We stayed here for a convention then business meeting and had to travel 5+hours to get there from Paris and really wanted a good night's sleep as you would in any hotel as this is their primary function. However, we were provided rooms above the lobby/bar with a view of the same and where other residents can also see you. The major issue though, is that it came time to sleep, all you can here is the bar music from the lounge bar directly under you which went onto 2am plus. How this is acceptable is beyond me? The night's sleep obviously was not great which then ruined a day where we had to drive 4+ hours to Belgium! ...tired The rooms are also dated and showing their age and the toilet did not function well. The SPA facilities were nice as well as the hotel's location which were a plus

The apartment suites are located in an impressive historic building that has been refurbished and renovated to a high quality standard. The suite we were assigned to was spacious equipped with a kitchenette. The location is about a 7-10 min walk from the Mainz main station and the old town is right around the corner. You are surrounded by very quaint bars, wine houses and restaurants. The sturdy double glazed windows and doors block out noise effectively. The hosts are really friendly and helpful. Great stay at this place and would definitely recommend it.

We needed a little break in the covid days and were very happy with the choice of this hotel. Its in a quite, peacefull area on a hill, by a park but in easy walking distance of the historic centre of Mainz. Our standard room had windows that could be opened and overlooked the garden. Maybe the bathroom was a little dated with a bath in it, but thats the only reason I dont give it 5 stars. It was great to be able to have a drink in the garden in the evening. The staff was very friendly and they took the Covid measures seriously with hand sanitation in reception, by the lifts etc., and of course everybody wore a facemask, which helped us to feel safe. There is secure parking under the hotel, for a fee. I would most surely stay here again.

The hotel is nicely situated about 100 meters from the Schillerplatz, where in fact the traffic-free center begins. The hotel has also a very large underground parking with reserved places for Hilton Honors members. People at the front desk were very friendly. Rooms (we got an upgrade as Diamond member) were very large with a nice bath room. However, no shower but a bath tub with a curtain in stead of a glass door) Room was very clean. Interiors of the rooms are a little bit outdated, but still OK Breakfast buffet was totally OK with very friendly service. The only thing I want to remark is that you are obliged to hang the sign on the outside of your door, if you want your room cleaned or bed made up. There was a sticker on the bath room mirror, mentioning this, but who reads this...... When we mentioned this at check out, the man said he gaves us a paper with a.o. the hours of breakfast.... Apparently on that paper was mentioned that you had to hang the sign on your door. At least they could have mentioned it, when we checked in. Result of course : our bed was not made up. I stayed in hundreds of hotels around the world (of course also, but not only, in Hiltons) and it is the first time we heard this. That they do not clean the whole room for a 2 nights stay, I can understand. But making up the beds and give a quick clean in the bath room is the minimum, certainly for a quality chain as Hilton. All by all we were satisfied about our stay, but do stop with the obligation to hang up the "cleaning" sign.

We stayed for 2 nights in August 2020 in Mainz in AC Hotel. The hotel is perfectly located at the beginning of the old town, right across the main Train Station, with a public parking garage ( Bonifazius) right next door (€10 per day). The hotel has also a good working airconditioning in the room (#206), which is a plus in the heatwave that we were in at 38 degrees! We were greeted by the lovely Jasmin, who did everything in her power to make our stay as comfortable and safe as possible, even in these challenging times. In order to make distancing possible for all guests, we had to reserve a time slot for the breakfast ( weekends only) and we were placed in the 8 to 9 time slot ( breakfast is till 13.00 in the weekend, monday again till 10AM. That worked well for us as we had a full day planned ahead. there are 4 breakfast options, we choose the "Adam and Eve" platter, which consisted of a delicious omelet with grilled veggies and a cheese platter as well as coffee, juice and a basket with different kinds of bread. The monday we missed the breakfast, but the reception employee Oscar went out of his way to still organise the breakfast for us at 10.15AM, and also he was very helpfull guarding the luggage while we got the car out of the storage. Jasmin and Oscar really made this hotel very personal and although it seems to be more of a business hotel, they both made it feel like a home away from home, even for us non business travellers. Keep it up, and lets hope we can come again next year in less challenging circomstances.

My partner and I stayed here last week during our visit to Mainz. I stayed here for business back in December and my second visit was just as great as the first. The room was very pleasant and cozy with a large queen bed and lots of pillows. Tea and coffee is provided, as well as some free soft drinks in the minibar. The coffee machine took a bit of figuring out (there are some instructions on the back, but be sure to fill the water to the max level - otherwise it didn’t seem to work) because I’m not familiar with coffee pad machines! It made a really smooth tasting coffee, though. I think probably the best thing about the room is the amazing shower! Feels like standing under a waterfall in a shampoo advert. Amazing temperature and water pressure and very spacious, meaning you just don’t want to leave!! Having such a great shower was really appreciated because it was about 34 Celsius and we were having to shower multiple times a day. The hotel is in a great location - very close to the train station, meaning very easy access to the airport and other German towns and cities. It’s a very comfortable walk into the centre, too. When you walk into the lobby, there’s a little pop up shop where you can buy gifts and local beer, ice tea, ice cream and other things. Very quirky and making good use of local businesses. I can’t recommend this hotel enough and wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Mainz!

