Hotels Near Kara-Bass In Kazan
0.05km from KyotoI love this hotel. I bought a room for my sister as a gift for anniversary. The manager gave me a discount. The beautiful compliment from the hotel was waiting for my sister and her husband: a delicious cheesecake in a shape of heart and a juice (usually, the hotel puts a champagne, but I mentioned on a phone that my family doesnt drink an alcohol) . The breakfast has all kinds of variety from 3 kinds of khalal meat to different kinds of cheese and source. Rooms are all equipped, modern. There is a huge deep pool, a sauna, a gym, a tiny hot-tub for two :) Breakfast, gym and spa are included into the price. The hotel offers a good deal, but it is the only one in Kazan that can offer all amenities and services in one place by the pretty reasonable price comparing with other hotels in Kazan. Actually, the prices didnt go up at all since 2007 as I remember.
0.1km from KyotoThe staff was very kind, they helped me with the early checking, room and beds were clean and tidy, I highly recommend this hostel for travellers in Kazan, also it si so well located. It is in the city center near the main touristic points
0.3km from KyotoI have stayed at so many hostels and backpackers joints around many countries, this is the first hostel i found so clean, all English speaking helpful and accomodating staff. This hostel has full kitchen facilities plus laudry and dryer/ Iron. One can buy fresh products from a supermarket at TSUM, a small shopping mall located behind the hostel (5 mins walk) going towards the Kremlin direction. The Kremlin and the famous Qol Sharif Mosques can be seen from the hostel but it is a 20 mins walk towards it. They is a 24hrs convenient store same row as the hostel and it had food stuff like sausages and ham/bacon etc. This hostel provide free coffee, English tea, green tea, rice, buckwheat, cooking oil, salt, sugar and pepper - you were never go hungry staying at this good location hostel. If you are lazy to cook, there is a delicious but a little pricey (food comes in small quantity) Italian restaurant called Pasta. Otherwise you can walk 7 mins upwards, across this hostel to the shopping district where all cafes and fast food are there. There were some guests who stayed with their young children and it was convenient for them to cook their children meals like a home away from home. Opposite the hostel is Tatsot Bank and it has foreign currencies exchange services but there are few money changers around. Hostel reception can help you call for Uber services other than taxis. The Metro or train station and bus station are located at the back of the hostel 10 to 15 mins walk. It is value for money to stay at Greography Hostel, Kazan.

0.38km from KyotoGreat location close to the train station and easy walk into town. The hostel is huge! Great use of space makes it feel more luxurious, the rooms were huge, nice to have single beds rather than bunks. Great use of double doors keep it sound proof and mean bathroom only used by 3 rooms. Nice lounge area upstairs. We were there for the world cup so understandably hugely busy and on checking in the lady said they had put us in an all boys room despite me not having chosen that, I didn't mind but others may not like this.. Very basic kitchen area ie fridge.
0.39km from KyotoIm a Diamond member at Hilton, and love going to DoubleTrees as always get bumped into a suite. Not in Kazan ;-)! First time ever got no upgrade whatsoever. Did get the early check in and check out though no prob. The most standard room turned out to be great - new, clean, great bed, and a huge shower (prob best shower i saw at Hilton!). Only problem with the room is that you cant open windows (which is weird for a 6 floor property) - i do like fresh air, but AC was adequate. Breakfast was great. Staff was friendly. Manager sent us some amazing hand-made candies up to the room - best chocolate candy i had in a while! If they serve them at the restaurant - make sure to sample. All in all a disappointing start, but turned out to be a great stay! Would come back for sure.

