This place deserves -10 stars! It is now called Rodeway Inn. It should be called Red Light Rooms. I barely got a wink of sleep all night thanks to the moaning and headboard banging until after 4 am, and the load yelling and door slamming a few rooms down the hall. I asked for a downstairs nonmoking room but the front desk clerk/owner denied having that request. She offered me a smoking room downstairs if I didn't want to do the stairs. That room reeked so badly that this senior lady with bad knees chose to drag my heavy suitcase up the stairs. Oh, and the stair tread edgers were falling apart and repaired with duct tape, as was the nearly empty juice machine! The ceiling panels right inside the door are just hanging. One of the lamps was inoperable. There was a dead bug on the floor by the headboard. The only good thing about this place is the beds and bathroom seemed clean and the water pressure is good. I wouldn't stay here again if they paid me to. It's one of the top 3 worst hotels I've ever stayed in. Don't be lured by the low room price. You want to stay far, far away from this place unless you want to join the line of johns at the next room.

Upon arrival we discovered per a sign at the front desk the pool was closed for repairs. It being summer in GA and having 3 kids to entertain, we were dissappointed we couldn't take a refreshing swim to cool off during our downtime. The front desk did call another Hampton Inn 10 minutes down the road to make arrangements for us to use their pool. We never made it there due to bad weather, etc. Also our room smelled musty, there were areas where the carpet was falling apart (a reoccuring them throughout the hotel) and our room door kept sticking. You really had to give it a good push or pull to get it to open. Carpets and floors visibly dirty. On a good note, the beds were comfortable and the a/c worked well. We also liked (and took advantage of) the full sized refrigerator in our room. There's a Publix across the street.

We were only at this hotel 1 day and had multiple issues with a male member of housekeeping. At 9:00 am the hallway was completely blocked by housekeeping carts. Next the same staff member was in the hallway speaking loudly and playing music. The worst encounter with the same staff member was when he our door and proceeded to barge into our room at 12:07 PM. I had arranged a late checkout with the front desk staff, there was a do not disturb sign on our door and my wife and I were trying to take a nap before a long drive home. I would have given the hotel a 2.5 star rating if that was an option. The room was nice, it was clean and the front desk staff were professional. Another issue was two times in our short stay there was someone smoking week by the front door. Not a great place to bring kids.

We stayed here for five nights earlier this month. Nice room on a convenient location with extremely friendly and helpful reception staff. Breakfast was bedlam with food left lying on the floor under some tables (messy people). Items were not being replenished, it seemed as though any member of staff re-stocked items when passing. However our main concern was lack of security along with non compliance of rules. Despite being told our room was in a row of pet free rooms a cat was staying in the room next to us. One of us is allergic to animals and we felt extremely lucky we hadn't been given this room (room 120). Around the swimming pool area men were smoking and drinking beer. On the upper level above the pool men were also smoking. They set up a BBQ everyday on the landing with a chair from the room being used while cooking. It all made things uncomfortable for genuine pool users. A lot of noise went on outside our door in the early hours of the morning including screaming and crying. Nobody from the hotel sorted this and there was no way we were going to intervene. We feel the hotel needs to take more control on these issues. We would not stay here again.

Stayed here for a week in Sept. 2019 as my husband was having surgery at Emory Orthopedic and Spine Center. All accommodations were spot on. Everyone there was helpful and caring. They went the extra mile to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast each morning. Our room was comfortable and clean. Given the need, I would definitely stay here again. Keep up the good work! It makes a difference.

I have stayed at many IHG hotels, including Holiday Inn. I have stayed at new, old, and renovated properties and have had positive experiences. I stay at Northlake hotels when I am visiting family. I choose this hotel because I am familiar with the brand, and it offered the lowest rate by about $20. I felt like I found a great deal. From the outside, the hotel is a standard, pleasant hotel, although the palm trees out front were kind of suspicious for Atlanta. Lobby looks okay. But after check-in, things got worse. One was not allowed to use the rear entrance to the building; thus, one must walk to the side or front entrance. Elevator looks poorly maintained; hallways were dark with harsh fluorescent lighting and had that really strong ”old building” smell. There was also the smell of pot (and I don't have a problem with it, but I do when I'm in a hotel). As for the room, it had that old smell, the hutch for hanging clothes look well-worn and scratched up. The couch was well-worn. The remote didn't have the battery cover. There was hair in the sink. In the morning, the water didn't drain out of the bathtub while showering. That was the last straw for me. I checked out two days early. I understand those are a lot of negatives but let me stress some things. First, the bed was new and very comfortable. Second, the staff, from the receptionist to the maintenance crew, were *very nice* and *accommodating*. Any request I made was met, and everyone was genuinely proud and happy to be working there. I just wish the hotel physically was as pleasant as the staff. And even though the hotel has been renovated, more needs to be done. As for now, this hotel should not be flagged a Holiday Inn.

As a loyal Marriott customer I was terribly disappointed in the Courtyard by Marriott Atlanta Northlake. When I pulled up I noticed there was construction and remodeling taking place, that's great. I checked in, the young lady at the desk was nice, provided me with a bottle of water and efficient service. I got to my room and did the ”room sweep” so to speak. The room was rundown but no big deal. When I checked the patio door, I noticed it did not lock and the toilet didn't flush. I asked for a new room and was given one. That one wreaked of stale cigarette smoke, the refrigerator had seen better days, and the heater was loud. Looking around the hotel, the hallways are battered, there was a door missing it's door handle/lock like someone broke in and the overall appearance was rundown. Additionally, no housekeeping services were done and I stayed two nights. Sorry everyone COVID is over, you can return to cleaning the rooms daily. The only reason I'm giving this two stars is the front-desk person at check-in and the nice lady at the cafe who I chatted with when getting coffee. If you're a Marriott loyalist and in the ATL, look elsewhere.

Master's Inn at Tucker was very clean with modern decor and plenty of space. The location was close to my venue, as well as restaurants and attractions. The staff was professional and friendly, and eager to please. When staying in this part of Atlanta, I will definitely stay at this property again!
