Coco-Mat became famous for the mattresses and natural products they create and staying in one of their hotels makes you understand why. + First off, the attention to detail is really something, the cleanliness and the fact that most of the items in the room as well as in the entire hotel, are made from natural materials (as most of them are sold by the company this makes sense, but they also collaborate with like-minded vendors, like the one of the hangers for instance - see photo). Even the room's ceiling was beautiful! I loved the ambience, the lobby was very cosy and beautifully decorated for Christmas. The neighborhood is one of the best in Athens, 500m. from the closest metro station and the Cycladic & Byzantin Museums are right around the corner. I didn't get a chance to taste the menu at the restaurant, but all looked delicious - hopefully next time! Also, in terms of cleanliness 10/10 for me, regarding the room as well as all public spaces. I'd like to save the best for last: THE bed. It was one of the best sleeps I've had in my entire life and it really exceeded my expectations! It is undoubtedly the most comfortable matress I've slept on and even though I have a chronic back pain, I did not feel any discomfort whatsoever. Sooo worth it! Ps. 1. small detail but worth mentioning: the breakfast plates are gorgeous - kudos to whomever chose them!! (see photo) Ps. 2. the breakfast was delicious with many savory and sweet options to choose from :-) Ps. 3. Comp mini-bar with refreshments was a great gesture! - There were 2 things that unfortunately did not lived up to my standards. First and foremost, personnel: I found it strange that while, during c/i, the FO associate tried to show me around and escort me to my room, a cleaning lady was in between and did not move nor greeted/acknowledged us. During breakfast: the personnel, although very polite, was often absent, leading a few of the guests searching/waiting for them. It wasn't quite clear what we were supposed to do, mostly regarding covid regulations: when I sat to my table, they brought placemats etc. but did not explain how it works - if it is self-service, what are the à la carte choices, etc. When I decided to stand up and walk towards the food station, they explained I needed to wear gloves before self-serving, but nothing about where to throw them afterwards - and I looked for a bin but didn't find one. Another guest walked in after me and as there was no staff around, he did not wear gloves-again no clearly-mentioned rules. At some point I asked for juice and the woman who delivered it (again, very polite) did not seem to be staff, judging from her outfit (I'm not sure if she had just finished her shift and did it as a favor to another colleague or if she even worked there at all..). On the same subject I found the staff in general a bit too informal for what I was expecting, but maybe that's just me. Secondly and minor but still: there was a bluetooth speaker in the room and alt

The room was neat and clean! There is falling water at the entrance, which is inconvenient to enter. The apartment building is behind the hotel building. It looks ordinary from the outside, but it is not bad inside. There are no street lights on the street at the entrance of the apartment building, and there are often homeless people coming and going, so be careful at night. The service attitude of the shop assistant is very good. The apartment has a kitchen and no washing machine, but there are balconies in the front and back, which is not bad.

The hotel location is very good, about 500 meters from Constitution Square, there is an airport bus and subway directly to Constitution Square, but it is not easy to get a big box on the old street. All sights are within 1000 meters' walking distance. The restaurant on the 8th floor of the hotel is particularly complete and spectacular to see the Acropolis, and you can also see the night view at night. The rooms are large and comfortable, the service is good, and the breakfast is very good. I stayed 5 days back and forth. I would come to bed every afternoon to send chocolates. The balcony door could be opened from above to adjust the room air. The bed and quilt were very comfortable.

