The room was clean and the hotel new. It was quiet and the staff was helpful, it's cheap and we would consider staying again. A lot of long term industrial workers stay at the hotel and on our late arrival there were dark black oil boot prints from the entrance, across the lobby and in the elevator. So clear it looked almost staged. Note there is no breakfast but the town has plenty of good choices. Billings is a weird town. At night there is armed security all night and I assume it's needed. Day and night there are people smoking around various doors despite signs advising it's illegal. Enforcing that would be a nice idea.

DO NOT STAY HERE! We had been traveling all day on the road and we were looking for an affordable night stay. It was a fairly late check in and we were exhausted. I was helped by Jayme at the front desk, nice, but apparently on edge, said she had a had a busy night. She gave us the key to our room and after walking all the way down the other end of the hallway the key didn't work. I walked back to front counter and this process happened 2 more times! After 3 trips back and forth to desk and the keys not working she decided to switch us rooms. We walked to the next room and it reeked of urine, what we could only hope was dog? I proceeded back to let Jayme know of this instance and she switched us rooms, yet again! 3rd time was not a charm, we walked in this room, paid for a queen, but it was 2 double beds, and smelled of mildew. After 10 trips up and down this long hallway, carrying luggage, and changing rooms 3 times I decided to stay put to sleep. We were done! My husband complained the most, but I said it was better than urine, and maybe it was just the hotel? We went to bed, only to both wake up with runny noses, and congestion. We decided to shower, grab our belongings, and go. When I went to take a shower I noticed mold all along the inside frame of the bathroom! Attached you will find pictures. At this time I was very upset and went to inform the staff. I never let any guests know of any of our situations,(even the night before) I was calm, discreet, and polite. I couldn't find anyone at the desk, so I went over to the breakfast station where I found Toni. I let her know of all of our issues and how disturbed we were by our situation at this point. How my husband and I both woke up with congestion and runny noses and found mold in our room. She called a manager at another hotel, Gary on the phone told Toni he would comp our room. She directed me over to Destiny at the front desk, and I repeated this entire story. Destiny then promise to have a manager get a hold of us and have multiple rooms given to me on my account since I am a choice hotels member. After two days and no return call I called the hotel. I got a hold of the manager Selena and informed her of our stay in room 131. She was lackadaisical, didn't seem at all concerned with the mold issue in our room, said they were renting that room right now. I asked if they fixed the mold, she said, yes. Really? She did say they would reimburse us for that night, nothing more. 20 days later, I haven't been able to get in touch with anyone else, nor have I received a refund. I wouldn't waste my time or my money, you do get what you pay for, not worth being exposed to toxic mold, and the headache incurred...

My spouse selected this hotel as it was near his training (location, location, location) and it wouldn't have been my choice. We had a room on the third floor facing the "front" and highway. I was concerned that it would be noisy, but noise wasn't an issue. The room was clean - immaculate. We liked the full size fridge and the ability to cook or at least reheat some meals. I found the king bed to be comfortable, though some might think it was too soft. I would note that the shower head is water saving, so felt a little weak, but there was plenty of hot water. The grab and go breakfast consists of bars, packaged muffins, and coffee. I do note that the prices in the vending machine seemed high - $1.60 for a KitKat bar - maybe that's in line with C-store prices but I don't shop there. I would gladly stay here again if we were in the area.

