Upon first arrival, the doorman was helpful and gave a bit of comfort. The staff is very lovely and helpful. The hotel atmosphere is warm and pleasant. Rooms are a bit but small in comparison to those in the US but that’s expected. The hotel is a great central location, making it perfect for walking to most tourist sites in Dublin. Located in Temple Bar, you have your pick of restaurants, pubs, cafes, and tourist shops. The hotel sits right above a Tesco Express for convenience of grabbing snacks and drinks for your days out. It was quite ideal! I will say, you should expect loud street noise and late night loud music from the pub across the street and those surrounding. Especially with a room on the street side and needing an open window for airflow like we did. It comes with choosing a hotel in Temple Bar, though. Closing the secondary window does help reduce the noise. WiFi worked alright from our room. Had some trouble with getting to work on phones, but could just be our international phones. Overall, we had a pleasant first stay in Dublin and appreciate the hotel staff’s assistance.

Fabulous hotel. So central to many restaurants and bars. The hotel itself is great. Check-in was so smooth and friendly (I forgot to get the girls name, but she was great). We dined in the restaurant and had some AMAZING cocktails. First off Nadia from Argentina was so amazing as a host. Morgan Hotel you are lucky to have this lady in your hotel. Finally, I'm a girl who likes an exquisite cocktail. Yeh I can order off the cocktail menu but I am happy to take a risk :). WOW Gabriel the mixologist did an amazing job. He was just not behind the bar, when I asked for 'mixologist choice', he came to the table, asked a number of questions before he did his magic. Just WOW, WOW fab cocktail Nadia and Gabriel, you made our night. Thank you.

A beautiful hotel with a fabulous breakfast, gorgeous lobby with a bar to get a drink after a day of exploring. I hate to even add this because it's not the hotels fault its in the heart of temple bar but it is incredibly loud at night. If it is cool enough to close windows at night it would help but it wasn't quite cool enough when we stayed for that. The hotel staff, beautiful architecture, and charm make up for it but it is a factor to consider. Additionally rooms and bathrooms are very small but I don't spend much time in it outside of sleeping anyway when on vacation.

My partner and I stayed at this hotel and there was nothing to fault. A major well done to the accommodation staff that are very clearly professionals that take pride in their work, top to bottom the room was spotless and beautifully presented. Not even a speck of dust or a smudge on a mirror to be seen. The little details in the room make a difference… there was some calming oil beside the bed, the AC system is idiot proof, USB ports beside each side of the bed, an alarm clock (which actually did go off randomly at 6am but I’m going to blame the previous guests for this) and separate shampoos and conditioners (my hair thanks you). The shower I wanted to bring home with us. Perfect water pressure and loads of space. Someone had very clearly thought through the full guest experience. The staff are very friendly and helpful, especially the breakfast staff and Thomas on reception who I think may have gone to the Middle East in search of some cordial for us, but we appreciated his determination. The hotel itself is extremely well maintained and a nice mixture of modern but also making the most of the gorgeous old building. There’s also a very nice perfume that they use throughout reception. A really nice variety of options at breakfast, the fresh honey still on the comb was a particularly nice touch. Overall it is a bit pricey but you are getting what you pay for. Attention to detail, beautifully presented in a perfect location. Would definitely recommend if you want a touch of luxury.

Great location! In the heart of the Temple Bar district. I can warmly recommend this hotel. A good stay starts from the reception and staff that are meeting you. Very nice welcoming as you would expect from a 4-star hotel. Very friendly staff with good communication skills. Toast breakfast restaurant. Continental breakfast with just the right amount of hot and cold food. Excellent service with helpful and polite staff. Travelling with wheelchair was not an hinderance. We had an accessible room with large bathroom and enough space to move around. Rooms were cleaned daily, beds were made and fresh towels every day. The room itself was soundproof, no noises from the street. Buskers sports and music bar was spacious, modern and didn't feel crowded even if the bar was full of people. Live music added to the atmosphere.

