Nara Guesthouse is one of the hotels nearest to Nara Park. If you come to the city by JR station, you can walk to the hotel even if you are carrying bags (with rods). We came from a taxi because we had 4 bags, but with slow traffic I realized that I would have come faster and without spending money. The hotel's street is not cars, because it is near a Shotengai (a kind of ”shotengai”, a commercial gallery). I was very surprised when I arrived, the service was nice, the environment was delighted and well decorated, and the cleaning of the shared bathrooms is perfect, breakfast is available in the kitchen and you can serve whenever you want. I also loved the experience of sleeping in a room with tatame, I have only praises in the place, I recommend to everyone.

The hotel is just a little bit south from Nara Kintetsu Station, very close. On the first floor of the hotel is the restaurant. If breakfast is included, you will eat there. It is very hearty. The clerk is very enthusiastic and nice. The single room I booked was not too big, but it was clean and comfortable. The bathroom may be a bit small, but for me, it is quite satisfactory. All in all, I spent 5 very enjoyable nights in Nara

Close to shopping streets and stations, within walking distance to museums and Todaiji Temple. There are supermarkets, convenience stores, drugstores, coffee shops downstairs...it is very convenient for travel and dining. The room size is ideal, the facilities are complete, and the soft and hard furnishings are all online. The only dissatisfaction during my stay: there was no advance notice of the fire drill. I woke up to the alarm in the morning. The first playback was in Japanese, which was completely incomprehensible and very embarrassing. The Indian front desk receptionist upon check-in should remind guests that there will be a fire drill the next morning. Judging from the reactions of other guests, they must have known about this beforehand.

The location is right in the shopping street and also at the Kintetsu exit, it is only 15 minutes to go to the park. The staff is warm and courteous, the hot springs are fine but quiet enough. The hotel is old but tidy, there is no daily necessities except old towels, including a blow dryer in the hot spring area, and there is nothing towels lock. Of course, this price can't be too much, remember this is a hotel. I was impressed by the invincible location and courteous staff, I can't say whether I like it or not.

Very satisfactory! Location is ok ! Very close to local train and bus station but for JR is 15 minutes walk, though the JR has a bus line for it but you still need to pay $220.and have to wait every 20 minutes! the local bus is more convenient! Room is big and comfortable! Would recommend and come back again!

The room guided is the first floor in front of the 1 floor, room 114. The first floor in the long Toyoko Inn. I was worried, but the room guided was a room immediately after entering the lobby like an image. And the picture was the back room of the better, and the sound that came down to the first floor all day was ringing. Also, at night, I heard the voice of the laundry room next door, and in the morning, I heard the voice of the aunt in the dining room and the sound of the tableware. Outside the window is a contract parking lot, so I think if the car comes, you can hear the sound of the car. This is the same price as other rooms! If you are a other hotel, it is a room that should be treated as a cheap room with a notation such as ”translation room” and ”elevator side”. Or it was good to be an employee's nap room. It was the worst room that has been close to 100 nights so far but not calm. Also, it is a hotel without parking lot, so you can only park your car and motorcycle in the contract parking lot. If you are in another Toyoko Inn, you can park your motorcycle at the place next to the entrance, but you can't stop it. Motorcycle and car are good ducks in the suburbs of the parking lot, but it is a location that can be reached 1 km to Nara Park on foot, so Merritt is big there. It's great whether it's right in front of Kintetsu Nara Station. You should never stay in room 114.

I was more interested in a nice hotel with a nice atmosphere in a good location every time I went sightseeing in Nara, so I stayed for the first time. Everywhere is very well maintained and although it is an old hotel, it was very comfortable. The room I booked is a renewed Japanese modern non-smoking twin. After all the air conditioner is new. It was a very hot day, but I was able to spend comfortably in the room. There is also a foot massage machine, so you can heal your tired legs from sightseeing. As for the lighting, I have something to tell the hotel a little. The large communal bath is not a hot spring, but it is well managed, comfortable and relaxing. The lobby has a drink server as a service for guests, which was really helpful in the hot season. I booked with breakfast and dinner, but the taste of Nara was very delicious and I enjoyed Nara sake. The location is close to Kintetsu Nara Station and close to tourist spots, so it is a place where you can return to the hotel and rest as soon as you get tired of sightseeing. Convenience stores, shopping streets and souvenir shops are also nearby, making it the best location. If I have a chance to go to Nara again, I definitely want to stay here. At that time, I would be happy if other rooms were renewed. I'm sure the rooms that have not been renewed are clean, but new equipment such as air conditioning and lighting is a condition for me to spend comfortably. I look forward to it.

