Positive: a nice room with super clean bathroom, a small ventilator on the room at summer temperatures, an elevator and two outings (one with stairs, one on the floor) negatively fell to me: At one point the wall tape was dissolved in the room and one of the windows was not closed properly. I was not happy with the service, I find it impossible that a staff at a hotel reception in the middle of Germany can neither be free of German nor English! My telephone-reserved room was not reserved, I got a lucky room yet. The guests before me should pay when checking in, although they had already paid credit cards when booking on the net, but they could not make it clear to the receptionist because they lacked language skills and therefore paid again with the announcement: We can book back at any time. Concluded: The location in the city in the pedestrian zone, a cat jump to the doom, compensates for much!

We stayed at the hotel for two nights. Actually, we would have preferred to leave immediately. The hotel room looks like it has fallen out of time. The impression is gloomy and not very welcoming. A slightly different lighting and new, friendlier bed linen would do a lot (the sheets are dark brown). The room was not made up after the first night. Maybe forgotten? Of course we could have said something, but in the evening we were glad that we could go to bed. If the missed room service didn't take place because it was Sunday, it would have been nice to have been informed accordingly. The breakfast really pulls it out. Sufficient and varied. It was constantly refilled. The value for money here is unbelievable.
