I booked a 3 bedroom apartment. We had 5 in our group. Communication from the staff was excellent. Our train arrived after the office closed. We were given very specific instructions on how to access our unit. Our first impression of our garden view unit was “wow!”. It was spacious, comfortable and clean. Each bedroom had 2 full sized beds (maybe queen sized). The master bedroom had a king size bed. There were 2 bathrooms. The master bedroom had one bathroom and the other bathroom was shared by the 2 other bedrooms. The toilet was in a separate room from the shower. The kitchenette was well equipped with utensils, plates, glasses, a microwave, coffee maker, toaster, frig, dishwasher and stovetop. There was a combo laundry washer/dryer in the bathroom. I brought my own detergent but there were detergent pods provided. Many small convenience stores nearby, Starbucks is about 3-4 blocks away, Nishiki market and the shopping area are a few blocks away as well. The office staff was friendly and helpful.

During our three weeks of travel in Japan, Nest at Nishiki was the nicest hotel we stayed in. It's the type of place where you immediately feel at home, tucked away on a quiet side street within walking distance of restaurants, bars and shops as well as subway and bus lines for when you venture out. Facilities are first rate with everything you need to feel right at home: very comfortable beds in a clean and quiet room with en-suite bathroom and good quality toiletries. Our 'superior' room had a kitchenette with microwave, fridge, kettle and Nespresso coffee machine and comfortable sitting area with small sofa, desk, chair and even a free to use smartphone. For laundry, there was a mini ironing board in the room as well as washing machine and tumble dryer self-service with free to use detergent. The kindness and warmth of the hotel staff was second to none and they did everything they could to make our stay in Kyoto a pleasant one. Our new friend Sachiko :) gave us some great museum tips and advice for day trips. When we return to Kyoto, Nest at Nishiki is where we will stay.

A great Japanese-style tatami hotel, a special surprise is that the room area is so large that it is 40 square meters! ! ! The price-performance ratio is very high, and there is a separate bathroom. If you have lived in Tokyo or Osaka, you will feel a lot of relief at once. The waiters are very enthusiastic and will come to make your bed every night, especially there is an old man on the first floor. It is very enthusiastic. From the beginning of check-in, he will answer any questions you have in detail. He recommends all kinds of delicious and fun. The hotel breakfast has Western and Japanese styles, which are all very good. Japanese styles need to be reserved in advance. The only drawback of the hotel is from the subway. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the station. It is basically located in the center of a block, but the streets and alleys we walk over can really let us experience the local folk customs, especially the many characteristic small shops and izakayas on the roads, waiting for you I found that it will bring you a surprise, and there is also the Kam Market which is only 5 minutes away, which is very worth visiting. Special mention is that there is a Issey Miyake specialty store on the left for a minute after going out, but unfortunately we only found out the morning when we left that they have not yet gone to work~~~~~

Japanese breakfast can be served at 7:30 or 8:30; parking seems to be opposite the hotel; suitable for family trips with friends; room space should be suitable for extra beds but no specific question. The hotel is located in the city center, only 600-700 meters to Takashimaya, and there are many interesting small shops around.....

The family has been to Kyoto before and recommend it to us. General accommodation bookings are not recommended, mainly Japanese. Room facilities are old, the socket does not support domestic chargers, it will electrophoresis, and finally we had to go to a convenience store to buy a Japanese Apple charging head and cable. Although the room has a shower room, but it does not supply hot water, I have to go to the large bathhouse. I go alone at more than 9pm every night, so I am scared. It is more like a homestay. Although there is room service, the waiter will lay a mattress every night and collect it in the morning. Then he will send breakfast to the room (to order with meals). If there are requirements for accommodation, it is recommended not to live anymore.

The spirit of the ultimate service is played in the traditional Japanese life, and it is amazing. 1. In order to avoid the impact on the bed, the mirror is designed to be open and closed, and the wipe is spotless and bright as new. 2. Specially equipped with lacquer boxed popular magazines and common wires for guests 3. The interface desk is well lit, and even if there is direct drinking water, a sufficient amount of bottled water and water heaters are prepared for the foreign guests according to the number of guests. 4. The porch has prepared slippers and yukata for guests to take a bath downstairs and be as free at home. 5. The independent bath room is not only separated from wet and dry, so guests can take a bath after bathing. The bathtub is much deeper than the domestic one. It has two modes: bright and warm. 6. There is a small light window on the bathroom door. If it is lit, it means someone 7. Washlet's buttons are directly on the wall, not only the quality guarantee is more convenient to use, no need to look down the button. In addition, enough toilet paper and odorless freshener were prepared. 8. There is a small basket on the table to place small objects for the guests. 9. Although the bed has been laid. There are also a wide variety of pillow quilts for guests to use. There are also discounted welcome paper cranes, the second day handwritten weather forecast and various cartoon instructions.

