This is a great and welcoming hotel, my home for traveling alone in Delhi. Next to it is McDonald's and some pizza snack bars. It is very convenient to travel, the pool break at night is also great for blowing hair, and there is a beautiful scarf in the shopping street in the hotel. The breakfast was superb and the solo traveler was really well taken care of.

It’s not too good. Other friends recommended me to live. The female dormitory has a separate bathroom. Many foreigners live in this house. I stayed for 4 days and the roommates who happened to be staying in were all Germans. My friends would often gather in the courtyard to chat, or chat on the top floor of yoga, or watch TV in the lobby. There is a kitchen where you can cook your own meals. Three meals are also available in the hotel. It costs Indian meals so I haven’t tried it. The service staff is very nice, and it feels like a university dormitory. Stayed for a few days and it was very relaxing. There is a subway station nearby, making it easy to go anywhere.

Staff were all friendly but few spoke any English. On the old scale this would be a 2 and a half star hotel. For the 7 nights I stayed there, I only met one Caucasian guest. The majority were young Indian men in their 20s or 30s, with a few appearing to be in their 40s. The breakfasts and occasional dinners I ate in the dining room were basic Indian food. Breakfast also included optional toast and/or cereals, plus a single choice of cut fruit. A pot of Masala tea was available ***** with instant coffee bags and tea bags. The bed was comfortable and clean and the bathroom was clean with a good shower, although water temperature was warm, at the hottest. The room surfaces were clean but tired, as was the paint work. TV was available with a few English speaking channels. Room had an electric jug and mugs, tea and coffee bags and sugar plus powdered creamer. There was no fridge. The hotel is on a busy road, with a slip road providing easy access. It is about 400 metres (6 minute walk) from the Greater Kailash Metro station. Useful for getting around and only 35 minute taxi or Uber drive from the airport. The nearest shopping area is Nehru Place, 1 Metro stop away. However best shopping and safest food supplies are better sourced at a major supermarket, in any of the malls scattered around New Delhi. There is an excellent restaurant across the road (Pind Baluchi) in the Fabhotel JK.

During the past Diwali weekend, I was out partying with friends at the SDA market and after getting a bit sloshed we needed a place to crash in and play some cards at since it was the Diwali season so someone from our group recommended this hotel and we decided to go ahead with it. I haven’t stayed at and experienced a lot of hotels in Delhi but this was a pretty decent stay for the night and the amenities were upto the mark. The room was clean and really tidied up well and was perfect to host 5 people for the night. The place had a fast wifi connection which is a necessity more than a luxury nowadays and helpful staff even at late hours. The best thing I liked about this hotel was the greenery it had, after all it was located in one of the poshest colonies of Delhi. I’d love to crash here again sometime and utilise it to the fullest!

Stayed for a night at this fantastically located property and the experience was pleasant. I found the staff to be courteous and cooperative, the room service to be prompt and orderly, the food was okay too. The overall ambience is very decent. Although the rooms are a little small but it was pretty peaceful and comfortable. The toilet was neat and clean with all the essentials in place. The linen was fresh. I just found the mattress to be rather springy with a tendency to sink in a bit. I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone on a budget and looking to stay in a good area in proper Delhi.

This was my 2nd visit to this hotel. I booked it as never had any complaints so far. A major concern was a cellular network in interior rooms. I was given room 207 which was having absolutely no coverage at all. Wi-fi was also hard working, however; it was informed that it was a network issue on the whole GK1 area, which was partially true. Moreover, finally being pissed off, I changed room at midnight and got a front facing room with a proper window. and I finally got the full network average. Yes, the breakfast was made complementary to co****sate. Breakfast was average, could not a complaint about it. This was my 2nd-time stay.

The plus of this hotel, it is by far the staff. The reception always keen to assist in every request. Special thanks to Rakesh. All of them truly polite, and helpful. At breakfast always smiling. Although our original request was for a quite room on top floors, when we were checking-in the previous guest on the designated room for us extended his stay. So we were upgraded in a spacious and pretty room. Always remember to ask for rooms on the back side, otherwise there is a lot of noise from horns coming from the main street almost all day long. On the second day we were transferred in a quite room. Check out was on early hours. We had a breakfast bag on the go, as requested (omelette, sandwich, water) Drawback : Poor wifi reception on the back room. The bathroom (in both rooms) should be in a better condition. Hotel ***agement please pay attention on that. Ventilation is absolutely necessary for the bathrooms in all rooms!!

