I love love this addition of this little gem to Beirut. Befitting to the name, it is a place that makes you feel lost in time and space. The rooms are gorgeous, comfortable and soothing. The icing on the cake is the lobby bar restaurant that makes killer cocktails and eclectic food inspired by Sydney Australia’s modern food movement. Cannot wait to come back.

This is a great place to stay in a fun neighborhood. From the moment I booked my room until I left, the whole Meshmosh team was helpful and informative! The rooms are nice, clean and affordable. Breakfast is fantastic, with a lot of choice and good coffee/tea available. A friend of mine needed a room last minute since the hotel she had booked was a disaster, Grand Meshmosh stepped up and helped her with an easy move and a nice place to stay! Airport shuttle was also convenient and well priced.

The type of breakfast is generally small. The place to eat is small. But it is acceptable. The price/performance ratio can be as large as the room. The room was 50 square meters when the reservation was made. The actual room is about 25. The display of the new reservation seems normal.

If Sofitel Le Gabriel was called after a different name I would rate the hotel with 4/5 but unfortunately it's a Sofitel and definitely is lacking those little extras to make you feel special. When a guest is a platinum cardholder it's these touches that make you feel special for trusting AccorHotels chain. What I mean... We had two nights (3 full days) at Beirut staying at Sofitel Le Grabriel. We arrived early in the morning (around 8 am at the hotel) and we were given a room although check-in opens at 14:00. Honestly we didn't have any expectations for getting a room so early and we thought we would just leave our suitcases and go away until check-in time. It was a nice gesture to give us a room immediately. It was the exact room type we booked - luxury double. Usually, upon availability there is an upgrade to platinum members. Of course we didn't know how full is the hotel and cannot insist on that but during our entire stay we crossed three guests (!). Generally it was pretty quiet in the hotel so I find it weird we didn't have an upgrade in the room (we could wait for a check-in at 14;00 if it was to get a nicer room). The luxury room we got on the 8th floor was nice but the bathroom was too small. Maybe the smallest we ever got in a Sofitel. There was a nice veranda but only one chair to sit and although we thought of spending sometime outside on the balcony late in the evening, it was impossible. Furthermore, only one bathrobe and only one pair of slippers were available. Most of the times you get a welcome note by the manager in the room with a bottle of water and a little treat that makes you feel 'special', and even when this is not ready on the first day, they leave it in your room the second day. We got nothing apart from two small bottles of water that were replaced every day. During the turn down service the housekeeping provided new clean towels but they didn't replace the empty water bottles on the bedside table. I don't know the policy of this exact hotel. Maybe the instructions they have is to just have the bottled water replaced once during the day. Strange though in a country like Lebanon that you cannot drink water from the tap so you must either use the mini bar or get from outside. In all our stays elsewhere in this chain they had been provided with new bottles during turn down service. It's all about details, yes. What if there was just one chair on the balcony and just one bathrobe. It's not that a big thing, yes. Also, it's not the value of a small bottle of water, neither that of the welcome treat, but it's the gesture to a loyal guest and what makes the hotel differentiating from an equivalent 5* that is not a Sofitel. On the positive side I have to thank the friendly male receptionist in the evening (I'm sorry I don't remember the name) that booked us a restaurant of our preference for dinner and also for being polite and attentive! We asked him the last night for a late check out on the next day and he extended i

We stayed here 4 days. Although a budget hotel we thought it was great. It may be an old hotel but the service was great. Our room was clean, the shower and toilet were clean and we had plenty of hot water. Close to local eateries and the Corniche. Why pay a lot for accommodation when you can stay here for less. We are in our seventies and we thought it was a wonderful place to stay. It is not the Ritz, but a small cosy place. Will definitely stay again.

We stayed at urban central for around 10 days and had our wedding guests stay there as well. Urban central took care of us like family. We felt right at home. The hotel is brand new, very clean, well taken care of and comfortable. The deluxe suites have comfortable beds and sofa beds for family style stays. Beautifully decorated and has everything you need to feel at home. Including a small kitchen and a fridge. As for the breakfast it definitely exceeded our expectations. Custom prepared omelettes are a dream. Cooked to order and freshly served. Delicious cappuccinos to go with it will make the experience complete. The hotel is close to restaurants, juice shops, malls and everything is easily accessible via public transportation. I highly recommend you stay there. You won't find better quality for the price and location.

