0.18km from Jean BologneTraveling solo, I wanted a secure facility that was in a well traveled area. I loved the location and price. I literally was able to walk in a direct line down one street to Eiffel Tower! And there is a restaurant attached and nearby shops for groceries, wine, bread, coffee, etc. I loved my little single room. It looked out on the street which I lvoed. Some people may find it too loud late at night or early in the morning but I didn't have an issue. I liked having the sounds. It does not have a 24 hour desk or regular desk hours that I could tell but the hotel was secure and I was able to get what I needed from staff.

0.62km from Jean BologneBooked with my sister as part of a Christmas present for my mother as we are so glad we chose this hotel, it was beautifully furnished and cosy, we all loved it! We stayed in room 105 which had a nice view of the street and Radio France, but the noise cancelling windows meant it was lovely and peaceful. Down the street were a range of beautiful restaurants, such as Dacoro 16 and Les Ondes, which were fabulous. Walkable distance from both the Eiffel Tower and Arc de Triumph, around 20 minutes or so, top of the tower could bee seen from our room too. Staff were so friendly and accommodating, and the breakfast was excellent. 24 hour reception was perfect for us due to our early flight back to Dublin. Would love to go back!

0.76km from Jean BologneVisited this hotel as a birthday treat for my birthday on the 3/2/20 . on Arriving at Charles de Gaul airport, got a taxi to this hotel, tip, write your hotel address on a card and give this to your driver, took about 45 mins, the prices are preset for the area, cost us €55 . The hotel is in a residential area, we were treated at the door, and our bags were taken to the room, the hotel receptionists are all lovely so helpful, and spoke English ! Our room was on the 5th floor , the rooms are small , but it’s what I expected in a city . There is free WiFi throughout the hotel, there is a tv, but couldn’t find anything in English . Tea and coffee making facilities are provided, but you only get sachets on your first day, so bring your own or buy some! Must say I was a little surprised by this, most hotels replenish tea and coffee daily one small bottle of water is also provided. There is 24 hour room service, breakfast buffet for €22 which we didn’t use, as we thought a little expensive, for a continental breakfast. There is a small gym on the -1 floor, where the dining area is also located. The shower soaks the floor when it’s used, and is over a bath. The hotel is in an ideal location, easy walking distance to the trocodero area, the Eiffel Tower, boat trips on the Seine , hop on buses, and the metro. There are plenty of cafes, bars here. There is a wonderful cake/ bread shop next to the hotel, open mon/fri , cheap and delicious!! Thanks to the hotel staff , so helpful!
Hotels Near Jean Bologne In Paris Review
We just finished up staying here for 6 days and could not be happier. The room was exactly as we expected, smaller than some but it was a decent size and not cramped, best of all it was very clean! The staff in the hotel are so lovely, very friendly and willing to help. The location of the hotel is fantastic- there is a bakery around the corner and is very close to the metro, shops and is easily accessible. We couldn’t be more delighted, we will definitely be back! :)
We were forced to cancel our trip due to the pandemic and Hotel Longchamp was the only accommodation that would NOT work with us on obtaining a refund OR even letting us change our dates to one year later. They did offer us to pay a change fee to change our dates a few months later but didn't offer this until less then one week before our planned stay which was too late to coordinate with the rest of our already rescheduled trip. Hotel Longchamp had ignored all communication with us when trying to deal with this in a timely manner. Our experiences with all our other various flight and hotel reservations etc really worked with us to refund or move our dates to a later time that all syncs up all in the same trip. For this reason, I CANNOT recommend this hotel. They find any reason to KEEP your money and do not work with you to change it to reasonable future dates or offer any type of refund during a global pandemic. If you do plan to stay here I highly suggest you do not pay in full upfront.
Such a great experience to be here. Easy to get to from the train station. Actually all subways in Paris are easy to navigate. The hotel is really close to everything, Eiffel, Champs Elysees, Arc de Triumph. And lots of Brasseries. Markets, bakeries and coffee shops. A safe neighbourhood. The room was great. Very comfortable beds. A breakfast is only $10EU each daily, far more cost effective than buying outside the hotel. Save your money for lunch or dinner. Lovely staff, so very friendly and helpful. This is a family owned and managed hotel. We'll go back here for sure.
