We have stayed at the Eo Inn many times in the past, with the most recent being Saturday 8/8/20. It is in the heart of downtown, across the street from the NW corner of Lake Eola. It is also an easy walk to restaurants and other shops in the area. We have generally opted for the King Balcony, which provides a long shaded balcony area and a wonderfully comfortable bed. The rooms are very reasonably priced with free parking included. The Inn is old but clean and well-maintained. Some services, such as the free coffee in the lobby have been suspended due to Covid 19. Check-in / out is easy with mask requirements and distancing maintained. The Innkeeper at the front desk is as friendly and helpful as ever and much appreciated. Eo Inn is our "go to" place when we visit our son in Downtown Orlando!

This place was great. The hotel was undergoing renovations while we were there and while the staff warned us about it, we never heard anything. The renovations looked great and our room was one of the finished rooms. My traveling companion and myself both really liked the room we had. The renovations serve the hotel well. What really made this hotel stand out was the staff. We interacted with many different staff members and it’s evident that management must be doing something well. The front desk staff were always cheerful and happy to help in any way they could with any request. If any question or issue arose (we had zero issues), the staff handles everything very quickly and will follow up later on to make sure all is well. Deborah certainly embodies customer service and she truly made our time spent in Orlando better than expected. She made us feel like family and my companion and myself chatted with her every morning—her personality is perfect for her job. She is a very hard worker and one evening I watched her bounce between working the front desk and being a server at the café. She did it with ease and without complaint. She is wonderful and is an asset to the property. The sweet and kind ladies at the bar were also great. Both Maria and Debra were appreciated by us during our stay. They remembered our drink order every morning and would start to work on our order when they’d see us enter the lobby each morning. They were always smiling and would inquire about our plans and would offer insight on places to eat or things to do. The two also learned our names quickly and would ask each of us about the other when we were not together. It felt sincere and I appreciated their hospitality and kindness. I also talked to the manager there. I don’t recall her name, but I do remember that she had been in the Marriott family for a number of years. She was fantastic and funny and we both liked chatting with her every time we’d see her. A staff member mentioned to me that she admired the manager and respected the way she treated everyone…and it shows. There was another manager I spoke with (perhaps he was the business director?) and he was also very gracious and validated how outstanding his staff is. All in all, should I find myself back in downtown Orlando, I’d be happy to stay here again. I really liked how this place operates and how much I actually felt like I was part of their family. I find that not many places take the time to make their guests feel the way I did while staying here. I stay at a wide range of hotels for my job and this place stood out on many levels. Even at mid-to-high range places, staff are certainly helpful, cordial and kind, but this Courtyard gives the more expensive places a run for their money. I hope the staff gets rewarded for all the hard work they do and the level of customer service they deliver. Keep up the great work!

This is the hotel you want to stay at when coming to the Orlando area. The Embassy suites is located in the prime location in downtown Orlando and away from all the tourist traps that you find around the Disney world pars. However, there are still many attractions in the vicinity of the hotel that does not require you to drive anywhere. Everything is within the walking such as Lake Eola, ample of restaurants, dance clubs/ bars, Amway concert house, and much more. The hotel itself is also good value for your money. It offers free high quality accommodations, breakfast, internet, free drinks and snaks on happy hour, not to mention the hotel is very clean and sper nice staff that make you feel at home.

Pleased to be at this hotel for a travel assignment. My room upgrade has a stellar view overlooking the water and stunning sunset views. Nicole checked me in and despite some shortfalls on my company’s side got me through smoothly and courteously. Thanks Nicole! Everything is clean and sanitary. No pool access but gym is available for use on a first come first serve basis. It’s sanitized after each use. Missing the usual hot breakfast but all in all a very convenient location. Only surprise is the 1030pm train that comes blazing thru hand on horn every night. It’s close to the train tracks. Otherwise love it here!

