Initial impressions weren't great as in all fairness Blackburn isn't the prettiest of towns, but once I'd got parked I soon changed my mind. The receptionist was great and I was soon in my large, well-equipped bedroom. The room and the sumptuous bathroom were absolutely spotless, and I had a good night's sleep followed by a tasty breakfast.

Stayed for 3 nights 1-4th April . The staff here are amazing! On check in after a 6 hour car journey they couldn't have done more, restaurant staff excellent as ever. Children given chocolate on arrival and Easy check in. Ran manchester marathon on Sunday and the breakfast the next day was amazing. We will be back again and this isn't our first stay as I have family near by.

Visited for one night on Monday 22/08 perfect welcome - everyone was friendly, attentive and very informative. Also the check out was just as perfect. Room was perfectly clean and very good value! I’d stay again in a heartbeat - the Team were really good ! It’s hard to get good staff but you’ve managed it - congratulations! See you in 4 weeks ! I like this hotel and have stayed here a few times. It is well located near Blackburn just off the M65 at junction 5. The on site pub is nice and there are also numerous places nearby where you can socialise and eat and drink. The room is of a high standard and modern, the bathroom is more than adequate for shaving or doing makeup properly. The room was warm and comfortable even though it was quite cold outside. Check-in is straight forward and handled in the adjoining pub. Once you have checked in your key card gives you access into the hotel accommodation. There is a night porter available when the pub is closed but you won't see staff in the hotel accomodation apart from housekeepers in the morning so it's useful if a little discretion is required.

The stay started with a welcoming smile, and a polite and friendly welcome even though it was just after the new year, and was in the evening. The welcome was warm and helpful and very friendly that put you at ease. Checkin was quick, easy and excellent, just what you need after a 4 hour drive. The room was very clean and relaxing. The bedroom was a little cold on arrival but soon warmed up. The bed was a king size and very relaxing. We took up the meal deal offer (something I’d highly recommend taking) getting to the restaurant was all under cover so kept both warm and dry, especially with the torrential rain we had which was nice and carefully thought through. The good wax excellent, good menu choice, with extremely friendly service, very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was again welcomed with a great smile, and friendly service with a wide range of options and excellent quality food and service. Overall was an excellent stay, friendly staff, excellent service from beginning to end. Will definitely use again and would highly recommend this hotel.