I have stayed at Comfort Suites in Billings many times over the past three years. I have even referred the hotel to many people. This past weekend was the last time I'll stay there. I'm finding a new hotel for my frequent trips to Billings. On checkout day (I stayed two nights), even though I had a "do not disturb" sign on my door, three different times that morning housekeeping knocked super loudly on my door (and the third time seemed even louder and her "Housekeeping!" was delivered rudely, definitely in a way as to deliver a message to me that I needed to go. Each time I told them I'd be leaving at the checkout time. Close to checkout time as I left my room to deliver items to my car, a housekeeper (male#1) was standing there. I asked him if he or the other housekeeping staff communicated with each other because I had to tell each one that I was leaving at checkout time. At first he didn't answer, but when I pressed the issue, he said something to the effect that it didn't work that way. As I headed to the elevator, it seemed like he followed me to see if I was getting on the elevator. When I got back to my door another housekeeper (male#2) came out from a room to the hallway to wait for me to leave--and I asked him if that's what he was doing...he affirmed he was, but that he was also waiting for another room to free up. Strangely, neither of my key cards opened my door and I wondered if it was possible that male#1 had anything to do with this. As male#2 was hovering and watching me try to open my door, I asked him if he'd let me in and I mentioned that I came and went all weekend, but didn't have any trouble with my keys. He let me in saying that sometimes the keys are demagnetized or something like that. As I was finishing up my packing (between 5-10 minutes), I heard three voices outside my room. As I exited the room, male#1 and male#2 and one female staff were all waiting on one side of the hallway for me to leave. I had to squeeze by them, and their supply cart with my luggage trolley, to get to the elevator. I hate to speculate, but it almost seemed the were there to intimidate me. As an aside, I can't believe they had nothing to do while they were waiting for people to check out of rooms. The elevator button panel had finger prints and smears everywhere...(I failed to mention that none of the staff wore masks.) I left a note at the desk for a manager to call me. I've not received a call. I go to Billings often...so now, I'm searching for a new hotel. (Also, since I have to answer a question below about hand sanitizer, upon check in, I had to tell the front desk staffer that the hand sanitizer on the desk was empty...She thanked me and said that she didn't know because she never goes to the front of the reception area, that she stays behind it...)

I went to Billings for a quick weekend stay. The hotel is in a quiet but easily accessible place off the highway. The service was fast and friendly. There is a nice lounge area for breakfast and business internet access. The rooms are fantastic for the price. As a IHG Platinum Elite member I always get upgraded without asking at this location. The room was modern, large, and just what I expect from this brand of hotels. The breakfast was decent, especially considering it was free. The pool and hot tub area was adequate and kid friendly. When I go to Billings this is the only place I stay. Clean, friendly, and fun. That’s all I ask for in a hotel.

A coworker and I stayed there for two nights for a conference. I used my debit card to pay for the room, and they authorized my card for not only the full stay, but one nights' stay for incidentals! I've never had a hotel authorize $107 for incidentals. The room was noisy, we were on the first floor in a hallway that led to the conference rooms. There was some kind of brown splatter on the inside of the bathroom door (I HOPE it was makeup, but I don't think it was). The towels were small and rough and most of them were worn and frayed on the edges. They give you some toiletries (which I'd brought my own), but they only leave one little bar of soap to share between the sink and the shower, and there was no bodywash included in the selection of toiletries. The showerhead was barely a dribble, really awful. Breakfast was mostly terrible. The first morning there were powdered scrambled eggs (yuk) and link sausages that were actually pretty tasty. The hash brown potatoes were edible if you put enough ketchup on them. They had a make your own waffle station but the batter had been mixed too thick and so instead of getting a light, fluffy waffle, you got a tough disc that you couldn't cut with the flimsy plastic silverware that they provide. The second morning's breakfast was a total disaster. Again there were powdered scrambled eggs, in addition there were sausage patties that were so burnt they were barely recognizable. There was some canned country gravy, but the biscuits were also so burnt they were inedible. The only fresh fruit provided was a bowl of very small apples and oranges. On the positive side, the beds were pretty comfortable, with decent linens. The small fridge and microwave in the room was nice. The conference rooms are large and well lit, although freezing cold most of the time. Restrooms were well located and clean. All in all, if the conference we attended is in the same place next year I would stay in one of the nearby hotels that are within walking distance.

