a nice view and the European shower was a nice touch. The hotel is about a 5 min drive to the airport and it is in the heart of Queens Chinatown with lots of yummy Chinese food in walking distance. Staff was friendly and helpful and most importantly this hotel room was very clean! I highly recommend it.

I stayed here for a night during the summertime. Not a bad property. They have complimentary water, coffee, and tea. The room was very clean. Provided us with shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel. The room was very, very clean (which Is a top priority and expectation). The room was small though, I’m thinking no more than 220 SQ FT (If at that) but I was ok with It, I wasn’t expecting a master penthouse. What I loved most about the room was the A/C unit! It was a powerhouse! I felt as If I was sleeping in an igloo. Overall, everything was excellent and If I’m in the neighborhood again, this is where I’d stay at.

The hotel's configuration is good, dishwasher, microwave, induction cooker, refrigerator, dishes and cutlery are very full! It's just that the scoop and shovel are not easy to use, but you can do it! The hotel room is large, a dressing room, and two large closets. There is an anteroom in the entrance. The kitchen has an island and a dining table. The family is definitely very relaxed. But the shortcomings are too prominent, that is, the refrigerator is very noisy. At night, the noise is not good at all. The sound of the air conditioner is louder and the heat is very fast. It is sleeping in an air conditioner. The noise feels like sleeping in the open hood. Next to it, the booming night collapsed! If the air conditioner is turned off first, the second refrigerator is still very noisy and can't be turned off, so sleep and fear the noise to give up! In addition, the curtains are blinds, and they are not shaded at all. This is not human! Let's talk about the advantages. The hotel is just outside the Wall Street subway station. There is an exit on the 2. and 3 lines in the hotel. It is especially convenient. It is also very close to the 4th and 5th lines! The hotel is very convenient for transportation. It is a 5-minute walk from Trinity Church and a 10-minute walk from Wall Street Copper Bull. The opposite side of Tongniu is the Museum of American Indians. The building is particularly beautiful! It’s also about 10 minutes walk from the boat dock to see the Statue of Liberty. It’s really convenient, and the surrounding security is better. There are not so many tramps! The hotel has a big food supermarket for 3 minutes. The food for cooking can be fully purchased. Turn right and go straight for 5 minutes. There is a very complete daily necessities supermarket. It is also convenient. In short, in addition to huge noise, other The place is worth experiencing, the bathroom is easy to use, the toiletries are all L'Occitane, the mattress is soft but comfortable, the pillows and quilts are also very soft and comfortable, the bed is USB charging and humanized, except for the bathroom mirror I don’t know what to do with the nonsense owls. It’s very scary to go to the toilet in the middle of the night. The others are very human! In addition, I saw that there is a guest feedback that there is no smoke exhauster. In fact, I have not found a place. The switch of the smoke exhauster is on the microwave oven. The light is the light of the hood. The FAN is the switch of the smoke exhauster. The blinds next to the air conditioner outlet are seen. It is one piece, it is actually a cover, and the air conditioner switch is hidden inside.

My boyfriend and I spent the night here awhile ago and we couldn't be happier with our stay. The hotel feels very sexy so it was perfect for our little staycation. We're right next to Times Square so we got to be tourist in our city. The rooftop is gorgeous. We had the king suite overlooking the street with wall to wall windows. It was a great change and escape from our tiny Brooklyn apartment. Would highly recommend for a sexy night in NY:) Also shout out to the GM Jeremy Poon if he's still there. Amazing hospitality from the bellman to the front desk to the housekeeping team.

Taking a taxi is also very convenient. 3. Good service: there are people in the lobby 24 hours, and a deposit of 250 yuan for 5 nights. 4. The room size is OK and the facilities are complete.

I was going to NYC to see Elton John and was to stay at The New Yorker. Well... neither happened. I had made non-refundable reservations but called the hotel to see if their policy would change during this crisis. Every person I spoke to was so nice and helpful. One person that really stood out was Neida Aldama, a supervisor at the front desk. She was incredibly kind and compassionate about the situation, and offered that my prepayment be used as a credit that I can apply anytime in the next year (hopefully if/when Elton John reschedules!!). I feel that this was very generous, given the fact that they had every right to tell me I was SOL. Neida even went so far as to call me to directly answer a question I had. I know that they are dealing with a lot and are working with a skeleton crew, so that phone call really blew me away. Thank you Neida and The New Yorker!

It ’s not the time to come out this time to catch the epidemic every day. This hotel is not cost-effective. The deposit is 600. Breakfast is basic for more than 100. Every night, the food is delivered to the room for more than 130. The 600 deposit is not enough. I ca n’t say that the deposit is refundable. The bathroom is super small, especially the shower and hand basin. What ’s wrong? Drop the ensuite sofa into the toilet. The sofa can be turned into a bed. I think the next time I go I will choose to live in New Jersey across the Madison River to see the buildings in Manhattan. It was so noisy that at least ten policemen were parked downstairs 24 hours a day.

I’m going to tell you a secret and you have to promise not to tell anyone. You can taste New York without New York money. How? The eminent Concorde hotel. I’m here now, writing this review. It’s midnight and the Upper East Side looks so beautiful from up here. This window is four times the size of my body and yet I feel so large. It’s all in the room, I think. It makes me feel like I’m Wilson Fisk. I'm Tony Stark. I'm Bruce Wayne upon Gotham. In this moment, I run New York. Wait a moment. Something caught my eye. I wonder why a single room light is on the 61st floor of the Bloomberg building? Is Mike home? You really need to see the Bloomberg building at midnight from this floor. What a view. Back to the Concorde. Every place is defined by its people, so let’s talk folk. All Concorde staff I encountered were excellent, from the courteous doormen to the tireless housekeepers. A few to note: the amiable Christopher Shepard, the efficient Rada Drascovic, the soigné Dukens Alexandre. They exemplify luxury hospitality. Meet them and consider yourself lucky. Look, we all agree that that hospitality in New York is a gamble, regardless of star ratings or thousands paid. Well, not the Concorde – it’s consistently well reviewed as far as excellence in customer service and I got to experience first-hand why. New York is not known for consistency in anything. I was impressed. Let’s now talk about the space. Understand that this hotel is less boutique and more New York history. It was born as a residential high-rise owned by a major airline to provide exclusive lodging to visiting crew. Keep in mind that corporations take it very seriously that the people flying their billion-dollar aircraft get the pinnacle of luxury for their night’s rest. So, you will too. The Concorde is designed with your comfort in mind. That’s why every floor only has four rooms. That’s why the beds are so soft. That’s why the soothing tones of mid-century modern mellow your eyes. That’s why I’m typing this with my laptop on a marble table top. That’s why… the bathrooms. Oh, the bathrooms. God damn. We’re talking bathrooms the size of a New York city studio. Professional vanity mirror taking up a warehouse chunk of wall real estate. Walk-in shower and soaking tub. That’s right - and. Have you ever finished a run in Central Park with a perfectly-temperature-controlled Bahamas waterfall of a chilled shower, soak your tired muscles in a home spa of a soothing bubble bath, then back to the Bahamas you go? I have. A bit about the amenities. Well, there’s the essential WIFI, but note that you can ask for a network cable for better Zooming or Teaming. 92 Mbps down / 94 Mbps up during my stay, by the way. My TV is quite big and has all the usual channels and music. A fridge (mind you, much mini) lets me keep a few refreshments cool for when needed. Finally, an iron and board in the room let me have my pilot uniform looking crisp for my flight out.
