The hotel location is very good, the transportation is very convenient, it is very convenient to go to the rose garden, the open-air cathedral, the airport and so on. There is Starbucks 711 nearby and the breakfast buffet is $ 25 per person. The front desk of the hotel was nice, and we very enthusiastically recommended us delicious restaurants and attractions. It rained on Saturday, I asked the hotel to borrow two umbrellas. It feels good to have an umbrella on a rainy day haha

This hotel is not a Hilton hotel, but the price is higher than Hilton, and the room has a musty smell, because Ctrip's address navigation directly leads to the Hilton Hotel. It took an hour to find the location in the one-way downtown area. The crash, because under the name of Hilton, it was indeed a routine pit. This is the worst time for Ctrip to be pitted. It is not known whether there are many exposure fines for driving. There is really nothing remarkable about this hotel. Valet parking costs $ 52. Will not choose this hotel again, the lobby is very noisy in the evening and the service attitude is average.

We stayed here for three nights. The design of the hotel is simple and simple like a studio. The room is more spacious and the bed is comfortable. The surrounding environment is also good to the city center. There was some problem with the lighting of the room, and the cabinet placed in the coffee machine was almost invisible. Although there are windows that can't be opened, it wastes natural air and does not meet the environmental protection concept emphasized by the hotel itself. Because it is probably a new hotel, the air circulation is not good, some taste (still acceptable)

The Nines is a luxurious hotel that met and exceeded my expectations. Location: The Nines is located in Central Portland, near Pioneer Courtyard Square, and is a stone's throw away from many excellent restaurants, shopping, and tourist destinations. Room: The room itself is fairly large and luxurious, with a very new renovation. The two queen beds were very large and the bedding was very comfortable. The washroom is large and has everything that is needed. The ceiling height is very high, so it makes the room feel very spacious. Well done and designed. Common Area: Wow! From the entry of the hotel, to the hallways upstairs, it was surely a journey through excellent design! The lobby is in the center of the hotel, on the eighth floor. The lobby is large and is very well designed, with an atrium/courtyard like style. Service: People were attentive and housekeeping did a good job. Concierge was willing to help and had an excellent attitude. Without any doubt, The Nines is surely Portland's best hotel.

I came to visit Portland for the first time, and checked into the Portland marriott downtown waterfront. Check in was smooth and easy. Front staff was great. The room was very nice as well. The next morning I went down stairs to breakfast, and the service wasn't really that great. I was at My table sitting for 10 mins before finally I was greeted. Finally I was ”SERVED” to the tune of, what can I get for you. No introduction, no pleasantries, just right to it. I asked the man if they offered raisin bran for my 5 year old, and he said no....but he said it's in the coffee bar next door if you want it you can go there. Decent response, but my 5 year old daughter started to cry, and the man said, I'll be back when your ready. We felt very under appreciated here and I can't understand how people can act this way when working!! Very unprofessional, and we will not be back. Stay away from the short bald guy slinking around in the restaurant area! >:(

First time visiting Portland and the hotel. The hotel stay was great. Friendly staff and very helpful. Front desk personnel, Kennedy, was awesome. Kennedy helped us with finding public transportation to the hiking trails, Multnomah Falls, cascades & Mt Hood, saved lots of money using the public transportation. Hotel was very clean. The bar at the hotel again was great. Great bartender and made awesome drinks, no joke. Enjoyed my stay. Walking distance to to the Saturday Market and hotel across the street from the river.

Major issues w/third party bookings - availability/ room types vs actual hotel inventory. Our stay was all wonky. Experienced several issues upon check in - which made for an awkward and unsettled hotel stay. We made a reservation on hotels.com (a huge mistake) At check in the front desk staff said the hotel had been oversold, but to not worry -- and to 'hold tight' as they had rooms on standby 'OOO' that still needed to be checked out. This sort of thing (per staff) always happened, because third party bookings don't hold up and next time should we book, to book, or to do so direct... So we waited for this said back up OOO room. and waited... we finally got into a room (we met a valet team member, or guest services team member at the actual room ) a bit after 2am. We were told nothing about any of the hotel offerings available or room specs, what to expect, etc...When i asked about our key (where do we get this?) along with our check out date details, the valet/guest services team member replied with a 'its all been taken care and to stop by the front desk for a key'. So, we picked up our hotel key after 2am and reconfirmed the reservation / check out date. i wanted bed. sleep. i thought, no big deal about not getting more hotel / area info at that point; i knew i'd have time to dive in / explore and get more info the next day, no problem... Calls from the hotel staff / front desk started the next morning; the team member seemed upset / annoyed when we spoke. We found out the front desk staff (who completed our check in) made no note of our reservation issue, or check in issue prior. Apparently we needed to make a new reservation direct through the hotel in order to stay, or would be checked out... because the initial booking had been made through a third party???...hmmmm. Therefore, no changes or updates could be made, even though the front desk had confirmed / offered / completed our check in hours prior...all said offerings made because of the several issues experienced at check in.... my head is still spinning. feeling unwelcome. don't want to stay here again. I called this third party for more clarity after speaking with the front desk - apparently, all can be done by the hotel - so it's actually up to the hotel to make the call, or honor any changes, or refunds , etc.