I give a high value to the fact of having kitchen to cook as if at home. So the Apartment counts with this. The kitchen is rather well equipped. I would add some mat to protect the table (in my case i carried one with me just in case) . The refrigerator is big, there Is coffee machine, electric boiler , stove, oven, enough plates, glasses, etc. I asked for spounge and dish detergent cause as i cook my dinner i like of course to clean the dishes by myself, and the personal at the front desk provided it for me. The bed room had a Security box , which is a positive Point. The living room is rather comfortable. The personal at the front desk is very kind , Nicos helped me to find a place to Repair my luggagge which had arrived broken; Vangelis helped with the resetting of the wi fi at some opportuniy ; then there is Penny and two more functionaries (a man and a woman - Sorry that i don t remember their names now, but all very kind people, they received an order i had posted by internet and they gave it to me as i came back after going around all day). The cleaning personal is very kind too, and they do their work well, all is clean. The location is very suitable , 5 minutes walking from Metro Station Evangelysmus, so one can arrive directly from the airport by the blue Line in 30 or 40 minutes (dont remember the exact time ). There are some museums close to the Apart Hotel too, but i ve left them for my next visit. Lively places like Syntagma Square and Monastiraki , Acropole Museum , are all at one or 2 Metro Stations or even one can Walk 30 minutes. There is an excellent supermarket (Bazaar) at 5 minutes walking , one can find there all that one needs. The hotel offers breakfast paying a supplement, but i can t comment on that, cause i ve chosen to cook my breakfast at the Apartment , as if i were at home. Summarizing , i think this is a nice and convenient place to stay in Athens, which i was fortunate to find being it my first visit to Greece!

Hotel-style apartments at this price are more cost-effective. First, the location is better, very close to Syntagma Square, one street away from the main street, quiet in the noisy, and the security of the entire area is better; second, the rooms are relatively new and furnished Also very thoughtful, everything for daily necessities (kitchen dishes, washing machines, drying racks, etc.), a bottle of water and a little fruit are provided for free upon check-in. It’s just that the lady boss at the front desk has been answering the phone and answering the phone. The whole thing is very good.

Victoria
We chose this place to avoid very central Athens prices and be close to a Metro (Victoria). Good choice. Adaptions for Covid reduce breakfast to a box plus coffee and juice, but was quite good. We were upgraded with our room, which was nice, though the jacuzzi and shower didn’t work properly due to poor water flow. Comfortable beds and good lighting. No English TV. Weak WiFi on the top floor. Reception is only staffed until 5pm so the hotel works with code numbers for the outside door and with emergency key safes for each room just in case you lose the key. Oddly no safes in rooms but it all felt secure. Friendly reception staff.

The Acropolis View Hotel is the best place to stay in Athens! Clean rooms, excellent service, and a great value. Christopher at the front desk was friendly and incredibly helpful — he gave excellent suggestions for where to get dinner where the “locals” eat. In the evening we loved enjoying a glass of wine on the roof deck with an unbeatable view of the Acropolis. The rooms had everything you’d need and were clean. In the morning, the FREE breakfast was the best hotel breakfast I’ve ever had. Do yourself a favor and stay at the Acropolis View Hotel and tell Christopher we said hello.

We stayed here so my husband could attend the marathon and it was near the stadium for the finish. The hotel is new, clean and tidy. Cleaners came in Sunday and freshened bed and towels. Outside of the suites are deceiving. Overall everything you need and a comfortable bed. Trams run down to the harbour around 40-50mins, you can get an open tour bus 10 mins from the hotel head across the road and to the right will take you to a busy square for food and shops.

This hotel was a good value with a very friendly staff. Be sure to request a higher floor room ending in 02 for a great view of the Parthenon! Being recently renovated, we were very pleased with our room. The air conditioning cooled well, without requiring a room card being inserted. The area around the hotel left a little to be desired. This hotel is located right next door to a sister hotel - The Athenaeum Palace. Syngrou is a busy street without much commercial shopping or stores. There was a little convenience store hut about 40 yards away, and a decent little Italian and a Greek restaurant about 150 yards away. While there appeared to be a bus stop and an underground street crossing in front of the hotel, we did not use it. A taxi to the Plaka was about 6 euros without traffic and 12 euros with traffic. Breakfast was nice with a full continental option, as well as scrambled eggs and cooked bacon/ ham. The hotel has a powerful hair dryer. The lobby has a ramp, but a handrail for the stairs to the breakfast area for folks with accessibility needs.

