The hotel is really small, a bit disappointing. I booked a two-night, two-bedroom apartment. I want to try to discuss with the manager whether I can only stay for one night. After a fruit, a uncle who wears a tattered vest, shorts, and unbridled is a manager, then speaks. It is also very rude, the attitude is too good, and the words are rude and can not directly say no. There are only 9 rooms, in the mountains, black and dark at night, our 4 women, do not dare to go out at night. There are two beaches near the hotel. It takes more than 15 minutes to walk, and we meet weekends. Many locals gather for dinner, drink, and we go to the beaches in the afternoon. All the way to the big local men, a little scared, go On the beach, I saw two European and American girls in swimsuits, and a group of men who drank alcohol, they left, and the hotel was in a good environment, the room was very comfortable, and the surrounding environment was really bad. Looking at the sea view on the mountain, but the geographical environment is really bad, travel dudu, only suitable for staying in the hotel all day~ Breakfast is an order, it is quite rich, the staff are male, except for the so-called manager, the attitude is very good. Will not stay again

The view is great and breathtaking during sunset. They keep the hotel premises and garden clean. But when entering to the hotel, we feel like its an isolated/neglected place. Path is broken and both sides covered with ugly trees and bushes. No one to look at until we park and go to the reception. People park the vehicles wherever they want blocking other vehicles (we had to wait nearly half an hour to move our vehicle because someone was blocking it).We got a deluxe room with pool access. The bathroom design is so stupid and uncomfortable design. Rooms are not nice as the photos they have posted in web. Room amenities are ok but furniture and design of the room looks cheap. There is a very small staff. They looked like some random people found for day pay. Restaurant has no proper AC. We were sweating while having meals. There was only one guy to serve us who is not even wearing a mask. Special thank should go to the Chef. He had arranged very tasty food for the limited budget(we heard how they discuss the meal budget and all. They were too noisy and disturbing). Meal quantity is really small. Took longer time to serve. However next day breakfast was a buffet which was better. Rooftop is flooded when raining. Such a beautiful view is wasted. Elevator is out of service and we have to climb 4 floor to the restaurant. (this was reported in other reviews posted long ago). Such a beautiful location is wasted due to mismanagement.

Thank you for professional cooperation at the stage of preparing the trainings for dentists on 21.04-07.05.2022 and handling the event. I would like to express my thanks and appreciation to your entire team, and especially to Mr. Sydney. I must emphasize the excellent preparation of the organization and professional service. He flexibly reacted to emerging situations, often exceeding our expectations. Unplanned room changes, additional training rooms or unexpected changes in schedules found great understanding and immediate action. His highly developed interpersonal skills and knowledge of customer service resulted in excellent and effective cooperation with us, ensuring the highest quality of event service. As a customer, I am convinced that he is a great asset to your team and I believe that his managerial skills and attitude benefit your company. We were captivated by the hospitality and friendliness of the entire staff. Special thanks go to the masterchef who every day planned various and delicious meals for us, both in European and Sri Lankan versions, and to Mr. Ravi who helped us when we needed it. Huge applause to the general manager that he was able to gather such a wonderful and committed team in one place. His personal participation had a huge impact on our positive assessment of the organization of this event. The high standards of service we experienced will remain in our memory for a long time. We have heard extremely positive opinions from the participants of our trainings regarding both the facility and the service provided. If you are planning a holiday, business meetings, training or a conference in Sri Lanka, I highly recommend to stay at the Thaproban Pavilion Hotel. It is a beautiful and distinctive facility located in an unusual place. I am convinced that we will return soon during the next foreign training courses in this region of the world. Best regards to the entire hotel team, thank you once again for a wonderful time. You wonderfully complement the pleasant experiences of beautiful Sri Lanka. I wish you a lot of success! Adrian

A super hotel with good facilities and a good location. The buffet breakfast is comparable to the standard of lunch and dinner. The hotel’s open-air saltwater swimming pool is clean and buoyant. It faces the sea and makes waves. It’s amazing. The family suite we stayed in, open the skylight, the sun shines in, it is too comfortable.