Great budget / good value type hotel. Pleasant, efficient and attentive staff, who are on duty 24 hours and speak very good english. We had two rooms and they were nicely decorated in a modern way, with TV, kettle + mini bar. Don't miss out on the smashing breakfast. Location is about 30 minutes on foot from Gare de Nord and similar from central Paris - for example the Centre Georges Pompidou, and is easy to get about the landmarks of just have a look around the interesting backstreets. A number of good cafes nearby and a carrefour store if required,

The location is very good, the travel is very convenient, the front desk service is very good, there are restaurants, supermarkets, and a KFC, close to the M12 line convention subway station.
My wife and I and our two teen children stayed here for 9 nights in a quadruple room, i.e., a room with two full beds. Our experience was more pleasant than we could have imagined. First, the hotel is superbly managed. You are buzzed in instantly at the front door at all times. Maid service is excellent. The owner, François, a friendly and cultured fellow, is frequently at the front desk, and is a veritable font of valuable information, from transit tips to restaurants to out-of-the-way attractions. His wife and daughter are equally friendly and helpful, as are the others who man the front desk. The hotel itself has been nicely and even cleverly rehabbed. The ground floor entrance leads down a white tile hallway to a spiral staircase, which brings one to the entresol, with the front desk and breakfast room in one direction and, in the other direction, another white tile hallway with two sets of spiral stairs at each end leading to the rooms on the upper floors. The elevator (at least for the rooms at the far end of this hallway) is actually another flight up to the premiere étage, that is, on what would be the third floor elsewhere. So be prepared to haul luggage up two flights of spiral stairs. This is not necessarily a knock because it is not uncommon -- I've stayed in a small hotel in Paris where I've had to haul luggage up five flights of spiral stairs. Our room was on the deuxième étage, or what would be the fourth floor elsewhere. We were at the back of the hotel so there was no street noise. The bathroom was immediately in front of the door. It was well-appointed and sparkling clean, with black slate tiles on the floor, a modern sink and toilet, and a partial wall of frosted glass blocks setting off the shower area. The 140 square-foot room was a bit cramped, but still felt cozy, with two sets of French windows and a refrigerator. A small night stand, a long, narrow desk, and two straight back chairs complete the ensemble. We did not avail ourselves of the breakfast given our teens' difficulty in being able to leave the room before 10 am, but there is a nice boulangerie, La Mie Câline, around the corner on the Boulevard St. Denis, which François's daughter recommended, and at which one can easily pick up baguettes, croissants, and (most important) cafe au lait to bring back to one's room. I picked up breakfast there every morning; we kept orange juice, jam, and butter in the room fridge. The neighborhood is diverse, vibrant, and safe. It has not been scrubbed or Disneyfied. The funky Rue du Faubourg Saint-Denis is but a block west and does not lack for hip cafes and bars. Although the Metro is convenient, Beaubord, the Forum Des Halles, and the Île de la Cité are all within relatively easy walking distance. The Cosmotel is a precious little gem that I unhesitatingly recommend to anyone, couple or family, for an economical stay in Paris, short or long.
Lovely and clean hotel conveniently located just below Montmartre. The staff is very nice and helpful and managed to resolve all questions I might have had. The decor is quite nice, it has a cozy feeling. The breakfast is quite lovely, nice selection of french goodies, so definitely a plus. The only downside is reflected in the location: if you go to central Paris, you often go small for this price. So a single room gets the fun part of not being able to properly unpack my small hand luggage and the elevator is definitely designed for slender crowd. Would recommend and would stay again.
We stayed here for 2 nights in October, the staff were very friendly and welcoming, with fluent English, as we have limit french. the rooms are very nice, clean and comfortable, secure. so after a long day walking around Paris, its nice to kick of the shoes, hop on the bed and snooze until your due to head out again. its located next to a nice park area , nice for a stroll. Close to the metro, and great location in general for sightseeing. we didn't have any food or drink on site, so cant comment on that. overall, very happy with the hotel.
