Stayed here for one night to take a break from driving down to California from Seattle. The motel is pretty basic, but comfortable. Price was reasonable. Looks like the room has been recently renovated. Everything was clean, which I really appreciate. The room had a musty smell coming from the air conditioner. Like maybe some of the internal components were getting moldy. Someone had put an air freshener on the vent, but it didn't help very much. It didn't bother me much since I was only there for a few hours, but probably something that needs to be addressed. The location is excellent. Right in downtown Medford. A great little brew pub within walking distance. A really good breakfast restaurant next door.

We decided to stay at Budget Inn of America due to very late arrival and thus 24/7 reception, keeping in mind that our secondary focus was on price, as we want to stay just over the night. We were very pleased by room equipment, cleanliness and general very good value for money. If you are travelling and you want to stay for 1 night I can more than recomend the Budget Inn of America. :)

Being TA's currently best-rated hotel in Medford and more reasonably priced than most (~$130 total), this seemed like a good choice. My brother and I stayed for one night in October. While our overall experience was pretty good, I would say it's top ranking seems a bit overrated and was on par with what I would expect from a decent budget chain on a better day. Positives: Beds were comfortable. Room & location was quiet. Parking was conveniently right in front of each room. No bad odors inside. Big-screen TV was nice and the microwave & refrig were appreciated. While the breakfast options were quite limited the orange juice, hot coffee, scrambled eggs and waffles were reasonably tasty and the attendant did let us stay later than 9am when breakfast ends. Negatives: I was charged a few dollars more for the room than I was quoted online from Choice (the manager said corporate office doesn't know their exact pricing, which I found odd). There were obvious stains in the room carpet and the bathroom was not as clean as it should have been in a few places. Not a big deal but worth noting - the design of the bathroom counter makes it easy for things to fall into the toilet if you're not careful. The typical extra locks on our room door were removed (i.e.: chain, deadbolt) so it didn't seem quite as secure as other hotels I've stayed in, but we didn't have any trouble. Room furniture & decor was pretty spartan. No couch or chair to kick back in - just a basic utility table & 2 chairs. While the room did not have any bad odors, there was some smell of pot outside our room even though there are signs prohibiting smoking under the awnings. Overall, I think you get good value for the money here with no glaring faults, though I'm not sure why this location gets the #1 spot as there was really nothing stellar or exceptional about the service or amenities. Perhaps the average quality is so low in this area that anyone who does a decent job really stand out. Recommended if you don't need anything special and just want a good night's sleep.

ARR agent trying to help me lost my 7000 pts (enough for a night's stay). RR customer svc said we could get the pts back with a paid stay, so we complied & booked and they charged our CC. Then about an hr before our evening arrival, they called and said they had a plumbing problem with the room we were to be in and were already full... so essentially the message was "sorry, you had room and paid for it, but you are on the street" ... I was really upsee... really frightened. It was late. We were both very tired. Friends tried to help find us a place to stay. I was still working. David spent time and eventually found another place.... only $18 more out of our pocket for the last minute room. We had to get up earlier the next morning to get to the RR to stop and get them to refund our CC and get to the airport. I've tried to get RR to at least honor our agreement (esp after all the stress they caused us) and return my 7k pts and a few more pts to cover some fo the $18. Customer sv can't help. The computer and "Upper Mgt" make all the decisions. Now I've gotten a couple emails of apology that essentially say We don't care if you were a good customer for years. We don't care if you used to recommend us. We don't care about you (or probably anone else). You aren't worth a $50 gift card ( 7000pt plus 5000pts to recover part of the $18). We are still doing some traveling, but are truly disappointed in RedRoof. We can't rust them anymore. They don't care about us despite our good record witih them and our months long effort to repair this situation. Good customers are apparently worth NOTHING to them.

The front desk is very friendly. The hotel provides breakfast, lunch, dinner, and exquisite preparation. If you are tired of running out, you can go back to the hotel for dinner and rest, which is very convenient. The breakfast included in the accommodation fee can be ordered on your own, and the chef makes it much better than the average American standard breakfast. You can have a hot breakfast and feel good.