I already posted this review on booking.com and google, but think it is important to share it on every platform. 1st day: · we checked in at 2pm, with a nice staff that explained everything. We got a 10 person-room, non-mixed, on the last floor. · when we arrived in the room, we took a shower, and found the bathroom in this condition: hair in the shower, dirty bathroom floors, mold on the ceiling and a clutched sink. Furthermore, one toilet and bathroom for 10 people is very little, and the fact that the toilets are IN the bathroom makes it kind of hard to actually live all-together. · There was also hair in the clean sheets, which were definitely not mine, since I'm bald, and those were long and black. · during the night, a woman entered our room looking for her bed - mind all the 10 beds were already occupied, and there was no other available in the room - and the clothes she had left in the morning. She was Italian and didn't speak English, but hopefully one of us spoke Italian. Apparently the staff had removed her things, while she still had a reservation. A member of the staff (male, in a 10 women-only bedroom, while we were all sleeping in our underwears) to come back with her in our room 5 consecutive times - mind it was 1 in the morning - obviously lost as what to do with this situation, since all of us, including the woman, had a booking in the room. So, 11 people in a 10 people bedroom. We ended up having only 3 hours of sleep, as we had to wake up at 5 the following day. The employee didn't give us any explanation or apologise. She had a key, which really terrorised us, because if she had a key, it means the reception really has no idea of who is in the hostel, and who sleeps where. 2nd day: · We complained at reception about the condition of the room and what happened the night before. The lady was nice and apologised but basically told us to speak to the manager the day after because he wasn't in, without giving us any information about what happened or any solution. . Our cards also decided to stop working randomly (even though we were careful not to put them next to our phones to try and not demagnitised them), so we had to go to reception and ask for them to change them. 3rd day: · We complained to the manager, who told us it wouldn't happen again and said the bathroom would be clean (after 2 days). About the Italian woman situation, the manager explained that she had booked the room for only a week and apparently didn't know her reservation had ended, so everything belonging to her had been taken out of the room. She then asked the receptionist at night for the key, so that she could get her stuff back, and then tried to stay to sleep (?). So anyways, a really weird and disturbing situation, as they let a person enter our room in the middle of the night without checking her records. · The bathroom was cleaned, and the sink uncloged, which was a good point. 4th day · We were glad to finally leave the hotel, and found ou

For all the travelers that are looking for a unique experience in Dublin, in the heart of the “night life”, I would 100% say this is the right place for you! Excellent position, everything was walking distance. The Trinity bar is absolutely a lovely place to eat (good food), drink (my sex on the beach was perfect) and party! The bar staff was fantastic and also room service was good. The room is nice, very bright and as it had the sun all day, very hot. The furniture and details are very nice, recalled a little Paris in 1930’s. Only one small suggestion, for the reception staff, to be a little more prepared on requests for tour reservations that are in this case also promoted on the website. Overall I would repeat my experience.

Just returned from a 3 night stay at The Harding Hotel, can't fault anything from check in to checkout. We arrived mid morning and was pleasantly surprised that our room was ready so early. Room was spotless, bed was comfy and the room was spacious with everything you need including hairdryer, iron, fridge, tea making facilities etc. Breakfast was good with plenty of options. It is in a great location with only a 5 minute walk to temple bar and if you don't want to go far in the evening the bar next door is great too. Thanks for a great few days, would definitely return if I visit Dublin again.

Loved our stay here . We booked to stay for Ed Sheeran concert and the touches of the balloons, staff wearing Ed t-shirts and the Ed life size figure in the lobby all added to the fun and glass of Prosecco on arrival was lovely touch.Staff were very friendly and welcoming . Car park was packed but the lovely gentleman on car park duty sorted us out with a space .Rooms were a decent size and they had my favourite ritual toiletries. Will most definitely stay here again .

The sanitation is very good, the room layout is reasonable and neat, far from the city, but the downstairs is the starting point of the tram, it is very convenient to go to the airport, the 747 and 757 are separated by a small block on the south side of the hotel. 7 euros direct to the airport. It seems that green apples are available every day in the corridor. The restaurant bar is good and there is an open-air balcony outside.

I had booked a family suite, meaning two rooms with a shared bathroom. Unfortunately the doors and locks for the bathroom did not work, leading to loud and awkward situations in the night. Room was big and had plenty of storage, but all the furniture was not very well maintained: broken hinges on the wardrobes, broken drawers, scratched surfaces and a dirty office chair… it was all usable, but in a bad condition. Not very nice to stay in. The bathroom was clean, but also in need of many minor fixes: the drain was slow, there was no pressure on the shower for the bathtub. We discovered that there was not going to be any housekeeping when we arrived - which was not communicated at booking. A note informed us to telephone reception in order to get beds made and new towels. I asked for this to be done and was assured it would happen during the day - when we came back in the evening, nobody had been and our used towels were still exactly where we had left them. Again, for a short stay, i don’t mind keeping my room tidy myself, but I expect better service from such a high class hotel. The spa is big and the staff are nice - however, everything is a bit dated and there is rust and peeled off paint visible in many places. The advertised jacuzzi wasn’t available, it looked like it had been permanently disabled and turned into a flower display. Overall, it was manageable, but I expected much better from a hotel at this category, and especially for this price. Staff was very friendly, but ultimately unhelpful.