0.42km from KyotoI made a 2-day reservation on sep 19, 2017 for June 25-27, 2018 during the world cup for 6200 rubles total through expedia and made a separate reservation for one additional night on sep 27, 2017 for June 24 through hotels.com for 3100 rubles. I was supposed to pay at the check-in, but they asked me to pay yesterday, May 30 an inflated price of 21,300 rubles for the expedia reservation and 7100 rubles for the hotels.com reservation for one night. When I booked this hotel 9 months ago, there were many hotels available for comparable prices, but now there is basically nothing left because of the world cup. And they know I have no choice but to pay the marked up price. I called the expedia. They called the hotel and told them that what they did is wrong and original agreed price was 6200 rubles for. 2nights, not 21,300 rubles. But, they said there was a mistake in their computer when I booked the hotel, the price should’ve been 21300 (close to $400 by the exchange rate in september). by some miracle, a room became available yesterday at a 4 star hotel for $87 a night. So, I cancelled the reservation with crystal hotel and sent them email telling them that i would write a review and report them to fifa for price gouging. Guess what, they wrote back this morning immediately saying they experienced a mistake in their computer yesterday, they would like to restore my reservation for the original price of 6200 rubles. I immediately knew they were doing this in preparation for my review and expted me to say know. since i cancelled the reservation, they presumed i found an alternative acomdation already. so, they expected I would say no and then they will mention this in their response to my review. who would say yes after going through yesterdays unpleasant experience? no one, right? BUt, I said yes. Because I knew they were playing games to protect themselves. I just played along to see how far will they go. THey did not go very far at all. They sent me the same inflated new price this afternoon. what they didn’t know is I would accept offer even if they reduced the price from 6200 to 3200. I simply hate to spend a penny on dishonest businesses. THank God, i had to deal with this problem now. imagine you arrive at the hotel in city that there is no hotel room left anywhere and your hotel ask you to pay 350% of the original reservation price. STAY AWAY from this place!!!,
0.53km from KyotoFirst time my wife and I have stayed overnight at this hotel. What can I say the room we had was furnished with everything we needed for our one night stay. Bathrobes, slippers even toothbrush and toothpaste. Very very comfortable bed. Yes the paperwork is a little tiresome on arrival but you have to remember this is the way things are done in Russia. The Reception staff were most helpful, informative and obliging. We arrived at the hotel at 14:15 hours. After taking our suitcases to our room we availed ourselves of the business lunch. A fantastic four course lunch finished off with coffee all for 530 roubles each (£6). Our waitress Alena remembered my wife and I from our previous visits sometime ago for business lunch. Alena is a credit to the Ramada organisation. Her customer service is amazing and of such high quality. Morning breakfast was everything you could wish for. A buffet with a wonderful choice. Cereals, fruits, vegetables, pancakes, toast, cakes, yoghurts and freshly cooked omelettes which I would urge anyone to try. Great taste. Fresh fruit juices and as much tea and coffee as you can drink. If you get the opportunity when in Kazan you must treat yourself to a stay at this hotel. It is in my view 5 star.
0.55km from KyotoGreat Hotel in a good location. The Kremlin and Baumana street are in walking distance. Public transportation is really close and even a taxi from the airport is reasonable (book through Uber or Gett not the airport taxi stand). The train station is 5 minutes by taxi. The room is comfortable, nice private bathroom. A single room means one bed that is between a double and a queen sized bed. Double means two beds. Breakfast is nice but make sure you get what you order. The eggs and pancakes are great or the Omlette with the crepes like pancakes is also very tasty. The staff tries there best to communicate and they are extremely helpful. I can really recommend this Hotel

0.58km from KyotoHi guys I just wanted to mention that Hotel because I was surprised of the quality of service. First of all when you enter the Hotel the reception is in front and smiling face of receptionist girl gives you the breeze of taking out the tiredness of the day plus You feel all the staff so friendly and same time motivates you to smile as well. Rooms are clean and large make you feel in a large space even a single room. Bathroom is large and so clean. You face the brilliant Russian Hospitality and sure you gonna talk later on with friends regarding what you saw there. Actually I have plenty of photos if any one wants I can show.By the way the restaurant is superior as well.

Arrived at 2am and couldn’t check in until 4am since they said the system wasn’t working. Really bad attention in reception. We asked for help next day for migration card lost in the hotel and couldn’t help us. The room was dirty and gave us a double bed, when we ordered a room with twin beds
I’ve booked this hotel on Booking.com and since I cannot review it there and customer service has not gotten back to me on why I can only upload pictures on the the app, I will review this hotel here. This is a very impressive hotel with its history, architecture and they have their own restaurant. Breakfast has an ample of foods. The service is great as they had the airport shuttle on time waiting for me. The Front desk staff, including the trainees, were informative. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised and wowed about my stay at Hotel Nogai. Now the only minor thing is that since it’s near the popular pedestrian district where the nightlife is, you may hear noise from live music, but it’s location is great nonetheless. If ever in Kazan, I recommend you stay at this hotel – and of course to eat kystybyi or if you really want to be adventurous, try horse meat 😀
Kazan was the first step of my journey in Russia and I spend some days in this hotel which, offers a very good quality and is very good located if you intend to visit the religious part of this very interesting city. This hotel has comfortable rooms and offers a very good service. Moreover, if you want to eat something, the restaurant is very good solution at a very reasonable price. A place to recommend in Kazan!! I only have one remark : picture of New York in the restaurant in such a beautiful city !!!!
Stayed 5 nights during World Cup. Average hotel. Austere decor. Shower was hot and had great water pressure. Rooms were only cleaned every 3rd day. Great location within walking distance to Bauman Street. No elevator.