Stayed during the shosoin exhibition. I found that I was looking for a private room (because the guest house is impossible) because I only use it to sleep almost on a solo trip. It was a room of 4 tatami mats and half, but there was no problem using it alone, and the joint toilet and toilet were cleaned cleanly. The bath is a hot spring, and it is not timing or batting with other guests, and it is rental every day. It was very good to put your legs in a big bath because I was very tired to walk a lot. I only met at check-in, but the staff also felt good with a smile and stayed with peace of mind. Because it is an old building, the door opening and closing and the voice in the corridor are echoing. I wonder if anyone who cares. It was very convenient to make a tourist base within walking distance from the station and Nara Park.

I had decided two night stay in this hotel because this was so closed to (walk distance) the sightseeing spots: Nara Garden and the Temple. My family car arrived at 10:30pm on 3/1 and the girl staff came outside immediately and welcomed our arrival. She was so helpful for taking off the luggage from the car under cold temperature and nicely arranged our room and asked clearly the style and the time of breakfast we preferred so that the team could arrange in our satisfaction. The most amazing thing is that she was the local Japanese but her English is very fluent! On the other hand, the front desk manager is also very nice and helpful by assisting us to take the luggage to the room proactively. May I here specially thanks to this front desk team for your wonderful service and hospitality. My accommodation plan is superior room with Garden View. The room is so spacious which comfortably fit in 3 of us with luggage. The view of Nara Garden outside of the hotel is really nice! The room design was stylish and decent and most importantly, the room was so new and clean. We have got a set of breakfast with a choice of western style and Japanese style. Overall, the breakfast is greatly enough and delicious. This is my first time experience in this hotel. The hotel is not crowd so I really feel calm and peaceful during my stay which made me feel so relax! I am sure that I will be back this hotel when I am back to Nara!

We decided on this because of the location and being able to spend time on the terrace. It's about an 8 minute walk to Nara National Museum, and if you walk a little further you'll be close to Todaiji Temple. I think it's a good location for walking and sightseeing around the area, and the roads along the way are very atmospheric. The staff were all very friendly and made me feel comfortable. In particular, the female staff member who realized that I didn't properly understand the free drinks at the cafe and explained it to me was very kind. After checking in, I went out to the terrace and sat and enjoyed the view of Sarusawa Pond and Kofukuji Temple in front of me, and it felt very luxurious. There is a Starbucks on the first floor of the building, so it is possible to take the drinks you buy there to the terrace. The hotel room is clean and quiet at night as there are no tourists nearby. The interior was stylish and the room was spacious. When you open the window shoji, you will see a three-storied pagoda right in front of you. However, I woke up at 6am to the sound of the temple bell. Well, that's the real thrill of Nara, isn't it? The public bath is small, but since I was using it on weekdays, I was lucky to be able to use it privately. It was also fun to be able to choose shampoo. Although there is no restaurant that serves breakfast or dinner, we were able to order a breakfast bento box that seemed to be outsourced when making a reservation. This was very delicious and a great choice. There are many delicious restaurants nearby for dinner, so I didn't have any problems. There is also a drink vending machine in the ba*****t, and there is a convenience store nearby, so you won't have to worry if you don't have much luggage. I was satisfied with the perfect service and clean rooms and bedding. There are some things to keep in mind if you are visiting by car. Only the paid parking lot affiliated with the hotel was difficult. On Saturdays and Sundays, there is a zone that becomes a pedestrian paradise, so you can only get there from an extremely narrow road. I had researched this in advance, so I was using a small light car and everything was fine, but I wonder what would have happened if it had been a car with number 3. Next time I visit, I will use another parking lot or take the train.

