The hotel is beautiful, in a very good position, central but quiet with a public parking going directly to the hall and the rooms are super clean, the breakfast is good and with a lot of choice...so why only 3/5? Because the staff at the reception is completely useless and the wellness area had very restricted hours (from 5 to 9 p. m. only), they wrote due to the cost of energy, but if this is the reason, why the heating in the rooms was always so high? We had to turn it off and open the window during the day to breath, it should have been around 24-25 °C. If they kept it lower they could open the wellness area for more time, especially because there were a lot of people (60 rooms most or them booked) and it was difficult to use a 8 people jacuzzi and around 20 deck chairs if everybody go there at the same time. The problem with the reception staff totally useless happend twice: in the wellness area you shouldn't drink or eat (it's logical but I asked to be sure), I said there was a group of teenagers with beers and bottles in general (glass) but nobody came to check and say somehing: bringing glass near a swimming pool could be very dangerous if a bottle fall, but nobody cared. The other episode was with the restaurant: we asked at the reception for a reservation in any night of our stay (5 nights), but they say to ask directly to the restaurant without caring at all at our request. At the restaurant they were very rude and said they were fully booked any day any time without even checking, fortunately just around the corner there was another very good one and we went there twice, but usually if in the hotel there is a restaurant, the staff is much more helpful and there is always the possibility to try it if you are a guest of the hotel.

It was sooo disappointing! To think that you were arriving at a respectable accommodation to find that they did not even have bell service. We arrived with our luggage and there was no one to help with it, our car service fortunately helped out, and then it was further downward from there. Every single item of request was a disappointment! Everything was answered with ”we simply do not have people to do the required service!” Not something one wants to hear while on vacation, paying full fee for a supposedly established place to stay.

The concierge guy was most courteous when we arrived very early in the morning to Munich, felt welcomed. He pointed us to what we can do and showed us a nice restroom so we can freshen up. The room size is good, well designed. Decor highlights German Alpine traditions in a graceful manner. Feeling relaxed when you enter the hotel. The breakfast offers good and plentiful choices. Especially liked their use of tea leaves instead of tea bags.

Very good value in the center of Innsbruck. We were very happy with our experience. The hotel was just steps away from the Christmas market. Easily accessible by public transport and by foot from...anywhere in town. We had dinner in the restaurant and had an excellent meal. The breakfast was outstanding. Very friendly and accomodating staff.

We were a night guest in this hotel. stage 12 is located in the centre of the city. At the reception we were very friendly. The room was cozy, modernly furnished, clean and very quiet. There was something for breakfast. I am particularly pleased about a large selection of fruits. When we come back to Innsbruck, we will be nighting back in the hotel, especially because of its location and friendliness. In the place, a nice thank you for the upgrade. The room with views on the mountains was impressive.

This was the nicest hotel we stayed in, in a month's long trip of Europe in December. We stayed in a junior suite, and our daughter enjoyed the curtained off area her bed was in, providing her with her own private space. The hotel is modern and luxurious inside, while being in a perfect location next to the old town, and still retaining charm and character. The Christmas markets in Innsbruck are right across the road. The breakfast buffet was the best we encountered also and all of the staff were warm, welcoming, helpful and friendly. Our only regret was that we didn't stay here longer, and we would love to come back.

We booked a Panorama Deluxe room for 3 nights, checking in on Sept. 20th. The property is centrally located along the train station and features a parking directly connected by elevator. The “piece de resistance” of this tall building is clearly its stunning view on the town and surrounding mountains. We were lodged in room 1104 on the 11.th floor which is the top floor featuring rooms, as the 12th accommodates the lounge/restaurant where breakfast is also served. Curiously, the hotel doesn’t have a lobby in a traditional sense: the concierge & cashier counter can be found in a small separate office on the basement and the elevators to the rooms are located in a small hall, across a glass door, which opens directly on Brunecker Street. Access security to the floors being managed by room key-card, you can enter/exit the property and the parking with no contact to any staff at all. Our room was a corner one, rather large, beautifully architected and nicely furnished in a contemporary metropolitan style. From virtually any point of the room (bathroom included) it was possible to spot some additional detail of the stunning panorama. The room was comfortable and quiet (in spite of the near busy train station), breakfast was good and we definitively had a very good time here in Innsbruck.

