Whenever I come back home to Philadelphia I always stay at this particular location because it’s near WaWa, Chase Bank, Chick-fil-A, Walmart, Starbucks, Home Depot, Willow Grove Mall and it’s convenient to the PA Turnpike….Unfortunately, this time was my last time staying at THIS location. I made my reservation a month in advance (through a Third-Party) and the evening after driving over 15 plus hours I arrive extremely exhausted and checked in… My first impression was it’s dirty, people were hanging around, cigarette butts everywhere, trash everywhere, and the lobby was dirty… The luggage dolly had dog hair on it, I was never told about the $100 deposit when I made the reservation……the first room I was given was Rm 111 it had dirty sheets, it smelled very musty and moldy…the second room I was given was Rm 104 it was not cleaned…the sheets were also dingy and there was feces in the toilet!!!! Clearly indicating it too was not properly cleaned…the 3rd room was Rm 134 it had cobwebs in the corners, I found out later that the shower backed up while I was using it and the toilet would run all night and NO I did not feel like changing rooms again! I just kept the bathroom door closed and kept the television on all night to muffle the sound… anyway the employee “Tresvor” (not sure if it’s spelled correctly) said that he was going to refund me my money for my inconvenience ($654 plus the $100 deposit) the next morning I received a phone call from the “manager” who told me that I was told in error about the refund and that I was only going to be refunded for only one night…an hour later I received another phone telling me about an audit and that I have to pay for my stay $523… this action and the employees error caused my bank account to be frozen which inconvenient me for 2 days! Now on a bright note: if you wanna stay at an Extended Stay America in Horsham, PA PLEASE stay at the one at 537 Dresher Road! The staff is nicer, the parking lot is clean, the outside is well maintained, the lobby is clean, it’s quieter and the room was immaculate!!!

I stayed at Holiday Inn Ft. Washington for 3 nights while on a business trip. Check-in was efficient and friendly. There were 2 staff checking in people in parallel. I really like the huge lobby, lounge and eating areas as the decoration is really nice and the area is divided into different zones. During breakfast in the morning, it was always easy to spread out. My room (standard king suite) had a nice layout. with a large desk. There were, however, no USB plugs, so bring our adapter. What I liked: - Large TV with lots of channels and a spare HDMI port and remote with Input selection (to plug a streaming box in) - Reliable WiFi - Quiet room to room with a bit of outside road noise or train noise, but the windows do a great job of muting sound - Super comfortable bed and nice linens - The min-fridge is not as small as those mini bar fridges, but about double the size - Microwave oven - Wall mounted dispensers in shower - Ice bucket and coffee maker - 1 real telephone - The hide-a-bed couch is actually comfortable - Heating/AC good - Large windows in both rooms To improve - Drains (sink and bathtub/shower were very slow to drain) - During breakfast, they have very upbeat lively music playing and then on top of that they have 2 TVs with sound on, one CNN and one FOX., so 3 sound sources in all, which doesn't seem to match the serene decor. Also, parking was plentiful and free

Arlington, VA 11919 4/12/2022 7 photos I stayed here for two nights in April 2022. I've stayed at many Fairfield Inns and this one was the worst! To start off, the non-smoking room smelled like cigarettes or something similar; the smell didn't go away after two nights. The HVAC system was in need of servicing and sounded awful. The shower stall was in need of cleaning and showed evidence of ”pink mold.” I forgot to pack shampoo and conditioner and went down to the front desk to request some (since it wasn't provided in the room). It was 1:00 AM and the lights above the front desk were turned off and no one was around. I waited ten minutes, called to the manager's office where the lights were on but no luck. I finally walked into the manager's office to see if anyone was around. Ghost town. I skipped washing my hair that night. Sigh. Sat morning I went to breakfast