I stayed here for 3 nights on business. My company booked it for me, and actually apologized to me later. Pluses 1. Fast, free wifi 2. Good location in the 17e near shops and restaurants 3. Front desk staff is very kind Minuses 1. Breakfast is not included, and definitely not worth the fee (just bread, croissant, jam, butter, coffee, carton orange juice) 2. Not very well kept or clean. I took an extra blanket from the shelf, and a huge beetle crawled out of it. Ugh. My door had a weird hole drilled into it that acted like a PEEPHOLE, which a previous occupant had covered with packing tape for privacy! 3. Ripped, stained carpeting and moldy shower curtain 4. No lift, if that matters to you 5. The hall lights up the spiral stairs don't work. The hallway lights on the floors don't work. As a woman traveling alone, and as someone who did not want to plummet down 3 flights of stairs in the dark, I felt very unsafe. 6. There is an older man, I am guessing the owner, who lives in the room where breakfast is served. He is very, VERY loud, and treats the breakfast room and lobby as his personal living room. It's very off-putting. He was talking to the front desk staff in a tone so loud that I thought they were fighting. I felt very sorry for the front desk staff, who were very nice. I do not recommend this hotel at all. It felt unclean and unsafe.
I think I have stayed in about 20 hotels in Paris over the years. From luxury to budget. Jardin le Brea is the best. We stayed 2 nights end of January. We booked a Superior Double room and it was HUGE. Especially the bed. The bathroom (with bath) was lovely too. We didn't have breakfast. All people working at reception were very helpful. They really wanted us to have a good time in Paris. The hotel is recently renovated. The area is great, very quiet. Jardin Du Luxembourg is at one end of the road and it's very pretty. Also a few bakeries and boutiques right next to the hotel. The other end of the road has loads of Brasseries. We ate at La Coupole and the service was excellent. Thank you to the hotel for our lovely stay.
The Hotel is good situated at Place du Clichy. The Montmartre area and on the other Hand Grands Magasins/ Opéra ca be easily reached by food in ca. 15 minutes walk. We had a quiet room, which was small but still OK. The breakfast was ok with a good choice, but nothing special typical Parisienne. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Finally I need to mention the very friendly staff. The best argument to choose the hotel is the good location
Very nice location, Good facilities, many young people from all around the world
Few main things that could be better: 1)window of the room goes to the yard place and there is no light coming from the window to the room, so all the time the electricity should be swiched on, even it is very poor, so discomfort of not feeling day light or just the normal light. 2)Lack of waste bin in the room. There is just very small one in bathroom. Not enough for three people room. 3) Paper walls-any movement of neighbours could be felt.. 4) Lack of ventilation. 5)Could be more sockets-in this electronical world should be more:) Advantages: very very good location! To any direction metro or easy way reachable by foot! Friendly staff. Asked for additional blanket-got that followed with nice smile. Rooms: clean!!!! rooms, bathroom, bed linen-clean and nice. Towels changed every day. Room not so big but comfortable.
Since 2000, every year my wife and I have traveled to France and NEVER EVER thought of burglary would happen on us! This was the first time we stayed in this hotel because hotels nearby like Hotel Mercure and Elysees were fully booked. For the policy of the hotel, every time we went out, we needed to leave the key in reception. Then, BREAK IN AND BURGLARY happened while we went to the bar one block behind for the World Cup game, France vs Argentina (Paris Time 1530-1900, June 30 Saturday)! Our 4 suitcases’ locks were all damaged by professional burglar, money and new bought jewel accessories were gone! I rushed towards the receptionist at once (our room was on 1st floor), telling her (Julie) crime happened and asked her to call the police, but she REFUSED!!! Despite our stuff were damaged and being searched, and valuables were “disappeared”, Julie’s explanation was “maybe our technician entered your room for measurement and moved your suitcases…” What? Seriously? A technician can feel free to enter a guest’s room without prior notice to the guest? And obviously, it was the “crime scene” of the burglary, how could she deny it by telling us such stupid excuse!!! Without any action taken, she only emphasized hotel was safe and nobody broke in our room! We were in fiercely anger and insisted her to call police; but the reply was “You can get a taxi outside to police station”. How helpful! After we had decided to call police by ourselves, Julie could not stop us but only helped us to call the police unwillingly. Eventually, police came and recorded the happening… That night was really a nightmare! The hotel was extremely