This trip to Penz Hotel surprised me. The location is more convenient than another veteran hotel by the river that I booked. It took half an hour to walk around the famous scenic spots. Next door downstairs is the mall and delicious Thai food. The rooms also have mountain views. Highlight the garden restaurant on the top floor on the 5th floor with a superb view. The breakfast is rich in variety and delicious! There are also Chinese spring rolls and fried zucchini. Meat, seafood, desserts, juices, fruits, cheese have many subdivided varieties in each category, and they are delicious. Specially recommend all kinds of European-style kimchi, especially tuna wrapped in small tomatoes, and soft cheese wrapped in pickled peppers. The strange combination of wonderful flavors, you must try it if you have an international taste!

Great little hotel with an excellent breakfast. I have stayed here on a few occasions and each time the standard has been high. Very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are not huge, but perfectly adequate for us, given we spend much of the day out. Nice little bar with a coffee machine available for guests. The fact that we keep going back to it is a reflection of the hotel.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It is in a convenient location for getting around - next to the train and bus station for links to the airport, international/national trains in other cities, the Swarovski crystal world and around a 10 minute easy walk to the old town. We were checked in early by a very friendly lady on reception who initially let us store our luggage. The snow capped mountain views from the room (ours was on the 8th floor) are stunning and framed perfectly by the big windows. The hotel reception and room was stylishly decorated. In the room, there was a small window that could be opened and the air conditioning was very quiet, though doesn’t go down to the 10c on the thermostat and seemed more like 20c. The bedding was very nice quality and had a soft and firm pillow - these were probably the most comfortable pillows I’ve experienced in a hotel before. The bathroom is, again, very modern with nice smelling hand wash and shower gel/shampoo. The shower head had a few different settings, including a massage mode which ran for a few seconds. The shelf for the shower gel/shampoo wasn’t very strong though, so had to be held or rested elsewhere and the pump head kept getting stuck, but otherwise was very good and the towels were very soft and thick. The room was fairly quiet, but you could hear other people in other rooms so it doesn’t appear to be soundproofed in any way. Noise from outside (trains, buses and incoming aeroplanes) were very minimal though and did not disturb us. We found the room cleaning system a little strange - there are two cards that you can put on the door. One is not to be cleaned at all during the day and the other is not to have the room cleaned at that time and needs to be removed before 2pm. There isn’t anything to put on the door when you want it to be cleaned, you just have to remove both from the door handle. We initially had the card attached to the door not to disturb at that time (overnight) and then removed it in the morning at 11am and the room had not been cleaned. We were able to get clean towels from reception though. It would be better in my opinion to have a card to have the room cleaned rather than two not to have it cleaned as most people would surely want the room cleaned. We went to the bar on the 13th floor during our stay. This can be visited by hotel guests and non hotel guests. This looks very nice and has great views all around, as well as an outdoor area with blankets. The prices of the drinks are reasonable and comparable with elsewhere in the city. We sat outside and then asked at the bar for a couple of drinks. We were told that there wasn’t any bar service for the outside area - only the inside (which is not a problem at all). However, it was a bit awkward when paying, the lady making the drinks asked if I wanted to give a tip. Given that the drinks were just being made and not brought to our table, I did not give a tip. I may be over thinking this, however it fe

The hotel has its own underground car park, just 80 metres from the hotel. The receptionist will give you an explanation of the location of the parking lot and the opening code. If you arrive late, the underground free parking lot may be full. Parking spaces with blue lines around the street are free between 9pm and 7am, but they are also full of vehicles. The location of this hotel is pretty good. You walk from the historical center of Innsbruck towards the bridge, you cross it and then go up a little bit. It’s at most 10 minutes by foot. The hotel seems small but nice. There is an issue with the parking though. It’s on the sides of the building and very limited. We warned the staff that we will arrive two hours earlier the check in and they said it was fine, however on that day the front desk person didn’t want to allow us to park (later she did after we mentioned the emails). We were also not given the room even though it was ready (we know because they okayed to leave our luggage there). I understand the rules but I worked in the hospitality business for many years and traveled a lot and it’s a common practice to give the guests their room a bit earlier if it’s ready. Except this not most pleasant check in, our stay was fine. The room was tiny but clean. The breakfast was simple but nice. We thought it was a good value. If you need a budget stay, you can consider this place.