Was out booked to the Hilton, from an IHG staff booking. Was expecting a lot from this brand but well let down. On check, we were asked if we needed a shuttle to the airport. As we needed it for 4am, reception staff member said it would be a taxi as shuttle does not start till 5am. Surely its a simple request when people book to work out if its cheaper to run a full courtesy bus at this time. Moving on to dining, as I had done on previous visits to HI dublin airport and CP dublin airport, I invited my brother and his wife for dinner in the hotel. When they arrived, were first told no outside people allowed in, then told no one in tracksuits allowed in. I questioned "security" and was told I need to discuss with F&B supervisor. This supervisor was shocked by the actions of security and apologised and gave us a table. We then ordered from a lovely assistant (I want to say burca) really helpful and full of chat. We order 2 x mains plus 6 drinks. Drinks arrived 20 minutes after the food. I subsequently ordered "baby back ribs" these were more like pork belly with the amount of fat on them. I mentioned to a server and she said she would discuss with chef. At the end, I again said the meat was sub standard and was told they would discuss with the chef. Our bill was nearly €100 and no came to follow up. I'll be here till 4am so not much more this supposed "quality" brand can mess up as customer service was poor tonight.

Clearly inspired by 1970’s airport lounges, this hotel is a genuine refreshing change from your usual fare. We were booked in to sister hotel, The Mont, situated across the road however she wasn’t reopened in time for our stay so we were transferred. Good welcome and swift check-in meant we got to our room without delay. Room well equipped with all you needed. Superb Californian King bed…..just blissful. Silly uncomfortable occasional chair proved pointless to sit in. Huge TV! Loved it. Tiny bathroom but still, it did the job. We had access to the Executive Lounge which was pleasant. Breakfast was exceptional! Make sure you book that in. Outstanding gym (at the Mont) which I used with gusto! We recommend The Alex. My only advice would be to change those hideous occasional chairs with a sofa :) All the best people….and thank you.

Very clean, modern hotel with comfortable rooms, short 15 minute walk along O'Connell street to Temple Bar/City Centre areas, good value breakfast available, rooms are very well equipped e.g. USB charging, smart TV, Nespresso coffee in the room and luxury toiletries are a nice touch! Very friendly and helpful staff, free of charge luggage storage is excellent service. Highly recommended for city break in Dublin, located in a quiet street just outside of town but can walk to most attractions and good bus/transport links if you need them. Our stay was excellent, however two minor issues we had were that the air conditioning panel in the room didn't seem to work/adjust the temperature, and also the water pressure in the bathroom was not the best at 'busy' times!

We were meant to be staying in the Royal Marine Hotel in Dunlaoghaire but one week prior to our stay they informed us that they could only put us up for three nights instead of 7. A lovely lady by the name of Hayley Doyle kindly arranged for the Rochestown Lodge to put us up instead. So glad she did. We had a lovely week. We had a king room for two of us. It was huge, a really lovely room with flat screen TV, en suite bedroom, extensive storage, central heating and a sofa. We had access to a lovely swimming pool, sauna and jacuzzi and gym. There is also a spa which was closed due to Covid. The food was really good and plenty of it. The staff were really helpful and friendly. Couldn't do enough for you. Covid safety was taken very seriously and the hotel was spotless. There is a small shopping centre 5 mins walk and there are 3 to 4 bus stops within walking distance of the hotel. One star for beautiful old glory and decent breakfast plus one star for location and price. Night 1: people in the room above us took a shower at 11 PM. We got an extra shower in our bathroom outside the shower area. Water running down through the ceiling and the downlights. That is a fire problem, mixing electricity with water. Night 2: we told the front desk, and they said they would try to get us another room. We packed before leaving for the day, and asked to have a room in the back as the road in the front has trams, buses, cars, bars and lots of noisy people. We came back from our walk that day, and got a room in the front. They had moved our stuff, which we appreciated. No hot water in the taps, and we were later asked not to use water at all for thirty minutes as they had problems with the pumps and were about to fix that. The shower head was dangling as it did not fit the holder, so only hand held shower was possible. Night 3: we told them about the shower head (which they must have known about), and asked if we could have a room In the back as it had been so noisy. We got that, but they told us that the room we had had the first night was occupied again so we got another. Occupied with these leakage problems??. This third room had a toilet seat that was fastened only on one side, and additionally was way to small. Also something the cleaners would have seen and was not fixed. One lightbulb was not working. We had this room for two nights. Granted, they might have (ad shortage of satay due to COVID or whatever, but normal maintenance like fastening a toilet seat, replacing a lightbulb and shower head, can’t be that difficult to sit and not very work consuming.

