|0.6km from city centerRoom was perfect. Clean and comfy with a smart tv for netflix. Was a cheap but comfy getaway. Room had 1 double and a small single for our daughter. I found most more expensive places only had 1 bed. The balcony you could actualy smoke on, making it very convenient for my partner. Over all great stay if your not all about the view. 5 min walk to jetty road. We loved it.

|0.62km from city centerWe stayed here for a two night break, lured in by the stylized photographs. The hotel itself was built in 1926, and I think the rooms were last refurbished around 1976 the furniture is old and dated. The med was comfortable, but we found some serious stains on the bedding. The location is excellent for trams and access to Rundle St Mall, however being so close to Hi key Street means that there are council street sweeper trucks passing around 430am ever morning. Also, the lane way that has access to the hotel had a few undesirable characters camping in the doorway of the hotel, and having a little drink and argument to themselves quite late. The cold water tap in the bathroom didn’t work. We alerted the hotel reception who told us there was someone booked to come and fix it whilst we were out. When we returned it had not been fixed. We told the receptionist that it hasn’t been fixed so if the plumber had billed them, then he hadn’t done his job. Finally, the hotel policy has a clause for “night workers” who are to “escort their guests out of the building and ensure the security fort is closed” I wasn’t quite sure what that meant at first, but it didn’t take long for the penny to drop. Several times during the night there was a rhythmic banging of the headboard in the adjacent room ….. business must have been good! Overall, I guess you get what you pay for. We lamented over the additional $20 a night extra we could have spent to have a much nicer hotel, just an extra block away from being smack bang in the middle of the city.

|0.56km from city centerThe one-bedroom suite is booked, but I actually stayed in a 2-bedroom suite with a large balcony and a picturesque view. Although not in the urban area, the traffic is quite convenient, and you can get there by taking a bus from the city. There are woolworths supermarkets around. There is a washing and drying machine in the suite, the kitchen has a pot and bowl cutlery dishwasher, an electric cooker and an oven range hood, but there is no oil and salt sauce vinegar seasoning, no chopping board, no chopsticks, if you want to cook yourself, you need yourself. Buy, chopping board I asked the front desk to borrow, but it is not expected. Disposable slippers can ask the front desk, the quality is quite good. In short, very satisfied with the comfortable and cost-effective hotel.

|0.51km from city centerThis time to send my daughter to school, I chose a hotel near the school. Hotel location is ok, only 15 minutes walk to downtown business center, opposite to the park, nothing to run. Hotel facilities are relatively simple, but at this price, the price is also very good, in general it is a good choice

|1.01km from city centerWe stayed in this hotel for a week during July and overall had a good experience. We found the hotel was very well located for our needs, notably a hire car outlet across the road, the travelers clinic (for PCR testing) 2 minutes down the road and many restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. The room we were ultimately stayed was on the 20th floor which provided a great view of the foothills of the city. The room was smallish, but was clean, modern and well appointed with all the features one would expect in a hotel of this price range. We had a couple of issues with check-in because we had inadvertently booked a ”king accessible” room which is for persons of limited mobility, which we did not need. We were offered a change if we paid an extra AUD 20 per night which we refused and so then we were given a free ”upgrade” (as it was explained to us) to a room on a lower floor which turned out to have a door adjoining it to the room next door. We could hear everything that was going on in that room and so after 5 minutes we were back at reception asking for a quiet room. Dealing with a different check-in person we were given a nice quiet room on the 20th floor. My main advice from this experience is do not accept a room with an adjoining door, the sound proofing is terrible. Aside from this initial check in issue our stay was hassle free and very enjoyable. We would certainly consider staying here again when next we visit Adelaide.

|1.06km from city centerMy family and I stayed in this apartment for 4 nights in June'23. We stayed in a two bed room apartment on the 6th floor facing the hills. The location of the apartment was very close to city centre. There are restaurants with in short walking distance. The bus stand is 2-3 minutes walk away. The first bedroom was bigger with a queen bed, wall wardrobe and heat/AC. 2nd bedroom was bit smaller with a double bed and a wall wardrobe, but no heater/AC. The open kitchen was big, having refrigerator, microwave, electric kettle, dishwasher etc. Necessary Tableware, cutlery, dish washing liquid, dishwasher table, kitchen towel, etc was provided. Dinner space and living room was open and big with a wall heater/ AC. We had very good views from the balcony. There was one big bathroom with washing machine and dryer. Entire apartment was clean. Free WiFi had good speed. The apartment Manager was very helpful. The paid car park entry was from the back street. Before checking in, we had problem with our car parking in front of apartment as there was no empty car parking space on the road. We have enjoyed our stay at Hum Serviced Apartment and would request others to stay there.

|0.44km from city centerWe really try to make the best of every experience and don't like to complain but there were a few issues we can't deny or ignore. Our sleep quality was poor every night. From the sounds of pokies machines, loud visitors in the smoking area beneath our window until late hours (even on weekdays), hearing other guests through the walls (coughing, sneezing, talking, children, stomping/banging, the constant hun of someone's air con or something, even using the toilet). The bed was much too soft for our liking (although some guests may like it as it was) we had terrible back aches and still do even having returned home. The grey fluffy blanket provided had a large stain which appeared to have been wet, then dried hard. One of the pillows had a terrible smell - we thought it was the pillow case but after removing it, found the pillow had a large yellow stain beneath - the source of the smell. No microwave; one would have been very helpful. Pleased to have a kettle, fridge and iron with board though. The room itself looked pleasant and was very clean, including the bathroom and fridge. Huge shower head which was a bonus. Unable to open the room window so felt a bit smothered sometimes, some fresh air would be nice. Appreciated the free drink voucher and 20% discount on meals in the bistro. The bar/reception/waitress staff were fantastic, very friendly, eager to help and professional. Unfortunately, mostly due to our very poor sleep, we can't justify the price & won't be returning or recommending staying here. Thank you to the staff for their efforts though, it did go a long way and was the most appreciated point of our stay.

