Just came back from my last stay at Dhonveli and it only gets better with time. This resort is the surfing paradise. The staff takes care of you everyday as if you were like their friends. Great tips out and inside the water from Darah and Nanno and the other surf guides. The service is 5 stars everywhere in the hotel and I would make 2 special notes. The moment you arrive you get an aluminium bottle, which instantly makes you feel good with the environment, in my case, very different feeling after coming from another surf resort that keeps wasting plastic bottles as if we were still in the 60's, The other note is the food. Other hotels can have better waves but the food at Pasta Point is amazing. And I will make special mention to the chef Amila. He is the best cook. Always with a big smile and the best ideas to make amazing lunch and dinners. He made even my worse surfing day amazing haha. Thanks Amila. I will definitely come back there soon.
The hotel is located on the island of Kuda Huraa and is the only hotel on the island. The environment is natural. This stay is a sunset water bungalow with a great view and a wide view. Opening the door is the blue sea, and there are often fish that swim around the ladders of the sea. This time, the luck was particularly good. I saw big turtles, sharks and squids in the sea on the edge of the room pool. When you are not in high tide, you must feel the charm of the sea from the ladder behind the room. The sea is very shallow. (When there is no high tide), you can't get your knees, so people who can't swim are not afraid. The hotel room is small, but there are things. The bathroom equipment is great, especially the faucet in the bath is particularly comfortable. The room is cleaned twice a day according to the standards of the four seasons, but if you don’t give a tip in the morning, you will not give you fruit. You have to call yourself. The hotel has a Chinese speaking service staff. Everyone speaks English. The Indian accent is not very heavy and can be understood basically. Service attitude is great, to meet your various needs as much as possible. Breakfast is included, Asian buffet, porridge and cooked noodles, tastes good. The disadvantage is that there are fewer choices and the dining area is not particularly spacious. Reservations for lunch and dinner, 100 US dollars per person, good view, less menu selection, expensive price, taste is only moderate, it is recommended to choose Italian restaurant, the best view, and taste better than Asian restaurants. Korean style pots in Asian restaurants don’t have to be special, not really authentic, really hard to eat... There is an hour difference between the time on the island and Male, and the phone will not adjust automatically. Pay attention to it! ! Otherwise you will miss the event and breakfast time. The hotel has a lot of activities every day, it has to be paid separately, but it is worth it. This time I participated in sunrise fishing and novice diving. Sunrise fishing is $95, and there is no private boat or professional fishing tackle at this price. The main purpose of this activity is not fishing (for a total of two hours, the round-trip flight is more than one hour), mainly to feel the sea, this price is quite high, it is worth going. This time, catch a fish, the staff will record and ask how you want to eat, then the hotel will be delivered to your table at lunch or dinner, and there is no processing fee. Novice diving is also very fun, suitable for people who don't want to spend 4 or 5 days to take the PADI diving certificate to experience diving. This is not a snorkeling, it is a real diving, the deepest can dive to 12 meters. Along the way, you will see a lot of fish, a variety of coral fish, and a strange underwater landscape. One of the novice dives is $225. All taxes on the island are subject to a 12% tax and service charge, except for gift shop purchases. Tips: The whole Maldives can use US dollars. You don't have to queue up at the airport to change local currency. However, the local banknotes are very special and very beautiful. You can exchange them with the hotel for collection. Charging does not require a conversion plug, and the room also has a USB charging port, which is very convenient. If there are people with seasickness symptoms to pay attention to, the airport back and forth to the hotel and to participate in various activities are to take the boat, especially the airport to the hotel half-hour voyage, especially sway, this should pay attention. If you want to go to Male for a walk, you can book a local guide with the hotel the day before check out. For free, you can take a thorough tour of Male. I have to say that the four seasons are really old five stars, the service environment is nothing to say! A very good stay, I will choose the seasons next time.

I want to experience life on a residential island so I chose to stay in this hotel for two nights.
Advantages of this hotel:
1. The bed is comfortable
2. Larger bathroom
3. There are many options for water projects provided by third parties, and the price is moderate
4. There is a nice beach, the room is very close to the beach
5. The hotel’s spa is good and worth a try. The Indonesian aroma therapist is very good and the price is reasonable ($99 twice)
6. The hotel service staff are honest and willing to help, they are all very nice
1. Huraa Island, where the hotel is located, has poor infrastructure, and the sandy and muddy road has not been repaired
2. The owner of the hotel doesn't look very friendly, maybe because he thinks Chinese guests can't speak English? Anyway I feel uncomfortable
3. The hotel's email response speed is very slow, and the information in the response is also wrong. Fortunately, nothing went wrong. We chose to go to Male’ to take the Legion Ferry to the island
4. As described by some European and American guests on Booking.com, the food provided by this hotel is really out of standard, at most the standard of our domestic three-star hotels, and the selection of ingredients is not fresh enough and has no characteristics. Of course, I can understand the cost of transporting ingredients to the island. The choice of other local restaurants on the island is also very limited.
In short, if the budget is sufficient, it is recommended to add some money to Wuxingdao, after all, they have already come to the Maldives.

Don't mention how much regret it has, and spent too much money! I booked through the agency, I took the children myself. After I went there, I didn’t need an extra bed. The children would have to add 46 dollars a day. The Chinese dinner should be taken care of. For every meal, add 25 dollars, which adds 96 dollars a day. The bar has to pay for it. I searched for all-inclusive, this hotel under the all-inclusive package. After I went there, I said that there is no all-inclusive statement through the agency! The agent pit is dead.
We booked a beach house + breakfast buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner, 3 people, children over 11 years old; free bed; 50,000 room rate including 15500 RMB; three people on the island fee 1800 yuan; breakfast Drinks and drinks; lunch and dinner are only water, drinks and drinks can be consumed separately, Coke 5 dollars a cup, beer 6 dollars a cup; the island has tennis, billiards, badminton, beach volleyball, gym is free, and water kayaking, It is also free; it can bring its own snorkeling gear; it can be rented on site, 5 US dollars at a time; the island can be fed with devil fish and sharks at 7:00 every night, you can touch the devil fish; the sand room in the 290 area is the most comfortable... quiet; There is a bar on the island every night. There is also a small swimming pool... there is no seafood in the buffet, you can order from the island seafood restaurant...

