My wife and myself always go to this hotel as our number one choice when spending a night in Paris...Although the white bunny from before is gone, the unique atmosphere is still there...:))) The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the personnel always friendly abd helpfull... The hotel is also very affordable and well-located not far from the Champs-Elysees.

I visited Paris for a few days. Online this hotel looked ok and prices were reasonable. The frontline staff were very helpful . The WiFi works very well too. The hotel is quite dated but my main grump is on the cleaning standards which leave a lot to be desired. The cream bathroom shower curtain was stained and looked brown. Window sills were dusty and the little balcony from the bathroom seems forgotten by the cleaners. The entrance to the hotel where the hotel name is written, is all dusty- very soon we won’t be able to read the hotel name. My friend also had a water leak in their room, they were given a bucket to collect the water!! Please management do something, update and better cleaning please, above all.

Nice rooms, with beautiful bathroom in ours..number 55. Location about 3-5 minutes walk from 2 Metro stations, with access to more central locations. Breakfast had a great choice and reception staff are multi lingual and very helpful. Only problem for me, and this is mainly due to human inadequacies, in that the doors are very noisy, so when the less selfish folk go in and out of their room, slamming doors or even just letting them close was quite noisy, but this could just be me. Otherwise a lovely hotel at a reasonable price for Paris.

Tiny hotel, felt the website oversold the place and personally would have chosen a different place. Lift is tiny and unpredictable to take it if you dare. With the General Strike the location was a nightmare lots of walking, otherwise a good location, if you can use the metro. Rooms tiny and you can hear your neighbours as if they are in the same room more like a student residence, living on top of each other. You can hear everything (Even a warning in the lift about the sounds your produce) Was cold without double glazing and cushions on the bed left brown fluff everywhere. Shower was hot then cold the scolding No free tea or coffee in the room either. TV all in French apart from BBC News, which isn't such an important point but if you like to wind down at the end of the day forget it. Staff brilliant english speaking and helpful. Breakfast ok but unless your up early you will miss out. Not a place I would associciate with the Best Western Brand and a lot better value for money available if you shop around.

This hotel is undertaking an upgrade. The stairs and public areas are a bit shabby because of ongoing works but the rooms are very impressive. They're on the small side but have everything you might need for an enjoyable stay and the beds are so comfortable. Just off the Rue de Courcelles the amenities are all close at hand. The Arc de Triomphe is a short walk away and has one of the tour bus stops at the top of the Champs d'Elysses which serves most of the central Paris area. Don't be put off by first impressions of the hotel. This one will only get better.

During the Covid-19 outbreak, my fiancé and I got transferred to this hotel from their “sister hotel” Hotel Romance a few blocks away. Hotel Glasgow was understanding in this hard time of trying to find our way back to the US. They helped us find a place to stay when they were instructed to shut down due to the virus. Breakfast was yummy and the room was quaint and very clean.

I stayed here for 3 nights on business. My company booked it for me, and actually apologized to me later. Pluses 1. Fast, free wifi 2. Good location in the 17e near shops and restaurants 3. Front desk staff is very kind Minuses 1. Breakfast is not included, and definitely not worth the fee (just bread, croissant, jam, butter, coffee, carton orange juice) 2. Not very well kept or clean. I took an extra blanket from the shelf, and a huge beetle crawled out of it. Ugh. My door had a weird hole drilled into it that acted like a PEEPHOLE, which a previous occupant had covered with packing tape for privacy! 3. Ripped, stained carpeting and moldy shower curtain 4. No lift, if that matters to you 5. The hall lights up the spiral stairs don't work. The hallway lights on the floors don't work. As a woman traveling alone, and as someone who did not want to plummet down 3 flights of stairs in the dark, I felt very unsafe. 6. There is an older man, I am guessing the owner, who lives in the room where breakfast is served. He is very, VERY loud, and treats the breakfast room and lobby as his personal living room. It's very off-putting. He was talking to the front desk staff in a tone so loud that I thought they were fighting. I felt very sorry for the front desk staff, who were very nice. I do not recommend this hotel at all. It felt unclean and unsafe.