Butler service is not a bad thing in the contemporary hotel industry, but a hundred years ago, such conditions and methods are indeed second to none. The focus here is on defects, the room is lit, the lighting is dim, and the facilities are extremely basic. All items placed on the ground and bent to pick up the material is still a test of physical strength, not suitable for guests or elderly people who are tired of travel. And because the wooden structure is very poorly soundproofed, I basically go to sleep at the same time with the big brother on the top of my head. Finally, regarding the service, I would like to say that the evaluation of the charcoal house on the major booking websites is mostly positive, and it is basically admirable to praise the service consciousness of the century-old store. However, we clearly communicated the breakfast and check-out time on the first day, but did not agree with the change of the housekeeper the next day. I have to think about whether the so-called service is just on the surface. I am not thinking about the "heart-to-heart for the sake of the guests." We are not a noisy person, so we are slightly skeptical about the store.

Extremely not recommended is a luxury series in the marriott. Hotel location is OK, Kyoto jr stand out and take a taxi for half an hour. A 3-minute walk from the hotel is the Net Red Shop% Coffee Shop and Michelin Aussie. Looking back and feeling, this hotel did not feel the service of high-end brands at all, let alone the so-called Japanese service. I live in a room with a hot spring in the yard. About 10,000 rmb a night. Of course, there are also reasons for the price increase of the holiday. Usually, it is estimated to be seven or eight thousand. First of all, the room is very simple and there is nothing special. This is ignored first. 1, breakfast is only available in Japanese and Western styles, but it is really very simple and not very delicious. Western style is basically omelet and sausage ham, plus bread and coffee. Mainly still do not eat well. Breakfast is not to win more.      Let's talk about the service of breakfast. The Japanese English is understandable, but where is the awareness of active service? It is really not comparable to the service quality of major hotels or restaurants in China. After the tea was finished, I didn’t know how to add it. I called the waiter three or four times to add water. When you give bread, don't ask which one you want. If you let go, don't ask if you need butter. In fact, there are not many guests, only a total of 5 small tables, 10 people are not. The four waiters were too busy to fly and didn't know what they were doing, and they turned their heads. The things you ask for basically have to wait a long time. If you are going to the sights, it will be a waste of your time. After eating for an hour, I have to ask myself to get the bread from the set. I really don't know if I met a group of new people in Zhongfu? 2, the service is very inconspicuous, just write the member number (according to copy) to write the wrong, write an e-mail to them to send the bill, to the app to see or wrong, really do not understand the copy can also write wrong? There are still a lot of small mistakes that can't be remembered. This small mistake has not been seen in other hotels. And this shouldn't be tied to the level of the hotel, it's too rough. 3, do not call the meal delivery service, it may be okay to order cheaper, think about the hotel meal less than where to go, at night, too lazy to call the cow rice (unit price 5,000 yen and service charge) to open a real look There is no difference between the taste and the meat quality and the Yoshinoya tens of dollars. 4, stayed for two nights, the deep feeling is a Westernized hotel, did not live in Kyoto Hongxi Noya, but if someone is living in which one, I would not recommend you to Tsui, very worthless. Too many domestic service qualities are much higher than them, not to mention the fact that there are more guests in the country than they are. The hotel is very small. There is no other place to go except for a small yard. The restaurant only has A very small hotel, the so-called luxury experience is nothing, rough things, and compared to some street food restaurants in Kyoto. I really don't understand the price and level. Why is this service level? Very very, very not recommended! Don't waste money!