We needed to stay close to PDX for a very early flight and this hotel was perfect. Great value, seemed new, shuttle to the airport (sign up in advance), great bed and friendly staff. Room and bath were extremely clean and very spacious. Walking distance to Target, a few restaurants, the rail stop. Many Covid restrictions still in place, the pool was closed. Overall great visit.

My husband and adult son had two rooms for 3 nights. Usually we stay at Holiday Inn Express or Best Western hotels. We stayed here as it was closer to family activities. I had requested a top floor as I am a light sleeper. Did not get that. My son was on a different floor but we all agreed that the sound proofing in this hotel was the worst we’ve ever experienced. You could hear televisions on all hours on both sides. The noise from the room above and halls could be heard even with earplugs. The place is very poorly staffed with nobody at the front desk about 50% of the time. A sign said to use a phone by the computer to call for staff. This made the place feel much less secure. Did not use the pool but did use the treadmill in the very small exercise room. The equipment was in working order. The “private phone room” door near the front desk was always propped open with several large fans running to keep their computer servers cool enough to function in the inadequate and poorly vented space. There was the same pile of dirty silverware in the vending machine room on our floor for the entire stay. The ice machine was out of order all 3 days as well. The beds were comfortable and my room was clean. However our room was entirely missed by housekeeping one day. The explanation was that there was new staff on duty. For the price this place was not worth it! Especially since there is no breakfast included like you find at Best Western or Holiday Inn Express. There was supposed to be coffee in the lobby but the carafes were empty when I checked. It feels like this building was poorly constructed and is running on low staff.

The hotel is supposed to be ”non-smoking,” and they even warn that a $250 charge will be placed, if the rule is broken. However, the room next to mine, on the 4th floor, river side, had guests who smoked day and night. i wasn't able to enjoy the balcony, because their tabacco and ********* smoke drifted over to my side (even with their door closed, but worse when they had it opened.). This really made my throat sore to breathe in. When I talked to the front desk persons, once in person during the day, and once on the phone in the evening, they said they would ”deal with it,' but they did not, as those guests remained in that room, and kept smoking. And if that wasn't bad enough, those guests had the TV on loudly until past 2:30 am, making it very difficult to sleep, yet we were in Portland to go to OHSU for my husband's cancer surgery. He got little sleep the night before his surgery, due to these rude and unmonitored guests. The front desk takes a very flippant attitude towards these kinds of infractions, and do not enforce the ”no smoking” policy. When I twice reported the smoking problem, they acted like I was the bad guy here, as if they were annoyed by the fact that i was helping them run the hotel properly, according to their own rules. The physical condition of the hotel is acceptable, to some degree, although the room phones practically don't work, but kept shorting out, when I tried to contact them about the smoking. Also, the 'wake-up call” I requested never was made to us. The best thing about this hotel is its location on the river pathway, making it easy to go for walks, and even walk to OHSU. BUT if you stay there for that single good reason, don't expect the quality of service or the hotel's condition to be up to par. After the first night, I was to stay a second night, because my husband would be kept overnight in the hospital. I only stayed on, instead of seeking a different hotel, because the front dest person assured me that those noisy, smokey guest would be checking out that morning. So I stayed, yet those guests did NOT check out. When I asked the front desk, she said she ”couldn't discuss other guests.” In response to my telling her about the smoke, she said she would ”handle it.” Yet that was the same response I got the day before, and she obviously didn't handle it, as those same guests stayed on annoying neighboring guests again with their smoking. It is really a shame that they care so little about making this a quality experience. There is so much potential, with the great location. But they are blowing it with their lack of enforcing the rules, and their lackluster and unprofessional response to a violation of their own rules.

We usually stay in other holidays ends and it’s a pleasant stay with helpful employees. This one had extremely hard beds noisy rooms from neighbors next-door and traffic was constant. When we checked in we didn’t get any directions on dining hours pool or gym. Found out the pool and hot tub were closed due to the season. Which seems like false advertising if you look at their website. And I have been on snowy mountains that have their hot tubs open. We were there on a beautiful sunny 70° day and could not undo the locks to our tiny deck overlooking the parking lot. I went down to ask about sitting on the riverfront and no one at the desk could tell me anything other than that the pool area ,where all the seating was , was closed. I walked for over a mile trying to find a bench or chair near the river. Finally sat on a splintered wooden dock to enjoy the sunshine. To top it all off when we went to leave the doors to the parking lots were locked at 10 AM in the morning. And we had to walk around finding an exit. One positive. Rooms were very clean.