The best holiday with this hotel 💕 Rest from 23.10.23 to 02.11.23 and here it was perfect. The staff is the best, in everything will help(call tuck-tuck, solve the question, to tell something), waiters wau (Chaminda ❤️), the cooks are perfectly prepared, everything is very delicious, cleaning the rooms super 🙌🏼 Looks and location are chic, walking can reach 3 beaches, free transport from the hotel to the most favorite Jangle beach, very close to the street with restaurants and shops, but at the same time you are in nature 🌱 Burundukki, monkeys, mangusts, Iguana, but you can not experience, They do not cross your personal boundaries 😁 Hotel is small and it is very comfortable, for you always there will be a place 🙌🏼 We will always go back there and I advise all that you also visit Paradise ✨ Another great thank you to the staff, you are wonderful 🥰 (Chaminda ❤️, Kavinga ❤️, Sandaka ❤️, Ranjith ❤️)

The hotel is a 5 to 8 minute walk from the busier beach end of the road, making it a quiet hotel which we really appreciated. The sunset from the hotel is wonderful and you can see Galle Lighthouse in the distance. All of the staff are exceptionally helpful and friendly. The rooms are well kept and housekeeping come every day, even if you ask in the evening. All rooms have A/C and a mini fridge, you are also provided with 2 bottles of water each day. There are tea and coffee making facilities. There's a good shower, with toiletries available if needed. There is fresh fruit and juice , pancakes, cereal and English breakfast with eggs of your choosing each day. A couple of days an Sri Lankan breakfast was offered. There are tuk tuks nearly always just outside the hotel, prices in Unawatuna and Galle are much higher here than other locations in SL. To get to Galle is 500 to 600 rupees, the lowest we found was 400. To Mirissa is 4000 but you'll be able to get back for 1500. There is a small pool with an outside bar looking over the sea. There are plenty of sunbeds and the pool is often quiet during the day. The only comment I would have is that the pool could be a little cleaner. It's by no means terrible and I still used the pool happily. The last couple of days the water did look a little murky compared to the previous 12 days, but the staff were aware and trying to rectify the problem. All in all an excellent stay for a good price.

We can not say enough good things about our stay at this beautiful boutique hotel. The entire staff was welcoming and attentive to details. We arrived at 3:00am and the hotel had prepared some fruit and sandwiches for our arrival. My wife is celiac and the staff did an amazing job ensuring there were food options available for her. They even prepared traditional Sri Lankan food for us to try. The beach club gets very busy during the day but we still felt like the only guests there. This place has a great island vibe with music and different entertainment daily. We will definitely be returning before the end of our trip.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week long stay at Hotel Panorama. The bungalow was clean and spacious and the staff were very accommodating and friendly. The gardens and views looking down over the bay are gorgeous. But like all views from such a vantage point, has a hill to climb however this was not a problem and when we were being lazy, we just rung the bell at the gates and the staff drove the tuk tuk down to take us up. Breakfast: fruit, eggs etc, toast, tea or coffee and of course the Sri Lankan breakfast which I highly recommend. Lots of animals including monkeys and birds too see and of course, not forgetting the resident tortoises 😊 A lovely place to stay and I'd like to thank the staff for their kindness and hospitality

Stylish, quiet, colonial-style hotel surrounded by greenery, located in the heart of Unawatuna. The rooms have a large comfortable bed, the design of the rooms and the hotel as a whole is thought out to the smallest detail. ✨ The staff is very friendly and courteous. Among the additional options, you can pay for the hotel in rubles, according to the current exchange rate. It is also possible to purchase dollars for rubles, which is extremely convenient if such a need arises. A beautiful villa, the location is super, next to the main street, but from the sounds only nature ... a lot of living creatures: monkeys, peacocks, parrots, monitor lizards in the river, once saw a snake on the territory and a lot of chipmunks. Cleaning every two days, cleaned well, even too much (after moving to another hotel, they found that some things were missing - clothes), perhaps the hostess does not know and the cleaners steal, be careful!