Not sure about the rest of the reviews that have high praises for this property but I had the worst stay there to be utterly honest. I had actually read reviews about this property and there are good and there are bad. Due to the cheap room rates I decided to base on the good reviews and gave it a try. Book for 6 nights, upon arrival (they were late to pick us up at the jetty) was taken immediately to another property and was told we are to stay 2 nights there (due to their overbooking). To my surprise was told that this is common, they have 14 rooms but had 18 rooms booking by their staff Shaun. Then it struck me that there was another review that said their initial stay was also at another property too. The mistakes I made maybe was to complain why I have to stay in another property when I have already made my bookings and also did not gave Mr Shaun tips ? Mr Shaun told me that I shouldn’t stress him as he is only 23 yrs old when I asked why I have to stay in another property when I had already made a booking for his ? From here onwards things got worse with Mr Shaun, he gave me hostile looks as though I am making trouble for him and during my 4th-6th nights stay there in his property I have to face a bad attitude/black face Mr Shaun. I actually felt unsafe during my stay there and was thinking of changing property for my stay and forfeit my room rates. For the 3rd night I was told our room was still not available so we had to continue to stay on the other property, but was promised 3rd floor which is the top floor with sea view when we move over. 4th-6th nights was given a 2nd floor room with a view of someone else’s roof top, poor WiFi, broken toilet window, no hooks to hang towels in the toilet ( no dry/wet area), no curtain in room ( room is bright at 6.30am), a thin sheet of linen as blanket, no make up of room. I had to borrow a broom to sweep the room floor myself. At 9.47pm I still can hear loud music the staff was playing downstairs. The breakfast area had a dozen of flies and you have to free 1 hand to “fan” away the flies. This property is not near the bikini beach , public beach or popular eating area. On top of all these, I had to face a bad attitude Mr Shaun. I think that was his name who manage the place and had really made my stay there awful and felt unsafe. I made the booking through Agoda and it was not easy to cancel my stay and change to another property. As it’s only 3 remaining nights there so I decided stay put and also stay out of Mr Shaun’s way. I had a “strong“ feelings that things got worse when I did not gave him tips upon my arrival and my complaint of my room’s availability. Why should I give tips in the first place when I felt that the service level was not satisfactory? Although it was a cheap accommodation but I think with a little extra you could get a better place to stay. Or you better be prepared to give some tips even if you find their service is not good. I actually wrote my review in Agoda b
The water house is really good, the room facilities and services are top-notch. There is a piece of glass on the floor inside the room to see the sea below. Each water house has a small pool of infinity, perfect for taking pictures. The sea is also very clear, there are many coral reefs, and there are many fish. You can see a lot from the room, and the snorkeling equipment hotel is free. The beach here seems to be very good, but it is a pity that I only stayed for one night and didn't go. There are two restaurants on the island, one Japanese restaurant needs an appointment, the other western restaurant does not need to make an appointment, and the production is not bad, but it is relatively simple, basically a main course of 20-30 dollars. Reservations are available as early as possible, and other meals can be ordered at the restaurant. Breakfast must be praised, the butler can be sent to the room, sitting on the terrace looking at the beautiful sea, leisurely to eat. There are many stars in the evening, very beautiful. Overall, an island with good value for money, not far from Male, the airport transportation fee of 130 dollars a room is slightly more expensive. The island is relatively small. After walking for 15 minutes, it is recommended to play for 2-3 days. It is boring to live again. The island is beautiful.
First of all, I want to say that this is my fifth trip to Madai, and I went to the brand of Banyan Tree. Let me first say the advantages: service and good! I prepared a birthday cake for the child, and re-arranged the room for the child by turning the night bed. Based on the good service, I will give a daily tip of 2-4 US dollars. The diving instructor is good.
Key Tucao: Meals and poor. At the beginning, the all-inclusive price for three nights and four days from December 19 to 22 (from the first day of dinner to the last day of lunch, Ctrip settled more than 32,000) was very small, Breakfast hotel reception list writes drinks and drinks (who got up early to drink and eat breakfast), saw lunch and dinner twice like sea prawns, no drinks, no drinks, only served white water, this one is still set meal is not buffet, Personally I feel that the traffic is not enough to open the buffet. Sometimes lunch and dinner are given a set menu, dessert main course salad, just talk about lunch on the last day, two chicken skewers and one fried rice, one does not know what the cold The cold dishes are cucumber and tomatoes with a little olive oil. This is a non-buffet package. I do n’t think this package adds up to more than $ 50, but for this brand of hotel, even buffet is extremely shabby! Since the child wanted to play for one more night, I renewed the room for another night, changed the air ticket, and added the diving test certificate. In addition, I spent a total of $ 3,000 in the room (including the island fee for an adult is $ 185, and the room rate is 1300 US dollar one night renewal) This price has been very good to go to other islands! Not recommended to come to this island!
Facilities are only one restaurant, one bar, no public pool! In short this hotel will not come again!
Sincere gratitude to the host Hamdhaan and all his team who made our holiday in Feb 2022 unforgettable We felt like home! I booked 3 Rooms in Ithaa Beach, however when we arrived the host offered to chose between Ithaa and another his hotel Sigeny View. The second one was located at bikiny beach, we chose this one. So the review is not about a hotel but the service, which I beleive is the same in both hotels. We took full board: it was not big choice of dishes, but very fresh and tasty. The portions are big. My favorites: penne with reef fish, tuna fried rice and chicken curry. Amazing seafood bbq: fish, octopus, lobsters. Guys can arrange romantic dinner at the beach or bbq party. Fruits, fresh juses and icecream are available as well. They adore kids. And even played with my restless toddler so I could have my dinner in peace:) My son became best friends with our waiter mister Kalam. Guys made their best to make us happy. And they really did. Hamdhaan organised snorckling excursions for us with dolphins, sharks and reef fishes. Great experience. Two hours ride with dolphins is 20$ per adult and 15$ per child. 4 hours ride with sharks and dolphins is 40$/20$. 2 kayaks, snorkling masks and fins are available in the hotel for free The island itself is very good for family holidays. 40min ride from Male (speed board is 25$ per person one way). There is a nice beaches where you can find shallow water for kids and dip water to sweem and free dive. There is an instagramy sand bank and reach home reef for snorkling. We saw muray, baby sharks, stingrays, lobsters there. Big sharks and sting rays come to marina every evening to feed. Once we saw dophins and a tutrtle near the shore. Even if you don't go for excursions you'll see a lot of animals at the island. There is a manta cleaning spot near the iseland, but manta season is from Jun to Sep. We found a badminton playground and played with locals (they have a net, otherwise take your own net with you). And there is a good kids playground. Both located near the pupblic beach. There are two dive centers. We went to Manta divers: 80$ for intro dive and 55$ for those who have PADI license. Good service, we recommend them. SUP serf - 20$ per hour. The owner, whose name is Chai, gave my 5 years old son a free lesson on SUP, while I was riding mine. Not for tips or make me come again it was a sincere expression of love to kids. Locals are very friendly and always try to help. The hospitality ob the island is one of my biggest impressions of the holiday. If you want to feel the vibes of Maldives then defenetly come to this place and pass a warm hello from me to mister Hamdhaan!