We booked our room here based on the reviews and it did not disappoint. We arrived at around 1.30am having flown from the UK and needed a base close to the station to go to see the Taj Mahal the next morning (7am departure). One of Ajay's team was up to greet us. There was fruit in our room and cold bottled water in the fridge. The room was clean and comfortable. The water heater had been run so we could have a hot shower and although I didn't sleep much, that wasn't their fault! A UK to India plug adapter was left on the side and there was working air con - a godsend! The next morning Ajay come to see us on our way to the station. He showed us the way and gave us advice on which platform the train would be on. The road itself is clean and safe and it is only 5 minutes from the station and 10 minutes from Humayun's tomb. That night, we wanted a takeaway and Ajay ordered our Dominos for us including chasing it up when it was running late! He had a beer put on ice for us to help us sleep! On our check-out day, we said we wanted to go to the tomb before the airport and he very kindly sent me a WhatsApp message with directions, map points, Tuk Tuk prices (useful for when they tried to overcharge us) but he also recommended us visiting Ghandi's assassination spot which we hadn't realized was there or achieveable in the time we had. When we go back he ordered our taxi and packed us on our way. The host really does make this place - he was so kind to us and so genuine. Also, have the Indian eggs and paratha for breakfast... I've neve had such tasty eggs! I hope to come back with my family in the future as this was a work trip, catching some tourism at the start before the work started. My colleague echoes my sentiments here too! Thank you Ajay and team!

I booked to stay at this hotel for the first time during a recent business trip in Delhi. I chose the place primarily because it was recommended our associate who is lives in Delhi. And I loved the place. Its very centrally located, right next to a metro station. The place is perfect for business travelers. The rooms are very nice, clean, well maintained, recently done up, comfortable and decent pricing. I had booked with breakfast and it was sumptuous. Limited to 4 -5 items, but all good tasty fare. For the 3 days I had breakfast there, I tried eggs and paratha's. The restaurant in the lobby area is perfect for a quick drink with colleagues and we did that at least once or twice. They also have a great boardroom for business meetings and we made good use of that. The price offered was awesome as it included tea/coffee snacks and lunch for the attendees. The gym was closed due to the pandemic so I could not use it and that was a big regret. Overall the staff is taking good precautions for Covid-19 situation and I was happy with that preparedness. Made me feel comfortable and safe

I met the nicest people in this hostel. The rooms were great it was similar to living in a aparmtne full of strangers who became family. There was hot water and no problem in waiting for an empty restroom. The rooms were in good conditions and the food was amazing! The patio upstairs has a great view and you can sit and relax either on the swing, the fake grass, or on the top of the roof where you can see the Qutub Minar. The view was breathtaking and peacful. IT is also a great work place for someone who is trying to find a quiet place. I will definitly reecom***d. The price is perfect also for back pkacers and about a 20min drive from the airport. Well clearly this hotel didn't stand close to our expectations. We had spoken to even the ***ager by name of Mr. Siddharth, didn't lead us anywhere till ***y days. This is what we could make out from our few days stay here - PROS - 1) good location , prisitne property, spacious rooms. 2) good location, pristine property, spacious rooms. 3) good location, pristine, property, spacious rooms. CONS - 1) egoistic and shrewd stuff. Will argue with you if it comes down to it and never saw anyone smiling here. 2) no help with luggage, we had to help ourselves. And if you don't want to use mini-bar be prepared they will take out all the stuff from it and take it. 3) not at all trust-worthy, they made an unauthorized transaction and charged our credit card for twice the amount. Didn't even bother checking until we informed them after 4 days for the same. 4) staff is lazy, disinterested when you speak or want to ask them. 2 out of 3 times we called and the person at front desk wasn't even aware if there is a ***ager on duty or not. In short there is nothing to this property except for it's location. Whether you stay in the normal room or an 11,000Rs room. You think that would make a difference but it really does not. In the end there were selective times when we got a response from them and when they chose to not reply. The feeling you have when you arrive at a hotel and you feel safe, warm and happy to have reached is entirely missing here. If you see good reviews on Booking.com please don't fall for it. We had a hard time and seriously we did not choose this property to save money. We did spend a good amount and still faced such unfortunate incidents that we are sadly not forgetting anytime soon. Be the smart one, don't choose this hotel!