insecure to stay and we kept awake all night long!!! It totally ruined our mood in Paris and the rest of our trip! Next morning (Sunday) we went to police station for further declaration of the case. Dramatically, we heard a victim sitting next to us also reporting burglary in Hotel Tivoli – it happened at the same time as ours! (the victim, Mr. H from Lebanon, who stayed on 4th floor). While going back to hotel with Mr. H, we confronted the receptionist. Julie could not make any excuse but only admitted “SOMETHING HAPPENED” last night. She still reluctant to say it was theft or burglary!!! We insisted to contact the hotel manager several times. Finally, the deputy manager came to talk with us on Monday morning. We told the deputy the whole story and showed her the police declaration and our damaged suitcases. She was nice and considerate, seemed to understand our situation. She promised us to investigate the case and proceeded the compensation for us. A month later, after we were back to home, the hotel finally told us “they found a suspect who checked out a day after the break in, and they are looking for that man…” Time flies. Six months passed. 2019 arrived. I wrote countless emails hope someone will speed up the case. There is NO apology NOR insurance compensation!!! The hotel m
It's a trip with my sister. The most important thing was the hotel. Although small in size, the location was great, so it was great to see the sights, and the room was very good. The staff at the hotel was very friendly. Close to the mart, there are many restaurants nearby. Try it .. If you go to Paris, I'll use again ~ ^^
This Ibis hotel appears brand new but it is just recently updated I think. The check in was pleasant and fast. Room floors only accessible when you are a guest. There is also a parking under the hotel. The bed and linen is just perfect. Rooms are not large but convenient in size. The room was very clean and silent. After a good night sleep, the breakfast was really a wide selection. Fresh bread and fruits, good choice of meat and cheese. Would definitely go there again when doing business in the area. Internet connection was for free and with a good speed!
We were looking forward to our stay at JK Paris as we stayed both in their properties in Capri and Rome. But trust me JK Paris is not close to those properties. The renovation was nicely done. Michele Bonan’s work is admirable always...but comparing the other two JK’s it doesn’t have the impressive factor as building isnt as grand. Here are issues we have faced: 1)When we arrive hotel there was nobody to greet and take our luggage. And rest our stay there was a gentelman whose sole function was to look at us and say Bonjour rather than picking up our bags to deliver to room( which is what happens in all 5 star hotels) 2) There was no continuous internet service during our 5 days stay. Once you connect to internet by entering password, the connection drop off after 10minutes. One other stuff confirmed there is even connection problem with staff internet. 3) The room phone was a lovely looking yet very complicated to make a call; on top it wasn’t working. During our stay we couldn’t make a call to the reception or room service. We had to make calls from our own mobiles to reception to order room service. 4) The food which people seems to love is just mediocre. Not sure how the restaurant may survive as in city of Paris. Food was inconsistent the burrata came one day on caponata and next day on artichoke puree. Breakfast was weak with dry eggs and porridge with 3 star service. 5) The hotel is obviously can not be compared to its grand dame competitors and it wants to go for “your home in Paris” concept with a more personalized service. Its all great in description but in reality the service was non existent for the price they charge and not even close to personal service. If all this happen in a 3 stars of course I can’t complain. But when I’m paying more than 1000euros a night to a hotel; I think its my right to expect proper service; internet connection; decent water pressure , working phone; news paper delivery etc. You can easily hide behind “oh we are only open for 2 months” excuse but than one should not charge customers full rates. To sum up; you will spend money wisely by staying in Plaza Athenee/GeorgeV/Crillon get implacable service and go see the JK and Bonan’s interior work over coffee. But we are absolutely not getting back to JK Paris. Note:the spa hasn’t yet opened as of mid March; not sure how they are reviews on how great spa is in February.(sounds fishy most previous reviews)
This budget hotel was clean and conveniently located. Easy access to public transportation into the heart of Paris as well as Charles de Gaulle airport. The neighborhood was full of bakeries and cafes, a park and shops and when we needed a hospital there was even one of those within walking distance!! Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast available for purchase was fresh and delicious. Downside: the room was extremely small even by European standards.