Good breakfast, typical English breakfast, the room is quite good, it is a hotel level, there is an elevator, very close to the beach, two or three hundred meters. The only thing that was uncomfortable was that Ctrip gave a house on the first floor. The house was particularly bad. There was one on the first floor, next to the kitchen, and the room was not well ventilated. However, the hotel service is not bad, and the cleaning is clean.

Big loft with kitchen, amazing huge terrace to watch the sunset from. View on Unawatuna coast. In the jungle, a bit far from the center and the sea (10’ walk) but totally worth it. Keerthi and sujeewa are the nicest people we’ve met in Sri-Lanka (and all Sri-Lankans are very nice!), very helpful with everything and breakfast was delicious. Everything perfect, but if you are afraid of squirrels or open spaces in the jungle maybe you’d better stay by the seaside. If you love nature, want to wake up with birds singing, that’s the best place you can go in Unawatuna!! So sad to leave..

The main asset of this place is the staff. Everything. What was not noted when booking was the lack of glass in the windows. They are closed with decorative wooden shutters, as the hotel is decorated in a traditional style. But opening these shutters means listening to all the sounds that you can already hear quite well, and in the evening mosquitoes will fly in. Some people won’t notice, but I was in a small room with no windows, and without daylight it wasn’t very good. The mattress was comfortable. The breakfasts are good. The hotel team is pulling out all the stops, but renovation of the rooms is already required))

The photos they publish from the hotel, from which they come, I pass through all those I think, and in none of them have it published room. I don't know what to say about this hotel, nor how to define it,, you see the right side, sure what you go to another, room size a small pellín, and very strange, has a mosquete, that, broken and extended, The mosquets are always collected on the top and it extends when you go to bed , looks like a fantasy room, but cutre, with window and terrace, clean, safe, telephone, The room has a glass on the top of the door, so it is going to light all night in the hall, the bathroom has a paint to be just changed , so it's okay, two windows outdoor you can't open for good ventilation, Because it has no crystals. bad ....It's all clean ... next to the sea ...... off the beach, the rest is quite chaotic ....cena, breakfast well, the best staff ...But this is a mosquito or a mosquito hunt .....

I visited Hotel J Unawatuna with a few of my friends, and we got two triple rooms with breakfast. It is a very calm and quiet place for a quick get-away. It is also located in an area where we could walk towards many restaurants and the Unawatuna Beach. The food we ordered from the hotel was really good and did pretty well with the quantity. The rooms that we got were spacious and clean (but the bathrooms could be a bit more cleaner). Even though they don't provide tea/coffee making facilities or water bottles in the room, as they do belong to Jetwing budget hotels, overall, the rooms, food, and service from the staff were second to none. I will certainly be staying here again!

Rested 10 days, everything was perfect! I didn't want to leave! The hosts were beautiful, attentive, kind people who surrounded us with care! Service was at the height, no such hotel ever met! Any questions were decided, whether everything was in order, whether anything else was needed. We booked an improved room with king size bed, room just excellent, spacious, clean, with balcony; bed is huge and very comfortable, there is everything for comfortable accommodation - air conditioner, ceiling fan, safe, fan, refrigerator, teapot, dishes, tig, big bathroom. Good Internet. They provided beach towels. The room was cleaned qualitatively, the clothes and towels changed. Breakfasts were excellent, coffee was very delicious! Several times ordered dinners (buyed their seafood and we prepared them). Dinner was excellent! From the hosts also received several presentations, it was very pleasant! When we left, we were called a taxi. From rest only positive emotions remained, liked everything!

