Honolulu
|6.27km from city centerA little distance from Waikiki Beach, the quiet of the hotel, the hotel's own beach is relatively small. You can see the Diamond Head Mountain, some sea views, and the scenery is not bad. The bed was too soft and it was not very comfortable to sleep. The environment in the room is general, the law is quite satisfactory.

Ko'Olina Resort
Honolulu
|27.48km from city centerThis was the most amazing vacation! Staying at this Villa (B-709) was a dream come true. We had a perfect view of the ocean, the pristine lagoons and the beautiful grounds at the Ko'Olina Beach Villas. We spent so much time on the Lanai and just enjoyed the breathtaking view. The sunsets were spectacular! Meg was our main contact to make the reservations and answered my many questions. Our on-site hostess was Nicole, she greeted us at the front desk of the resort and showed us around the Villa and gave us lots of good information. Some of our favorites: Visiting the ABC Island Market - trust me - the food there is fabulous! We actually enjoyed the Prime Rib dinner on two different occasions. They have lots of yummy options that are very affordable. Some great activities in the area (for all ages) are: Train Ride from the Hawaiian Railway Society - only has train rides on a few days of the week. Of Course - Snorkeling in the Lagoons! We also saw dolphins (from our Lanai) playing in the ocean. We didn't get to take the Catamaran ride out of the Ko' Olina Marina, but it looked like it would be a great activity. Some of our family hiked Diamond Head and Snorkeled in Hanauma Bay - important information - you need reservations for both of these activities. We also visited a number of the beautiful Botanical Gardens and found new places to visit: Lyon Arboretum , Ho'omaluhia, KoKo Crater, Manoa Falls, and now our new favorite place to visit is Tantalus Lookout. (especially at sunset!) We really looked forward to going back to the Villa each evening. The kitchen was well equipped, the beds were comfortable, and it has great air conditioning. The Lanai runs completely across the front of the Villa - from the Master bedroom, to the main living area, then to the guest room. The Villa had two nice sized bedrooms and bathrooms. Nice big dining and living room areas, fabulous kitchen with everything you would need to cook all types of meals. Many spices were available for us to use, plus they also had Tupperware, laundry soap, dish soap, paper towels, etc. The closet in the master bedroom had all sorts of great beach items - chairs, boogie boards, snorkeling gear and even a wagon to take everything to the beach! No doubt that this will be the only Villa we will book for future vacations. Thank you Meg, Nicole and Andre for the most wonderful vacation ever!! With Sincere Appreciation, Mahalo and Aloha, The Rogers Family

Waikiki
Honolulu
|3.4km from city centerIt was Hawaii for the first time in 4 years after the corona was damaged. Of course, it's been 4 years for the first time at Caria Tower. I have participated in a yacht with breakfast as an owner's privilege. Very satisfied. Hilton Hawaiian Village is close to Ala Moana and convenient for shopping! The beach is also nearby and you can swim every day, and guests have free towel tickets.

Waikiki
Honolulu
|3.45km from city centerWe selected this hotel because it was the cheapest option for a short stay for 6 people since they had a suite option with a pullout couch and most hotels in the Waikiki area didn't. In that sense it was okay and served our purpose. But we couldn't use the balcony because of construction but we saw no construction being worked on. We didn't need to use the pool because it was a short stay but due to the construction the pool is not in use either. It didn't make sense they charge you a daily per day fee for amenities you can't use. And we had trouble with the hot water (twice.) The $30 breakfast is not worth it. What the hotel lacks in desirability, they make up for with the friendliness of the staff. From the restaurant staff to parking staff to the front desk staff, everyone was super nice, lovely and accommodating. When our hot water went out, the next morning they offered another room to shower in. They removed our daily hotel fee because of our troubles with the hot water. The location is next to a brewery and across the street from food trucks which is good. I wish the Hiking Cafe opened before 7a because we would have like to have breakfast there before we went hiking at Diamondhead (the irony!) I would probably only stay here again if my budget was an issue since this was affordable compared to other options. Need some to-go, affordable breakfast options. And fair warning, our hotel room was across from an apartment building and they could easily see in. It was nice to see the Wyland painting across the way. Last thing- the left full size bed in the suite was covering the electrical outlet halfway making it unusable. We used the lamps to charge our phones at night, but seems like a waste of an outlet.