We booked this hotel for 2 days prior to leaving on a Mediterranean cruise from the port. We asked the hotel to send a car to pick us up at the airport and for just a few euros more than catching a cab, there was a driver with a sign at the luggage area to help us with our luggage and a comfortable mercedes to drive us to the hotel. Everyone was outstanding, the driver, the two bell hops, who also got us cabs while we were there, the front desk staff, the room was immaculate. We got the breakfast for the two days, which turned out to be a very good idea as it was excellent with extensive choiceson a menu in addition to a buffet setting and with eggs cooked to order. The food was very good. My husband also liked the cappuchino they served for breakfast. We were seated at breakfast and for the fixed price we paid for breakfast, we could order anything off the menu. One of the items we split was the avocado toast, which was the best avocado toast I have had anywhere. I took a cab to the Acropolis and walked back from there. The staff were very helpful, printing out our luggage tags for the cruise, referring us to a nearby clinic where we got our precruise covid PCR tests for 47 euros with results emailed to us within 4 hours. The hotel staff printed out hard copies of the results so we could show them when we boarded. Everyone spoke English and we met another couple staying there who were going on our cruise. The first night we had dinner at the roof restaurant, a Japanese restaurant with a nice view of the Acropolis (of course we took pictures). The food was excellent as was the service. There is an indoor pool, but this was our first trip to Athens, so we didn't have time to go swimming, although my husband looked at it and said it looked great. Maybe the next time we go we'll have time to go swimming.

This hotel is not bad, clean and very friendly staff. Room service was delicious and inexpensive. My issue is at 8am I was woken up by someone VERY LOUDLY working on the plumbing in the room next door. Seriously it was hammering and banging through the walls for a couple hours at least. Psiri / Monastiraki
This is a small family run hotel in the Monastiraki neighborhood. The Ancient Greek Agora and the Acropolis are within easy walking distance. If those are the attractions that brought you to Athens, this hotel will work beautifully for you. The hotel is simple, clean and charming. While the hotel is small, the guest rooms are of ample size and have all the amenities (air conditioning, coffee maker, microwave, small refrigerator, kitchenette counter with sink, dishes and silverware). Julius and Olga run the place. They are always friendly and willing to help. Olga arranged a car to bring us to the hotel from the airport and she arranged for a tour guide to shepherd us through the Acropolis and its museum. Other details were no problem for her. They were our “go to” people for everything and they made us feel like family. Julius runs the cafe at the street level of the hotel. The food is homemade and excellent. While we had countless choices for dining in Athens, we ate at Julius’ cafe for two out of our three evenings there. This little gem of a hotel is simple but luxurious because of the gracious attention afforded to their guests. It is a good value in every sense of the word.

When I slept in the morning, I woke up naturally, and when I blinked, I found that there was a large balcony outside the French window. Stayed late at night last night, sleepy and sleepy, did not carefully look at the room structure. The son looked at the fire exit map on the wall and told me that we lived in the largest room in the hotel. If so. So happy. The breakfast ended at ten o'clock, and the time rushed to the restaurant, which was amazing. Bright and spacious, the walls are decorated with Greek reliefs and portraits. The taste of the food is also very good, in addition to the watermelons and melons provided in each restaurant, there is a whole set of complete fruit collection. The hotel is already very good in the old town. The 9th floor breakfast room directly looks at the Acropolis and the scenery is beautiful. But the surrounding environment is poor, there are so many rotten buildings and people who look suspicious, it is best to return to the hotel before the sun sets. We are a family of four with 2 children. The basic room type we booked is an extra 40 Euros per day, including breakfast for 2 children. The room is also changed to a basic suite with an extra bed. The hotel is strategically located, close to Constitution Square and the pedestrian commercial street. The subway is not too far away. It is a three-day trip in Athens. However, it is a self-driving tour, parking is inconvenient, and the hotel’s door is more Small, still in the alley, it is a little hard to find at first. The service is good. The breakfast has rare hot vegetables from Greece. It is estimated that it is to take care of the Chinese people's eating habits. Right, plus one sentence, the hotel is quite a lot of people. There is a small bar on the top floor of the hotel, you can see the Acropolis from afar. You can go to the meeting without ordering food.