We stayed for several nights while visiting Dublin/Ireland. The hotel is well located, just a few minutes walk from McConnell Street and about 10-15 minutes from the Liffey. Taxi ride to/from the airport take under 1/2 an hour (about €20). The rooms are of a reasonable size, and clean. There isn’t a huge amount of storage space but this is not unexpected. The breakfast is extensive, but you need to reserve the table in advance the previous day as per the hotel’s instructions - this was a good idea as there was never a queue for the buffet. The restaurant is also very good. We did not drink at that bar but it seemed to be very popular. The staff members were uniformly helpful - I had a small problem with the sink in my bathroom and it was fixed very quickly. Reception staff were helpful with all issues including booking taxis etc - particular thanks to Bruno! For guided bus tours, the bus stop is a 2 minute walk away, literally round the corner from the entrance. Overall a very positive experience.

Stayed here on night of 11th April 2022. I am writing this at 5;55am because I am wide awake. God knows what but there has been a constant, horrible, dull, terrible thudding/thumping sound for the past couple of hours. Imagine a trance nightclub beat over and again. Then it stops for 10 seconds and starts again. I can’t be sure it’s not coming from another room but I would imagine if it was then the management would have intervened. I note that there is a huge building project opposite the hotel about 50 yards down so maybe the thudding is some sort of seriously heavy machinery pummelling away. Whatever this thudding is it is seriously annoying and it is impossible to sleep. I’m on floor 1 BTW. It is inconceivable that the hotel are not aware of this. Maybe they are aware of it but the thudding is coming from elsewhere and there’s nothing they can do about it?Even so, this Hotel is expensive and those on a budget may be better off booking somewhere else. I have also noticed that this lovely hotel sounds very hollow. The sound of every foot step on the floor, door closed, drawer closed seems to be amplified lots. Can’t fault the clean, lovely room or it’s decor. Can’t fault the staff either who all seem professional etc and whilst I am not 100% complaining about the food last night it was average. Sorry Maldron team, I know you are all working as best you can for guests but at the price I paid for the room I expect more. I wonder if I am the only one to comment on the noise recently. Only time will tell.,.

We stayed here 6 nights. The rooms are good size but don’t expect a view. There is no air conditioning in any of the rooms; however, we didn’t need it in early May. It has several restaurants in walking distance, but it is about a 25 minute walk from the popular Temple Bar area. Taxi rides to most of the areas run about 10-12 Euro. There is a breakfast buffet on the mezzanine level. It is 16 Euro unless it comes with your room. A big shout out to Maria G and Damir. They are both very helpful and go the extra mile to help. There is no concierge, so you have to get all your info plus taxis at the reception desk. There is a Covid testing center about 5 minutes away at the Maldron Hotel on Pearce Hotel. You can book your test online through Rondox before you go to Ireland.

One of our party who will remain nameless (but who has a Ryanair aeroplane named after him- EI-DYC !!!!) booked us up through booking.com, 4 blokes so 2 twin rooms was the plan. But not for the first time with booking.com we ended up with two doubles. And there were no twins left !!! But the lovely Mary at reception appreciated our "plight" and after consultation with her equally lovely colleague transferred us to twin rooms in Hotel7 across the street at no extra cost. Disaster and "MERRY-BEDS" averted !!!! Thank you Mary !!!

Honestly, I loved the place and the people! The whole staff was amazingly helpful and answered whatever stupid questions I had. My only recommendation would be to instead of sell shower gels and transformation plugs for Irland's electricity grid, I would have loved to be able to borrow them on the same price. Its just that you buy a whole bottle of shower gel and then use it twice, it feels like such a waste. Same for the transformation plug - I would never need it after my stay at Irland, so why not return it back to you guys so you can give it to another person even for a charge. I feel that we should think more as a global community in that type of way. Cheers and thank you!

Very nice new hotel with a great location. The night manager, Nathan was very helpful and kind at the bar when we came home at night. We went there 2 couples and we all enjoyed talking to Nathan who gave us great tips on what to see in and around Dublin.

Great stay as always. Booked a triple room as was the only option available. I was a solo traveller this time. Asked if I could have a double room instead but they were none available. Was a bit funny being in a room with 3 single beds. The room was spotless as always. The hotel was very very busy. Lots of groups. But it wasn’t an issue - no noise. Just made reception a bit chaotic at times. To order click and collect food, there was a QR code to use. The link was broken though. Location is 3 minutes walk from the luas tram so ideal.