Having stayed at a few IHG hotels I was expecting more. On the surface it seems like a decent place but after closer inspection it’s more like putting lipstick on a pig. The front desk area was the cleanest place in the hotel. We stayed 2 nights for a soccer tournament so I did not complain but had it been a family vacation I would have been disappointed. My room, 301, was quiet with a small functional kitchenette and I liked the complimentary shower gel, shampoo, etc. but those are the only good things I can say. The chair in the kitchen area was torn, the ceiling in the living room was sagging with an obvious patch and looked as though it could collapse, the bathroom door would not close without being lifted up and the handle was falling off, the walls and doors were dirty and the carpet in the room and hallways was worn. The hallways smelled like smoke, specifically *********, and there were adult men hanging out at their vehicles in the evening. It seems as though some may live there. I wouldn’t say this is a family hotel but definitely an extended stay for people working in the area or those needing short term housing. Several in our group used “sketchy” to describe the hotel. There were also doors to outside propped open so it was not secure. There was a nice grassy areas next the hotel that our group enjoyed using. I would not recommend or choose this hotel in the future.

My wife and I were in Willow Grove for a funeral and stayed one night at the Marriot Courtyard . It is a typical Marriot location.....clean, up to date with really nice and professional staff. A special shout out to the lady at the front desk, Tia, who went out of her way to make us feel welcome. The hotel is close to the PA turnpike and a Wawa is just up the street. Miller's Ale House, which serves typical pub food is a two minute walk across the parking lot. We ate there (the fajitas) and they were good as well as the service. If we are back in the region, we will definitely stay at the Marriot again.

Friendly staff, clean room... contemporary design in the room, but the bathroom felt a little dated to me. Nicely decorated, but definitely saw clues of where the building and room was on the older side... for example, we had 4 ppl staying in the room, but there was no place to hang used bath towels in the bathroom... so we hung towels in the closet on hangers. Weird right? The hotel was generally nice, but a few quirks kinda got under my skin. First, we did self parking and while there is a garage in the building (convenient) the signage for where to park is vague at best. Eventually we found an employee who told us we could park on the first floor (closest to street) - but in spots marked as ”reserved”... of course this happened after we drove all the way to the bottom of the garage, looking for ”Westin guests park here” signs. Secondly, we were there on a long weekend and wanted to do some sightseeing. It was a healthy 15-20 min walk to the Reading Terminal Market (a comfortable walk around/through City Hall), and we had to drive to Chinatown. On this particular trip to Philly we didn't visit Independence Hall, but that isn't close either. Nice place, but there are definitely more convenient hotels for tourists.

From the outside the hotel looks updated but inside it is a time machine back to the 70s. Other than the newer carpet the rooms were decades behind what you would expect from a Marriott property. Breakfast was less than minimal, but the coffee was at least ok. The staff is one high point, everyone I dealt with was a delight, and even if simply walking past you they smiled and said hello.

The hotel was worth the rate. I enjoy Hilton hotels for travel. The only issue I had was that there was a group traveling with children who checked in the day after I did and they were very noisy. They were staying between several rooms and the children would run through the halls. The adults would hold loud conversations in the hallway which was disturbing at times.

The location is awesome. Easy to get to and from the major attraction in the city. i was there for the Penn Relays and it was a great, easy scenic 1.5 mile walk to and from each day. Got my exercise while seeing the city from on foot. Best of all on my walks this was how i decided where I would eat breakfast and dinner. So I was able to try something different each day. i was a little tempted to try Ruth Chris but I did not :(. The train ride to and from the airport was quick, easy directions to follow and though not the most scenic ride on the train, seeing the steel and stuff looks industrial America. I likes!! I did try one of the take out Chinese food spots ..oh man.. that was colorful to say the least...Bring Your Own Bag!! What an experience that was.. I guess its a city thing. The room was nice. I got real comfy real fast. The bed was super comfy and the view reminded me of my college days in NY. Just watching cars go by and at night with the lights reflecting off the windows creating various patterns. My only challenge was the TV... can you believe after all that good stuff my issue was the TV!? Just the hardest thing to navigate. maybe its cause I dont watch enough TV. :).