For the first time staying, just write something 1.Convenient transportation The video was taken at the crossroads of the four access roads and the Xidongyuan access road (the road where the hotel is located). There is a big country drug store on the opposite side of the road. The tax can be refunded when it reaches 5,000. There are four young Chinese sisters and a Chinese-speaking Japanese brother . There is a convenience store for the whole family next to it. Picture 1 is Exit 26 of the Karasuma Subway Line (Green Line). There is a coffee shop next to SUINA Muromachi. At the end of the underground passage is Exit 26. When you walk up the escalator, you will see four passages (there is a bus stop). Go back to the exit and go to the left. The third intersection is the video. Cross the road at the third crossroad and walk left to pass the family convenience store about 50 meters to the hotel. 2. Check-in procedure Unfortunately the front desk only speaks Japanese and English After giving the passport to the front desk, you will be asked to fill in the Chinese address, phone number and signature (fill in Chinese only). Then there are things to note: ① For safety, when you go upstairs to the black square of the elevator, you must press the room card to press the elevator button. See figure eight ② Breakfast is on the second floor. You need to take the breakfast voucher to go. I will give you a brand "In Food", put the brand on a large black plate, and then take a plate, chopsticks, knife and fork, wipe the towel and so on. After you finish eating, return the “Food” sign to the person at the door, and leave the other plates on the table. However, the Japanese-style breakfast food is okay, the taste is ok, and there are too few varieties. If you are not used to it, go to the family convenience store. See Figures 4 and 5 ③ There is a men's and women's bathhouse next to the elevator on the first floor. Bath towels are not provided. Bring a large towel in your room when you go. It is recommended to bring a small towel. The door of the bathhouse should be opened with a room card. The man's card is dark brown and the woman's card is white. Don't make a mistake. After entering, drag it on the shoe rack to remember your number, don't get it wrong when you leave. Then take off your clothes (you can change to a bathrobe in the room), put the room card, clothes, and bath towels in the frame, lock the wardrobe door, and remove the key and put it on your wrist. If you are carrying gold bricks or diamonds, you can store them in a steel valuables locker. Close the door and remove the key strap on your wrist. Entering naked (the door is a sliding door, the push cannot be opened, bring a small towel.), It is a Japanese habit to take a bath, bathe, and soak. If you go to the bath without washing up, I'm sorry I don't know you, unless there is no one, I look at you with contempt. It is very comfortable to take a bath in the day and sleep well. It is recommended to take a bath for about 5-10 minutes, otherwise it will peel and it is easy to heat stroke. After coming out, the towels were used up and thrown directly into the box where the towels were recycled. There were cotton swabs and a hairdryer next to them. See figure seven ④ Check-out time is 11 o'clock. Pay attention to the use time, some need half an hour in advance. 3. If you do n’t have enough cash, you can change it on the first floor exchange machine. You can choose Chinese. See figure six 4. The room is small and the whole is clean. The two bottles of water in the refrigerator and the tea bags on the table are free and you can drink as much as you want. See Figures 2 and 3 5. The hotel is close to Kyoto Imperial Palace, Nishiki Market, Daimaru Department Store, and Anime Museum. 5 star praise, will choose here next time.

It is conveniently located diagonally opposite Kyoto Station, and there are many shops and restaurants around. Don Quixote, Yodo Yaki, Isetan and more. The hotel is great and the service is exceptional. The little brother at the front desk smiled a lot, and will also give you a Chinese version of the instructions when you check in. The hotel has a lot of non-Japanese guests, so the TV has many foreign language stations. Phoenix TV, both CCTV-4. The breakfast was a horrible meal, and it was so good. Take various skin care products casually in the lobby on the first floor. The bathroom mirror in the room is magical, and the piece in the middle of the shower will never be blurred. I touched my hand and it was hot. But it felt cold in the morning. It seems that the mirror has an induction function, and it will automatically heat up when it encounters steam. The bathtub also has a sensual function, and the water will automatically turn off when it is placed in a certain position. Very advanced. There is a Seven convenience store next to it too convenient. I bought it at 12 o'clock the day before leaving. Don Quixote is also very good. The hotel is located in Kaohsiung, the western part of Kyoto City. The transportation is very convenient. You can take the municipal bus No. 8 directly to Kaohsiung (terminal) in the city. Attention! City No. 8 is a long-distance bus that runs every hour. Google Maps is excellent for navigation, because Google will display the bus arrival time, which is very accurate. After getting off the bus, you can call the hotel. The boss will drive you to the hotel. If you walk to the hotel, there is a way down the mountain. It is not easy to walk with large luggage. Everyone who enters the hotel is very enthusiastic and has no strangeness at all. The boss can speak English and communication is no problem. Dinner is usually booked in the hotel, because there are no restaurants around, there will be no tourists around 4:30. The hotel is very quiet around, and I personally think that you can experience authentic Japanese cuisine, which is delicious and not too expensive. The rooms are pure Japanese style, spacious and comfortable. There is a hot spring on the second floor. You can take a bath in the morning and evening, because the hotel does not have a few rooms, and it is very quiet. This is my favorite. When I checked in, the boss gave a guide map of the surrounding attractions, which was of great help to me. The surrounding attractions, Jingoji Temple, are within easy reach. Behind the hotel is the mountain road leading to Jingoji Temple. The fare is 600 yen. Nishikyo Temple is 5 minutes away. The fare is 500 yen. Takayama Temple is about 15 minutes away. The price is 800 yen. It is recommended to stay for two nights, so that you will not be very tired. I want to recommend it to my friends. I found a hiking route ~ Donghai Nature Trail. Walking in is like a paradise. Natural oxygen bar. See you on the road. Everyone in will greet politely. The hotel booked this time is really unforgettable. The hotel owner was not there when we left, but we sent a car to the Saga Arashiyama JR line. It was so touching. Finally, I would like to thank all the hotel staff for their warm reception. .

