We stopped here on the second night of our driving trip from England to Croatia. The hotel is as basic as it gets, the room was ok but without air conditioning it was very stuffy. Our room was the closest to reception so there was a bit of noise but not too much. The breakfast was basic but ok, there was some mouldy fruit in the fruit bowl and one of the boiled eggs was completely raw. I wouldn't stay here again but it fulfilled it's purpose for us.

The adjacent bar and restaurant is not connected to the hotel. The frontdesk has no clue what is going on there. I was rejected to eat/drink due a to private party which the front desk was not aware about. There is a vending machine next to the reception, but it is ruining you. 2,5euro for a 0,25dl sparkling water! Nor was it refilled during my stay and it was almost empty. My room was not well prepared upon my 3 days stay. There was missing cups, glasses and Nespresso capsels. Nor soap in the shower. The beds are okay, but window fronting to the hotel entrance is too noisy. No Aircondition. Rooms are very warm. The room need maintenace, it does not look up to date. My room was not cleaned on the second day. I left the room quite early and put out the note telling the cleaners it was ready for them. Facing the reception to confront this issue, it occured that the reception was not manned and was only available by phone! The breakfast... Is a very simple hotel breakfast. Not worth the money, not even close. Free parking though.

Although Maritim is a major chain in Germany as well as throughout Europe, this is the first time my wife and I stayed in one of their properties. All in all, a great hotel offering some incredible views of the Ulm Minster and the Danube. The check in was very easy with most desk clerks having various language skills. What I didn't like was how much more parking and the breakfast was added on to the stay. Still, I must say that the any breakfast offering champagne says a lot to us as we always enjoy several glasses before hitting the pavement to walk the city. We also closed out our evenings each night enjoying more wine and/or champagne. Next time, perhaps we will dine up here in the restaurant with a panorama view overlooking the Danube and the city. This place had an indoor pool; however, the water was not warm. Perhaps that was intentional to dissuade usage in this COVID environment. As Germany continues to open, I may have to start checking this chain out as we were overall impressed.

The room was well furnished and clean. The location in the middle of Neu-Ulm is optimal, to the Danube river it is about 100m. The reception is friendly. Parking problems I didn't have because my bike found a good place in the bike cellar. But breakfast was not something for me, because as an old man I don't eat so much, so I would go 100 m away next time, compared to the council house there is a cafe with bakery there I find more like my taste. But this is not a reason to take a star off, because it's personal taste. What's a little disturbed me is the fact that I haven't seen anywhere in Corona's times desinfectants.

Hotel does not make anything from outside, but within the rooms develop comfort. Great clean modern rooms. Very friendly reception. Breakfast does not leave any wishes open. Careful and friendly staff. Optimale parking for 10 euros, also with bikes, as from the parking house a lift leads directly to the hotel. No 10 minutes walk to the Münster and further 5 minutes to the fishermen district.

This trip went to several hotels during the trip. Except for the Hilton at the airport, this hotel was the most satisfactory one on this trip. The price is very affordable, the rooms are clean and clean. I heard that it was a new hotel that was renovated last year. I heard from the front desk that there is an old Riku Hotel about 10 minutes’ walk away from this hotel. Like other hotels in Europe, there is no kettle inside. , Slippers, toothpaste, toothbrushes and the like, shampoo and shower gel in a bottle. Other facilities are available, including tables, lamps, hangers, etc. The hangers are not fixed in the cabinet, but can be taken out to hang clothes, which is very nice. Besides the location, next to the ULM Cathedral, the entire town is built around the Cathedral, so I will never be afraid of getting lost, and I can go back to the hotel smoothly if I walk. Downstairs is a well-known restaurant for eating pork knuckles and beer, and there is an Alnature supermarket next to it, which is all convenient. By the way, the front desk of the hotel only works in the afternoon. There is no one in the morning and no one after 10 in the evening. Because the train is delayed, the hotel arrives after 10 o’clock. The key is to call the switchboard and get the key through the KeyBox next to the door. Come out, give a reference to those who are late.

A cheap and good opportunity to stay in Neu-Ulm. In 15-20 minutes is the Ulmer city centre walking distance. The hotel's equipment is moderately spartanian,but it's enough for a short stay. It's also very clean in the rooms. We're always happy to come back. If you arrive with the car, you can enjoy a lot of free parking on the Allgäuer Ring!

This was simply the best stay in a hotel we have ever had. The Staff were exceptional, the rooms were brilliant and the service like we received nowhere else. Our journey was so stressful with a breakdown in Germany, and the Staff at Rioca, could not have been better with understanding and helping us to rest and get on with our journey. One of the finest Hotels I have ever stayed in, because of the Staff. Oh, and the rooms were fabulous too.

This is the third time we have used this hotel as a stop on our way to Italy. We had issues with vehicle on way down so phoned hotel to let them know and key was put into a safe by the door, which was simple to use. We had a family room, which are very spacious and plenty of room for the 4 of us. The first issue was the parking, or lack of it. There seems to be lots of other apartments around the hotel now, all vying for parking space, so either be early or be prepared to park your car on the street and have a walk with your cases etc to the hotel. Maybe a barrier system should be installed so it can be controlled better. The restaurant has changed from the traditional German affair and become an Indian one so limiting the choice for travellers. The breakfast buffet was nowhere near as good as it was before, even though there seemed to be lots to choose from, the quality just didn’t seem the same.