Selected this hotel for a family trip. The staff is great and very obliging although after staying several days, cleaning of room, or clean towels is just nasty. I'm not used to that. We did not spend alot of time in the rooms however, having a crisp bed, clean towels, clean restrooms I would think might be essential during these Covid times. Not sure I would come back. Parking at $26. A day is a little ridiculous too. Did my laundry, washers are expensive too. No coffee in the room is not good customer service. No complimentary anything. Not even water. Hilton properties are better than this. Disappointing to me.

Well, this was our 3rd stay at the Grand Bohemian and we more than likely won’t return. We had a 2 night stay reserved using 80,000 points. We checked in late on a Friday night and went to the room (1214) to drop off our bags and then headed out for dinner and to partake in the surrounding nightlife. Upon returning which was quite late we crawled straight into bed. After waking up, getting out of bed and opening the drapes I was horrified to see stains on the bottom sheet! Almost like someone had coffee in bed and spilt it and then housekeeping just made up the bed. Honestly, I don’t think our room was properly cleaned at all! Hair all over the tile floor in the bathroom, there was also toenail clippings and other dirtiness on the carpet. Obviously, no one had vacuumed the floors either! We were very grossed out to say the least!! It appeared that we were put into a room that had not been properly serviced for a new check in. We showered quick and got ready and I called quest services to report the problems. He said that it was very unacceptable and that he would have someone take care of the room while we were out for the day. We returned about 5-6 hours later and we went upstairs to get changed for dinner to find our room still untouched by housekeeping!! We went down to the front desk and spoke with a manager who put us into a different room (1417) which was a one bedroom suite which was pretty nice and she also gave us a $50 food and beverage credit. The new room however had an annoying vent fan in the bathroom that you could not turn off and we had to listen to that constant hum all night long! Needless to say, we didn’t have a great sleep. The workout room was disappointing and small with one of the three treadmills out of order. It definitely needed some updating. Bottom line, for a hotel of this caliber we were very disappointed with these shortcomings! On a high note, the staff that we had interactions with were all very friendly.

We had such a nice stay at this hotel. The service was OUTSTANDING - we were so blown away by how nice everyone was and were particularly impressed with all the help and kindness we received from Eric and Domingo. They really made our trip. The room was very nice - standard but clean. Walls were quite thin so very easy to hear people in the hallway and in other rooms. The window blinds didnt shut completely so a bit of light came in but not the end of the world. There was an outdoor pool and hot tub - there were lots of chairs in the sun and shade which was perfect for us. There was a wall around the area which shielded us from the wind. There was an indoor bar and restaurant but we didnt dine there. There was a ton of road construction in the area which made getting ubers/taxis very tough. Sometimes we would wait 20-30 minutes for an uber where usually we'd wait max 5 mins in other areas of Orlando. It was about a 5 minute drive to the bar district - not walk-able as no clear path.

Just wanted to write a quick review because a day before check-in we received an email regarding construction being done at this hotel. I decided to check out the most recent reviews and became nervous over the bad reviews left in the past few days. My boyfriend and I were traveling with my mother and our dog and wanted things to go smoothly. We had a wonderful stay. Other than two of the four elevators being out of service for updating we did not notice any construction being done. Everyone was friendly and super accommodating. Rooms were clean, bar area was fun, no loud construction happening at night. We also had hot/cold running water. So glad we stayed here.

My review is for my wedding, rehearsal dinner and 2 night stay at the Marriott - During these hard times with the pandemic, planning and executing a wedding was thought to be a nightmare. With all the sudden changes and unplanned mishaps, my wedding turned out to be absolutely perfect and I owe it all to Lashonta with the Marriott. She ensured that we had the best wedding weekend! Everything worked out to be absolutely perfect. Every single guest raved about Lashonta! Her expertise, great communication, eye for details and amazing personality helped make our day incredible!! Even when my coordinator failed to provide services the night before the wedding, Lashonta stepped up and executed everything. When everything was getting stressful with the last minute coordinator fail, Lashonta personally stepped in without hesitation. I honestly cannot thank her enough for all of her help!! She is an incredible woman and we could not have done it without her. Lashonta is by far Marriott’s hidden gem. Not only was Lashonta amazing, but the entire staff who hosted our rehearsal dinner and everyone who assisted with the wedding was incredible and very friendly! I would highly recommend The Marriott Downtown Orlando for anyone to experience the perfect wedding!