|3.54km from city centerChecked in the report is smooth, the front desk staff is just doing her job. Not too much interest in the hotel guests. There were not an ocean front building so even we booked an ocean front premiere 2 bedrooms unit. There are one building in front of us and we only have 1/2 facing the ocean and the other half is looking at the city street. It’s a nice new building but amenities is very limited. Pools were not open until 9 or 10 am. No coffee or refreshments in the front check in or out. It’s just a decent condominium rental.

|5.31km from city centerHotel location is about 150 meters from the beach, next to the Aston Hotel, the location is not bad, when the credit card forgot to stay in the room, please contact us in time, regret not giving some tips, the service is good, parking $ 32 excluding tax, Need a driver to help you stop, take the key when you go. The bathtub is relatively easy to block, and there is such a small bug crawling on the room table. It is estimated that it is because of the tide, it is not particularly affected, and it is generally good.

|3km from city centerThe hotel brand is not very eye-catching, and it is not easy to find it. The airport shuttle bus is directly sent to the hotel entrance. You need to climb a staircase to find the front desk. Check in at 3 pm, it is useless to go early, but you can store your luggage first. When you check in, you must pay attention to seeing the options. Otherwise, you will receive more than 20 knives of parking fees every day. After discovering it, you will return the fee after talking to the front desk. It is a few minutes walk from the convention center and shopping centre, not far from the beach.

|4.8km from city centerJapanese hotel, we arrived late and helped me upgrade to the suite. The house is large enough to cook. There is a swimming pool. At night the water is a bit cold. You can soak in the heated swimming pool. When booking, it is stated that there is no resort fee. Late in Hawaii is very cheap. After we check out, we can see that the price has risen to more than 1,000 a night.

Not daily room cleaning, 2 times a week The only satisfaction is the hotel parking service, vallet, no tipping, so good service soon Many foreigners live, compared to Hilton next, the price is OK, it looks like Hilton is also a window machine.

|4.73km from city centerThis review has to do solely with the staff which is why I rated them 5. A separate response regarding the hotel itself will be posted at a later date. I specifically want to say that the staff over all were amazing. Even when there seemed to be chaos with the amount of people coming and going they were always helpful and went out their way to accommodate and assist me. If you decide to stay here, REQUEST MRS JOSIE FOR YOUR ROOM SERVICE!!!!! I cannot stress this enough. I came here for a surgical procedure that put me in a sling with very little mobility. I had meal prepped all of my stuff in preparation for the recovery but she was the only room service staff (mind you I had 3 different clean my room) that washed my dishes because she saw me in my sling. Multiple times the other employees cleaning my room saw me in a sling unable to move my arm yet they never washed them. Mrs Josie was the only one who did. Something so small but also so kind. I requested her clean my room for the duration of my stay and she was amazing. Again, I will have another post regarding the hotel itself but unfortunately I don’t have enough time because it’ll be a long one. Again, The staff is amazing overall.

|3.48km from city centerWe had 4 nights at the Waikiki Monarch and found it to be a strange experience. We booked it through Booking.com and stayed in apartment 2703A. On the positive side, our apartment had an amazing view of Waikiki, right out to the ocean, as well as along the canal – very inspiring! The location also was very good, situated on the western end of Wikiki. It was only a 10min walk to the beach and about 10min over to Ala Moana Mall and beach park. There was a good internet-enabled TV with about every channel and streaming service you could want – really a nice setup. On the negative side, the apartment was not very well cleaned upon our arrival, especially the floor. A couple of the dining chairs and the couch were covered in stains and were downright disgusting. The apartment was lacking a few basics, such as bedside cabinets and dressers/drawers for storing clothes. I had to lay out all my clothes on the floor along the hallway wall. We also felt the lighting was quite dim in the evenings. The kitchen was small and outfitted with only the basics. The kitchen faucet was loose and about ready to fall off – a little basic maintenance would’ve been nice. Another thing that was odd was that there was no reception or other onsite staff which could be called on if required. We were told to collect our key from a little lock box. We arrived at around 1pm, and since we weren’t allowed to check in until the very late hour of 4pm, we asked if we could store our bags and were told we actually had to pay for bag storage ($5/bag) for the 3 hours. It’s the first time we’ve ever had the experience of having to pay for bag storage at the hotel while waiting for check-in! Not impressed! In any case, we won’t be staying here anytime soon. Not recommended – there are so many far better places to stay in Waikiki. Don’t make the mistake we did.