I wonder where the excellent reviews for this hotel have come from but they definitely do not reflect the real state and situation at the hotel! The moment i reached this hotel with my family, i had a sinking feeling. Painting work was going on, the corridor was filled with junk and was extremely dirty. The room was stuffy and smelled of paint. I had to change room but the stuffiness and dirt were still around. The reception lady was ok but the rest of the staff are very unprofessional! Cleaning is hardly done...bathroom was disgusting. For two consecutive evenings, we didn't get hot water also! But worst of all, when we checked out from hotel at midnight to catch our flight, our bedsheet was brought down to reception area and we were claimed Rs500 for juice spills! Our small children were sleeping in our arms and our taxi was already here and they waited for the last minute to de***d laundry charges for a few drops of juice spilled inadvertently on the bedsheet by my kids! Such a humiliating experience. I have been to quite a few hotels but that was the first time i was de***ded laundry charges!! The most disgusting hotel and hotel staff!

I had the chance to stay twice at this hotel while in New Delhi. The city was the start & finish point for the Golden Triangle experience. The first experience was a bit average, due to the fact that the AC was not working and it was a bit cold. The staff provided a heater, but I was a bit disappointing with this. However on my second experience was 100% better. Everything was working. So I'll put the first experience as a "it can happen". Other than this, the room is large and comfortable and the restaurant has a very good food with very large portions. It also has a good location, since it's about 1h from the airport, and you don't want to stay in the middle of New Delhi if you have a flight to catch :))

I stayed at the Shervani Nehru Place hotel for over a week and had a wonderful experience. The staff was exceptional. I was in town for a wedding and they helped me find a place to rent the Indian outfits I needed and even had a driver stay with me so I wouldn't get lost in the market where the shop was located. The daily breakfast was delicious, If there was something I really loved, they would make it special for me even if it wasn't being served that day. If you want to sightsee, they have drivers you can hire through the hotel that are trustworthy, professional and reliable. You can even take a day trip to Agra to see the Taj Mahal through the hotel. It's also a set price, which is nice because you don't have to haggle with them or worry about being overcharged. In addition, you can arrange to have a driver pick you up from the airport in advance for a great price. Although the rooms are pretty basic, the location in South Delhi is great, you will be safe and taken good care of.

*Stayed here for 2 nights, 2021.02.17-2021.02.19 When people choose places like "Posh"tel. You guys should know people pay extra for the hassle free and smooth experience. I asked for a simple document that foreigners all need post-pandemic which is very simple one that I never had issues getting from previous stays within 5mins from request. It is something that has to be there right after a foreigner checks in. I asked for it 4 times gently. The moment I checked in(the first day of stay), the next day again which they said will be there till 9pm which wasn't the case. On The final day we were checking out, I asked at breakfast time for the 3rd time as it wasn't still there and they ensured me that it will be there before I check out(11am), which was again unfortunately neglected. I finally had to put out my unusual tension to push everyone at the site to the corner to get what I needed to be done. (potentially you can be denied checking in to your next accommodation if you don't bring it properly after pandemic.) So I had to finally call the property ***ager and what he said in the beginning is that "our place don't provide C-form the document". When I asked multiple times and heard it will be sent soon before. Is it an unofficial or illegal place to stay? Even Rs300 cheap OYOs were fine to provide it anytime upon request and you guys say we don't do that. Haha. What kind of guests are you actually targeting to. One more thing. They said on website that Balcony is available and when checking in they were proud to say it is balcony. Do you guys really know the definition of balcony in a ok-decent place. Really hate to preach but it is called "(common) corridor". I am sure people staying in this place don't need that kind of stupidity and lack of attendance. Get your things done right. And foreign fellows out there, just watch out.

Pretty noisy with the traffic hooting and dogs barking/howling but we got a good nights sleep with earplugs. As we were very much passing through we didn't get to explore the area and ate in the hotel - dining room ambience was a bit limited but the food was very good: basic home-cooked and great value although you might have to wait a bit.