If there are other options, this homestay is not recommended! Say a few points for reference only: 1. Unprofessional, my bed doesn't even have sheets! Communication can't solve it 2. Check in at 4 pm, before that, his door is not open, don't want to put luggage! Go out and walk on your own back! 3. This is in the village, near the convenience store, there is no meal. 4. Check out time, ask you to check out at 9 o'clock! No delay of half a second 5, towels need to be rented! This old man is like a robot without feelings. 6, advantages: clean, quiet, cheap.

Before I joined my friends in Kyoto I spent a couple of days in Nara and stayed in this guesthouse. It's located on the edge of the old town and just a 5-minute walk from Kintetsu Nara station. The guesthouse is housed in a very traditional Japanese dwelling complex, ie you have to keep quiet if possible, as the walls aren't sound-proof. But I like this coz normally most cheap places to stay are full of noisy backpackers, but this isn't. I stayed in the dorm room, which is neat and clean. When I was there the host was doing experiment in pizza making so I tried a few slices of it, which tasted really good. The kitchen has almost everything so if you want to make your own meals it's possible. Highly recommend this place to anyone on the shoestrings yet looking for a decent place to stay.

The location of the room is really consistent with the online reviews. You can see the deer on the balcony, especially when you walk in the morning and evening, you can get in touch with each other in front of the door. 5 minutes to go out, shopping, eating, parks, temples are all complete. It is worth mentioning that the room service is in place. The only drawback is that the check-out time is before 10 o'clock, and the overtime is 3840 yen/hour.

Welcomed right from the get go even though our room wasn't quite ready! The staff were incredibly kind. Honestly, finding an affordable accommodation in Nara at this good of a location does not come easy, and so if you're traveling on a budget this is an excellent option. Room was very clean, air conditioning worked very well on those hot summer days, we were in the budget room but it was still decently comfortable and spacious for two people. Definitely would recommend.

I go to Nara to take a picture with my hobby, so I use it at that time. It is always 2 nights and 3 days. It is convenient to JR Nara Station. (There is a big supermarket under the guard of the station.) Breakfast is always included, but it is sometimes not eaten because the start is from 6:30. There are not many side dishes in Viking, but there is no complaint so much. Wifi can be used in the room. It is free. The room is small but clean and there is also a bathtub. There is a large bath, so I use it, but if you warm it in a large bathtub, you can also take a 1 day photo and walk tired. It is a little far from Kintetsu Nara Station, so I take the bus, but this is not possible because one station is far away even if the hotel is near either station.

3 I stayed for a night, but the breakfast was very delicious, so it was cheap (2 people in triple room and 3 night 2 million yen). Some problems, so I lower the evaluation a little. I did. The ventilation wind (unstoppable) was very cold, and it was cold when I stopped the air conditioner at night and went to bed (it was noisy without air conditioning). The same thing was said to be a common bathroom in the toilet washroom, and it was cold because it was a mechanism to automatically tighten even if the slide door was opened and warmed. The bath comes out of a large amount of hot water immediately, so that point is very satisfying. Also, it was easy to choose without cleaning the room (towels were supplied) and to leave the luggage.

The bathroom was the smallest I have ever seen and the water pressure in the shower was not very good. However, hot drinks are served in the lobby, which also offers a foot massager, the New York Times and the English version of the Japanese daily. Breakfast is served in a comfortable small basement with reasonable choice of Japanese and Western food. Front desk staff is very helpful. It's not too far from Nara Park and the station, so it's good to walk around, and it's near the lake, so it's good to walk at night. It's an alley, so you can feel the alley of Japan while walking in the morning and during the day, but it's scary at night! If you enter the building password, there are some kinds of iron sticks that can tie your luggage or luggage, and if you enter the room off-duplex, there are bathrooms, washbasins, and toilets in the room. The double-story ladder is a bit scary, but there is no problem. It was so clean and everything was good, but one problem? The point is that the building off-duty sound comes into my room, but I thought I pressed the password to enter my room. The sound is very loud. But I stayed for 2 nights on Thursday and Saturday, but I don't know if the sound of the room in the room is soundproof because all the people who used the building together for 2 nights stayed quiet, but I couldn't hear the sound of people!! I only heard the sound of the building password! Totally revisited doctor 100000%