This is the best (and really only) game in town if you have a reason to be at ORMC. It's a 1/2 block walk from ORMC in a well lit environment. Rooms are clean and nicely decorated. Quiet. Carpet around the bed was a little grungy though. Julie on the desk was very accommodating and welcoming on check in. I left the car with the ORMC valet at $5 for as long as you want to leave it - no ins and outs - compared to Hampton's $15. Here's a thought for the traveler, park in the ORMC lot and schlepp your bags to Hampton to avoid the $15 charge. Hotel breakfasts have always left something to be desired and with COVID they are even less thrilling. I did learn how long to NOT microwave a Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwich though. One other issue is where to eat non-breakfast meals. If you look on Google for places to eat around the Hampton you won't find very many. Certainly none of the usual fast food places and few (if any) sit down places within walking distance of Hampton or ORMC. The ORMC cafeteria is "okay" institutional food, but not a "destination" eating place. If you're at ORMC for a medical reason, food may not be your most pressing concern. Just find me a quiet place to rest my idea and brain. i would certainly recommend the Hampton for stays if your travels take you to this part of Orlando.

Disneyland Resort
We originally booked 5 nites through Groupon at a very reasonable discounted rate and decided to stay an additional 2 nites and found a much better rate thru The property and limited amenities (due to COVID-19) are very nice and the staff that we had direct dealings with were great. However the in room fridge barely cools a bootle of water, even after being switched out by maintenance. And the toilet and sink were (and still is) slow to drain this even after being serviced by maintenance. It’s not enough to check out or become irate about, but it is annoying and I will be contact guest services again after posting this review. 😉

So first I want to say that Beatrice, Shawnte and Ashley were the stars of this vacation for my family. It was a rough start and we checked in during the wee hours of the morning to escape a previous property. Beatrice checked us in without any hiccups and was very knowledgeable in general. She answered every question I had. Beatrice was truly a ray of Sunshine on a ROUGH NIGHT to say the least. Ashley was always upbeat, responsive and helpful no matter what chaos was around her and finally Shawnte... she was the person who actually resolved our biggest issues during our stay. I didn't give a 5 because the breakfast was very limited: eggs, precooked pancakes, sausage or bacon. There was no decaf already made but they happily made some for me. There were maybe 3 or 4 cereal options. This limited version is 100% due to COVID so I get it but as a family with allergies, it just didn't help at all. The rooms - the bathrooms weren't as clean as I would like. There were random hairs in various places. I called down to describe the issue a total of 4 times and each time was promised that someone would tend to it. No one did until I talked to Shawnte on our second to last day. She made sure the rooms were cleaned while we went out the enjoy the day and we came back to clean rooms. It took 3 days but eventually it got done, thanks to Shawnte. Also, on the last day a housekeeper walked in on my guy in his undies. She didn't knock or anything. She was very apologetic but isn't protocol to knock and wait for a reply? ijs... Last issue was that I saw several people walking through the lobby without masks and going on and off the elevators mask-free. Not cool. I talked to Ashley about it and she mentioned a 3 strikes rule. I am not sure how well it is enforced but it did make me wonder how focused they are on protecting the inside of the hotel. Oh, they don't have smart TV's so not streaming or Netflix is possible. They do offer a good array of channels though. That said, we quite enjoyed our stay and the pool which was pretty quiet most of the time. The rooms are nice and comfortable. The hotel is pretty too. You can tell it is an older property but they keep it pretty clean in the common areas and it is central to EVERYTHING.