Even though my trip to Billings, MT was due to an emergency business trip over the holidays...it’s a place that never lets me down! We always stay at the Northern Hotel which has a staff that is very welcoming every time we visit, and they all have their own distinct but nice personalities. Room service from “Bernies Diner” and “Ten” located downstairs makes life so convenient, the (BananaBread French Toast) from Bernies; and the (steak frites) from Ten-are winners in my book!!! The room has a luxury comfy feel with more than enough space, and the fact that the parking garage is attached to the hotel is a plus! The hotel is located in the heart of downtown with restaurants such as Hooligans [Bar], Jakes [Steak], and Wild Ginger [Hibachi] which all are walking distance and they’re really good recommended places to dine at or grab a drink from! Overall The Northern Hotel is my go to place to stay whenever I travel to Billings and is my home away from home!

My husband and I stayed here for a few days. We had problems with the shower constanly changing temperatures and almost scolding. There were alot of mosquitos in the building(hallways/stair area). We woke up one morning and there was a homeless man sleeping in the hallway. I was pretty worried about our cars the whole time because there was a lot of rift raft around the building. I'm not here to leave a crappy review...just honest. There were some really great things as well. Customer service was a 5/5 and always super helpful. Really nice great people who work here. The maids were great and always attended to anything we needed. The pool and spa were awesome! The slides were defintally a plus. We ate at the resturuant and had a few beers. The chicken tenders were awesome and so was the beer. Really cool place to stay other then the few complaints I had.

We stayed here for a quick overnight while visiting my grandpa in the hospital. There was a wrestling tournament in town so we had to go outside of town to find a hotel last minute. It was pretty convenient to the East side of Billings. Only about 10 minutes to the hospital. I loved the suite we booked. It had 2 queen beds and a pull out sofa. Perfect for traveling with kids. The beds were comfortable. We got in late and the front desk staff was kind enough to put fresh bedding in our room for the sofa bed. The pool was temporarily closed, which was a big bummer for the kids. They were very disappointed. Breakfast was very good- the omelets were very tasty! There was a lot of people at breakfast, but they food was stocked well and plenty of seating. Overall, we thought this was a little gem. It's out of town, but very clean and comfortable. Definitely up to par if you like Holiday Inn Express.

After initially checking in, I noticed the room recliner was filthy with hideous stains and pet hair and other debris. I took a pic of the chair and showed the desk clerk who said she would leave a note for the manager in the morning. I spoke with the Mgr Kacy the next morning. She was not pleased that staff did not relocate me to a different room but she gave me a nice discount and upgrade for the next night. Its nice when a business takes ownership for a mistake/problem and commits to making a customer satisfied. Bravo Kacy! I will definitely stay there again.

I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn, Billings Montana, and August 2020. The location is excellent as there are eating facilities within walking distance and there are strip malls in the area for shopping. There is a Costco nearby. The only negative is when I made the reservation there was airport shuttle and that is no longer available and I was never notified of the deletion of this service. Otherwise, this is a excellent facility to stay at and I will stay again at a future date.

This is a 5 year old hotel that feels and looks like it just opened yesterday! Everything was spotless and looked brand new. The room was relaxing and staff was very helpful and friendly. There is a Cracker Barrel right next door, other places that deliver. One thing to consider, hotel does not allow pet to be left alone. We had to tag team with our dog, Piper. It was still very manageable. There is no pet fee, which is a plus! There is a hot breakfast, and it was filling. As a real germ phobic person, I found nothing wrong with this hotel and would stay in it anytime!

The waiter is inexperienced and asked me to repeat the payment. I have shown the booking information many times and argued for reasons. He asked their manager to agree that my booking on Ctrip.com is valid. There is no need to pay again. Breakfast was cancelled due to the new crown epidemic. Ctrip.com It seems that the Internet is still promoting breakfast hotels without even knowing it. In fact, none of them. The hotel’s mattresses rattled and the outdated facilities seemed to collapse at any time. We stayed very frightened. This time I felt very bad.