firstly the good things about this hotel is that it is a very nice area of the city. The rooms are more or less nice although a little small but we knew to expect this in Paris. The Bed however was very very comfortable especially the pillows. It liked the quirky designs in the corridors and room. The downsides were having our room key taken away from us every time we left the hotel for the day . whilst we understood that this was a precaution this kind of mistrust and automatic disciplinary attitude towards guest's puzzled us and did not make for an completely welcoming atmosphere. Whilst the reception and cleaning staff were friendly , I think there could just be a couple of small changes made that would make the whole experience seem a bit more generous and relaxed . small things like free use of umbrella in the lobby without instantly demanding a deposit for it , a free drink for the guest when they arrive perhaps? even if its just water with some lemon ( thats cheap to provide but feels welcoming ) nothing fancy . I would have loved to have much bigger and softer towels in the bathrooms rather then those small scrappy ones that you cant even wrap around you , and a conditioner as well as shampoo would have been nice . Finally maybe something hot to eat at breakfast time ( maybye eggs?) . The one final point is that , unfortunately there was a fire alarm during our stay which was a mistake and could not be helped however , when we came down the fire exit stairway we had to go through what seemed to be a storage room which really wasn't clear especially in the dark and in our confused state it would have been quite dangerous had there been a real fire .

I stay here regularly because the money you pay for this hotel makes it great value for Paris - although the prices fluctuates wildly throughout the year. Best bits about this hotel - all staff are very friendly and welcoming - except one who appears occasionally and is comically grumpy - I am not sure whether he is doing it ironically though - anyway he makes me laugh The Bar staff - one is particular is great - offers good service and they have a nice bar inside and outside Also great breakfast - clean spacious rooms - it’s not flash but just very functional - good area location nice restaurants - really good coffee and lots of selection of good food - strangely addictive sausages They’re consistently good - I have stayed here at least 5 times over the last few months and keep coming back

The hotel was lovely 4 star. They upgraded our room as my boyfriend requested romantic stay our first trip to France. The staff are amazing especially the girls they are so helpful, welcoming we got there advice on local site and our visit to Disneyland. We also had breakfast one morning it was good lots of choice. There is bar in middle of hotel which is cute and outside area with large sofas for those who smoke. Definitely recommend this hotel if you are planning trip to Paris. Thank you.

We purchased a Travelzoo Voucher that included 4 nights and breakfast at Hotel Romance. We loved our time there. It's a European Hotel so do not expect large American sized rooms. Our bed was two twins pushed together (also very common), we didn't even notice while sleeping and dare I say prefrred having our "own" space. . The bathroom/shower was a good size! The location, while seemingly out of the way, looking just at a map, is actually really great. We walked to the Arc de Triomphe, to Monmartre and took the Malesherbes Metro which was located a short walk away, just about everywhere. The Staff is really lovely, they have 24 hour desk service which is good because you leave your key with them when you go out. Much preferred as it was one less thing to carry. The breakfast options were plentiful and delicious, and the dining area was adorable. We've already booked our next stay back next March.

The hotel location is very good, very close to the Arc de Triomphe, a five minute walk to the subway station can also take a direct bus to and from Charles de Gaulle and Orly Airport. Facilities breakfast also fully reached the four-star standard, the gym is relatively small. The front desk is more enthusiastic. There is a little brother who can speak Chinese, which makes communication more convenient.