I really don’t know where to begin on my review of this amazing hotel. We stayed for 5 nights in December, hoping to experience the Christmas Markets and some snow. The weather wasn’t kind to us but this didn’t ruin our trip. The hotel was a short walk from the Main Train Station and a welcome sight to end our journey. Check in was easy and quick. The hotel reception was beautiful. A Typical Tyrollean feel to it. Our room was wonderful. Just on the first floor, we took the handy lift with our luggage. It was a spacious beautifully decorated room, with air con and a lovely big window which we preferred to have open a little for fresh air - even though it was freezing outside! The bathroom was amazing- massive shower, very modern. All in all, everything we needed - including tea and coffee making facilities. Breakfast was included in our booking. To be honest it was one of the loveliest breakfasts we have had in Europe. A great selection of hot and cold food, hot drinks and an amazing fresh orange juice machine. We could have stayed in the breakfast room all day. The service was really quick, all the staff were really attentive and the food was delicious. All in all this hotel was amazing. Well managed, well maintained and it had a ‘family run’ feel about it, which is lost on most of the larger hotels around. We would not hesitate to stay here again. We were sorry to leave. Thank you Hotel Leipziger Hof. One member of staff stood out to us and made our stay really special. Vaji, was on duty for most of our stay in the breakfast room and made us feel really special. Her service was amazing, she was so attentive, polite and professional. Our favourite member of staff. She made our stay complete. So a special thanks to her.

The hotel is well accessible just east of the city centre. In 15 minutes you will walk from the hotel to the city centre. There is a hotel parking place you should book before arrival. It is about 50m from the hotel. You can first keep your baggage login and loading right in front of the hotel. The rooms are modernly spacious and creatively furnished. All possible kitchen utensils are available in the kitchen line, free drinking water, espresso machine. The bed is good. The service is excellent. Whatever there is, you can see on the site. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. Check-in is also possible without problem after closing the reception (19:00). All information about this is received by email and when is called before and again informed how it is going. It is very simple. Unfortunately we were only two nights on a trip to Italy. When we come back to Innsbruck, we'll stay here again. Then we'll like to stay longer.

Driving from Italy to Innsbruck, the city is not big, the hotel is on the edge of the airport, looking for the hotel entrance to open the second car has not seen, and finally found a lot of steps in the lobby, the door to the elevator is locked You can only take heavy luggage to the hotel lobby, and the free parking lot is across the road. The room is OK, the breakfast is not bad.

Very good value in the center of Innsbruck. We were very happy with our experience. The hotel was just steps away from the Christmas market. Easily accessible by public transport and by foot from...anywhere in town. We had dinner in the restaurant and had an excellent meal. The breakfast was outstanding. Very friendly and accomodating staff.

we were only spending one night in Innsbruck, so a hotel made more sense. Highly rated on Hotels.com, we chose this one. It is definitely more trendy/hipster vibe, with multiple pillow options and alternative air conditioning. The thing that might throw some folks is the all-glass, see-through bathroom. We had encountered something like this several years ago had a hotel in Copenhagen. Both the shower and toilet are glass-enclosed, with a sliding door shared between them. When the door is closed to the toilet, a frosted section of the glass is appropriately placed so that some modicum of discretion is retained. However, the head and feet are plainly visible, and the last thing you want to see after breakfast is your significant others face while they are straining on a painful deuce. The shower, on the other hand, has no discreetly placed frosting anywhere, so you get to see the whole fruit basket…as it were. After looking at pictures on the TripAdvisor page for the hotel, it appears that not all the rooms have this interesting see-through toilet/shower combo. If this kind of thing bothers you, make sure to request a room that works better for you. That being said, both toilet and shower work fine, although the shower is only partially enclosed by a partition wall, leading to a very wet bathroom floor. The bed was quite comfy as well. A very good buffet breakfast was available at a decent price. We were able to park less than a block away in a private lot for a reasonable fee. All in all, a very good stay and we enjoyed our cells.

