0.69km from Stara KolibaWe were group of ten friends staying in Male stepenice for three nights. It was simply so nice stay that I have to write this review! From first moment ( reservation through their web page and Viber) I had contact with Mrs. Marija ( young and professional owner). She replied my e-mail instantly ( it was guite late in the night) and afterward we continued communication through Viber. Photos of rooms and whole place are true and new ( place is brand new). Very clean and well organized double and triple rooms with good facilities ( have everything you need during your stay). Bathrooms are, also, well equiped with plenty of hot water. Airconditioned ( both cooling and heating). We stayed the end of November and rooms were very warm all the time! Location is top! Close to many restaurants and clubs in Old part of Belgrade but around the corner in a very quiet street..upstairs (20m) and short walk to Knez Mihajlova street, Kalemegdan etc. But cherry on a cream is Mrs. Marija☀️🌹 We arrived by three cars and Mrs. Marija organized parking for more than a reasonable price at center of Belgrade She is so friendly and professional that I have no doubt she is one of best landladies I ever met! And I travelled a lot...I strongly recommend Male stepenice as well as Belgrade as ,quality time with friends’ destination!!! Wishing you good luck with hospitality business and many great customers ! Thank you Marija 💐

0.95km from Stara KolibaOur first time in a Mama shelter hotel....We enjoyed Belgrade as a city destination, and the experience was only added to by staying at a super hotel. It,s relaxed ,casual atmosphere is backed up by superb, professional staff. Each and everyone, from bar staff, waiters, reception, cleaners all, without exception went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. In these difficult times, all staff wore masks, and the covid precautions were adhered too,but it did not alter the great vibe around the hotel. The rooftop bar was a great spot, the food was very good. Breakfast was of a very good standard, with plenty of choice. The hotel is in a great location, in the bohemian quarter of the city, numerous bars, restaurants and shops within minutes walking. Thank you Mama shelter.....keep up the good work, hopefully we will pay a return visit !!!

0.97km from Stara KolibaThe hotel is located in the new city, next to the big shopping center, very close to the Djokovic restaurant, it is also very convenient to go to the old town, the bus at the entrance of the hotel can be reached in 5 minutes. The hotel can rent bicycles for 15 euros a day, and it is a good choice to visit Zemun on the Danube. The rooms are large, and the large floor-to-ceiling windows can also watch the sunset. The rooms are many times better than most hotels in the old town. I recommend staying in the old town for one night and staying here.
0.97km from Stara KolibaWe stayed for 6 days.It is the best location for travellers. Close to the park and the fortress, next to many restaurants and bars, but also a safe place. The rooms are renovated, we had a spacious room with a smart 55 in. Tv. The only negative thing was the housekeeping, we asked twice to change our sheets and the second time they only change one of them..we asked for an extra pillow twice but never had it. Special thanks to all the receptionists, they were very king, although their manager did not respect our privacy and entered our room without knocking or asking for our permission... we shared all these with the reseptionist who kept apologising but the manager never appeared..In case you are European citizens you are not able to make phone calls from the reception or the room to your country, not even if you are willing to pay.
0.97km from Stara KolibaIts really nice hotel and very good location in city center of Belgrade. Actully, it's small hotel but clean and comfortable. Rooms are well designed, they have comfortable bed, its quiete even that its located in center. Breakfast its very good and tasty. Its very important that staff its nice and very polite. The price is reasonable for the conditions that this hotel offers.