1. The hotel is in an excellent location, in front of the American University, in the Red Zone, and surrounded by restaurants and bars, which is very convenient at night. 2. The hotel is very new, the rooms are fully equipped, the air conditioning is very powerful, and the sound insulation is good. There is a gym. 3. Service attitude is good, there are bicycles for free use. 4. Not many types of breakfast. 5. Affordable prices, first choice for tourism. 6. The hotel has no breakfast, but the hotel is a bit old and broken. The home and room facilities can only be said at the guest house level, but the surrounding scenery is very good, remember to bring your sleeping bag. Citymall is about 15,000 Lebanese dollars, quite close. A lot of taxis should be careful. The waiter at the door is very handsome, you can give him a tip to ask him, let him help you call it.

First of all, I would like to say, Raouche Arjaan by Rotana is the one of the best hotel I have stayed in and it is the only hotel I would stay in in Beirut for many reasons. I travelled with my wife and we booked a suite and as soon as we reach the hotel they recipient Kareem said because it is your wedding anniversary the management office upgrade your booking to be Raouche veiw (it was big WooooW) so, Thank you Raouche Arjaan by Rotana Management office for your sweet offer Also big thank you for kareem, Raneem and Angee (Sorry Angee I spelled the name wrong lots red flower for you and one white hahahaahah). The suite was located in 11th floor it has beautiful sea and Raouche view, in the first night we have been welcomed with juice drinks and heart cake shaped by the General Manager, unfortunately, the room service through the card but as far as I remember the name was Hala Massad so , Big thanks Hala (lots red flower for you and two white hahahaahah). The concierge was very tidy, very helpful and advisory where to go and what to do. Now Big Big thanks to Mr Faisal from House keeping (lots white flower for you and two red hahahaahah) for your assistance and kindness. sorry if i forget any one but in general all of the hotel staff was friendly. now about the hotel, an excellent romantic location. just cross the road is the Flaminki where you can have nice also near by coffee shops looking to the Raoucha facing the sea as well near all what you need so, If I am going to Beirut againe I will very sure stay in Raouche Arjaan by Rotana suite # 1102. In summery, Thank you all the staff of Raouche Arjaan and, If your looking for a place then Raouche Arjaan by Rotana is the ONLY. Note: the Picture I attached been taken from my suite Balcony. The hotel's biggest highlight is facing the Mediterranean Pigeon Rock directly. The rooms have large floor-to-ceiling windows. The sunrise and sunset are very comfortable. The service is considerate and the environment is comfortable. It is highly recommended. There is a free shuttle bus to and from the airport, which saves time and effort. In addition, walking distance or taxi can quickly reach the city center to visit major attractions, and the transportation is convenient.

The hotel is in a good location at the end of the Hamra neighborhood. Walk to Pigeon Rock for about 10 minutes. The front desk clerk is very good in English, the communication is very smooth, and there is no change in the money. I also eagerly lend me 20,000 local coins. As a first time visitor to Beirut, from the US, this hotel served us very well as a base for exploring the city. The hotel itself is large, well centered, and very unique. The lobby features multiple places for lunch, breakfast, beer, etc. It's all there. I was a bit concerned as the hotel reviews said it had no onsite dining options - but really they do as the lobby has tons of options. The choices are much better than your standard onsite hotel dining. Across the street is a small shop for snacks, drink etc, again everything you need to make a trip comfortable as you deal with jet lag and a new city. The area was extremely well located with many shopping and sight seeing options available. The area itself was well maintained and a nice center for exploring the different areas of Beirut. I was torn between this hotel and Le Gray, and after seeing Le Gray and downtown, I was glad we stayed here in Hamra. The walk to Downtown took 2 of us (late thirties) 20 minutes and the walk back along the Corniche was 30m. It is a fairly easy walk and not as far as I had thought. Hotel provided umbrellas due to the rain and it was a nice touch. The room was extremely large, similar to a large studio apartment. The room is stocked with everything you need and is all clean as one would expect for a hotel. I stayed in a Van Dyck Sea View Suite and it was a great choice, located on the 12th floor, the views were amazing. We booked transport via the hotel and the driver was exactly where he said he would be when we arrived, clear name placard and easy to find. This was HUGE for us and really made for a great first impression. Professional gentleman, clean car, and easy arrival after 20 hours of travel. Only small issues as an FYI: 1) Breakfast wasn't mentioned and then was a bit awkward to get details on. You take it in Paul's and tell the waiter your room number and you have ~22 per person USD to select whatever you want. Seems to work for anything at anytime. 2) House keeping forgot something every single day, either coffee, shampoo, or similar. Overall the hotel is a great choice for a tourist needing a good base for relaxing and enjoying the city. Wonderful hotel.