There were some problems with the room that the front desk arranged for check-in... Go downstairs to communicate with the front desk and arrange to change to another adjacent room, which was much better this time. 1. The location of the hotel is slightly away from the shopping mall of Pioneer Square, about 15-20 minutes on foot. 2. The hotel’s breakfast is pure Western style, with real-fire baked freshly made pizza, iron plate of vegetable and egg bread (as shown in the picture), three kinds of juice, three kinds of milk (whole milk-black handle, skim Milk-blue handle, sweet soy milk?-green handle), a variety of fresh fruits, the taste is not bad. Favorite blueberry + plain yogurt. 3. The hotel has its own parking lot with parking service. The charge is quite expensive, 40+ USD per night. The parking space on the road in front of the hotel, once every two hours, costs about four dollars. Take a few more steps and pass two intersections. There is a world food supermarket. There is a small parking lot opposite. You can stay overnight. There is a discount for parking on Friday nights. It costs 8 dollars a night. Change! Tell the important things three times, don't ask how I know...remember to remember! You can also renew during the day, which is very convenient.

I really feel that this hotel is not worthy of the ”Sheraton” brand! Let’s talk about it. I went to the airport and waited for the free shutter of his home for a full half hour. I didn’t expect Portland to be so cold at night, the clothes were worn less, and the dog was frozen! Then the car came, the driver did not get off the luggage, the whole master, so I also decisively did not tip! When I arrived at the front desk of the hotel, I checked in and unfortunately met a girl suspected of racism. When I saw that we were Chinese, I immediately stretched my face a lot and went to the room in a bad mood. I gave the most remote room on the first floor. I walked far away and said that I opened the curtains and saw only one wall! Oh, really depressed! I think about ten o'clock in the evening, I am too lazy to change the room again, ready to wash and sleep, and found that the sewer is not working! It’s really a slap in the face, and I’m going to call the front desk for repairs. Fortunately, this time the repairman came faster, and finally took a shower before 11:00! Is this like the Sheraton Hotel? I really doubt that I lived in the fake Sheraton! Also, another disadvantage of living on the first floor is that the restaurant fume on the first floor of the hotel is filled directly into the room, but there is no exhaust fan in the bathroom! So accompanied by the smell of soot, we spent a night unhappy! I really don't recommend this hotel!

The good: only 1 mile from Adventist Health hospital where husband having surgery. Easy access from I-205 and to and from hospital. Included was an average to good hot breakfast in a well cleaned, pleasant area. Our room was first floor, non-smoking (supposedly). Comfortable bed. The bad: I reserved a Mobility Accessible King (non-smoking) room. It was the most distant room from the reservation desk, which is where the only entrance is. It would make more sense to put the Mobility Accessible room less distant than other rooms. The hallway, which was a long walk, had multiple areas where the flooring was uneven. Furthermore, for a non-smoking area the halfway down the long corridors the halls began to smell strongly of smoke. In the room, the shower in the bathroom had no ledge or recess of any kind to hold a bar of soap or shampoo in or even outside near the shower. The only option was to hold the soap throughout the shower or drop it on floor outside of shower. Really??? And the hot tub was empty and therefore not open, the exercise room appeared to be closed. The ugly: The room had NO handrail next to the toilet. Unacceptable for a mobility accessible room. Similarly, the only non-desk chair was an upholstered chair, with a low seat and NO arms. Again, not a wise choice for a mobility accessible room. The room, although it is called non-smoking, reeked of cigarette smoke which the hotel seemed to try to mask with some type of scent or spray. The smoke smell seemed to become worse while the A/C ran, but was unbelievably strong regardless. There was no carpeting in the room from which the smell could be emanating, and only 1 upholstered chair. It was terrible. Even the service was poor. When I returned after 9pm from the hospital, I discovered the cleaners had removed my dirty towels, but not replaced them. I call the front desk. It took 3 tries to get an answer, requested replacement towels and was told I had to walk back to reception to get them, no one could bring them to me. I was very surprised and disappointed. I have stayed with Ramada in the past and have never had such a bad stay.

The breakfast is very good, and the list is ready to be eaten every day. The room is large, the kitchen utensils are complete, it is convenient to buy some green vegetables to get back (not too much fumes, the ventilation is not good, the fire alarm is big). Convenient to travel, there is a light rail station at the entrance of the hotel, just a car can sit down town for more than 3 stops. But from downtown back to the hotel it is recommended to take 35 buses because the direction of the light rail is easily confused. To the airport, you can take a minibus, $14, and make an appointment with the front desk. The 50-meter line is the Willamette River, and the riverside running is also good. The front desk was super nice, very welcoming and helpful. Hot drinks such as hot tea and hot chocolate are available free of charge in the lobby throughout the day. A 15-minute walk in the university area has a deer Ding Ji Chinese food, which tastes good. Approximately 25 minutes along the river, there is a LeCHON Western restaurant, which is also very good, but pay attention to business hours.