It is estimated that the hotel is 50 meters away from the beach. You can see the sea view. Focus! There is a slope on the right hand side of the beach! The scenery there is so beautiful that I can't describe it in words. I am very fortunate to see the beautiful sunset! ! ! But on the day of the check-in, it is estimated that the sound of the weekend will continue until 3:30 in the morning. After I fell asleep, I didn’t know it. Hahaha.

It's hard to know where to start with this review. From the moment we booked the general manager sent me a personalised message. We arrived greeted by a refreshing cold towel and a tour of this beautiful hotel. We booked the grand suite for 8 nights and 9n entering it exceeded my expectations. The room is huge tastefully decorated spotlessly clean. The bathroom is beautiful and there is even a small kitchen area. The veranda overlooking the pool was a gret place to have our morning coffee. The grounds make you feel like you are in a tropical rain forest and the pool and separate jacuzzi are lovely. Breakfast was a delight and they adapted every morning to our tastes. All of the staff are amazing and friendly. And the general manager is so lovely greeting us personally every morning asking about our stay and if there is anything they can do for us. All the staff were a credit to this beautiful place. Ps the private beach is stunning feels like your on a tropical island. I wish our stay was not ending tomorrow. Would not hesitate to come back. Thank you for a wonderful stay and happy memories.

This kind of facilities and services are good at this price, the pillows are still down pillows, there is USB fast charging at the bedside, and the design of the room is very careful. Open the window to see the little squirrel, better than the five-star Amari we lived behind, good value for money, good service attitude

Adrian

Currently staying in Villa Gaetano this place is amazing.. Situated a short distance inland the location is perfect.. The family offer a complimentary tuk tuk service to Unawatuna and it is only 300 rps to get back.. The family who own the villa are lovely people and cannot help with your needs enough.. Food is delicious ( they even let my wife watch as part of a cooking demo) and delivered to your table outside your room.. I asked for a Scooter so we could get around.. They organised it.. In fact nothing was too much trouble. We stayed in the deluxe room option and it was ideal.. Please if you are looking to enhance your Sri Lankan experience give this place a visit you will not be disappointed.. We were only staying for 2 nights originally but extended as we are enjoying it so much.. Well done to the owners if I could give it more than 5 stars I would..

The hotel is small, it is a pair of father and daughter operating, there are only six or seven rooms, but the hotels along the road are almost the same. The room is large, the bath is large, and all the supplies are available. You can ask the little brother to have a hairdryer. Can't swipe, want cash. The hotel does not have a swimming pool. The beach in front of the hotel has a good ecological protection. Small crabs and hermit crabs can be caught everywhere. There are no rubbish on the beach. Foreigners are seen along the road. The water is fine and the photos are beautiful. There are many big crabs crawling up and down on the reef, and small fish swimming in the pool. The breakfast at the hotel is very expensive, the bread is a lot, it can't be eaten and wasted.

The villa is beautiful, big, 4 bedrooms with its / u, large clean pool, the territory is walking pavilions, 3 crab, monkeys come. Around silence, rice fields, a situation of complete privacy. Many dishes in the kitchen. I liked Dima very much, he lives in a nearby house, is engaged in the service of the villa, and very helped us that with the tuck, that with the search of the nearest restaurant/shop. There was also an incoming assistant who cooked us breakfast and we asked her to cook lunch for a dop. For the purchase of products, money was given separately. From the downsides, we have not cleaned up, and it seems that it should have done it by the assistant, but she did not. The floors were dirty, the towels were all wet and smelly, the towels for the feet in the showers were wet all 3 days, the garbage tanks in the toilets were not empty, the table was not washed, all in the flies. And in the kitchen there is no desire to cook, because everything is dirty and when you take a clean glass, you want to wash it again. As a result, the villa is cool, but lack of purity all spoils, perhaps it is a feature of local mentality, but for this money, it is better to give preference to the hotel