As soon as I landed I knew I would have a great holiday. From the welcoming airport team, super-friendly waiters and waitresses, our gorgeous over-water villa, pristine beaches, crystal clear waters.. everything was just spectacular. The food experience was also enjoyable. Loved the salad section and the live station, and the Eid buffet dinnner that offered lots of local flavors and bites.. It would have been nicer if there was entertainment though.. Beru bar provided us with the best sunset views and the relaxing spot to enjoy every night. I also had a nice chat with Rayat (not sure if that’s spelled correctly) who explained how the hotel endeavors to showcase the Maldives culture through working closely with the locals. So fortunate to see the paintings created by the artist in the resort who had a mini exhibit and could not resist to buy a piece as there’s so much beauty in his artworks. I’d recommend the Standard Maldives to anyone who wants to have a truly relaxing, memorable, and meaningful vacation. We would love to be back soon. Thank you for the great hospitality.
I have just return from the Hard Rock Maldives on 1st May 2022 after a 2 year wait to get there! WELL what can I say it is outstanding the overwater pool villa was amazing clear views blue sea views! The rooms are spacious and if you are going the water pool villas are a must do its an experience in itself! The food was amazing the burger from the pool bar is amazing but all the restaurant's we tried we was never disappointed. We did the all inclusive and found this was defiantly worth doing as all prices have the extra 22% taxes on. I love the free flipflops they give you and they have beach bags in the room which is brilliant (I had to purchase one!! & if you do want one go early in the holiday as these sell out all the time) The Hard Rock Cafe is brilliant the live bands are fantastic always a really good vibe! A big shout out to the fantastic waiters who always on the ball with ordering especially- Tyas, Su, JL, TY & Shahil!!!! Well the band DEVIATE we loved them followed them around wherever they were playing as they are fantastic!!!!! Ordering buggies if you order them 25/30 minutes before you need them and they will be there on time. The only thing I was not impressed with at the hotel was I paid the supplement for All Inclusive for 7 days and on the final day they cut it off at 12pm which I found awful I have never had this before especially when I paid for 7 full days not 6 and a half!!!!!
We so wanted to give this hotel a 5* rating, as had been really looking forward to it based on the amazing reviews on TA. However…… we’re hovering between 3 and 4* having experienced the reality. Firstly - the positives, and they are many! The island is beautiful - as expected with soft white sand and beautiful azure seas. Lots of vegetation giving shade (although more humid as the wind doesn’t penetrate so much). Lots of interesting little areas in the trees - can imagine kids having a great time looking for the island chickens in the undergrowth! Our villa was amazing - and a huge thanks to the resort for upgrading us to a water villa from our original booking. Having once tried it, it will be water villas all the way for us in the future. Amazing breeze to keep me cool, and could spend hours watching for the many varieties of marine life (dolphins, fish, rays, sharks, turtles etc) despite neither of us being swimmers/snorkellers. The service in the villa was excellent - everything kept beautifully clean, mini-bar topped up promptly and they adjusted the contents to suit our preference a little more. Nice environmentally friendly touches too (a big thing for the hotel, which was great to see). The food is mostly excellent - the couple of items which didn’t land well probably more to do with personal taste than anything. Good selection at breakfast - no buffet, which we really preferred! Loved the breakfast ‘shooters’ - a healthy little shot of juice and spices. We ate lunch at Andiamo most days - again a good selection, plus tasty new paninis. Evenings were split across Kakuni and the Ocean Grill. As I don’t like fish (I know…. In the Maldives too!), the selections were slightly less and esp. at the grill, I did go back to the same item multiple times. Cooking and presentation all good. Good selection of wine too. Yummy deserts, including cake of the day in Kakuni. On the not-so-good side….. it really comes down to the standard of service offered. Don’t get me wrong, the staff are lovely. So friendly and wanting to do the right thing. But we couldn’t really see that anyone was ‘in charge’ in the restaurants, and many staff didn’t seem too experienced. We felt that everyone was responsible for doing everything, which sometimes meant that nothing was the outcome. A couple of breakfasts we waited a loooong time for someone to take the order, needing me to eventually go and ask a waiter to take our order. Also most days saw a waiter turn up at random tables with a breakfast order which wasn’t theirs. It appeared that something as basic as table-numbering was not in place? We did speak with one of the (?)managers late in our holiday (only junior staff seemed to wear name badges routinely - those who seemed to be resort management didn’t?). They had just introduced a hostess who would check that reservations had been made, and direct the staff a bit more (sadly, our villa host hadn’t actually booked our table that evening
We searched Google for months for a resort in the Maldives and finally found Hurawalhi’s website. We were drawn to it because it was adults only, the all inclusive option, the size of the island (large enough to have multiple dining and excursions options and small enough to feel intimate), the well known ProDivers dive shop, and the reviews about how good the food was and how nice the house reef was. Everything was amazing and exceeded our expectations. The overwater villa was a dream. One complaint I saw about other resorts is that it is a far walk from villas to dining and other amenities. We did not find this to be a problem at Hurawalhi at all. We loved the walk, but you can call your host for a buggy ride whenever you need and they will be there right away. But overall the proximity of everything was perfect for us to walk and we really enjoyed walking the island. The resort grounds were beautiful and we enjoyed waking around the island and smelling the flowers as we walked through. The resort pool was beautiful and never overcrowded. It was an infinity pool and an amazing photo op. The service was exceptional and we felt like family. The food was wonderful and we loved that we went with the all inclusive option because we didn’t have to worry about the price of anything. Even though we aren’t big drinkers the all inclusive was well worth it. We enjoyed every meal, the selection of what was available and the quality was outstanding. The drink menus were very diverse and the drinks were delicious. The house reef snorkeling was fantastic and the diving on nearby reefs was excellent. The coral is beautiful and the abundance of fish was overwhelming. We consistently saw sharks, Eagle rays, turtles and were even lucky enough to have an octopus say hi! Diving at pro divers was a great experience and the staff went above and beyond to make the diving enjoyable and relaxing. The dive shop was very clean and had quality rental equipment. We felt very comfortable using them. Mosti was an excellent guide and we were so happy to have such an experienced guide with us. Thank you! Thank you to Lalith for always checking in on us. He was always so friendly and we loved seeing him at mealtimes. Also thank you to Saam and Harry, who took care of us the most here. They had great service and wonderful personalities. Thank you to Dilan at JFK and Coco Bar. He was always on top of making sure we had drinks and food when we needed. He was another friendly face who made us feel like family. Ali, our island host, is exceptional. He has the perfect personality for a host. He took the time to get to know us and our interests and made sure we didn’t miss out on anything we would enjoy. We are very into snorkeling and diving and Ali made sure we knew what to look for and where to find it (sharks, Eagle rays, dolphins) and when to snorkel different parts of the island due to tides and currents. Ali always checked on us during our meals and made sure we had our
Breakfast is very rich and healthy, both Chinese and Western style, the staff on the island is very friendly, fishing on the sea is very fun, I caught three big fish maggots twice, see dolphin maggots, you can add extra beds and water, remember to tip the service yuan, once per person One dollar or more, you will be emotional when you enjoy the service.