I can't see the scenery (sorry) The temperature of the room is just right. There is no outlet around the bed. Meals: This is nothing special about it, and the amount is small overall. Overall, it was a poor feeling that was insufficient 々. Bath: I can see the five-storied pagoda, but when I take a bathtub, I can see it from the top and the hole, and I am disappointed that the front fence will be ruined, and I don't know the time because there is no clock in the bathroom. I stayed to take a picture of the scenery of Nara in the morning because I was worried about the atmosphere that the appearance produced before. Two young men who were friendly were at the front and bar space, and it was a very pleasant response. Only meals were provided, and 々 foreigners living in Nara were used as part of Kendo or some training. The bath is a spacious bathroom with a bathtub and 2 places only for showers. After bathing, read while drinking free coffee in a shared space where you can see the garden. I enjoyed the conversation with those who were guided by cycling tours from Australia. I thought I would continue reading after I stayed in the dormitory, but I wanted to drink in a retro bar space, and I was 3 minutes before the end of the service at 22 o'clock, but I was very kind to make a water split. Sleep comfortably. The next morning I checked out without eating, but the gentle response of the male staff was really pleasant and talked about Nara, which was fun again. There is no chance, but it is an inn that I wanted to go to stay again. I think I'll go to eat only.

The bedding is very comfortable, plus the decor color, everything gives travelers a very warm feeling like a family, so it is very popular.

Royal suites of the top floor Mezzonet type are available at low cost depending on the date of stay and plan. It is a room with a year, but there is a clean feeling, there is a TV on the upper and lower floors, there is a cherry blossom bath, and there is a sofa on the upper floor, and I enjoyed the interior room like a mountain hut. The top floor was quiet and comfortable because only one room. The cherry blossom bath is old, so there is black smear, but it is comfortable with the cherry blossom fragrance. Just a little drainage groove water damage. It was such a specification because it flowed without saving at first. The meal was very delicious in the morning and evening. The service of the employee was good and delicious. It was a hotel I wanted to use again.

It is a Japanese homestay, booked a Japanese-style room (the boss is really good as everyone commented), except for the small room, other health and environment are very good. It is very close to Nara Park and is within walking distance. At the same time, it is very close to Nara Subway Station. If you are looking for a good value for money, this hotel is a good choice. recommend!

The conclusion was very good. and there's no amenities in the room. The style of taking it from the receptionist only for the necessary amount. First of all, it's a hotel that is environmentally friendly. It was a good impression. The room is also clean and very beautiful. Organic shampoo and hand washing soap are good. I want to stay again. The location is not complaining at all! I'm glad if it's just a little more close to the town. laughter

When you arrive in touristic Nara, you go up to Kasuga Taisha to continue the path through the woods. And there it is... a hidden gem! Lost in the middle of nature, small cottages linked by a path traced in the forest and outside blend into the forest... It is a unique, sublime, almost unreal place.... The room has large windows overlooking nature. It is the most peacful place we stayed in Japan No wifi, no TV... just you and the nature The private bathroom was a great experience. The food was exceptional! We would like to thank the staff who was really nice and helpful. They made our stay even more magical. We were feeling like home.

A hotel that feels like a business + hot spring hotel, just next to JR Nara Station. The room is clean and quite large, 3 F, but the view from the window was completely elevated by the railway, and I was worried about the sound of the train. The bathroom in the room has only a shower, but there is a large communal bath in a natural hot spring, so I was able to relax. There was no problem with the hot springs and breakfast, and it was as expected. Free bottled water 1 book in the refrigerator, WiFi is also free to connect.
