3km from Kathy'sThe room is typical Motel 6: a clean, basic room. As advertised, it is close to the airport, less than 15 minutes by Uber. There is no coffee pot, microwave, refrigerator, chest of drawers, morning breakfast, etc. This particular Motel 6 is outside of town, not within walking distance of anything else. I had no car, so Uber was a necessity. They are exactly what they advertised to be, a clean, inexpensive room, so five stars.
3.24km from Kathy'sThe staff was friendly and welcoming breakfast was good. The only thing is that the elevators were hot it was like a heater was left on.
3.27km from Kathy'sThis hotel is right off I-25 and is close to the airport and UNM sporting events, but further away from UNM and Downtown where we spent most our time. However, I didn't pick the hotel myself as my friend booked it further in advance and mentioned it was in a better area than those hotels closer to downtown or the campus. As well we were going to a UNM basketball anyways during the 2 night stay. Since I didn't book it, I can't comment on the staff as I had no interaction with them, but did notice in the morning there were donuts out. Room was actually pretty big with a main room with a large bed and a living room near the front door with a pull out couch bed. Both rooms had their own TV and the bathroom and sink area separated the two rooms. Room had a lot of lights and had paintings and mirrors on the wall, making it look decent enough. Also there were a lot of tables and some other sitting areas as well. Toilet had a loose seat, but was fine otherwise and contained the basic amenities. The TV was a bit odd as the frame was compressed somehow and the remote had no way to fix the issue. It made watching sports a bit weird, but unsure if this was just that room or all the rooms. We found some left over food in the fridge in the freezer part and a shirt hanging up in the closet. So seems that maybe the room wasn't cleaned as well as it should have been. The pool was all indoors and also contained a hot tub. I didn't go in, but my friends did and they didn't have any complaints. Again it's walking distance to the sports area for basketball and football which for those going to games can save you for having to pay for parking if you are staying here and there are some food options close by that are a short walk away giving you some options if you didn't want to drive. In fact it's also easy to walk to the main terminal of the airport as well as there is a sidewalk that goes off the road to the terminal if you can find it that is...

3.48km from Kathy'sWe stay here about three times a year. The staff is super. Omar is a great host, always checking to see that everything is going well. Aleida manages the front desk with calm efficiency . The hotel is just starting to under go some major renovations , this will make it much more comfortable. We look forward to another pleasant visit , hope the construction is done so we can see how well it has worked out.
3.49km from Kathy'sInstead of staying at the old town, we chose this Hilton brand hotel. We were able to check into our room earlier. Our original room was 608, a smaller queen bed room. After being in the room for 5 min, I received a text message from the front desk and asked if I was satisfied with the room. I replied, "Our room is in good condition, but we wish our upgrade request could be granted." The front desk responded, "Will check on it and get back to you shortly." Surprisingly, we got a free upgrade and were moved to a much bigger king bed corner room (614)!! This hotel is a green hotel, so it took us a while to get used to the concept (reusable water pouch, no ice bucket, no coffee pot). As compared to another historical hotel, Hotel Albuquerque at Old Town, I liked this hotel better- full of history (furniture, doorway, elevator, fountain,...) with adequate updates. Although there is no in-room coffee pot, complementary coffee is served daily in the morning in the library. Generally speaking their service was great. The only area that needed improvement would be housekeeping. Replenishment of Kleenex and water glass (for a broken glass) was not done well. This is a charming hotel for sure. We were impressed by this Hilton Curio hotel.

3.53km from Kathy'sThis place came very highly rated in a New Mexico travel book by Moon. Kay the manager is sweet and extremely helpful. Our room was spotless with much room and storage. There is a lovely large Spanish fountain outside of the office with comfortable seating. We enjoyed time together there after dinner. Chatted with friendly other folks staying there. At night the Low Riders and big trucks, but it gets quiet right at 10PM, so One can sleep. The bed was extremely comfortable and we slept very well. There is a Rio Grande public park nearby which is great for biking, hiking, pets, kids, ect. Right across the street is a fantastic family owned Mexican restaurant. We had breakfast there. It was a truly memorable meal. Too bad we didn't have dinner there the night before! There was an on-site laundry and an elevator as it's on two levels.