Still wishing we were there from our 2nd visit to this beautiful island. My husband and I travelled here for 2 weeks looking for rest, relaxation and good food, and again this is what we received, with a few little issues along the way. Travel: We travelled from the UK, so a long journey which wasn't helped by a problem with the speed boat to the Island so had a long wait at the domestic airport until new arrangements could be made. We were allowed to sit in the lounge area and was offered free refreshments. Check in: We eventually arrived at Reethi to be greeted by cold refreshing towels and cold tea. After a swift check in we were then shown to our water villa Number 206 to be greeted by a fruit platter and decorations to the bed to welcome us back, which was a lovely surprise. Room: The rooms are now looking a little dated and could really do with some TLC, but saying this the room was very comfortable and had all the amenities that we needed, Tea and coffee in the room, in the bathroom shampoo, shower gel, body lotion and soap are provided. There is a small hairdryer, but ladies its not very good at all, so if you need a hairdryer I would bring your own to use, We also had a very large pot of hand gel and new face masks and at least 2 bottles of water were delivered every day. There is a fridge, TV, safe and kettle in the room too. The doors open out on to the lovely decking area with steps down in to the water. On the decking area there are 2 loungers with cushions, these are looking a little worn out now and really could do with being replaced and there are 2 chairs with a small table and parasol as well. The steps down to the water did have a handrail but only on one side so you do need to be careful when going up or down the stairs as they can be a little slippy. Each room has air conditioning and also a ceiling fan. Travelling from the UK we did not need to worry about adapters as the plugs are the same. The main issue with this villa was the floor in the main room which was very uneven and could be a tripping hazard. Snorkelling: Well all I can say is WOW, the water and sea life is amazing, and yes the water is the colour that you imagine it to be, we were not very far from the edge of the reef at all so were easily able to swim to it with no issues and then to see turtles, sharks, fishes, a couple of rays just to name a few. Its simply stunning. Food: There are a variety of restaurants and it depends on what board you are staying on to which are included in your package but you can use all restaurants and pay with a 15% discount. The buffet restaurant is great, even the most fussiest of eaters would be able to find something here, hubby is a vegetarian and never had an issue, big shout out to our waiter Faloo, who always had our table ready and kept us topped up with tea and coffee. Each evening meal in the buffet is themed and this is advertised outside on a board each day so you know what to expect. Our favourite plac
My wife and I had the incredible privilege of staying at the beautiful Raffles Meradhoo for just under a week for our honeymoon in May of 2022. We traveled from Seoul, Korea and transferred at Dubai, finally taking a domestic flight from Male lasting about 55 minutes. Although the reviews are overwhelmingly positive (rightfully so), I wanted to start off by addressing some of the more salty "concerns" that I've read in recent reviews of others' trips: 1. If you are unaware of the final domestic flight from Male to Meradhoo in a smaller plane, that is not the fault of the resort, it is from your lack of researching your trip. Though I personally have a fear of flying in smaller planes, to attribute the local flight scheduling and weather conditions to Raffles would be ridiculous and more telling of your lack of preparation going into the resort. There are over 1200 islands in the Maldives spanning 35,000 square miles, please plan and prepare ahead accordingly. My best advice would be to double-check the domestic flight schedule beforehand (10:30am-ish, 1:30pm-ish, 4:25pm, etc) regarding the approximate available flights from Male. It would be great to plan your transfers around these times for the most time-efficient experience. 2. Things at hotels/resorts are going to be pricier. I thought this was simply a known axiom of the universe, but let's remember the basics of economics: if you want to experience the tranquility and beauty of a completely untouched, isolated resort and ecosystem, supplying both the staff and customers requires a great amount of work. Just receiving supplies, food products, rotations of staff and PCR results requires an elaborate network of people FLYING in and out of the island, thus the premiums should be expected. Also, name me one 4/5 star hotel that is inland or in a large metropolis that doesn't charge 12 bucks for a minibar soda... That said, I still think the prices for alcohol and snacks were still on the reasonable side for an ultra-luxurious 5-star resort. 3. Despite the dreamily mystical and spiritual nature of the Raffles resort ambience, the staff are NOT weather shamans or demigods. Weather systems in the middle of the ocean are particularly unpredictable. We can all try to put our big boy pants on and see the silver lining in each unexpected turn of meteorological events. Our trip's forecast predicted that we would experience storms all week; we were instead graciously greeted with several days of clear, warm, sun-soaked, technicolor skies and sunsets. Our most romantic day was probably swimming and snorkeling in the warm, Maldivian rain under a billowy fabric of silvery clouds. Also remember, a clear, sunny day does not necessarily = calm tides. The winds affect that. Off to the experience itself: Service: The staff here are unwaveringly devoted to being accommodating and pleasant, all day and night. My wife and I had the pleasure of having SALYM as our dedicated butler. Salym was absolutely incredib
The hotel is not far from Male’, and the speedboat is about 40 minutes. We have four big four packs of speedboats to the hotel, a speedboat of $200, and a good speedboat. Go to the hotel terminal and think that the staff members are moving our luggage, we will leave, who knows not. Then we went back to carry the luggage to the lobby, and others said that someone would help me move. The staff then took the cart and moved to the lobby. Checking in is a bit of a hassle, and I have to fill out the form one by one. Someone can speak Chinese and it is quite good to communicate. The room is very big. I know that we have two beds and two rooms. We have already added a bed. It is 25 dollars per child, including bed and three meals a day. Counting Christmas, we have more than 1300 extra beds for three meals a night. It's quite cost-effective. The three meals are still rich, can eat, and there are three or four kinds of fruits. They are passion fruit, cantaloupe, red pomegranate, guava, etc. Anyway, I think it is better than I imagined. After all, the Maldives needs to be sent outside. In the afternoon, the bar arrived at pizza and burgers, etc., and waited for more than an hour. I found that cooking in the Maldives was not slow. I didn’t dare to eat there. It was convenient to have three meals a day, but there was no water. Water needs to be paid separately, which is much more expensive than domestic ones. Later, when we were eating, we took the water we sent every day to the restaurant for dinner. I am still very satisfied with the restaurant. The room is large but quite old, but the price is not expensive, and it is not required to be so much. We have more than forty room numbers, which are far away, and far from the beach. I don’t know if our room is cheaper. Relatively far. The bed in the room is still relatively large, 1.5 meters in two, and