We picked this hotel for it's location. Our room was good size but carpet was dirty. The Coins restaurant was good and Tracy and Jessie made our evenings very nice, great service. The guests that arrived during our last 2 days made It very uncomfortable to enjoy sitting outside in the evening Or sitting in the Coins restaurant. Smoking dope, skateboarding on the sidewalk and just out of control with no respect for anyone. So sad that the staff at the restaurant had to deal with them, we went to our room early our last 2 days for this reason.

The first thing we noticed when getting to our room was the lovely note that addressed as “Valued Guest”. I’ve enclosed a picture. It gave us lots of useful information about the hotel like the fact that they will never, under any circumstances, enter our room. This includes cleaning. This is to protect us from the pandemic, which is so thoughtful and caring of them. Interestingly, this experience taught me that the COVID virus has some fascinating properties. If you are in your room, it is extremely deadly and virulent and requires complete isolation. However, if you’re in the restaurant or bar spending money, you can congregate freely and maskless. I had no idea spending money had anti-viral properties. This keeps the restaurant workers very busy. On the other hand, the housekeepers that previously worked there now have a chance to pursue other interests with their free time (perhaps finding new recipes for dog food to feed their families. The room itself was fun. We had a resident pet (see enclosed picture) who went out of her way to kill any insects in one corner of our room. There was a fun puzzle sticker peeling away in the shower (see picture). I can’t figure out what it means, can you? We also enjoyed the extra space provided by not having a security safe in the room. Who needs one when no one will ever come in. The employees were fun too. When I called to reserve the pool per the instructions on the lovely Valued Guest note, we were told we didn’t need to. Haha Mr. Desk Clerk – gaslighting is fun. In keeping with their apparent motto of “We can always do less”, I had an experience in the Bistro with a barista who was extremely eager to do a great job and take good care of me. But management noticed immediately and instantly reprimanded him for it. I like a business that stick to its values! I wanted to let management know about my fun and interesting experience. As you’ll see at the bottom of the Valued Guest note, they let us know how desperately they want to exceed our expectations and ask us to fill out a brief survey on the back of the letter. But flip it over and hahaha it’s a blank page. Well played Courtyard… well played.

The stay was a bit tortuous. First of all, I didn't have my reservation information at the front desk after I arrived at the hotel. I contacted Ctrip butler and fortunately helped me to call to solve the problem. Secondly, when I arrived at the room, I found that the room type was inconsistent with my booking, and communicated with the Ctrip housekeeper for a long time, indicating that I booked a suite but the hotel gave me a one-room room, and finally said that I would make up the difference. It's really not easy to think about it. Ctrip's overseas hotels are obviously shortcomings. Many problems have been encountered in booking Ctrip's overseas hotels for so many years. Besides this hotel, the location is very good, it is close to the bus station, and there is a big market across from it. I booked breakfast at the hotel, but I didn't know it was over at 9:30, so I didn't have it late. Overall pretty good.

Of course, a little more is the Art Palace and the Rodin Sculpture Museum. There is a Chinese restaurant on the first floor of the hotel, which is better than the chain fast food. The Chinese stomach is OK. The rooms are large with kitchen, free coffee and mineral water, and the kitchen is stocked with a small bottle of detergent. There is a cloakroom, not a cabinet, a big box spread out no problem. The staff were welcoming if a little business-like upon arrival. Valet staff were also efficient. We were disappointed to be provided with a room which wasn’t clean. There were stains on the bed sheets and the floors hadn’t been vacuumed properly. We went back downstairs to reception and they fixed us up with a different room straightaway. They also waived the valet parking fee without asking to make amends, which was cool. We only stayed for one night, and didn’t try any of the breakfast or drink options. The interior of the hotel is a little dark, but seemed fine for a city hotel.