1km from Stara KolibaFirst of all, it must be said that the location is very good. There are convenience stores and currency exchanges not far from the downstairs. Walk to the Republic Square for about ten minutes. Finally, let's talk about the hotel. The heating in the hotel is very warm. The bed I live in is two. A bed of a bed, I have nothing to do with Ma Ma, the bathroom is a little narrow but enough for two girls, the bathroom shower is very good, the place to take a bath towel is actually heating, the bath towel is also very warm, this point Great, the type of breakfast is very basic, basically OK, because the taste and service are still very good. Service staff are basically smiling and greet you, ask your needs! In summary, it is recommended that a friend with a medium-thick wallet stays at a good value, and a friend with a thick wallet is better off choosing a net-red hotel or a star-rated hotel! PS. No fitness room is a part that I think is relatively inappropriate.
1.03km from Stara KolibaI stayed in this hotel for exactly a week and I was satisfied. The hotel is conveniently located at a walking distance to Knez Mihailova, the high street of Belgrade. It is also a ten minute walk from the central bus station, so day trip from Belgrade can be accessed in a short time. The room was clean but the hotel and its amenities are very old. Some of the sheets and towels were torn and the faucets were very old. This hotel was built in 1923 but has not been renovated since the 1960s. It is clear when you enter the lobby. You feel like you're on the setting of a movie set at those times. I found it quite exotic. The lift is definitely from the 1960s and sometimes it stops midway. One of the best things about the hotel was the breakfast. First, the timing is very good. They begin serving at 6am, which I haven't seen other hotels beginning that early. The options are a lot and there is a chef doing omelette to your liking. I was happy with my stay and would also recommend it.
Hotels Near Jakovljevic Taverna In Belgrade Review
The hotel is located in the old town and is very convenient for travel. The hotel's rooms are warm and comfortable, with white wooden floor-to-ceiling windows and a small balcony with iron railings overlooking the street view below. The surrounding restaurants and supermarkets are fully equipped. It is a 10-minute walk to the Grand Duke Street of Mihailo. The front desk staff is very warm and friendly. When you check out, you can also call a taxi to the airport. It is also only 15 minutes walk from the hotel to the bridge over the Danube River that connects the new Old Town. The bakery on the right hand side of the hotel can provide a rich Serbian breakfast (various breads, burgers, milk, yoghurt, coffee...), 2 minutes walk to the corner of the street and a pizza shop, the pizza is oversized and tastes super Thumbs up! It is worth a visit. The overall evaluation of the hotel is very good!
I just returned from a 5-night stay at this property. I'd describe it as a mixed bag. Not sure of hotel rating criteria there--I'd hardly class this as 4*. On the positive side-- 1. There's no better a location in Belgrade--it's right on Republic Square--walking distance to just about everything of interest in Belgrade. Restaurants, shopping, money exchange--all abundant and within steps. 2. The staff were also courteous and helpful. 3. Room was neat and clean all the time. On the negative side-- 1. It's on the 5th floor of an old office building--had I not read about this in previous reviews, I'd never have known. Fortunately, the cabbie knew the place, and pointed it out to me from where he dropped me. 2. Two tiny elevators operate most of the time. When I checked out yesterday, only one was working. There is a staircase that wreaks of cigarette smoke. No smoking in the hotel proper--but the old building's staircase isn't part of the hotel. 3. Traveling solo, I needed only a single room. Not sure how many they have, but the one I got was a double sold as a single. Tiny room, occupied almost entirely by a double bed. There was perhaps half a meter on one side of the bed--the other side was firmly against a wall. There was a little table/desk with a mini-fridge under it, and beside it, a closet that included a safe. There was perhaps an 80cm passage between foot of bed and these two pieces of furniture. Only place to open a trolley was on the unused side of the double bed. I think they should have furnished this room (519) with a twin bed, and left a bit of room to move around. There was a bathroom with shower stall, and plenty of hot water. No ridge or rubber gasket under the shower door, so water flooded the entire bathroom floor. 4. Contrary to the TripAdvisor listing, there IS NO free breakfast UNLESS IT'S PAID FOR. That means IT ISN'T FREE! And it's not in-house at all, but at a coffee shop on ground floor of building. 5. In an email exchange just before my arrival, I asked if room had a pot for water and coffee-tea; I was told there would be a pot and tea. True to their word--a couple of tea bags and packets of sugar--but no coffee. I asked about coffee--nada; I asked about a bit of milk for the coffee--I was told there was a grocery a few doors up the street, How much would it have cost them to put a few instant coffee packets and a 500cc box of milk in the room? Pennies! I have deliberated whether to class it as 'average' or 'very good'--it's somewhere in between. Were I to return to Belgrade, would I also return to this hotel? Maybe.
As a couple we spend some relaxing days in Belgrade. This time we chose the brand-new Hotel Centar No.1. This hotel has a prime location, just a few steps from Knez Mihajlova street. The rooms are tastefully and minimalistically furnished, and I liked the double large windows overlooking the central Republic Square. The staff members were very friendly, we enjoyed great breakfasts in the cozy dining room atmosphere. Since it is difficult to get a hotel with a parking space in the center of Belgrade, we were very pleased that the Centar No.1 hotel has its own parking lot not far from the hotel (close to Skadarlija). Private parking space is reserved only for the guests of the hotel and very well secured. We were very excited about the hotel and will definitely stay at Center No.1 next time we visit Belgrade.
We just wandered in for coffee. Lovely building and the service/food was excellent. Glad to find non smoking area inside. Piano was playing. It was a busy Saturday afternoon so we were lucky to find a seat. I think reservations would be advised.
Courtyard? Still a home upgrade? 700 yuan does not contain breakfast, stayed for five nights, regret it. The surrounding environment is good. The location is very clean, the room is very clean, the hardware is very poor, such as the upgraded version... Not worth the price. Low price, no change of bath towels, bed sleep for three nights without changing sheets and quilt cover, water does not give. The shower room design is very problematic, the water is all scattered outside, the toilet button is behind the toilet lid, wonderful, very poor ...
I visited Zira twicely - in September and October 2020. Both times the experience was fantastic! The best service and food ever! The staff are very lovely, attentive, helpfull and accomodating. Room was impeccable clean and fabulous. Receptionist Rade, guys from F&B and especially HK staff are all very professional and great to deal with. I would definitely book ZIRA again and would recommend to anyone planning to visit Belgrade. Thank you for the best stay.