Hotels Near Kathy'S In Albuquerque Review
What do get when you cross a five star hotel with a top notch bed and breakfast? The San Mateo Inn! I am positively in love with this place. Recently renovated, the decor is both rustic and luxurious. I have stayed in a lot of hotels in my travels but this one is truly in a class by itself. One of my favorite aesthetic touches is the decorative strings of chili peppers that hang throughout the property. If I had to pick one word to describe the San Mateo it would be "charming" because it encompasses both the property and the staff. Customer service is their utmost goal and they go the extra mile to make you feel at home. The rates are extremely reasonable and a great value for the money. They also have the best extended stay rates that I have found. To say that it is centrally located is serious understatement. Gas, shopping, groceries, freeway access, major food chains and just about any service business you can think of is literally within blocks. The entire property is clean, safe and well kept. Great amenities and REALLY nice rooms. Do yourself a favor and check it out. It has become my new favorite place to stay in Albuquerque
We stayed here for five days during a business trip. First I have to comment and say all the staff were extraordinarily accommodating and nice the entire time. Always greeted with a smile, when I called guest services with questions they sounded upbeat and went out of their way to make sure I received the correct answer. Ordered room service a couple times and the food was good. One time they brought up the wrong glass of wine but promptly replaced it and comped it. The gym is nice too. With several options. They also offered in the front several choices of water and flavored water! Plus, they had a section dedicated to runners which provided a running path map as well as bottled water and granola bars for when you were done!!
We booked this hotel for the price and the fact that it appeared to be a brand new hotel. We were disappointed from the beginning when we couldn’t find the place with our GPS. FYI Copper Pointe Way is a quick left off I40 behind Walmart and a Toyota Dealership and way down behind a church etc. I had to call the front desk for directions and it was still difficult to find. When we arrived, we saw a sign in the lobby that the pool and hot tub were temporarily closed. Why wouldn’t a hotel notify reservation holders of this inconvenience?! A couple who followed me to registration stated they specifically booked the hotel for this amenity and even called 3 days previously to confirm. You get my point. The clerk responded to them that it wasn’t due to the coronavirus threat. There were also issues with tv reception and the toilet running. Again, for a brand new hotel! I also asked for restaurant recommendations and was provided a list of restaurants. The desk clerk stated she didn’t know the area that well, although she did mention we could use UberEats. There were not a lot of choices nearby although we can’t say there weren’t enough options. We were just weary from traveling and hoped for a close appetizing option. I am an IHG member, although that was t acknowledged by the clerk either. There were some positives, such as the size of the room and new beds. The design of the hotel is also strange with the elevator being very far down the hall from the lobby and front and back entrances. Obviously, our overall impression was unfavorable sorry to say.
Like a few of the other travelers, we have stayed here a few times and once again it was on our way to our destination. But it is showing its age. I had 2 issues in the room that I reported to the staff when I left, so hopefully it will be resolved. I understand their revenue is way down, buffets/pools/fitness centers all closed - it’s very hard for everyone - and probably fewer travelers. And let me add from this guest’s perspective, a brand new hotel room gives a better appearance than a room with stains on the bathroom floor, and visual dust hiding behind the dresser drawer. If the hotel is unable to keep up with that kind of maintenance, it’s put doubt in my mind that the Covid sanitation processes are being properly conducted.
Room was very nice for being so cheap. Everything was clean and worked as it should. WiFi, TV, hot water, room service etc. staff is super friendly! We checked out and I had left my rings on the counter, they were kind enough to let us grab them with no questions asked. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone! Thank you!
Just was told to leave the sleep inn airport because it's easier to be mean and rude than provide hospitality and welcoming basic decency and device. Yes my bad got period blood on comforter, raged at ,humiliated ,harrassessed and thrown out instead of given a new blanket! I even tipped the maid twenty for her trouble! I refused to listen to art the managers humiliation and rage and was told to leave WITHOUT the 100$ dollar deposit in room required for my dog ,even though room left in near perfect condition! Ya ripped off by angry woman hating Art the low vibing creep! Whew! Devil behind me! This place here, the quality inn and suites much cleaner and spacious and welcoming! Enjoying being treated to Paul's friendly and laid back but professional vibe at front desk! Thank u Paul it meant a lot after my day to have your kindness and respect and to be welcome! No hassle or hate or extra expense for my service dog! Gonna try and take a photo of this amazing suite located near shopping the highway and restraunts. The Quality Inn and Suites is my new place to stay in Albuquerque for no hassle, no anger no hate. It's gonna be. Lovely evening in my suite!