|0.24km from city centerStayed one night when husband and I had a day surgery procedure. Chose it as it was the closest accommodation to the Day Hospital. Checked in after ops a bit early and they were able to have room cleaned ready for us. Room very small, Queen bed took up most of it. Ensuite ok except toilet dripped all night. Bed good and clean. Hot water took ages to heat up. Also not sure what was refurbished? Went downstairs to Bistro for dinner. Hubbys meal good, mine average. Got a small discount for staying on meal and accommodation. Bit loud with traffic, but it is on a busy road (and we are from country). Would prefer a bigger room with a bit of a view in future.

|0.14km from city centerSuch comfortable rooms and beds (best sleep I have had in a while). Three of us booked in for a nights stay. All being up there in age, we did find the stairs steep and hard to climb with our luggage. But dinner, staff and everything else I could not fault. Was able to make a small donation to their pokies, (never win on them). On reading other reviews tho, me must have lucked out and got a newly refurbished room.

|0.31km from city centerWe spend two nights here for our honeymoon vacation. This apartment was spacious, clean and most importantly had everything you needed. Well equipped kitchen with a large fridge. Perfectly located. Very closed to a beautiful beach and walking distance to many great restaurants. Trams station was just few minutes walk. Good value for money. This was my first time to Adelaide and I will definitely come back again with my family!

|0.44km from city centerRoom was quite acceptable, position was good, nothing can be done as regards road noise, wifi connected easily, reception very helpful. The owners need to sharpen their pencil regards “🚭 No Smoking” policies in this country..... and enforce those policies. A designated smoking area is needed. Remove all ash trays from outside the doors of the rooms.... needless to say I am a non smoker and didn’t appreciate a smoker outside our room, reception was helpful with the problem, but the problem continued and I should not have to be in debate with a neighbouring room as to whether or not she can smoke on the verandah.

The shower in the main bathroom however is not accessibility friendly as you need to step into a high bathtub with no handrail for support.

|0.52km from city centerPros: Free food!! Tasty pancake breakfasts and four nights a week they make you dinner! Really tasty! Make sure you queue early! Generally plenty for everyone but people go for seconds! Facilities were good, toilets/showers upstairs are really good, downstairs is poor. Cons: Be prepared for party on the weekends! Very loud. Had to ask people to shh at 4am both Friday and Saturday night. Not sure why the front door is at the front by the rooms! The backdoor services the reception and common room so why is this not the front door?!? Luggage storage was not secure with the door just open all the time. Backdoor is open all the time so anyone can walk in off the street and they wouldn’t look out of place!! Not much room in the dorms and lockers are mostly broken. Had to store my bag on-top of the locker which was a bit of a nightmare.

|0.62km from city centerThe house was cleaned, there was no window, but there was a balcony, and the side wall of the balcony was made of glass, and the lighting was good. Take a taxi to the airport for more than ten minutes, about 20 Australian dollars. Not far from the beach, next to the Chinese Consulate. There is a big shopping mall next to the hotel's more than 100 meters gas station. Check-in for half a day can be considered. The only bad thing is that the room is not Wi-Fi.

|0.97km from city centerI was looking for a touch of special to celebrate my wife's 50th birthday. So I booked a room with a river view because I thought that would be nice to wake up to. Well, when we arrived, we had been upgraded to a 'suite'! We were blown away at this room, wall to ceiling views, dining room, bath, balcony. 'Pretty woman' eat your heart out. We didn't dine there as it was a Sunday night and not all of them were open but the facilities looked good. Staff were very professional and friendly at check in and check out. Very little surprises me these days. but EOS did. Thank you very much for exceeding our expectations and giving us an experience we will cherish forever.

|0.74km from city centerNeeding a place to stay and not much to choose from in the North East, we went to Sferas and it was wonderful. Not real happy that they wanted a $150 holding deposit so we make sure we don't wreck the room. This is a fist class place to stay. The room had plenty of space, was clean and the bed and pillows were wondwerful to sleep on. The bathroom was roomy enought to take my walker. The only complaint was the noise beneath up as they had a school graduation.

|0.64km from city centerThe Lockleys Hotel is situated in the western suburbs of Adelaide. The Carpark is large and landscaped, it is easy to find a parking spot and the area is well lighted for safety reasons. The ambience of the hotel is relaxed and the restaurant is comfortable, uncrowded. There is also outdoor seating. The hotel has rooms for accommodation, a sports bar and gaming room. They have there menu online, which enables you to have an idea of the variety of the meals. Our table had four different meals, lambs fry and bacon with mashed potatoes, seafood basket, steak and chicken. All the meals were of a good size, and well cooked. The prices are reasonable. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Unfortunately the weather was miserable and the driveway to our room had quite a lot of water which covered a couple of very deep holes. Our room was behind the hotel which protected us from any road noise. A free drink per person is given on arrival plus 25% discount on all meals during the stay. The meals we had were of good quality and service was excellent. The bar staff are very pleasant and prompt.