We had an interesting experience here. We chose this hotel because of the location convenience and because it looked really nice according to the website. First, the staff was REALLY great and accommodating. But we had some issues with check-in. When we got there at 8:30 pm to check-in there was no one there. We waited for ten minutes before someone came out to help us. They must have been in the bathroom, but there was no one else there. We had three tired kids with us so it was an inconvenience. However, the staff member was nice and apologized for the wait. We booked a double king because of our group of five. When we got to our room, unfortunately it smelled terribly of old cigarette smoke. There was no way we were staying in there because of the smell and for $130 per night, so we asked for a room change. They did not have a double King available but they hd a king suite with a pull out bed or a double queen. We tried the suite with the pull out bed but the pull out bed was just so extremely uncomfortable we asked to switch to the double queen instead. The staff member was over accommodating and even brought us up our keys. But then, our double queen deadbolt did not work. There was no way we were staying in Billings with a door that didn’t lock with kids. So we had to change yet again to a double queen that worked for us. Honestly, it also smelled kind of bad when we walked in, but at that point we were exhausted. There was no water bottles like the other rooms had, there was a red stain on one of the bed linens, the bathtub was not properly cleaned with hair all over the bottom of it, and the coffee machine had an old filter in it. We were upset because our expectations were much higher than we received. The hotel is also pretty old, with “updated” rooms. The room was nice and the bed comfortable, but the bathroom was just yucky. When we checked out, the staff member gave a nice discount after explaining that we had to downgrade rooms and also informing her of the dirty tub. However, we won’t be staying there again. The pictures portrayed something much nicer than what it really was. The hotel website should have also stated that continental breakfast was not being served and we had grab and go bags at the front desk because of covid-19. We were looking forward to the nice continental breakfast shown on the website. There should have definitely been a disclaimer for that. Overall, our experience was poor compared to other places we’ve stayed at this price.

I was stuck in Billings due to a flight cancellation. I was referred to the Boothill Inn and boy did they deliver! They offer a FREE shuttle to and from the airport as well as anywhere around town during your stay with them. The accommodations are very comfortable, nothing over the top. The rooms have complimentary coffee and bottled water. They have a pool and spa which are very pleasant. The rates are competitive and above all, the staff are some of the nicest people I have ever encountered. The ladies behind the desk are very welcoming and helpful and the shuttle driver is always good for a great conversation! (Also, since I have to answer a question below about hand sanitizer, upon check in, I had to tell the front desk staffer that the hand sanitizer on the desk was empty...She thanked me and said that she didn't know because she never goes to the front of the reception area, that she stays behind it...)

I happened to get a room rate special for this hotel, so I stayed here in Dec 2019. The room was clean, the location was convenient, and though the hotel sits close to I-90, it was quiet. I accidentally left my Mac laptop in the room, they called me, kept it safe, and a few days later I retrieved it!! I stay in Billings at about 3 times a month. I'd stay here more often, but it's a little over my price.

Comfortable and relaxing stay. I loved the set up of my suite. Breakfast was all about presentation and was carefully prepared. It was also early for a early Saturday morning departure. The evening social was an unexpected pleasure and was appreciated. I checked in online and a digital key was issued so I just went to my selected room. No hassle... great

The first night we had room 118 and the second night room 221. The first nights room,118, was okay. Looked good on the surface but UNDER THE BED,, found used shot bottles of vodka and a used bottle of 7up. Also a few jellybean looking items. Thought that was really sad. Two of the lights didn't work. I informed the front desk about what we had found but the room did seem clean other than not looking under the bed plus when we were ready to leave we left them a note regarding what we found. I would still give an overall score of a low four. They do allow pets, have a pool, and give a few items for breakfast. After another day in Billings Montana we decided to spend another night so after checking the rates we decided to give the Baymont another stay. Checked in and got room 221. The first thing we did was to check under the beds. NICE, BASE BOARDS AROUND THE BEDS!!! Nothing could get under the bed. Super nice room. This night would score a heavy 5 to higher. Even the windows were cleaned in this room. Now if you're keeping score a heavy 5 and a 4 would average close to a ten divided by two would be a Five you'd think. So why the lower score? Let me explain. Morning came and the wife went to see what was for breakfast while I stayed in the room with our rabbit dachshund. When she got back to the room Willow slipped out of the room and the door was closed. We looked around for Willow and noticed she had slipped out of the room. We both started hunting for her and calling her name. A lady with a corgi said she saw her on the first floor. I ran to the first floor calling for her. The wife went to the front desk and asked if they had seen her and they said they hadn't seen her but would let us know if they do. She then went outside to look. I got to the first floor and called for Willow and a housekeeper hurriedly went into a room and lightly closed the door. I called for Willow again and heard a dog that sounded like her bark from behind the door across from the room where the housekeeper went into. So I opened his door and said, "Excuse me, but have you seen a little wire haired dachshund on this floor?" He looked shocked, paused, and pointed and said, "Out there?"quietly. So I called Willow's name again and she barked and whined from across the hall. I knew for sure that it was her. I informed the housekeeper that Willow was ours. He paused again and then said, " in there?" and pointed at the locked room 113. I said, "The door is locked can you please let her out?" He paused again then slowly went to the door and slowly swiped the key card, Cracked the door open and Willow ran out and jumped up on my leg. The housekeeper hastily went back into the other room and disappeared. Does that sound a little funny to you. It sure did to the front desk and the Housekeepers on our floor. For this housekeepers actions and the thought that he could be hiding Willow from us to possibly steal her we had to drop the score down to a ONE. Doing the math