Great staff and amazing service. I will be staying again 😌

I recently did a conference here (1/28/2020). I’ve had other events and stays here but this was by far one of my best experiences. From the Sales Manager Antoinette, the GM Angel, the amazing Chef and front desk staff I was completely blown away! They made a panicked moment for me a breeze! When more patrons showed up to our event These amazing people coordinated everything so well and brought extra tables and chairs before anyone could realize that there wasn’t enough and replenished their catered food (taco bar, drinks deserts and all the fixings, which was all delicious!) before anything ever ran out and left me speechless! From the bottom of my heart and my company I thank you all so very much! Outstanding job! They’re rooms are amazing and clean, everything looks so fresh and updated throughout the entire property at the Staybridge Suites North Albuquerque! You won’t be disappointed! Thank you to each and every staff member here who assisted us through our conference! -Choices for Families
Wow! We found the Front Desk to be extremely helpful and wonderful! The room was very clean, all appliances worked, and there was plenty of hot water! Big, spacious bathroom, Cable TV, AC/Heater there was even an AM/FM Clock radio! Jason, Sharon, Jessica and Jeremiah were all above and beyond with customer service. Don't listen to the locals, Value Place on E. Central is safe and secure and staffed with the nicest people!! Thank you all, John and Emma Room 130
If you are traveling to Albuquerque New Mexico, I wholeheartedly recommend making this your place to stay. The Staff Is amazing and the accommodations are fantastic. I have stayed here on numerous occasions and have yet to have a bad experience. Thanks to the entire staff here, you all are amazing.
The hotel was nice and clean and staff was friendly.
Overall, this is an awesome Garden Inn. Room I was in was just refreshed. Very quiet at night. 3 front desk clerks are outstanding and do a wonderful job running the hotel. Now the two problems: 1) They emailed me the bill, and it was wrong. Overcharged. Called diamond services and they agreed with me that I was overcharged. They called the hotel and whomever answered was clueless, so Hilton sent an email to the hotel manager to get me a credit on my card. 2) Then even a worse problem is the restaruant. They open late on weekends. Garden Inn is a working man's hotel. We work early. They open way too late. Hampton doesn't do that. Then when they revamped, they put the waffle maker in the back, they reduced the choices on the self serve. So on the last day when I was flying home, I stopped for breakfast. They had run out of things. No cottage cheese, no v8 juice, they had run out of waffle mix and made their own, which was horrible. When they run out of things, why not go to the piggley wiggley and buy a few things? Over all the stay was great, but the 2 huge problems make me think I need to stay someplace else the next time I work in this city.
I mostly stay at Motel 6 on all my vacations. This one by far is my favorite. Inside the lobby and my room it had a fresh and clean scent. There was coffee, tea and hot chocolate. This hotel has security which is always a plus. The beds were very comfortable, and the room was clean. We stayed here to be near the balloon fiesta, and wow we got a room facing all the balloons taking off in the morning. The view was spectacular! The only thing I would recommend is to turn on your GPS and dont blink driving down the road or else you will miss it. Its in a small area and the 6 sign needs to be up higher and brighter.
As always good and reasonable price
The staff at this hotel are so friendly and helpful. Not once did I ever feel uncomfortable about asking for something I needed. The rooms were clean and the maids were very polite and very helpful. I would definitely stay here again.
The young man at the front desk seemed not to be too enthusiastic welcoming arriving guests, but he does the job. When I booked through the BW website, I asked for a top floor room, but that was ignored, then fixed at my request again during check-in procedure. The room was hot and the A/C not working, until I figured out that the unit was not plugged in. The fridge was not working either, until I discovered the un-pluged power cable. The king bed suite was spacious and looked as advertised. The table had stains and food markings on it from previous guests and the TV in the living room had no signal connection. The TV in the bedroom worked just fine. Trash cans at the side of the entrance were over-loaded with trash and food items spread on the floor. I was pleased that the hotel staff cooks a full breakfast and delivers it to the room as requested. Choices included eggs, sausage, yogurt, cereal and good coffee. Muffins, breads or bagels were not available.
It has been an enjoyable stay at Siegel Select II. This location is easily accessible from I-25 but you will not experience any noise interference from the daily traffic. A recent renovation was completed in November of 2018. All rooms have been remodeled and the amenities were updated. You can get a little taste of the 505 flare as you enter your studio. You will be delighted with an enchanting view of Albuquerque as you settle in and relax in comfort. Other guests that have been here seem mindful and hardly disruptive. The staff is excellent and are always willing to accommodate your needs if any. There are countless eateries surrounding you. This place is basically a hub whether your visiting from out of town or out of state. If you happen to reside in Albuquerque, I'm sure you would consider this as a top ten place overall.