In early February when the Omicron variant was surging, lots of airlines were cancelling flights. Mine was cancelled so I called the hotel and interacted with a front desk supervisor who simply refused to give me her name (not sure why). I asked if i could shift my reservation to the following week. She was combative trying to find all sorts of reason why she couldn't make this change. She even said "well there are lots of reasons why i can't do this...." She finally agreed. 4 days later, I found out that one of the legs of my revised business trip were cancelled so I couldn't make it to Medford. Medford is not an easy city to get to. So I cancelled the reservation in accordance with the policy on the Hilton site. I received an email that there was no charge. Yet this hotel charged me anyway for a full night. I guess this hotel just makes up their own policies. But the disturbing part of this business is how combative and confrontational the employees seem to be. It's like they have instructions that it's Hampton vs the Customers and somebody is going to win. My request was reasonable. The situation was not my fault. I'm a very frequent traveler. I just can't explain the confrontation and lack of customer service. I did try to contact Ms Levesque the General Manager - it's now been 4 days and she still has not called me back. Apparently the customer service philosophy here starts at the top. I write this review because I think a business can only learn by listening to customers. And this hotel doesn't seem to want to listen.

One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at! The hot tub was outdoors but still was covered for people like me who like to go out to the hot tub even if it’s raining. They had a heated big pool as well for all the olympic swimmers out there. The rooms were spacious and it was overall a really great experience! Will definitely be going back to this hotel next time I’m in town!

Stay Report - 9/11 to 9/12 Location: The hotel is more aptly located in South Medford about 10 minutes from downtown and about 10 minutes from the MFR Airport.  It's just off I-5 and near to OR-99 so getting around the area is easy.  Annoyingly you can only make a right turn out of the hotel parking lot so you have to make a big nearly one mile square to get back to I-5.  Nearby are a number of chain and fast food restaurants and several other hotels. Hotel: The hotel is a very small SHS, more like a rural CY size.  It has a good sized parking lot though and a nice lobby and breakfast area plus pantry.  There's a fitness center and indoor pool (open but reservations required) but annoyingly only one elevator so waits can be long. Check In: A friendly agent thanked me for being Titanium and offered me points or a marketplace item. Room: Standard SHS room.  Living room and work area, small kitchenette with fridge and microwave, large and comfortable bed with outlets next to it, an InterneTV I was happy to find and the usual bizarre bathroom set up.  My only complaint was I had a 4 PM checkout and every 10 minutes housekeeping would knock to see if I'd left yet. Breakfast: Happy to find they had hot options though they were limited to scrambled eggs and sausage links and they had to be served by a hotel employee.   Overall a good hotel for this area.  I'd be back.

We wanted to have a romantic get away for a night. When we checked in at the hotel and went to our room there was a strong smell on ********* when we walked down the hallway. However, it was a ton stronger when we got to our room. The room with the connecting door the people were smoking ********* next door. We could care less about that. We just hate the smell and it was literally going into our room. When we called the desk to move to a different room, they said they had no other suites to move us too. They said they would move us to a regular room but did not offer any compensation for the room difference even after we asked. We asked to talk to a manager and we were told there was not one. When we went to talk to them in person They basically shrugged their shoulders and said sorry. There was also a manager standing there who swiftly ducked into the back office. Besides the smell, the 1980s decor needs improvement. The sunken in looking bed, ratty carpet, hot tub, and Formica cabinets in the kitchenette were a blast from the past. We can get over the need for a remodel. But, shame on you for your customer service or lack of. We walked out and went to another hotel. Maybe my “donation” of a nights stay can go toward your remodeling or training for customer service.

Called twice, spoke to day shift staff, and was assured: 1. Yes they do park & fly, yes 3 weeks ok if I book both ends of trip 2. No fee if I book both ends of trip 3. No need to book directly, can do on-line to get advantage of current promo. It was impressed upon me that I had to leave them a spare car key. Show up for stay and was told - no we can't do "park & fly" this weekend because of a baseball event, and their lot is too small. Also that there was no note on my reservation about park & fly. Manager denied all knowledge. I would have to park at the airport. Of course I hadn't written down who I talked to because it seemed so straightforward. Don't trust anything they promise about "park & fly". Other than that, the hotel is very clean and has no funky odors. Due to allergies I requested a pet-free room and was given one on top floor - relatively quiet. They are still doing buffet breakfast, unlike many who don't let customers near the food due to COVID. Not comfortable with this because most people didn't wear masks. Staff say masks are required, but it's not enforced.

Fabulous hotel for the money! Very clean, friendly staff and apologetic in terms of COVID....they told us the restaurant area was closed but there was a Food 4 Less literally a 2 minute walk from the front door. The room had every amenity we needed: fridge, microwave, coffee maker, iron and ironing board and hair dryer. After fixing the TV...life was excellent!! Also, there was supposed to have been a shuttle from the airport but it was not running on Thanksgiving night, so they called us a cab!!