Second tjme visiting this hotel - were due to stay in March but due to CV19 we had to cancel. The owner was extremely accommodating and extended our reservation. In addition she matched the current prices on the hotel when we re-booked so we were offered an upgrade and breakfast as well. That in itself was brilliant. Our second visit made us realise how well located this hotel is - 10 mins walk to Moulin Rouge and about 30 mins walk in either direction to La Louvre and Sacre Coeur (metro is 5 mins away in Saint Lazare). Yet it is located in a quiet street just away from the hustle and bustle and shops. No problems with sleeping!! The hotel itself is what it should be - a relaxing / chilled out environment but with attentive and engaging staff. The spa is amazing - steam room, sauna and pool are top notch. Due to CV19, breakfast was delivered to the room - and again was lovely. I honestly can’t fault this hotel and it’s ethos which is genuinely one which puts its customers first. Thank you for an amazing and stress free weekend.
The location is great. Walking distance to great dining options. Only a five minute walk to one of the main subway/train stations. The rooms and common areas are very clean. The staff is excellent. They were always helpful and accommodating, which was very much appreciated, since we brought our baby. I’d like to give Tatiana from the reception a special shoutout. I left my glasses in my room when I checked out. She not only took the time to find them, but mailed them back to me after carefully packing them. Thank you so much, Tatiana!
The hotel is comfortable and stylish and located quite centrally in Paris with only a 10 minute walk to the Paris Opera. The building is a typical Parisian apartment building but furnished nicely and has an elevator which is great for a lot of luggage. My room was a single room with a double bed, and a large window facing out onto the street. It was a good size for one traveller and the bathroom had a bath/shower. The staff are pleasant and helpful and were incredibly accommodating during the initial stages of the COVID-19 outbreak in France. The pandemic hit the hotelier business hard, but Hotel Paradis' staff remained friendly throughout the crisis. When I visit Paris the next time, I'm sure I'd stay here again.
I stayed at Le Trente with my daughter and Mother in Law for a few days is Paris. We had the triple room which was perfect for us. One large double bed and one sofa bed (which we put up on the first night and left up as we were not in the room for much other than sleeping), The room was clean, the bathroom & shower were great. The hotel is in a quite street so no night time noise and the surrounding area is very nice with bars and restaurants. We travelled around Paris on the bus and tram (both within easy walking distance from the hotel). The staff were very helpful if we needed anything, and let us leave our luggage on the last day after checking out, so we could make the most of that day.
I’ve recently come back from a trip at hotel flannelles Paris and I cannot wait to go back. All the staff are amazing and always willing to go over and above. Breakfast was great. There are not as many options as an English hotel however what they do have is excellent. You have to try the jam! The location is perfect. It’s on a quiet street but then walk 3 mins up the road and there’s the arc de triomphe. It’s close to everything! The hotel room was small but it made up for that with all the fabulous amenities including nespresso coffee machine, a gorgeous bathroom, the comfiest bed with soft lights that switch on when you go to the bathroom. The list goes on and on. Too many good things to say about this hotel. Oh and the spa, GORGEOUS! Zoe and Gabriella gave my husband and I the BEST massages!!! And to the rest of the staff: Redar, Camelito Flo and Anna, thank you for making this trip wonderful. There was another man that also helped but I can’t remember his name but he was at the front desk and was so helpful.
We stayed at the Grand Hotel Dore for six nights in September 2019 because it was included in a Groupon package. We were a bit unsure of what to expect, but this hotel far exceeded our expectations and was a charming place to stay. The Grand Dore is not in the historic center, but it takes only a few minutes to ride to the center via two metro lines available at a Metro stop less than a block away from the hotel. The hotel's surrounding neighborhood has the appearance and amenities of central Paris, but without the noise and congestion. The hotel itself is immaculate and up-to-date. The rooms are compact but not tiny, and have comfortable beds, ample armoires, and contemporary bathrooms (ours had a shower). Our continental-style breakfast was included and offered coffee/tea/milk, hard/soft-boiled eggs, fresh fruits, cereals, fresh pastries, bread and preserves, etc., with real plates and silverware (no plastic or paper!). As with many Paris hotel elevators, this one is small; but it's also speedier than any other hotel elevator we've encountered in Paris. The hotel staff was friendly and knowledgeable, spoke English flawlessly, and was patient with us when we tried our inadequate French on them. We've already recommended the Grand Hotel Dore to friends.
