      At the Tara Palace I stayed in a newly remodeled room with a balcony overlooking the Old City of Delhi. The room and bathroom were pristine. The hotel is just a few feet off a main road and down one of the lanes into the Old City, which is full of entrepreneurs and business of all sorts, including the silver market. Each doorway has its own character. Find someone to walk around with you who knows the history. The hotel is around the corner from the magnificent Red Fort, seat of the Moghul Empire. You can ask staff of the hotel to serve you dinner on the roof, from which you can see the Fort, the Jama Masjid and a Jain temple. Prices are very reasonable.

      Dear Travellers, I am taking time to write a review for this hotel because of our terrible experience. our stay was in July 23 2019. We were a party of 14, large group booked five rooms and when we arrived at the hotel, there was a pungent smell in the rooms, one of the room given had water on the floor, not sure what it was. The sheets were not changed and it had even foot prints on it from a traveller putting his foot on the sheet. I have a bunch of photos for your review. This place is filthy and dirty. ***ager is stubborn guy, and staff helpless. one of the things i was told was, is this how you write names? i was taken back by that comment. First thing you arrive at a hotel and this is what you hear. I was told to write all fourteen traveler's names in a box size 2"x4", so i wrote all first names separated by a comma. That apart, Hotel seems to be built well, however maintenance is utterly lacking. I have contemplated losing all the money i paid and move to another hotel on the same street that seemed to be really nice, i did not check the rooms though in the other hotel. then again i have already paid 10K and it was for a night's sleep, and next morning we checked as soon as we can. It was a five day trip in total and last day's night in this hotel, ruined the trip totally. Lessons learned: Do not trust travel website. Goibobo had 4/5 ratings, which i generally consider good. while google has 3.2 Do not ever book hotels near railway stations. Locality is not good and cleanliness will clear lack.

      It was my first time in India and I arrived alone in New Delhi. Choosing this hotel was a good decision. A taxi was waiting for me and brought me directly to the hotel even though my plane was more than 2 hours late. The rooms are good, there is AC so it helped me go through 2 days in Delhi where I could barely stand the heat. The staff was helpful and the restaurant is nice. Overall, it was a good experience.

Ideal place to visit the Jama Masjid, the Chandni Chowk 'market', it's at a walking distance from the Red Fort as well (took me about 15 minutes by feet). I'd recommend to find a hotel (like this one) in the Old Delhi sector. Yet, it is easy to go further around like Connaught Place, Lotus Mahal... and visit other places of interest.

      Check in was fast and efficient and room was ready straight away. The hotel is not quite as nice as in the photos - furniture looking a bit tired and the actual hotel feels dirty. Corridors needed a good vacuum but the rooms were a little better, still felt the need to wear shoes though. Furniture & Bedding was nice and clean, ignoring a few stains here and there. TV only in HIndi if you are wanting to watch. Bathroom was neat and tidy, but the hotel water is only on for certain times of the day which is disappointing, so if you are leaving early morning, or arriving late you wont be able to have a hot shower. I did like they provided bottled water for brushing teeth ect Location is decent, close by to the airport and there are little shops around if you need to get anything like toiletries or electronics. Not a bad option for a one night stay in between flights. Much cheaper than hotels in the airport and a short taxi ride costs minimal.

After all, the price requirements should not be too high, and there are more pubs nearby. Relatively, this looks pretty good, and it is convenient to get to the streets. The storage bag is also very enthusiastic, saying that no matter how long it can be. The photo was flopped on another phone so it wasn't clear.

      The accommodation in Delhi is really not cheap. The agent originally gave this hotel around 1,000. Ctrip is cheaper. Withdrawing that Ctrip and deducting 8,000 rupees. I heard that it is the feeling of a domestic express hotel because expectations are lower Therefore, I feel okay to get there, there are basically all of them, they are simple, clean and okay. It is near the airport and it is convenient to take a taxi for more than 200 rubles. Hey, I do n’t understand why India is so poor and so expensive.

      Our group had booked several rooms for several nights during our stay in Delhi. In reality the rooms are much more worn down than they look on pictures presented by the hotel (fx. in Booking.com). All the bedding (in every room) looked disgusting. Everything had some sort of stains on, some sheets had holes in them and some blanket covers were just dirty. Couple of hours after checking in, most of our rooms discovered cockroaches. Since it was late in the evening, we decided to stay the night and find a new place next day. In the morning I spoke about it with the ***ager and had to show the staff killed cockroaches on the floors, since the ***ager insisted, they do not have cockroaches. After that we went out and looked for a new hotel. Upon returning, the ***ager lied that they had done sprays in our rooms, so the cockroaches would not be a problem anymore. When I went to get my luggage from my room, I killed six cockroaches running around on the floor. The ***ager then said, that they could not spray my room, because I had the rooms key with me (as did everyone else). So in reality they did not do anything. It was super difficult to deal with the hotels ***ager. He did not allow us to leave the hotell before paying for the whole period that we booked. The cockroaches and dirty bedding was NOT ADVERTISED, so we were willing to pay for only the night we slept there. It took us a lot of arguing to be able to leave that place. In the end we had to pay the hotel for two nights in order to cancel the rest of our stay.

      Facilities are comfortable and good value for money. Train station and downtown It's far away. You have to go to the train station by bus and rickshaw. Breakfast is delicious. Good interior. Especially the night view is awesome. The night fountain and the piano playing and live performances in the hall were great. I recommend it to anyone who goes to the New Delhi Korean Church where the hotel is worshiping.

Would be highly sceptical of their tripadvisor reviews.

      Stay again! The Royal Plaza Hotel is located in the heart of Delhi, a 10-minute walk from India Gate and Central Plaza. The hotel is super luxurious. The ceiling is decorated with Western court paintings. There are many white marble sculptures and oil paintings in the lobby and corridors. It is just that the two beautiful welcome girls at the entrance in 2013 are gone! The hotel service was very good and the luggage was delivered directly to the room. The rooms are small and a bit old, but very delicate and clean! I live in a single room converted from inside and outside suites, so the sound insulation is poor. Breakfast is rich, and you can eat in the Western courtyard, it feels good! Cost-effective and worth staying at!

      Hotel Jukaso inn down town , located in the inner circle of Connaught Place in New Delhi in an old heritage building . The location is superb as right in the middle of Connaught Place . It’s an old family run property built around a very old building . Two stories with 34 rooms of different sizes & style , one has to climb the stairs as there is no elevator yet . Room: Standard room , comfortable & clean with a functional bathroom. The wifi works but could have been faster . There is a cozy restaurant which serves limited food . I guess what distinguishes this hotel is the location . It’s indeed good value for money in a city like New Delhi . The staff do need a behavioural training which will make the front office experience much better . Will I return to this hotel ? Yes, I would like to return to this hotel sometimes

      Stayed here for 4 nights in late February and was as advertised. Hotel is in great location in Connaugh Place and reception staff were excellent. On a daily basis they would offer advice and book us a taxi via Uber. Only negative I could identify is the rooms are small however as we were out all day exploring that had no impact. Breakfasts were very good and the Zaffran Restaurant was excellent for evening meal with attentive waiters and beautiful food. One thing to be aware of when picking up a taxi at airport (and nothing to do with the hotel I hasten to add) is the scam of taxi drivers telling you that they could not get close to the hotel because of protests. Beware of scams in India and check internet for details prior to arrival. Would certainly stay here again if I came back to New Delhi.