the extra bed is about 1.2. There is a balcony with a shelf to dry clothes. The balcony is a beach, but the swimming here is not good, so in addition to drying clothes. Did not go out, a little afraid, but also afraid that small animals come in from the glass door, you must bring your own slippers, toothbrush, toothpaste, beach towels can be used. Going to the seaside swing there are a lot of corals and fish, but remember to wear jellyfish shoes. When someone just went to the water, they were blown by corals. They need to be sent to the hospital in Mafu Island, and then they went to the hospital by chartered boat. The boat fee is 50 dollars. . There is a hotel staff to take with you. So jellyfish shoes are very important. A lot of fish out on the swing position is black, but the nose is thorny, the child goes to catch it, then go to school and go to the lobby to dress up. The swing position is a lagoon, where there are a lot of fish, and then the fish in the swing is smaller. If you dive, you will have a lot of fish, white and transparent. We have been playing with the fish for a long time on the swing. I am very happy, and there are small sharks here and there are Hawaiian fish, which is a long-named Hawaiian local fish, but it is also here. But close to the lagoon, we had a black oversized sea otter at the foot of the snorkeling, scared us to death, and then dared not go out. On other beaches, there are also sea snakes and squids that are white with dots. At night, there are bats, small sharks, sea urchins, and other fish that cannot be named at the end of the pier. At night, we will finish the meal and enjoy the fish at the pier. Dinner is starting at 7:30, a bit late. In general, this hotel is still very worthwhile, after all, the price is not expensive, then the sea is very short, to the child's knee and thigh position, many corals and many fish, the beach is also good, many beach chairs, we are sleeping, other time is Playing at the beach, very happy, children are more happy. If you did not participate in the offshore project, you would go to the resident island to participate again. It’s enough to stay in Biar, just staying at the beach for two nights. After all, we have been playing for two days. The first day is dinner, and the last day includes breakfast lunch. Child ten years old
We did not have the chance to stay here while in Maafushi as we already booked our two nights in a different accommodation. Nevertheless, we visited their terrace which is in a great spot just at the front beach from where you can enjoy a beautiful sunset sipping a coffee. The staff is really friendly and welcoming! Will be there tomorrow again ;) Highly recommend this part of the island (at the opposite end of Bikini Beach), where you will get the taste of the real local lifestyle instead of being surrounded by hordes of tourists. Thanks for today's coffee!
We spent two wonderful weeks with our two children ( 9 mo / 3,9 yrs) at Vakkaru. The arrival via direct flight via Frankfurt and further by seaplane was super uncomplicated and we were warmly welcomed on the island. Then we met our villa attendent Guty. A local who immediately captivated us with his friendly, attentive and calm manner. Every staff member knew our family and the children were always and everywhere greeted by name. This created a great atmosphere and the children had confidence. Guty gave us a small impression of the resort and then we went to our new home for a while. Our Deluxe Beach Pool Villa No.108 was absolutely perfect for us. Lots of space, a great pool, lots of shady spots in our own garden and an open view of the sea. Even from the terrace. Our beach area was super private and absolutely nothing disturbed the view of the colors of the Indian Ocean. The baby monitor reached all the way to the beach chairs, which was just wonderful ;-) Otherwise the day was filled with building sandcastles, snorkeling in the offshore reef & diving exercises with the little one in the pool. In the morning a great breakfast buffet awaited us on the beach, at noon we ordered a fruit plate to the villa & in the evening we went out to eat in one of the 4 restaurants. The food was always incredibly delicious and each restaurant had a different theme. Guty just made everything possible and we savored everything to the fullest. Spa treatments from another world, a movie night on the beach of our villa, a private boat trip to see dolphins and turtles, first tennis experiences, pool and cocktail parties, fire shows at dinner and the most wonderful sunsets at Vakku. The kids' club deserves a special mention. Every day a great program and also the parents are welcome, should the children not want to stay alone. Due to the warmth of the people at Vakkaru, the little ones quickly gain confidence. Our son even took part in the pirate boat tour around the island, followed by a treasure hunt. Simply great. Children are also taken into consideration everywhere else. Also for my baby girl there was daily fresh puree with vegetables, almond milk for the oatmeal and also for my son there was plenty of choice. If you like, you go in contact and quickly get to know many other families, but equally you can also withdraw and enjoy the solitude on the beach. I would say everyone gets their money's worth at this beautiful resort. Whether as a couple, family or among friends. Danke & Thank you to the entire Vakkaru team!!! And the most important last: Dear Guty, thank you for your incredibly great support. You made our trip very special. We will definitely come back again! THANK YOU! Ein wundervoller Urlaub, den wir nie vergessen werden.
We spent at Ayada exceptional 9 nights from the end of March to the beginning of April 22. First of all, thank you to all the Ayada team. The best service ever. From our housekeeper SIDATH, buttler Otabek, the team at Zero Degree with my"bodyguard" Afu, Arnell, ALi. The bar team with Kris, Beril, Shahin. Tendai at Ile de Joie, Sofiko welcoming every day at Magu and Diaz serving us everyday, the team at the airports, and on the boat. Kris thank you for special tea, AFU thank you for your care and service. The management team: Creig manager of rooms, food and drink manager ( I am soryy I can not remember the name), Jean resort manager to Simon General Manager we could meet them every day and had a chat. Also, other people who kept the resort clean and well maintained. We had beach villa with pool 228. We like to walk on the beach so we walked every day from our villa to main pool at Zero Degree where we had usually lunch. Twice we had lunch at Ocean Breeze. At both restaurants food was exceptional. We were on Cristal AI and I recomend it. Food was very good, Hakan the omelette master -thank you all the chiefs and cooks for superb food. We had always dinner at Magu, The only thing we missed : the dolphins on our Lucky Dolphins trip. We were unlucky. But we will return for seeing them. The checking was simple and done at Male airport thus after arriving at the Ayada Resort we had introductory island tour with our Super Butler Otabek after it we were taken to our villa. Mr Otabek took care of us every day from disembarkment from the boat to departure. He serviced us very quickly and he was very polite. Using Whatsapp is very brilliant idea. the same for bicycles. The villa was spacious and very clean and bottle of prosecco was waiting for us. Linnen was changed every day. The Resort and villa are incredibly clean and well maintained. We had floating breakfast and it was amazing. Five or Six times we went to Ile de Jlie for wine and cheeses and watching sunset. Superb service fromTendai at the bar. Entertainment: Fire dance show. You must see!!!!! We saw it 3 times. Thank you Ayada team for oure unforgettable and wonderful holidays. We will return!!!!!!