We just returned to Hotel Parq Central after discovering it on our winter trip in 2019. We travel with dogs, so we're very accustomed to Best Western Plus-type-properties for our overnight stays. While there's nothing wrong with that, we've been nothing short of DELIGHTED to arrive at Hotel Parq Central and experience a dog-friendly, 4+ star property! The building is stately, classy, beautifully-decorated and quiet. Super convenient location just off of I-25, but so quiet inside the hotel you can hear a pin drop. Excellent breakfast included (not your average hotel breakfast spread). They have a fenced dog-run area just out the back door of the hotel, but there's also a very nice park just across the street. Last year when we walked our dogs in the park, we saw a young man walking a goat on a leash (fun memory)! Some areas of Albuquerque can be a little sketchy, but we've never had a problem in the areas surrounding this hotel. We'll return, again and again, for a comfortable, friendly stay at this WONDERFUL hotel!
This was one of the best hotels I have stayed at in a very long time great staff very friendly good rooms very pleasant clean felt like home good beds plenty of room to move around was there for 11 days for work very quiet area safe parking it may be a older building but it was clean with friendly staff would definitely recommend this hotel great prices I will definitely stay here again if I am ever in the area Thanks to the staff for making my stay a great one Chad
Everyone here is so awesome, they made me feel so welcome! I might come back just to see everyone again. My visit to NM started off Rocky at the other hotel. But this place made me change my mind about ABQ
We had such a good experience at the hotel. Everyone is friendly and the staff really goes the extra mile to meet your accommodations. Candy, the head of housekeeping made the stay so amazing for my kids! My son had lost his toy car in the elevator and she and an employee showed up with gift bags for both of our kids and replaced his toy car and made his day. Best service we have ever had! We strongly recommend this hotel!
After a poor experience with the desk staff at Motel 6 across the street, we went to this Super 8 to see if they had a “pet-friendly” room available that night. They did and even price-matched the BringFido booking price. So for about the same price, we got breakfast, too. The room was clean and the desk staff was professional and polite.
Terrible, unprofessional service from front desk person April. I had spoken with April about a problem in my room I needed help with. She said she wouldn’t be able to come up as she was the only person at the front desk. I said ok, thank you and hung up. I went to my car and as I passed the front desk on my way back in I heard April speaking on her cell phone saying specific negative things about a guest. I realized she was talking about me. I waited by the office center and she lowered her tone and changed the subject. I asked for the corporate information for the hotel and asked if she was speaking about guests on her cell phone. She denied it multiple times while looking up corporate information. Even if I wasn’t the topic of her personal conversation (I was), her behavior was unprofessional and really just disappointing. You expect a certain level of guest service at hotels in general and this experience really took me off guard. Maybe it’s just isolated to that staff member but my overall experience has been really negatively affected and I do not recommend staying at this hotel.
great check-in process and front desk was informative regarding the location of our room. We were also informed that the hotel had 24 hour security on hand. Breakfast was not offered but maybe in the future they could offer prepackaged breakfast bars or prepackaged breakfast items.
we really enjoyed our stay here. the location was very central to the city. we found the public areas to be clean and updated. the room was very nice. NO CARPET! i love that it had no carpet. the bed was comfortable. the employees were all very helpful and friendly. my only complaint was that the bath room fan stayed on all the time with the light. it was very loud.
This place came very highly rated in a New Mexico travel book by Moon. Kay the manager is sweet and extremely helpful. Our room was spotless with much room and storage. If we could give this hotel a 10, we would. Our dogs loved staying here. The walled courtyard gave them a place to play and "do their business." The staff is very friendly and helpful. We stayed here a week and felt like they were family when we left. We highly recommend this hotel.
We had issues at check-in and check-out. While the night auditor Kayla, who appeared to be training, was sweet and was attempting to help, she was not able to and the other night auditor was absolutely no help at all. It seemed like he didn’t care that we were arriving at 3am and extremely frustrated. Once we were in the room (at 3am) we discovered hair throughout the room, and an overall lack of cleanliness. The GM got involved the next morning to assist us, and made promises to fix the multiple issues and then be in touch, as well as adding bonus points to my loyalty account. Since then, I have still had to call multiple times for my folio (which I still haven’t received) to see the changes she made due to my bank statement being inaccurate after the 3-5 day window for pending charges. I still do not have reflection of any type of service recovery points. And I still have not received any type of follow up communication, despite being promised such by Charlene directly. Extremely disappointed with the overall stay, the leadership team, and lack of communication and follow through. Having worked in hotel management for years, this was a horrible experience and absolutely could have been prevented and/or fixed easily.