|4.29km from city centerJust behind Halekulani, you can also walk to the beach in a few minutes. It's a new hotel so the interior was very clean. However, I stayed there for my birthday and requested items in advance, but perhaps they didn't coordinate well. There was nothing prepared in the room, so when I told them again at the front desk, they gave me wine. My only regret was that it wasn't smooth and took a lot of effort, but the hotel was comfortable.

|4.89km from city centerWhen you stay at a hotel that has a roach trip in the room...does anything else need to be said? Okay, great location. Also, a super fun bar (Wang Chung's) inside the lobby, one of the best in Waikiki. After that...blah. The bed was comfortable, except for the fact that my feet hung off the bed....and I'm just a medium-tall person. Pancakes at IHOP thicker then their pillows...and I'm barely exaggerating. TV never worked. There were big rainstorms, which was their excuse....but after 3 days of bright sunshine, still no tv. Even then, there's so little furniture in the room that you can't even see the TV cuz the lamp covers it up...you have to place the lamp on the floor to see the TV, when it works. Finally...manager....PLEASE stop pulling your mask down to speak with guests. You should know better.

Another special thanks to Dana, who kept me on constant supply of delicious speciality coffee! |4.71km from city centerDon’t book a room cheaply!
*Environmental location, next to Wakiki Beach and on the main road, it is very convenient to be connected in all directions. Convenience stores and restaurants, trolly stations, public beaches, and zoos are all very close and within walking distance.
*Room facilities, the hotel has a history of a hundred years, so it is very stylish, but the city view room in the Diamond Building is so bad! ! ! ! Not as good as the new 3 star hotel rooms. (Pictured below are the benefits of room upgrade with the Marriott Platinum Card. I booked the cheapest room, but it turned out that booking through a third party did not provide any membership benefits. In the Maui fire, the hotel was full, and I wanted to upgrade temporarily but there was no room). The room is old, with an area of less than 20 square meters. Morning and night, I am woken up either by cars on the road or by the phone in the next room. A very bad experience!
* Service, remind the guests to check the bill carefully. After staying for 5 nights, the wrong bill was charged on 4 days. They checked it out one by one when they checked out, and the wrong money was refunded after 4 days.
In short, don't try to be cheap when booking a room. The small and shabby room type is not as good as staying in Hyatt or Marriott. The price/performance ratio is too low!

Also, very upset when I pre-booked the reservation through a 3rd party and as well paid in full, and on confirmation sheet states that room and everything else PAID ALREADY, WHEN CHECKING IN THERE WILL ONLY BE A BALANCE OF $46 IN TAXES.
Well, when I checked in I was told that I would still need to pay $45 a day for the resort fees daily which totalled $85 I still would owe. Parking, I was told by the Front Desk would be $50 a night ( insane )!

|4.75km from city centerThe Waikiki Agua Aloha Surf Hotel is a hotel close to Waikiki Beach, with convenient food, shopping, and public transportation. The hotel's facilities are also basically complete, there are cafes, breakfast rooms, outdoor swimming pools, fitness rooms, foot baths and so on. Usually booked with breakfast, breakfast is close to Chinese food. Breakfast should be good, the customer reviews are divided, it is estimated that tourists from big cities in mainland China have become accustomed to their own dining content and form; tourists from the United States or other countries or regions are used to another The content and form of the meal are different in their respective expectations. The so-called publicity is difficult to adjust. Less than satisfactory, the room is less soundproof, the room is smaller, the air conditioning is old and hidden under long curtains. In any case, the biggest advantage is that you can walk near the beach for about ten minutes. The price/performance ratio is relatively high. Will come later.

|3.48km from city centerThis's my first time booking through ”trip” app. I glad i did. Our room is corner views where we got both the view from diamond head and oceanfront. This's the best experience i have. We arrived at the hotel on a Friday night around 7pm Hawaii time. Didn't expect they were doing fireworks around 8pm. I got to see it right from my window view. Omg.....i was breaking in tears where i haven't experience of fireworks this close before. I wish they allow video reviews in here where i can share my recording of the fireworks to you all. My daily views from my room are the best everyday and night throughout our stay. We walked around the beaches, restaurants and stores around the hotel area everynight before bed. Anyway, thank you for the awesome experience and memories. Love it so much and totally recommend.

|9.58km from city centerThe most satisfying hotel during the whole trip is indeed a five-star hotel. Although it is a little distance from wakiki, the hotel has everything, and I don't need to go elsewhere. Several of the hotel's own restaurants are unique and the food is delicious. There are many Japanese, and there are basically no Chinese. The driver who took us to the hotel said that the location of the hotel belongs to the rich area, and they also praised the hotel's reputation. The room itself is very large. Opening the window is the hotel's own golf course. I will stay there next time.

