We stayed 2 nights in hotel, to visit Miyazaki. We took bus from airport to hotel, got off at bus stop just opposite to hotel. 2 minutes to bus stop, we took bus to visit major sightseeing points, for example, 鵜戶神宮 (a traditional and special Japanese temple, which must be visited by bus or by car, no train). It is very convenient, even thought it is not near train station, 15-20 min by walk, taking bus to train station is only few minutes. In train station, we can easily take bus to hotel. There are some restaurants within 10 minutes. Although the room is normally small in Japan, we think the room is good enough, clean and with electric kettle. The shower is very good, stable hot water supply and good pressure. And there are some automatic selling machine for drinks, ice maker for free. The staff can speak little English, they are passion to serve everyone.FromUS$60.00

Good value for money. It was 5 minutes away from the downtown area and the area around the hotel was quiet. The hotel feels soft, but it is the only hotel where three people can stay at this price. Room is spacious in Japanese standard with an excellent view by the sea. Scenic spots at Miyazaki along the coast are within an hour's drive. There are 2 restaurants which offer buffet breakfast at your choice. Choice of food is many for the western-Japanese restaurant but not the Chinese-Japanese one. while the quality of food at both is exceptional. Location is a bit far away from city centre by walking distance. The spa is reasonably good, though not as close as we may expect from the main hall and also a bit difficult to locate. Hotel is thoughtful in offering warm outer jackets which you may use when walking to the hot bath as there are open areas. Overall a very pleasant stay for a family of three. We will definitely stay in the same hotel when travelling there again,

The hotel gave one a grand feeling upon entry - ample of space and the decoration was modern. The room was upgraded to the premier floor - 2 semi double beds Ocean View Room, very comfortable for two persons. The hotel is definitely constructed for a resort area providing varies type of out door activities. Unfortunately during my two nights stay was unable to enjoy the facilities because of the inclement weather. However would like to mention that could still enjoy the excellent dinner and breakfast and the hot spring bath. For those occupants leaving the hotel there were staff at the main entrance to provide towel and umbrella. This is commendable. On the whole had a good and comfortable stay plus all staff were polite and helpful. Will definitely return on next occasion.

The location of this hotel is so good. Downstairs is the bus station, train station and the office. Foreigners can buy a bus ticket for 1,500 yen a day downstairs. The room is quite large and has a sofa. Clean and good environment, surrounded by parks, science museums, etc.

Conveniently located <5mins from the station and 2mins from Aoshima island. I stayed in the mixed tatami dorm which was comfortable but without much privacy. The bed was good and warm but not too hot. However the hostel has a weird layout - the kitchen is only accessible via the bathroom or the dorm room, so anyone who wants to use the kitchen must go through the bedroom if the bathroom is in use - waking people up in the early morning. On my first night people were up talking loudly on the balcony outside until midnight which was a bit thoughtless. If I came back to Aoshima I would stay here again as it’s the cheapest place but I think it’s better to do a day trip from miyazaki

Reading reviews on TripAdvisor, I was expecting the worse but what a surprise! The room was large with 2 twin bed. Room looks like it has been recently refreshed with new wall paper and configuration. The shower was smallish but adequate and well stock with everything one's needs to start the day. There was hot bath facilities although not truly onsen as in the Japanese term. Breakfast was of good quality and adequate choice. Free coffee and gassy drinks near reception. For the price one's pay, you cannot ask for more. As I was there merely to enjoy the Sakura, I hardly stay in the room except to sleep so I am perfectly happy with this facility. I would recommend this to anyone on short stay or a business trip on a Budget.