Universal Studios Area
Going to Universal Studios and choosing this hotel nearby, the price is very high. Stayed for three nights, including breakfast, less than 2,000 RMB. Next time I go to the world, I must still live here. Room: What impressed me the most was that the room was super big and there was 30+ flat. I thought that like this kind of hotel chain would be like a domestic 7 days, a room is enough to put a bed. The room has an air-conditioning and heating machine, a 1.8-meter bed, a sofa coffee table desk, and a coffee machine refrigerator microwave. There is only one drawback. The toilet in such a large room is small and not very harmonious. The room only has shower gel shampoo conditioner, no toothbrush and toothpaste, but you can go to the front desk for free. Restaurant: Breakfast included, the style is very rich, although the same every day, but I did not eat the same three days. It's fun to have an automatic pancake machine. Press a button and it will squeeze out a creamy look. Then, like a toaster, it will become a pancake. It will be a pancake every time. It is delicious with honey butter. . Facilities: There is a water dispenser next to the restaurant in the lobby, and a hot and cold espresso machine is available 24 hours. That is, hot water is not available very quickly, and water is not often renewed. Shuttle bus: To the shuttle bus to Universal Studios, you need to make an appointment at the front desk. It is free, there is a time limit, and the reservation is not full, but I did not go to the appointment in order to catch up early. It is very convenient to play UBER, and you can go to the world around 10 knives. The shuttle bus will pick up at several hotels, which is a bit of a hassle. Not bad, it will hit UBER, very close. But walking is impossible.

Wow! Had a wonderful stay. Hotel was very nice, won us over big time. Room was on par, actually nicer than other Hilton’s in area that we’ve stayed..common areas and pool, water life and lazy river all better than expected. Pool is comparable to that of Bonnet Creek but loved the fire pits and multiple pools and hot tubs scattered throughout. Would definitely compare this property to Four Seasons orlando, right down to the chandelier overlooking the stairs and outdoor area. This hotel is head and shoulders above the others in this chain. We have stayed at all Hilton and Doubletree hotels in area and in the past I didn’t see or feel a huge difference between the two chains. This hotel was different, not only by its looks but also by how the employees treated you and the service provided. It felt more like an upscale hotel hence the FSO comparison. Will be back for sure! Breakfast included for HH gold was wonderful included eggs, bacon and basically anything u want. I think there was a charge to upgrade to get the omelet bar but completely unnecessary given the selection of food. Coffee served at breakfast was good too and we are pour over coffee snobs so that’s saying a lot. That said, negatives (small but will mention) were shower pressure was low and house keeping turned the thermostat down (I think they did but I could have done by accident) and when we returned at 10:30pm from a looong day at Disney with two young ones it was freezing. Called for blankets and they never arrived. Finally almost an hour later my husband called to cancel so they wouldn’t wake us up. Sleep was affected that night due to temp (we turned everything completely off bc heat was still blowing cold air.) I’m over it and it wasn’t a deal breaker at all. Regardless to any complaints, Thanks for a great stay! I only mention now so you have the feedback to improve. Can’t wait to see the new lobby upon our return. Will definitely be back soon!

I placed my reservation through for "Rodeway Inn". When I arrived at the hotel apparently it had changed to Clarion Inn. When I walked into the lobby it looked like it was thrown together in 5 minutes. Just an empty room with 3 makeshift desks, no decor. Not welcoming at all just like the employees. Walking up to the clerks I did not receive any sort of greeting. I stood there for 5-10 minutes while they carried on a conversation before they decided to acknowledge my presence and help me. The cashier that confirmed my reservation even stopped processing my paperwork to go on Facebook to read comments on a post. We finally got our room key and made our way to our room which was on the 4th floor. We had no idea where the elevators were because there were no signs. When we found the elevators, they did not work so I had to lug all my stuff up 4 flights of stairs, which was a disgusting experience in itself. It smelled like pee and at one point someone threw their garbage in the stair well. My room was less than spectacular. My reservation said there was a refrigerator, there was no refrigerator in the room. Just an empty spot where it was supposed to be. The beds were not comfortable and it felt like I was sleeping on a concrete slab. Overall the only good thing about the hotel is it's location on I-drive. It's within walking distance of plenty of restaurants and stores. Very disappointed