We discovered this hotel purely by random search and was surprisingly delighted during our stay. There're very few review but I think it's because of being newly opened in April. Will definitely come back again if we visit Kyoto. We travelled in a family of 4 (including 2 children) 1)staff are super-friendly, speak English and helpful 2)they just introduced breakfast few days before our arrival --very nice waffle served with tea/coffee; 3)room is super clean - basically dustless and zero stain even at the corn of the room. 4)the room contains 2 big single bed and 2 Tatami with soft and nice mattress. 5)tea and coffee are very good. 6)5-10 mins walk from subway --not super close but the walk is very peaceful and nice. Some restaurants around. The only little drawback is in the breakfast. There's no milk, no juice for kids but it's just the 3rd day they started this service so I'm sure they will continue improving.

This is a very small (6 rooms) 4-star hotel tucked away on a historic street west of the Imperial Palace. It’s like a Ryokan with western beds. We felt it was a great find! It’s a 100-year-old house that was renovated into a hotel a few years ago. It still has the historic façade and the old curved beams, but everything else is brand new and spotless. The staff is extremely helpful and understands English well. As one example (of many), when we went to a tiny Japanese steak restaurant nearby with no English menu, someone from the hotel went with us to help us order. The room is very large by Japanese standards (45 sq mtrs). We booked a “2 Large Beds” room, and it was actually a 2-room suite with 2 wide twin beds, a sectional sofa and coffee table, and a large tub with shower. It had a balcony, but no view. The beds were nice and soft, with big down comforters. Other rooms have private gardens, outdoor tubs, and Tatami-mat sitting rooms. The street is almost all historic buildings (most of them renovated) that was one of the original Geisha districts of Kyoto, and it’s extremely quiet. There’s a large temple complex at the end. The neighborhood has a lot of very small restaurants, mostly Japanese and a few western. The hotel staff created flyers in Japanese and English for many of them, including maps. There are a lot of small shops and a 7-11 in the neighborhood, but it is a 10-block walk to a supermarket or large pharmacy. It’s a half-hour bus ride to downtown and 20 minutes by taxi to Kyoto station, but it’s much closer to the Imperial Palace, the Textile Museum, and the temples in northern Kyoto. We had stayed downtown at a big tourist hotel earlier in our trip, and found this hotel, the staff and the neighborhood to all be a lovely change.

Average 3 star hotel. Stayed with my extended family and young children during a recent trip to Japan. We were on a UTO tour, and this was one of the hotels chosen by the tour company. It is average to nice. It is clean and I don’t see any bugs anywhere. The staff goes above and beyond to accommodate and are very helpful. Even though they don’t speak much English, they’re willing to cater to any requests or questions. The beds are comfortable, but the pillows are pretty flat. Sleep quality is decent, the comforters are nice, soft, and fluffy. Rooms are small, Typical of hotel rooms in Japan, much like hotels in New York City are on the smaller side. Cons: It’s a little out-of-the-way, not really in the center of town at all. On one hand it’s a little further from touristy stuff, but on the other hand it’s nice to go walking around and explore a local village., That is on the outskirts of Kyoto it’s a little out-of-the-way, not really in the center of town at all. The service is very good, greetings are greeted by the entrance and exit. Most of the staff do not understand English and Chinese. When they eat, they only meet a young girl who speaks Chinese. The room we stayed in was very new, the health was good, and the size was suitable for our family of four. The children liked tatami. Breakfast is a fixed meal, it is not bad, stayed for two days, our dinner is solved in the restaurant on the second floor, the price is quite good, cheaper than eating outside and tastes good. Bathing is very convenient, there are indoors and open air, just do not understand why the male and female soups are interchangeable every day. Finally, the worst place for a Japanese hotel is to check in at 4 pm, check out at 10 in the morning, and the time is too tight.

It is close to the Shijo-Shijo and Heyuan-cho subway station, and the flower-seeing road is next to it, and it is a 20-minute walk to Kiyomizu-dera Temple. The hotel is very creative and design style, breakfast is Japanese and self-service is also very attentive, the room is too small, 16,000, 7 live in the hotel space.

