Because the cherry blossom season, the Kyoto room is too expensive, I have set it around the lake. The hotel is very close to Omihachiman Station, and it is very convenient to other cities. It is only half an hour to Kyoto, and the fare is also suitable. Five minutes walk, there are many foods near the station. I recommend a ramen on the first floor. There is also a large AEON, which is convenient for shopping. The hotel room is not small, breakfast is OK, it is Western style. Almost all Japanese are staying. The bed was very comfortable to sleep, the room was arranged reasonably, the air conditioner did not face the bed, and it would not feel like blowing people all night. I cannot rate this place highly enough. The man at the check-in was so accommodating and kind. The AC was a beast, and kept us very comfortable. The fridge and little coffee maker came in very handy. The rooms are just beautiful, and each has access to a lovely Japanese style garden. Yukata are included with the room during your stay, and are so comfortable to laze around in after a shower. It’s very close to the local attractions, like the castle grounds, moat, and museum. Nearby restaurants are tasty and reasonably priced. This is not just a place to dump your bags and leave. It’s a lovely spot to relax and spend some time going over plans for tomorrow, sharing a pot of tea (also included in the room), or soaking in the giant sake barrel, converted to be used as a bathtub! This place used to be the residence of the owner of the sake brewery right across the street (another neat little attraction), so there are two barrels, one large, one HUGE, to soak in. It's a quiet escape from the noise of the big city. I'll definitely come back here!