My husband and I stayed here recently with our dog. It was a very nice hotel and I wish I could have stayed longer. We had an amazing view of the town of Natters from our room. The breakfast was tasty. Parking was a breeze. The location was perfect for our visits into Innsbruck using the tram with a station down the street from the hotel. We also enjoyed dinner at the hotel restaurant on our last night and it was delicious. Room service for dessert later that night was a fun treat, as well. We did not use the spa/wellness area which was the only regret as I'm sure it was a very relaxing space. I have already recommended the hotel and would stay again if visiting the Innsbruck area again in the future.

Located on the outskirts of Innsbruck the hostel is relatively easy to get to. From the central station you just walk around the corner and catch the number 3 tram (heading for Amras). After a few stops you get off at `Pilippine-welser strabe’ and then walk for about ten minutes. Incidentally, if your flight is a morning one, don’t turn up at the hostel in the hope of an early check-in as there is no receptionist until 14.00. So unless you want to sit outside and twiddle your thumbs you would be better off placing your bags in one of the rail station lockers and having a look around the city. Our room was small and basic (no television etc.) and our allocated bathroom was across the corridor. But it was all high spec and, in keeping with the rest of the hostel, spotlessly clean. The receptionists were polite, knowledgeable and helpful (don’t forget to ask for your welcome card which gives you free travel on the trams and buses within the city). Breakfast was more than sufficient to keep us going for most of the day, although some might feel that the choice on offer a bit limited. Should we ever return to Innsbruck we’d be happy to stay at the Marmota again.

Five stars like it, very recommended! This is one of the most satisfying hotels in this trip to Ori. The interior is full of art, the lobby has a very comfortable sofa, and the hotel facilities are relatively new! The location is extremely superior, separated from the old town by a wall, and walked to the golden roof for three minutes. There are many restaurants and cafes around. I booked a three-person room, the most satisfied with the three beds are separated separately, and not the same as the average European hotel, the room size is not small. Innsbruck, the small town surrounded by snow-capped mountains is too beautiful and has a happy atmosphere, and will definitely come again!

Short visit to my friends in Doc. Short term reserved and very pleasant, cozy guest room. I chose from the day offer ”wild pig” - very good with cracked vegetables and tasteful potatoes. All the input with the tomato soup was super, and the red wine recommendation for the pig was ”point-exact”. After-food variety for 3 people - very fine, attractive, a lot of taste. At the next visit I will try fish, the presentation and preparation to the neighbouring table made sure to enjoy fish.

Facilities: The hotel is very mini, the store is small, the elevator is small, the room is small, but it is clean, the room does not have a hot pot, you need to ask the front desk, breakfast is ok, bread, ham, fruit, drinks and salmon.

5 stars for our extra cost Superior Dbl bed, hotel room, 23 m², with a mountain view. A very helpful, male reception person was on duty for our late arrival on 15 April. Being the start of a busy weekend, all of the hotel’s car parks were already occupied; so we parked out on the street. No parking fees apply there over the weekend. The room was excellent and very much as advertised. We appreciated the firm bedding mattresses. Everything was super clean and very modern. The rooms however at the rear of the hotel would have the better mountain views. We find European hotels too hot, so it was great to turn off the room heating and to have the window partly open. Some street noise then of an evening. Again the back rooms would be quieter. The in room safe was in working order. The in room wi-fi was easy to access and great with emails. There is a small fridge, which while not turned on when we arrived, quickly got down to a suitable temp to store my medicines. There is a pod coffee machine in the room and they even replaced the used pods during our 2 night stay. Too many hotels now do not. We found the walk in shower splashed the bathroom floor too readily; but the bathroom is otherwise well thought out. The included breakfast was excellent, with even smoked salmon in the buffet. A bit of confusion though as to whether all of the egg dishes were at extra cost, but there appeared to be free scrambled and boiled eggs. We ate in on the two nights of our stay and enjoyed the different meals. The two drink vouchers that were given on arrival were appreciated. There was much more than pizza on the menu which (partly) disagrees with another recent reviewer. Though on the 2nd night, which was a Sunday, many items on the std menu were now not available. The dining space did become noisy when busy. Alcohol does that to people at most establishments. The Old Town is a 15-20 min flat walk away and it is an interesting stroll. The hotel can issue you with a free Innsbruck Visitor’s Card; which gives free access to public transport and quite a few other good deals. Ask. A well deserved 5 star stay which I would highly recommend to family and friends and the TA world.