Very close to the station, the hotel is clean, the staff is friendly, the Japanese-style tatami room is still very sensational, so the price is fairly friendly. There were not many people when I went there, and the private soup was basically not in line. The kaiseki dinner was not as delicious as expected. The next day, I chose Japanese style for breakfast and a bit of thunder. There was free ramen at night. Usually I had free popsicles and Yakult in the hot spring. Focus on picking up the matcha-flavored biscuits in the room. They are bitter and delicious. I went to the gift shop and bought a dozen or so boxes to give away. The guests received a 10% discount. In summary, it is very cost-effective to eat about one thousand per person during the off-peak season. Btw, some restaurants in Lanshan are delicious. .

Kyoto Station

Good location. Go to the south exit of Kyoto Station. After arriving at the main road, there is an ibis on the opposite side. Go in that direction and pass an MK taxi and 7-11. If you want to take a bus, go to the first station and walk to the north of Kyoto Station. The advantage is that the hotel does not rely on the main road, so there is no car sound, but the sound insulation of the corridor is worse. The room is not so small. It should be a 1.8m bed? It feels pretty big. Good health, with small bathtub. Other toiletries and interior items are basically standard. Because it is a newly opened hotel this year, the overall is pretty good. However, the toothbrush is really hard and the pillows are really tall ... English is ok, no Chinese staff. Need to pay Kyoto taxes and fees, 200 yen per person per day

Outstanding location among hotels in Kyoto. The architecture is also very quaint and wonderful. The view of Kyoto as you walk to the accommodation building is very nice. The service was not bad, but overall, the staff seemed too tense and not relaxed. Overall, the female staff was more tactful and seemed to follow up where they were lacking. As a guest, I'm not looking for the service of Ryokan, however, compared to Park Hyatt Tokyo, this hotel is inferior in many respects. Breakfast: The food is great. However, first of all, breakfast time at KYOTO BISTRO was very hectic. Perhaps I should have eaten in my room. When we went to the BISTRO, we were ushered to our seats and then left for more than 20 minutes. No one came to take our order. The man who showed us to our seats didn't look at us at all, seemed busy for something, but he should take care of the guests. When I complained, another female staff in the uniform suit, politely followed up, but honestly, I don't think this is something that should happen in a hotel of this class. While the Japanese breakfast is excellent, the kaiseki style service makes serving a burden on the staff and neglects other services in many areas. Instead Kaiseki, it's better to switch with Ozen style, if the service can be better. Because we had a kaiseki meal outside for dinner, I don't know about the in-hotel restaurant, but I think it's promising. Amenities: I don't understand why the hotel use the LE LABO that are used in in the fashion hotel like ACE HOTEL? The scent of LE LABO is also subtle and does not match the mood of Kyoto. I'm sure the guests here do not want to stay in New York. Cooperation between front desk staff and concierge: Since there are only about 70 rooms, it would be nice to have a little more information about the restaurants, the city, and other recommendations based on the needs of the guests. It's not much different from Japanese hotels if they simply explain the service in a straightforward and polite manner. Would be nice if there are positive surprises from the service staff. GM-ish person...: In the lobby lounge, I saw a weird scene. A guest seemed to be waiting for hotel staff for some confirmations in the lobby lounge. Nearby, what appeared to be a manager (who was white) was chatting with a visitor for a bit long time. It's not that I was being kept waiting, but it's not a pleasant thing to see. It's lacking a kind of Omotenashi as a manager. Overall, It's a great hotel in Kyoto, but I still want it to be better, Park Hyatt can be.

It was such a change from all the Ryokans that we had stayed we realized that we were relieved to be able to see everything. We didn't have to pack and unpack on the floor! We had breakfast on 2 of the 3 days we stayed and it was excellent. I can't say enough about the service at the front desk. They were beyond accomodating, helping with maps and manicures, we appreciated their attention to detail. Our room #202 did not have a view and it was light and clean. If you would like to get off the floor for a couple of days I don't think that you could do better than this hotel.

Stayed in early Oct 2019. Seems new and very clean, good bed & facilities. Insufficient guidance/instruction in english on how to use facilties eg. clothe dryer and how to dispose trash outside (we wanted to be responsible visitors). Had to insist that we have booking confirmation for its shuttle bus from guest center to the site. The biggest issue is the hard pillow making it's hard to get good sleep (will give more star if it's softer. Later i found out that all subsequent hostels we stayed at have hard pillows, is it japanese thing?). Take note of credit card when making payment, as it requires non-signing type. Close to 1km from nearest train station (JR Tambaguchi) but actually there are JR bus stops nearby (nanajo omiya near 7-11), a small saving if you use JR pass and help protect yr luggage's tires a little bit. Would like to suggest to provide a simple cleaning tool ie. little broom to clean toilet area. Overall it was good enough but rather offended by it's lack of empathy to non japanese & kanji reader.