It is a hotel with 3+ Star facilities, they delivered everything they talked about in their website - nothing more, nothing less. Comfortable stay, on the beach. They did charge $5 for a lost key card. They are operating in a very competitive environment, so, I guess it is acceptable. They a small shop attached selling water, snacks and supplies, which was very convenient. Additional information for tourists like me. 1. We bought a $35 Tourist Sim from the airport, it was quick and easy. However, it was not really useful as everything is well organized for the tourists in and around Maafushi. So, you get the Sim if you want it, you may not need it. Wifi worked well, even on the beach, good for app based calls. 2. I was confused between choosing Arena, Triton and Kaani - hope this helps people who are in the same state. Arena and Kaani are adjacent properties, both have two buildings each on the south tip of the island, right on the 'Bikini Beach'. Both have good sea view rooms. However, if you choose Arena and Kaani Palm Beach, you get to choose the rooms with a view to the south of the island which is probably little better. You can choose based on your budget; location and services wise they are equally good, I guess. We chose Kaani Grand, got a 3rd floor sea view room, which was good, facing West, so, good view of the sunset. Triton has couple of properties as well, one of them is on the east side, good sunrise view, but it is not right on the "public beach", there is a street in between, not much traffic, though. 3. I read all the reviews regarding clothing, I noticed people wearing all kinds of clothing even at the airport, locals included. So, should not be too concerned I guess. 4. Food: We are vegetarian, options are minimal, if you are the kind who is too choosy about food, you may be uncomfortable, but will not starve. It is slightly pricy compared to India; not so bad. We spent an average of about $25 for a family of four per meal. There is a Pizza place called Hot Bite, pretty decent food, would recommend that. 5. Excursions and water sports: There are several operators, my suggestion is, do not pre-book. Go there and shop around for a good deal. Local people suggested going to Arena or iComm they are the big operators. We went with Arena because of a good sales guy and a better deal we got, they were also well organized and well equipped with boats, gear and paraphernalia. Paid $100 for parasailing for two people, $25 per person for snorkeling (fishes and turtles), $45 per person for snorkeling with nurse sharks, stingray feeding and dolphin watching. These are standard packages, I am sure you will figure it out. Will post a separate review on this. 6. Currency: We pretty much spent US$. However, there is a 10 to 15% benefit by converting to Rufiya locally (not at a bank). We got 1.65 Rufiyas per US$. Overall Maafushi is a good island for budget friendly family travel, not fancy as a private island but surely
I am setting the standard room, very close to the sea. The rooms are generally outdated, and the 3 star facilities are definitely not formaldehyde! I have never put clothes in the cabinet before, and this time I have been safe for 7 days! Let me talk about my experience. After booking the hotel, I must let Ctrip contact the pick-up problem immediately. Because the Maldives and we have 3 hours difference, the work efficiency is low, and it takes 3 days for a pick-up problem to be fixed. And from the airport to the bandos can only get bandos themselves, there is no second choice. It’s about 15 minutes from Male’ airport to bandos, still very close. The room provided 2 bottles of water a day, 2 people were enough. At that time, I was afraid that the water was not enough to drink. I brought 2 bottles of water from Beijing, which was useless! It is best to have 2 meals for dining, and 3 meals are best! Because eating on the island is expensive, my child and I ate a pizza and a pasta plus a 22% tax and service fee for a total of $46. No cash on the island, all the accounts are posted to the room. When you leave the store, you can check out cash and can swipe your card. In Malé also use the dollar. Before leaving the island, you must set the time for departure from the hotel in advance. Life jackets can be rented free of charge on the island at the diving centre. The Maldives wave in July was relatively large, with more rain and more transparency than the peak season. The coral is basically dead, but the island staff said that the coral is very fragile and is currently in a dormant period, and it will take 100 years to wake up. The city centre of Male is small, things are not cheap, motorcycles are basic means of transportation, making you feel dangerous. You can go and feel the local environment.
We have been back to Plumeria after 3 years and will do it again one day. We traveled and stayed also on other islands in Maldives and Thinadhoo and Plumeria is the winner by a mile! The hotel consists of three different buildings with it's pros and cons and it was not built in the same time so you can see some differences between (distance to beach, the wear and tear on the older part, etc) with the newest part being the best obviously. The staff is VERY FRIENDLY, can speak OK english so no problem with anything. They are super helpful and you feel in great hands and being on vacation. The island is very clean (in comparison to other ones) and you can do snorkeling every day on a different house reef. Food was nice, they made some changes in the food variety because the core of guests changed from Chinese to European (mainly Russians and Itialians, spoiler - there is no alcohol on the island so the Russians are on a short leash). Breakfast stays in general the same but dinners are always different from day to day and there is a lot to choose from. One dinner was for example a special editions outside with tons of fresh grilled prawns, calamari, tuna and other delicious meals. We spend the time there with our kids (5 and 7yo) and I would recommend this place to families with kids from 2+. You can have your coconut at the restaurant table literally on the beach and play with kids in the water three steps from you. Hotel has its own speed boat so they will adjust the boat departure time to your flight what is also great. Last but not least I read some trashtalk about Azeez, the manager. He is so super customer oriented and passionate about his hotel... I can't understand why they consider him being a jerk. I spoke with many of the waitreses and other staff and they are happy working there (yeah, it is still work..) and didn't complain about it. People have to understand it is different culture and could read some situations different from their perspective.
We were staying at Kaani Palm Beach from 07th to 11 March 2021. Things We Liked:- a. The hotel's location is just perfect; it is right on the beach, and you can see the sea and Bikini beach from your room. b. Another positive point for us was Kasun, the guy who received us at Maafushi, and he made sure that we have everything that we need throughout the trip. He was very humble, very polite, and totally customer-centric. 10/10 for the customer service. c. We loved the hotel's infinity pool. 3. The Full-Day outing with a lot of snorkeling and diving was a lifetime experience. This tour was well guided and managed by Mark - the guide. 4. we went to a floating bar (Kaani doesn’t have any bar), spend the night drinking and dancing. It was fun. Things we disliked:- a. The Real Break tour- provided by Kaani hotels. Not a single thing we liked on this tour. It started early morning; it was very crowded, less snorkeling and more traveling, no photos, the guides and camera guy were very immature, and surely they knew very little about the guide’s job. Overall, it felt like we paid $75 per person for just sitting on a speed boat. A Suggestions for the travelers:- for these daily tours and activities, first check with all the vendors available at Maafushi. Because there are many, who provide similar packages. So do not just book it with the hotel. And ensure your trip has a maximum of 6-9 pax only. While you are on the trip, ask the guide to click good pictures underwater with fishes and turtles. Because those are the memories, you are going to take home with you. An unpopular opinion: the food in the Maldives is not very good. Every day, we tried a different restaurant, but none of them could provide good food. I am an Indian, and for me, the taste of food matters the most and not it's name.
