We booked this hotel in January for a city break with two couples. The rooms were doubles and next to each other on the 4th floor. The hotel is a bit outside the city center but on the edge of the Linden district with many shops and eating places. The bus stop is just around the corner and a bit further away is a stop for the S/U Bahn (metro system). The reception personnel is friendly, the hotel lobby is large with a bar section and the restaurant is used both for lunch, dinner and breakfast. The food is good and the prices moderate. Waiters are friendly and the breakfast is quite varied with front cooking and many hot and cold dishes. You can eat breakfast from 6.30 a.m. to 10.00 a.m. and that gives you ample time to enjoy. The hotel has quite some single rooms as it is frequently used by international travelers and visitors to the Hannover Messe which seem to be alone most of the time. It is also a congress hotel with meeting rooms and this makes it a lively place although the sound level in the rooms is nicely quiet (no noise from the street nor from other rooms using water for showers). There is a quick elevator and the reception also sells the Hannover Card which gives unlimited traveling on the city transport for 1-3 days and also groups till 5 persons (its a bargain!). In all we enjoyed our stay here and we can recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Hannover.

It’s okay here. Budget hotel. The sparrow is small but complete. The breakfast is good, you can eat well and eat well. Of course, everyone has different standards. There is a REWE supermarket around. The bus is also very convenient. The only inconvenience is that if the check-in is too late, the door is locked and you need to call the front desk. Anyway, people have to be forced for a while, especially those who don't know German, haha.

Pros : Near the old city area, 10 mins walk to the town hall building and some old looking churches, but that's about it. They provide one free bottle of drinking water. Free breakfast, the usual cold cuts, bread, cereal and coffee. Toiletries come in the form of a shampoo + shower 2-in-1 gel. The bathroom is clean. They do provide kettles and pots, but you have to ask from the reception. There are some cups, plates, chopping board, spoons and forks in the kitchen cabinet. Dish detergent and sponge too. Wifi in the rooms and public area is free and signal is strong, I could stream music and videos smoothly. The radiators in the bathroom and the room work well, but do note that you have to turn the radiator to at least 4 before you feel any heat. Cons: It is in the Arab neighbourhood, lots of good kebab restaurants and a couple of halal food supermarkets, but if you are looking for usual German food, you have to go to the city centre which is 15 mins walk. Not too far, only about 1 km but when you are tired after a day's work, you really don't feel like walking. There are two Italian restaurants next door though. The road outside the hotel is under construction (and I was there for 5 days and I didn't see any progress), you have to alight on the opposite of the road if you arrive by taxi, then drag your suitcase over a bed of rocks to get to the hotel. The hotel entrance doesn't have a ramp, you have to push open the heavy door with one hand, keep it there, then hoist your suitcase up the step into the hotel with the other hand. The room looks "clean" upon entering, but when I opened the window (no air con), I saw that the windowpane was dirty, dried stains of dust mixed with rain water. Just as I thought "it was hard to clean the outside", finding an excuse for the cleaners, I placed my hand on the window ledge and there was this thick layer of dust. At that moment, I decided that "clean" doesn't belong in there. The "double" bed was made up of two twin beds pushed together, so sleeping in the middle is out of the question. There are 2 side tables, each on one side of the bed and I placed some stuff on one of them. Found a layer of dust on the other table at the end of my 4 night stay. On the duvet cover of the bed that I didn't sleep in, there were dark dusty marks as if it was used to wipe something dusty. There are only 3 clothes hangers in the closet, I asked for more but was turned down. The lady on night duty who doesn't speak much English simply said no. The hotel doesn't have air-conditioning, opening the window is the only way to get fresh air into the room. If your room face the road, that means noise from trams passing-by and church bells in the morning. If your room face the canal, that means you'll get some flies dropping by. Lastly, true to what other reviewers said, there is no lift. And you have to carry your own luggage up and down the stairs. There is no porter. There is no phone in the room, if

I stayed here during some rain in September so the weather didn't allow me to enjoy the lake nearby. I assume it's very nice in the Summer. There is an outside patio area near the lake. My room was on the second floor directly above it. I am glad it wasn't summer or I assume it could have been quite loud. My room was nice with a comfortable bed and ironing board. Breakfast was great in the morning. The gym is quite small and located in the basement. Not enough room for more than 2-3 people. I am glad I went early. The hotel is about a 15 minute walk from downtown.

We stayed within 5 days in Germany. Traveled around this beautiful country. Stayed in different hotels. But this hotel is amazing. Interrupt, service, welcoming staff, atmosphere, location. Everything is perfect. I greatly recommend this hotel to everyone.

Highly recommended. My daughter and I stayed here on our road trip from Berlin to the UK and it proved a little gem compared to other corporate hotels we used. Marcel, the owner, was very welcoming and full of information to help us enjoy our short time in Hannover. He also found a space for my car in one of his garages. There is a nearby car park which is probably perfectly safe but my car was stuffed with my daughter's belongings after her year studying in Berlin so it felt safer knowing the car was on the premises. Breakfast was excellent. Great service. If ever I'm stopping in Hannover again, I'll definitely stay here. Our room was pleasant with a well-stocked mini-bar.