Good location, nearby Carrefour, franprix and other supermarkets! I live on the 2nd floor facing the street, and it is very quiet at night, but the sound insulation between the room and the room is really average. The room is not large and has a balcony (not every room, so it is best to leave a message to tell the room with a balcony when booking) ), There is also a door in the bathroom sharing a balcony with the room, so the balcony is quite large. The hotel only provides shampoo, shower gel and hair dryer. Slippers, toothbrushes and toothpaste are not provided, so it is recommended to bring your own toiletries. Lines 7 and 10 are only 5 minutes' walk from the surrounding area. Line 4 is about 15 minutes away. The 5th district is a Latin area, surrounded by universities, so it is safe! The hotel has access control locks, staff need to help open the door to enter! Breakfast is an ordinary western-style breakfast, bread, milk, eggs, oatmeal, sausage and cheese. A tax of 1.88 euros per person per night, which must be paid to the front desk when checking out. This Ctrip will also call you when you are in China to inform you that this tax must be paid to the hotel separately! The hotel provides free wlan, but the Internet speed is average, the room has air conditioning and heating. In short, the price is high!

Stayed at the B&B hotel for three nights while visiting Disney. Anyone looking for a cheap place to stay this is perfect. Hotel is spotlessly clean, really friendly staff, good sized rooms with comfortable beds and shower room. The hotel serves a simple dinner of pasta or pizza which is great, easy to order and quick to come. Breakfast is simple but just want you need at the start of the day. Tables were cleared quickly and everything very clean and presented well. We were worried about the shuttle overcrowding but there are a few services which only run from the B&B hotel and others which go to the other four hotels on the complex which makes it easy. We always got on a bus even if it was busy and never had to wait long! Lockers are available to store luggage if your arrive before your room is ready or check out early. We will be back on our next disney trip!

For the first time in a hotel model, the century-old building is said to be a historical cultural relics protection unit in Paris, so it is completely banned. My old cigarette can only smoke in a small yard. Miss Luo is very enthusiastic, let us have the feeling of going home. There is a black guy in night shift who speaks Chinese very well. He said that he read a book in Guangzhou. In the morning, the girl named Marty also speaks Chinese. There is no problem at all, and at the same time give us a lot of advice on the tour, much stronger than those that are not reliable. It is very convenient to exit the subway 50 meters away. This area is a safe place for French people to live in. The room is big enough to be the floor-to-ceiling glass window in Europe. Our bedroom is very close to the yard, so the living room is a bit noisy. It is highly recommended to add a Chinese breakfast. It is really not suitable for those cheese breads, and it is better to have Chinese TV. If you have the opportunity to come back to Paris, you will still come to the Paris Residence.

Myself and my teenage daughter stayed here for 3 nights 22/7 - 25/7. Please bear in mind that the hotel had only just reopened after Coronavirus restrictions. The positives:- Super clean. Comfy beds with memory foam pillow and normal pillow. Near to metro station. Near to supermarket and shopping area. Bercy village on the doorstep with a range of restaurants offering different cuisines and many bars. Safe neighbourhood. We didn’t have the breakfast so can’t comment on that. Good double glazed sound proof windows. The negatives:- Small room size and bathroom (but this is typically European). The safe is located on the floor which is not easy to access given the tight space of the room or the lighting to see to the back of the safe. Shower floor can be slippery when wet so be careful when getting out. The toilet had a weak flush (may have been just our room 723). No fridge (beware of leaving food or drink in your room on a hot day). It was hot when we were there so we had to leave the air con on all day to keep our food and drink cool. This can’t be cost efficient for the hotel. One of the two lifts was being replaced. As I said earlier, we stayed just after it had reopened so here a few other suggestions that may be helpful during post Covid (but not normal conditions). Housekeeping are only cleaning the rooms every 2 days. So make sure you ask for fresh towels every day. There is a notice stating this on the reception desk but when you are busy checking in and are tired from travelling you may not notice it like we didn’t. It would have been helpful if reception staff actually told us this at check in stage. There wasn’t any tea/coffee makings in the room due to virus restrictions so we had to ask for a kettle. (We bought our own cups and tea etc as thought this might be the case). Tips:- Get a room on the street side of the hotel with a balcony if possible. The other side has views of a railway line and station.