When I came back, I wanted to go there again. First of all, the people here are very friendly. My English is very poor, but there are no obstacles in communication. People will have the patience to understand what you are going to say and there is a trailing beach and a three. The natural large swimming pool within the kilometer is very suitable for the elderly and children to play and the best house here is just the other holiday island. The price of the house is the worst. I have seen the room and I feel very happy about the holiday. I have looked at some of the island rooms. A little bit of the meaning of the domestic four-star hotel standard room does not want the feeling of the Maldives. The most important thing if you come from the resident island without expensive speedboat fees, so the island is very cheap to leave when you contact the previous speedboat. You will experience the vip effect with very little money here. The official island fee is 400. There are free kayaks and scuba diving here, so it’s really beyond my imagination. The drinks here also make me surprised. Red wine 28 dollars more than 30 dollars 40 dollars have a meal, so I will never come back to this island. Suitable for vacation with family
The most beautiful holidays I've had so far. That's how I imagine paradise. Arrival Arriving at Male airport for the first time is an experience, the airport is on an island itself and after leaving the airport all you see is clear blue water. Instead of taxis there are speedboats picking up tourists. Kagi island is about 1h by speedboat away (which is practically the better choice for Kagi, since the distance is small and water planes mean much more logistical effort. If you never flew with a water plane and want to experience it, do it on the way back). When we arrived on the island, we were welcomed by very friendly staff and bongo music which was super nice. Maria made us feel like home from the first minute and showed us everything important before leaving us to explore our own place. Room We booked a pool villa in the sea which was beyond beautiful. The room is big and offers everything you need. Shampoo / conditioner is refilled every day, there is cream and after sun gel, you basically only need sun cream (also available on the island in a shop). The room has its own pool over the ocean and even though I didn't think I would use it, I ended up being in there every evening enjoying the sunset. Same applies for the bathtub, which was in the outside part of the bathroom, I spent some very relaxing evenings in there even when the weather was warm. The only thing to consider, the waves can be loud and crush into the outside of your pool, especially during the night this can be irritating if you have a light sleep. I usually use earplugs, so I didn't bother, but my partner struggled quite a lot. There are other villas with wave breakers in front, can't say if this makes a big difference but I guess so. The downside is the view is not the same with the breakers and for snorkeling it’s harder to get to the nice part of the reef. I would still go for the villas without breakers. Location The island is small but still offers everything you need. The reef is extremely beautiful, just jump in the water with goggles and you see all kinds of fishes, even some small sharks sometimes. As a diver I can say, the reef was more interesting to explore than many dives I had in my life. The Spa is great and offers various treatments. There is also a modern gym and you can participate in the Yoga lessons every other day. I enjoyed the lessons a lot, even as a total beginner. I already miss them, might start doing Yoga myself now. :) There is also a small diving center. The dive guide was basically always available to us, very flexible and cool. We went for 11 dives in total and we were not disappointed. All of them were special and interesting. We didn't have to worry about anything, the boat brought us directly to the spots and picked us up after each dive, the crew was very professional and experienced. Maldives are great for diving, don’t miss the chance! Restaurants Main restaurant and a la carte restaurant. We only booked B&B and wen
We spent a week in heaven for our honeymoon, we enjoyed every moment and got to experience many magical moments on the island! The pros: _ Quick transfert from the airport so from the moment we landed in male airport, we checked in in our room an hour later, a big Plus! _ Laid Back vibe and design of the hotel, amazing vegetation on the island. _ Shuzaan our butler was perfect, his service was spotless! _ Great service overall _ Ocean bungalow was great comfort and really spacious with the best views especially during sunsets, really recommended! _ Good pizza and tasty fish (Tuna and Reef fish) _ Salt restaurant: quality of food, staff, ambiance and view WOW!!! _ Excellent reef for snorkeling with many colorful fishes, sharks, turtles and mantas. _ Very beautiful beaches with crystal clear water around the hotel with many ones where you get the beach only for yourself _ Great dive center with Musto that has been an excellent coach for my first Dive. The cons: _ interior design of the room, a bit outdated but we still really enjoyed it. _ two islands on the horizon from pool area, one sandbank with many cargo ships around it and one further with high rise buildings, they damage the view a bit at first but you get used to it after a few days. _ Low quality bread, pastries, vegetables and fruits at Celsius restaurant _ Multiple times we saw plastic (bottles, small plastics etc..) on the island beaches and in more remote places of the island, the hotel should have 2-3 employees patrolling all the beaches during the day and clean up as much as possible, I am sure they clean once a day in the morning but unfortunately it is not enough.... That should be a priority of the hotel to clean any plastic ASAP for the guest to never notice it. _ High ugly antenna on the island (i think for internet and cable TV) that you can see from some area of the island, kills a bit the magic when you have it in sight. They should hide it more with high trees or make it smaller. _ Massage was average and very expensive. _ Massage complex built in the middle of what would have been by far the most beautiful beach/lagoon on the island. We overall had a wonderful stay and would really recommend the island for honeymooners it is magic! Also we traveled end of April/beginning of May and had some very windy and cloudy days for the last part of our stay, I would recommend to travel between December and April to have the best weather possible (more magic moments when there is no wind and the sea is flat without any sea current)
We visited back in 2018 and the experience was top notch. We tried to visit again in 2020, but COVID set us back so we canceled. We then proceed to "miss" our Qatar flight which cut our stay from 8 days to 7 days. Word to the wish, Qatar at JFK said we were late even though we arrived 1hr and 35mins before departure. Get there 3 hrs ahead people! Our April 2022 visit happened the exact same way as our December 2018 visit, except for the fact that we actually spent an hour at the lounge close to the airport before boarding the seaplane to Rangali Island. Here's a rundown: - You get to the airport and a hotel staff will already be waiting for you out there. - Hotel staff will assist with your luggage then assist with checking you in for the seaplane. - If your seaplane boarding time is fair away (ours was 5PM due to the time of the year) hotel staff will arrange to take you to their lounge where you'll be fed and relaxed until your seaplane. - Come seaplane time, hotel van will drive you off to the seaplane hanger/terminal. - You'll be welcomed by a personal guide upon arrival (last time we had Miwa, this time we had Naeem who was equally as excellent as her) who will then ultimately show you to your villa. You'll be pampered throughout your stay with their kindness and ability to pay attention. You can request a buggy (golf cart) to take you up for breakfast at the Atoll Market every morning or you can