We had a voucher for this hotel which we had bought for a more than reasonable price. We got a spacious and clean room (I guess it was one of the renovated ones), a very nice breakfast buffet and friendly staff. We can't complain and are more than satisfied with our stay. It is true that the entire hotel itself looks a bit outdated for a 4-stars-hotel, but again: We had a very pleasant stay for the money we paid! The only thing I want to mention for improvement reason is that the bathroom does not fit to the renovated room, as it does not look very updated. The showerhead is not high enough for taller people (I am 1,74m and had my problems), so taking a shower is not very relaxing. Anyways, the bathroom was clean so nothing to really complain about. I would stay here again.

Went on the ferry from Harwich to the Hook of Holland and drove to Hannover which took approximately 4 and half hours. The check in was effortless and was given the keys to an apartment number 103. The bedroom area was quite large with a kitchenette off it and an en-suite bathroom with twin sinks, bath with shower over and wc. The room was spotless apart from a circular rug although that wasn’t too much of a problem. The bed was extremely comfortable with white bedding, and again spotless. Towels were changed daily. The room maid came every day and it wasn’t a problem if you weren’t ready on one occasion were just vacating the room after 12 again no problem. The staff made our stay nothing was too much trouble even the elderly lady on reception wanted to carry our case to the room, obviously we didn’t let her. We did not have the breakfast because at 14 euros per person I thought it was a bit expensive, having said that the dining area looked wonderful with white table linen. There is a small bar and TV room. Don’t expect English channels apart from CNN and BBC world news. Parking is a bit difficult but the hotel did help us by moving there own vehicle to accommodate us. Getting there by public transport, from Southern England the only direct flight to Hannover is from Heathrow other than that fly to Bremen and get the train to Hannover station and the Hotel is around 8 minutes walk. Yes we would definitely stay again.

The Ghotel, is a bit off the beaten path in the Kleefeld district of Hannover. It has park like grounds and 300 plus rooms. The restaurant has several good options for dinner. The rooms are attractively furnished, very clean and up to date. The reception is helpful. To get there take the train/tram to Kantplatz and then take Bus 127 or 137 and get out at the Lidl and walk down the street a bit. We had a pleasant stay and for work this was fine as it was about 2 km from where we needed to be. For a tourist, it would be better to be more downtown.

This hotel is 130 years old and has a very good location. It is opposite the train station. The breakfast is superb. A variety of fresh ham and mushrooms are super delicious. There are many kinds of yogurt. There are many kinds of cheese. I have seen the most hearty breakfast in Europe and the United States, just as rich as the buffet breakfast at the luxury cruise. Marriott, Hilton's breakfast is simply weaker than this one. Seeing that we had a five-year-old little at the front desk, we asked the waiter to put the two beds together and added a small pillow. The breakfast was also free for the little ones. Come back to Hanover. Awesome.

This is the 2nd time staying in this hotel and yet again not been able to use the lovely spa facility it provides. The reason for this is that they only have it all operating from 5pm even when you ask at the reception desk. Im currently toying in a show so this timing is not useful to me as im only in the hotel in the day time. Has a good size gym. The rooms are comfortable and very modern with a good selection of movies and I do love that you get a free mini bar. The shower attachment this time didn't work which should be a basic check by the cleaning staff when preparing the room for the next guests.

Stayed here on a business trip. This is a airport hotel so practically so a short walk once you come out of the airport. It is a massive hotel. The lobby area is massive as well and also the restaurant where I had breakfast. Well I did arrive early as I had an early morning flight. I asked if I could get an early check in. While the official check in time was 3 PM they said the best they can do is 2 PM. Well I do understand hotel policies etc. on check in and check out times but since the hotel was not very busy with guests I expected them to give a room earlier without a charge. If the hotel was totally occupied and they have no option I understand but to be made to wait 5 hours to get the room which the hotel is not at full occupancy did not seem good at all. The hotel is quite old as it seems but still well maintained. Did not even get hotel WiFi access while I waited for my room for all these hours. The room was very big and spacious. I wanted to regulate the temperature in the room but the system was disabled. I called and they said it is completely centrally maintained and guests cannot adjust the settings. It was told I could open the windows in the room if I wanted to. Again this did not make much sense to me. Guest should have the right to make themselves comfortable with these settings and per their needs. To my surprise there was no kettle in the room. I called in to ask for one and they said at the room category I was booked in they do not provide a kettle and I needed a higher category room to get one. This was the biggest surprise of my stay. I have not seem kettle as a special utility in the room before. Wherever I have stayed it has always been standard. I paid a fair amount for my booking and something basic as kettle not provided was totally unexpected. The food experience was also quite okay. Overall not very satisfied with the stay.
