Check-in by phone, room key from wall box. No one on site. That came unexpected. So baggage without lift came into the second floor. The room was beautifully furnished and large enough. I had booked a double room for single accommodation. A beautiful bathroom with a large shower with a rain shower head. A capsule coffee machine and a small bottle(!) mineral water were available. My evening visit to the restaurant located in the house was an revelation. I was friendly served and eaten there excellently. The fish soup with croustens and rouille as a pre-feed I rarely eaten so excellently. As the main court I chose rummpsteak with apple and fungi, as a supplement potato gratin. The steak was very good and brathed to the point. Cibules and fungi had pleasant chest flavors. The potato gratin, reached in a small pan, was a little overgrown. The selected dessert, white chocolate must with a beer salad and a parfait rounded the enjoyment of the evening nicely. Finally the finally reached espresso was qualitatively expandable. The chef and the nice service have allowed me a nice evening. A clear recommendation!

Wir hatten das Flair-Angebot mit HP in diesem etwas in die Jahre gekommenen Hotel gebucht. Das Hotel liegt idyllisch in schöner Natur. Der erste und letzte Kontakt an der Rezeption ließen zu wünschen übrig. Geschlagene 7 min. haben wir bei der Anreise gewartet, bis sich eine kauende Dame mal erbarmte, aus dem Nebenbüro an den Tresen zu kommen (nachdem wir mehrfach „Hallo“ gerufen haben). Geradeaus saß derweil eine Dame am PC, die es nicht mal für nötig befand, uns zu grüßen, zu bedienen oder wenigstens der Kollegin Bescheid zu geben. Keine Begrüßung, keine Nachfrage nach der Anreise, stattdessen mitten in der „Anmeldung“ noch mal schnell zwei andere Gäste angeraunzt, die sich Wanderkarten anschauen wollten. Tolle Stimmung direkt zu Beginn…. Bei der Abreise keine Nachfrage nach dem Aufenthalt, gute Reisewünsche, Flasche Wasser oder sonst etwas, das man bei 4-Sternehotels andernorts selbstverständlich findet. Rezeption: 1 Punkt. Die Zimmer sind sehr klein, das Bad noch kleiner und zudem schlecht riechend, da nicht/schlecht belüftet. Sauber war aber alles. Der Service war freundlich und bemüht, aber oft unbeholfen und deutlich zu langsam. Zudem mussten die Servicekräfte wegen jeder Kleinigkeit fragen gehen. Uns schien dies nicht Unwissenheit, sondern Vorgabe zu sein. Unglücklich. Die Preise für Getränke und Speisen liegen recht hoch. Absolutes Highlight: das Frühstücksbuffet und das Essen. Kochen kann man hier: 5 Punkte dafür! Der Wellnessbereich ist dünn besetzt aber sehr zugewandt, macht einen guten Job-schön war’s. Ebenso die Massagen im Reha-Vital. Die Saunen haben wir nicht benutzt, das Schwimmbad ist klein (Sportbecken mit großem Massagepool und Kinderschwimmbecken). Der Außenbereich zum Liegen ist ungepflegt mit von Traktorspuren zerstörtem Rasen. Keine hohe Aufenthaltsqualität. In der Umgebung schöne Wanderwege, Kurpark mit Teich direkt gegenüber. Insgesamt war der Aufenthalt in Ordnung, wir waren aber schon in vielen 4-Sterne-Hotels, wo es stimmiger war. Für uns kein 4-Sterne-Hotel, eher gute 3-Sterne. Und dafür insgesamt zu teuer.

Positively noticed: many free parking, friendly staff, cleanliness, room size (Junior suite), charge station for e-vehicles free, location. Negatively we noticed: if you want to have the card for the e-loading station, you need to deposit EUR 50. The loading station is directly at the hotel. The card is needed to start the loading process. You are back at the reception 2 minutes later, where you will get the EUR 50 back. That doesn't make any sense. In the Junior Suite there is a Senseo machine. There are 4 capsules with it. If you want more, you have to pay for it. This happened to us for the first time. At a junior suite I expect the capsules to be renewed every day, free of charge. I also pay more for this for the room. The hotel is at all very business-friendly. Just before arrival you get an email with the offer of upgrades, of course against payment, e.g. early arrival, late departure etc. When we arrived we faced the hotel having a “Green week” and we were asked, Because we were only a few days there to refrain from the room cleaning. Of course voluntary. We have been grateful to reject it. Instead of upgrading, we should have been informed about it in advance, then we might have promised. But when checking in to be attacked with it, we didn't find it okay. The food was very good for our taste once, once it tasted us less. But there are everyone different.