wait for the Dunie (i'm pretty sure i spelt that wrong) in the intense heat. There's also another restaurant closer to the water villas were you can have breakfast but they have a limited selection. The Atoll market is a buffet style, pick what you want type of restaurant. Naeem was kind enough to send us links to the hotel activity guide (literally tells you what and when activities are going on) the room service menu, pricing list for activities, island map and a couple other things i forget. Now i don't want to be a killjoy, here are activities i wouldn't bother doing: - The Itaha (spelt that wrong too) - Strong ray of sun shining right through the water will make it annoying if you go there during the wrong time of the day. If you've ever been to an aquarium, then save your money, There's literally no difference. It's not as wonderful as it seems. - Boat tours in general - Dolphin tours, wine tours, this and that tours, you may want to save your money. We went on a Dolphin tour in 2018 and didn't see a single dolphin. Not their fault but you may not see anything. It's hit or miss. The other tours are self explanatory. Who's going to the Maldives, after paying several thousands to get there for the island and deciding to leave the island to go on a "wine tour"? What i would recommend (i still have ALL links to the activities if you need them): Jetski - pick the 60mins ($350 per Jetski) without a guide and enjoy the waters of the indian ocean on your own. You don't have to go to far either. Massage - there are a plethora of massages. We
Like most hotels & resorts around the world, the Westin is now finally looking forward to a larger reopening after the limited guests over the past 2 years, as a result of Covid close downs, and welcoming back guests in larger scale is a much needed option. One unfortunate consequence for the reduced travels, has been that many resorts has had to let they regular staff go and now struggle to bring back the quality staff that is required at 5 star resorts and hotels. Unfortunately the Westin Maldives is also facing these challenges. The staff is helpfull, smiling and welcoming, but they lack experience, training, product knowledge interacting with guests. We spend 4 nights at the resort and unfortunately repeatedly saw examples of the lack of the mentioned experiences from many of the staff. Waiting an hour for a drink with the excuse that the bartender had to confer with a colleague how to make the drink !. Dining at the Japanese restaurant and finding that no staff was able to recommend any sake on the menu, as they simply had no idea about what the various options entailed (rather essential at a Japanese quality restaurant) , and waiting 4 hours for a change of towels with the excuse that our request had been sent to housekeeping who apparently were busy. To complete the experience we ordered quality wines from the winelist, only to experience that 2 were too late to consume (likely not stored properly). This is not a hotel problem: wine can go bad, but when the challenge is explained by the waiter by the hotel really had not sold much wine recently so the inventory was getting old. . . you sense something is wrong in the training of the staff. The Westin is a luxury brand that normally delivers higher levels of service and customer satisfaction: Its a beautiful location, the villas and amenities are high quality, but the inexperienced staff left us with a mediocre Westin experience. Please dont blame the staff. . .the training is not heir responsibility.
This was our first time visiting Maldives, so our expectations were very high. Six Senses didn’t disappoint and turned our honeymoon better than expected. ROOM The overwater villas are amazing and so is the service, including housekeeping and in villa dining - the room was always impeccably clean and everything in the room works perfectly. The outdoor shower is a must and if you have the opportunity, go for the rooms featuring a private pool - you will hardly leave the room.. We stayed in the end of Jetty C and even though more distant from the hotel main facilities, it feels very private with great views! We spotted many fishes, sharks, octopuses and other sea creatures directly from our villa. There is only one thing that could be better: the TV. I know that only a few people (maybe nobody) watch TV in a paradise like this but we had 1 or 2 rainy days and tried to watch a TV show on Netflix with no success. The TV is old school and could be upgraded for a 5-star hotel like this.. FOOD We travel a lot and resort food is usually ok but at Six Senses food is really outstanding. My husband is vegan and had no trouble eating in any of the hotel restaurants. Lots and lots of options. The staff was always prepared and aware of his food restriction before we even order, so a very nice personal touch in our stay. We absolutely loved the food at Leaf. The breakfast is amazing! We could have breakfast everyday in our room with no additional charges but wanted to go to the buffet everyday. Seeing Sha preparing the fun-shaped pancakes and being served by all the friendly and smiley staff early in the morning was pure joy for us. The specials of the day are also a go-to. Free ice cream is also incredible. A very nice excuse to leave the room. SERVICE We were very lucky for having Shihan as our GEM. He is very attentive, polite and answered to many or our requests very quickly! Nothing was much trouble for him. He accommodated all our needs (dining reservations, experiences, special needs, etc.) and made us feel special guests. True Gem. Made our experience even more special. Not only him, but all the staff at the hotel is very friendly and nice. Unfortunately we cannot remind their names, but it was so cool riding our bikes towards breakfast buffet early in the morning passing by so many happy and nice people! EXPERIENCES The private island picnic is amazing and memorable. We will never forget! Pristine beach, nice coral reef and having a whole island just for the two of us was like a dream. Sunset dolphin cruise is very nice too! The coral reef is awesome! OVERALL We loved our experience at Six Senses and look forward to come back. Hopefully by then the hotel will improve the domestic transfer which is a bit exhausting (sea plane transfers with less waiting time would be better), but except for this, our stay was fenomenal and memorable!
The hotel is located on the resident island of the North Male Atoll area, 40 minutes by speed from the airport. The hotel has an airport shuttle service. It needs to be booked in advance, with a speed of 30 US dollars per person and 2 boats per day. This hotel is the largest hotel on the island. For lunch and dinner, you can have a buffet at the hotel for $15 per person. There are not many foods and you can only eat enough. Equivalent to domestic Samsung facilities, rooms are relatively new, fairly clean. The hotel has five floors and the fifth floor is an infinity pool, great! This island is not big, you can walk around for half an hour, and it looks good to see the local residents' houses and life! The hotel is located on the east side, the scenery is very good, the water is very clear, and many leisure facilities such as swing chairs are very holiday feeling. The water is suitable for swimming and diving, you can play with water-skiing, etc. You can also choose to go fishing and island hopping. Compared to other expensive private islands, there are many original residents living on this island. The Chinese only see three or two families, most of them are European tourists. In short, this hotel is quite good value for money, it is worth recommending to friends. Here! We are two big and one young and 8 years old. The two beds are very big. The mattress is not as soft as other hotels. Sleeping at home feels very comfortable!
This hotel on the island of Dracula, similar to a small resort, has excellent room service and is clean every day. The staff is also very enthusiastic! Due to the beauty of Dracula Island, it also adds charm to the hotel! Give our 11-year-old child an extra bed for free, great! Like praise