Ko'Olina Resort
Honolulu
|27.27km from city centerFirst off, we’ve been staying here for 18 years. We love the lagoons and it’s away from the hustle and bustle of Waikiki. We’re the “lay on the beach all day” type of family so this place is our favorite resort. Every room we’ve had through the years has been clean, wonderful views, except one time we had a parking lot view, which was fine since we’re at the beach most of the time. Cons: The pool chair hogs and check out time. They should really implement a system like other resorts. Most chairs are empty all day with a towel saving the spot and no one sitting there for hours. Our one time at the pool, we only got seats later in the afternoon at 3pm. Also check out time at 10am is way too early. Would be nice to check out at noon like other places. Now for the Pros, the resort and lagoons are beautiful. The water is warm, my teenagers like to snorkel at the end of the lagoon. We typically stay in a 1 or 2 bedroom villa, this past stay it was nice to see the Nai’a tower remodeled. Love the full kitchen and in room laundry/dryer. My daughter loves to participate in the daily resort activities - lei making, ti leaf bracelets and temporary tattoos. My son frequents the gym and it is 24 hours. Plus for the peloton bikes! Now for the staff. I love their aloha spirit, so warm and friendly. They are fantastic! I need to give a shout out to Melvin Ratto - Resort Ambassador. I met him in one of our past stays at the cabana hut. We came back another time, he remembered us as well. This past week, he personally came by our beach cabana to say hello! He really is the best, makes sure our stay is comfortable! Shannon at the bell desk is awesome, gave us some food recommendations which was nice. The cabana hut workers Kalai, Nathan, Jordan and Braedon, also super friendly, personable, great guys! Maintaining great attitudes for working in the heat all day. Our housekeeper Melban, very understanding for coming back at a later time to clean our room. Thanks to the staff for making our stay wonderful. We always have a great time staying here and hope to continue coming back.

|4.1km from city centerThe location of the hotel is not on the main street, but it is also very close to the sea, just across the road. The lady at the front desk is very friendly, but the check-in time is after 4:00 p.m. We had to wait five or six hours for our early flight, which made me a little irritable. Most hotels in Hawaii check in at this point, and there will be a lot of people, so it is better to choose a flight to arrive at night, so you can check in directly and avoid the rush hour.
The hotel is old and the facilities are very old, but it is clean. The room is very big, and it is a bit uncomfortable to fly from Japan.
There is an infinity pool on the 6th floor of the hotel. It is not very big, but it is not bad. Next time I come back, I should choose a few new hotels on the main street.
Oh yes, there will be fireworks on Friday night, remember to watch it~

The completeness of the trip is greatly enhanced by the scenery of the sea and sky that changes every moment in the morning/lunch/dinner.
The staff here are very friendly, and the shopping/restaurants are great, especially since it's in the center of the city. The sea can be reached on foot, so be sure to rent a sunbed/parasol/beach towel (free) on the first floor and go to Waikiki Beach 👍👍👍

|4.44km from city centerApartments (condominiums) and hotels are integrated and not classified by floor or tower.
Residents and long-term residents are mixed.
There is a front desk, and spaces such as mailboxes are the same as in apartment complexes.
There is a swimming pool, gym, sauna, barbecue, convenience store, water server, and laundry on the 6th floor.
Gym costs $5 extra.
No housekeeping due to corona. Towels can be exchanged at the front desk.
Inadequate room cleaning.
Rather than calling it a hotel, it's better to think that some rooms in an apartment are treated as a hotel.
You can't enter the building without a card key, and the gatekeeper is stationed separately from the front desk, so security is normal.
Because it is an AQUA system, you can enter HoMA and Bishop for free with a card key.