I had stayed in this hotel in different cities including Mainz. Last time I visited this hotel in Mainz in 2019 I rated 4. But this time I rate it 3 since they have changed some of their policies and also I had new experiences in new hotels in the same area. Pros: 01- From business point of view , the hotel is very close to Sixt car rental. So it is very convenient to get and return the car. 02- Close to train station, however you need to walk about 5 min. If you want to be close to train station they are other hotel in the same are which are closer to train station. 03- Rooms are clean and spacious. 04- Thee provide local transportation pass. Last year they were giving you for one week but this time they said they reduced it to 3 days. However it seems they renew it in case needed. 05-The breakfast is good enough 06- Staff are ok but you may need sometimes to do follow up 07- Price wise, if I get same price on some other hotels in the same area then I would prefer to the other ones that I had experiences recently, but if teh price is lower then I may choose InterCity hotel. Cons: 01- The hotel doesn't have Gym-fitness room 02- We requested bath-robe. We had to do a deposit of 10 euro. Other hotel in the same area that I stayed don't ask for deposit 03- Sometime you need to follow up with staff 04- The parking ticket machine is not on driver side, so when you need to get out you have to get out to validate the car and then get in and leave the parking??? For improvement I would say the hotel can improve their response time to some requests. Our safe battery died so basically we couldn't lock it anymore. Even though we requested 2 times, nothing happened till we left the hotel.

The hotel is good in all aspects, clean and tidy, with large rooms, parking spaces, breakfast, heating, kettles, and staff attitudes are also very good. There are two directions when coming out of Mainz station. Passengers who are not traveling by car drag a large suitcase to walk uphill for about 15 minutes. It’s a bit difficult. The reception desk of the hotel is already on the fifth floor. It can be physically exhausting to drag luggage. There seems to be no public transportation. The surrounding area should be high-end residential areas. Transportation Slightly inconvenient, it is more suitable for backpackers or self-driving tours.

I stayed one night at Hotel Moguntia before a flight out from Frankfurt airport the next day. They were nice enough to let me check-in early when I emailed them about 5-6 days before my arrival and mentioned that a key would be left for me in the box. When I arrived, there was no key in the box when I used the code provided, so I had to turn on roaming on my cellphone to text them and they had to ask housekeeping to let me in to my room. This was resolved relatively quickly. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. It's about a 15 minute walk from the main train station - my suggestion would be to walk along the main road as there are less cobblestones to drag luggage. My only complaints are that the bathroom trash can was not emptied from the previous guest and the rooms next to the elevators are pretty noisy in the morning as people are checking out. Otherwise, a nice stay at Hotel Moguntia for solo travelers on a budget.

Even though the hall could be renovated and the lift was defect, I felt very well in this hotel. The room made a good impression that the bathroom was apparently relatively freshly renovated. The reception was very friendly at all times. Breakfast was absolutely OK. The only negative points were the narrow parking, which costs €7 per night, as well as the partially high noise scenes when there is something more on the rides.

Due to a coming bilateral eye surgery with my wife, we have travelled 500 kilometres to our former home to make them carry out there. The reason for our stay was known from the beginning. Although we had written/oral contact with four different hotel staff, no one wished all good for the two operations. Atrium Residenz is the neighborhood of Atrium Hotel Mainz, which is also in private possession of Dr. Lothar Becker. There was no check-in. Because of the events, we contacted Mr. Becker after returning. He also thought it was not necessary to ask how my wife is going. For a privately managed house, it is not in any way okay. We were very happy about the room upgrade and that our wish for a quiet room with view to the adjacent fields was met. For the total of 5 nights, we received room 312 assigned. The toilet glasses there looked extremely unpleasant, as they were large yellow/brown in the front and the rear area on the top. The fugs around the bathroom were also very unprecedented, so we had preferred not to bath in it. In the night of Friday, my wife and I were removed from sleep by a clear noise. After intense search, I saw then that the cover and the protective glass had been made independently in the bathroom at the top of the mirror and was on the ground. Fortunately, the glass was not broken. The kitchen equipment was very good, but not the egg rests in the black pan user of the predecessor, as well as the three screws in the coating box. The armature at the washing basin was so relaxed that if you wanted to adjust the temperature, the whole armature turned away and not just the tail. For very dangerous and unacceptable we keep the two reading lights on the bed. The metal cabinet is so hot after a short time so that I (Volker Schmitt) burned my fingers very massively when I touched it. Eventually, it is too strong watt sizes. A roller lame at the door to the balcony was so far divergent that the brightness from outside was thus entering our room. In this respect, with a few pictures, so everyone can objectively form their own opinion. We visited the beautiful lounge twice in the main house. There was a lot of time before the service force came. The question of whether any wishes were still in place or everything was okay was left. Two ladies at the neighbouring table also felt that not well. Since no one passed in the restaurant at the 45 minutes after the empty drink of their two wine glasses, one went before

A well located hotel, a mere 5-10 minute walk from the main station. The hotel was clean and modern on first impression. The reception was pleasant, and welcoming, on first impression. However, staff proved very unhelpful when enquiring about an iron to fix my clothes before a wedding - different stories from different staff, for a simple request. We recieved not even a bit of help. On the second night I wanted to get water from the vending machine but it took my money without credit. The night reciptionist looked at the machine and said there was nothing he could do, he wouldn't even offer a replacement bottle of water. The night receptionist was also helping himself to what I'm certain was a glass of beer. Our room was barely serviced. For the final 2 days we has dirty linen, room were not cleaned after noon apparently. Probably the worst part is that the cleaner on our floor had appauling hygiene, he smelled terrible. And to top it off the elevator did not work. In summary, a very poor experience with some of the most unhelpful staff.