This hotel is situated in a very famous part of Paris - Monmartre, just couple of minutes walk from Abbesses metro station and five minutes walk from Pigalle. Walking distance from wall of love and beautiful Sacre Coeur. In this area you find lots and lots of great food places as well. The hotel itself is situated on a side street, away from noise, so it is calm there, we had a very good night sleep. Though you really can hear neighbours, we were probably very lucky to have quite ones. Beds are very comfortable, as well as pillows (what a really great surprise for me because usually I suffer from bad night sleep in hotels), it was very warm in the room, but you can control the heating. Room is small but cozsy with a big mirror and a flat tv on the wall. The wardrobe is pretty small, there is also a little fridge what is very good. The only thing I'd prefer to be added is a small shelf in the bathroom to put things on as toothbrush and toothpaste, but it is just a small detail. Room and bathroom were very clean, sheets and towels were fresh. The room was cleaned every day. Downstairs there is a machine where you can buy tea or coffee and another one with snacks and cold drinks and water. There is also a very lovely bar with nice cocktails downstairs, very popular with locals, very atmospheric and nice. There is no lift in the hotel, so make sure you are fine with it. For us it wasn't a big deal. Staff was very friendly. I'd especially like to thank M.Fendi who was very helpful since the moment of booking, answering emails very quickly and detailed, and also being very attentive and welcoming during check-in/check-out. Thank you very much. This is the service which makes you want to come back again. Definitely recommend this hotel if you want to stay in this beautiful part od Paris but away from noisy center with a good connection with other parts of the city. Also, very good for your budget. Next time I go to Paris, I'd happily stay there again.
This is a chic / boutique hotel at an excellent location in Paris. It is walking distance from Champs Elysees, and not far from many of the touristy / shopping things in Paris. The rooms were very charming and comfortable. And for the price, the rooms exceeded expectation. Two areas for improvement: a) While the front office staff are all very nice, they need to improve their level of information regarding things to do in Paris. This hotel obviously serves tourists, and as such they should be better informed to guide guests, I found this inconsistent - some staff were a bit better than others in this regard. B) Since we were travelling for few days; we had to give a bit of laundry in the hotel. And is was expensive. And we specifically requested we wanted clothes folded. They all came back on hangers, and the hotel said due to security of the clothes (or something like this); the laundry service is not allowed to fold clothes. I find it difficult to believe that in the fashion capital of the world, a laundry service is not allowed to fold a shirt and trousers !!! Something for this hotel to think about. But, overall a superb hotel and we will definitely stay there next time we visit.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay - our room was ready (early) when we arrived, check in was smooth, the room, although typically small, was well-equipped, immaculate, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable with quality linens. Each staff person was friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. We loved the neighborhood - it's been decades since we've explored the Viaduct des Arts, or strolled the Promenade Plantée and we really enjoyed doing so again. There are also many good restaurants, bakeries, cafes nearby. Breakfast was abundant and excellent, with lots of inviting and comfortable seating available. Wifi was fast and complimentary.
For our first time travel in the city of Paris we chose to stay in this hostel. It's a budget place to stay, do not expect any luxury but you can expect kindness and warm welcome from the staff. Room was nice and clean, nice view and amazing location for city exploration. There is wonderful park 10-15 min away for walking enthusiasts, vicinity of public transport, 2-3 min walk from hostel itself, many restaurants and street food around and small shops as well. You'll need 20 min to get to the Champs-Élysées by metro. In hostel amenities there are nice little bar with decent prices and happy hour options and self service kitchen if you like to prepare your own dishes. We got what we expected, we could say that this was a good deal when you take into consideration price and service given. Definitely recommend.
For all who visiting Paris first time - BE READY EVERYTHING IS SMALL!!! Rooms in the hotels , restaurants, shops - everything . If I made reservation now I would take room with balcony. Nice view and chance to get out of little box . But hotel itself just great . Very good location . Walking distance from all main attractions, very close to metro station but in the same time located in quite street without crazy crowd. The perl of the hotel it is definitely staff and perfect management . Everyone so friendly and just helpful. Nice breakfast, you can see how in very limited space they trying to satisfy all needs . Yogurt, cheese , bacon ( non halial) eggs, nuts, cornflakes and different types of pastry. And it’s very cute that nice coffee and some pasties available 24/7 free of charge. I would definitely highly recommend this hotel!