Adequate place in motel row at edge of Billings. Typical Motel 6. Parking lot and room could have been cleaner, but, again, adequate. Reviewers seem to prefer North location, which looks the same outside. This one was a couple dollars cheaper, and for some reason might attract more, I don't know, working class?, crowd, but that fits me. Bikers coming from Sturgis were hanging in the parking, which might bother some guests, but everyone was a big friendly community, I liked it.

Wicked cheap. I would not expect much and I didn't get much. I have stayed in 4 different rooms and no one has stronger showers. The water pressure makes me feel like I'm getting the benefits of an exfoliation treatment. I have throughly checked for bugs and never found any. I go here because they take dogs for no fee and it is cheap. If you want fancy and then complain shame on you. I found the sheets and towels clean. Good luck

The hotel is right next to the town of Jackson. The rooms are clean and good. The facilities inside are the same as those in most hotels in the United States. Parking is just outside the hotel, there is a Chinese restaurant next to it, and the dishes taste ok. It was very inconvenient not to have breakfast. The snow was very cold that morning when we stayed, and the ground was frozen. It was not convenient to go out. However, I will go to Grand Teton in the afternoon and return. I will go to Huangshi the next day. It is convenient to choose to live here.

Convenient transportation, convenient parking, and close to the airport. For example, renting a car or returning a car is convenient. It is relatively close to Grand Teton, but it is still a little far from Yellowstone Park. Running back and forth wastes a lot of time. For example, if you go to Yellowstone Park, it is best to live in Yellowstone Park. , This can save a lot of time, otherwise staying 3 nights is simply not enough. Hotel breakfast is ok. Not far from the hotel (about 3 kilometers) there is a larger Chinese restaurant called china town, which is not bad.

The hotel is in the form of a resort, in good condition, in the town, no breakfast, you can eat in the town. Next to the hotel is the cableway, which is taken to the top of the snow to see the scenery. On the day of the trip, the town was engaged in activities. Many local families came out to set up stalls. Unfortunately, they had to leave and failed to participate. Parking is free. The second photo is in the middle of the semicircle.

The hotel is under renovation, no lift, no breakfast. The room is small and cannot accommodate an extra bed. The front desk reminds us that valuables should be stored at the front desk or in the room. There is a parking lot. Hotel location is not good, only suitable for skiing. Going out for dinner at night, there is no suitable restaurant around, not a birthday party, or a drunkard, not yet eaten dinner. This village is farther away from the town.

The town of Jackson is really beautiful, very characteristic town, this hotel is also a Hilton hotel, the room is clean and tidy, and the facilities are complete. Hot water and coffee are available 24 hours downstairs. The room has breakfast and the breakfast is very rich. You can also make waffles. There is a discount supermarket opposite, not far from discount stores and large supermarkets. It is highly recommended to stay in Grand Teton or Yellowstone.
