We had two connected rooms and a private bathroom so it was very spacious, especially considering the price. The room was spotlessly clean. Great location, in a lovely suburb outside of Athens. Within 25mins you can either get into central Athens by using the metro or walk down to the coast. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby. The airport pick up was helpful. The only issues we had were the amount of mosquitos in the garden, although I accept this can't really be helped maybe breakfast shouldn't be served in the garden. The other issue was breakfast, we had prebooked breakfast for all 3 days when we booked the room. We were asked for the first day what time we wanted it and it was delicious and good value for money. We didn't see them for the rest of the day so we assumed it would just be at the same time the next day but breakfast wasn't prepared. It didn't really bother us as we just picked something up from a bakery and we weren't charged for it but a bit of clarity would have been useful. Overall though it was a very pleasant stay and I would happily recommend it.

I traveled with my 3 children and my Mom on a family trip to Greece in June. We booked a family room at this hotel after reading all the reviews online. It was perfect for us. It was for us 5 one of the least expensive options we had. We landed at Athens airport, bought our public transportation pass for 3 days and took the bus 95 which left us a few minutes from the hotel, very short walk with suitcases. Receptionist was very helpful in finding a nice restaurant to eat nearby as it was late already (Italian, great place called piccolo mondo), and we started exploring the next day. Metro is a 15 minute walk, buses right there, not in the middle of the tourist hot spots, but a solid residential neighborhood with police station nearby. Breakfast is good and room was clean, with enough space for the 5 of us. AC was perfect. It is not a boutique hotel, but a small, budget-friendly and very welcoming place. Would definitely stay there again.

We loved staying here because the staff was very friendly, very professional, and truly went above and beyond our expectations. We stayed here for 3 nights and we were disappointed when we realized our schedule would only allow us the opportunity to enjoy the breakfast buffet once. Upon mentioning this to the hotel staff, they were kind enough to offer to pack "to go" breakfast boxes early in the morning to take with us on our day cruise since we had to leave before breakfast time. What a treat!! The lobby and bar area is beautiful, spacious, and comfortable enough to relax with enjoy socializing with friends and family at the end of the day before heading to bed. The only reason we are rating 4 stars instead of 5 is we had difficulty sleeping through the night because the beds were very uncomfortable. The bathrooms were very big, the shower and bathtub was great, the rooms were a great size as well, but the beds were sadly disappointing.

I stayed here on a business trip, but factored in time to see the sights too. It’s about a 35min drive from the airport, I booked a transfer service online and was met in arrivals. Expect to pay around €35-39 for a single trip. Checkin was quick and painless, as was check out. I had a second floor room that was clean, comfortable bed and reasonable sized bathroom. The shower screen isn’t big enough to cover the spray area, so be prepared for a damp floor. Staff were flawless, great service and friendly too. Prices aren’t that expensive and the restaurant has a good menu. Breakfast caters for all, there is the healthy option but I’ll go eggs and bacon every-time. The hotel wasn’t overly busy with it being out of peak time and with the Corona virus clipping travel. The hotel introduced hand sanitisers at the entrance to the lift and dining room to assist with hygiene. Most attractions are within walking distance. 4K to the Acropolis, but public Transport and taxis are readily available. best option is come out the hotel, cross the road and turn left. you are then facing the correct way for the main attractions and taxis won’t take the long way. Next time I’m in town I will stay here.

My sister and I visited Athens for the first time and we were very impressed with the Divani Caravel. We received a COVID friendly reception and were fortunate to be upgraded to an executive room. The hotel was quiet but that was to be expected and the restaurant was closed however 24 hour room service could be arranged if wished. We ate out locally and there were plenty of restaurants to choose from. Highly recommend the rooftop pool and bar having enjoyed Cosmopolitans overlooking the Acropolis and Parthenon at dusk when the sunset was magnificent and were able to see the lights switch on at the Acropolis. Would return again as Divani Caravel was located in a good location. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom spacious with plentiful supplies of toiletries. Thank you for a wonderful stay would have no hesitation in returning.

An excellent small hotel tucked away in Arnis Street, but close to Metro, restaurants, and amenities. The hotel is a bright modern build, and has taken into account all the small though important features lacking in the older hotels: a door that doesn't need to be held open while you are struggling with luggage - a safe that works solely on your room card thereby eschewing the self made number code - plenty of sockets including USB, an ample work desk with office chair, and a small kitchenette with a coffee percolator and other essentials. The hotel does not provide room service, but this presents no problem as there are several good restaurants only a ten minute walk away. Walk down to the Davina Caravel and you will discover a village of delightful restaurants and bars, shaded by ancient and majestic trees, and bounded by a small picturesque park. I warmly congratulate Nikos and the staff of Holiday Suites - their many and well-deserved Hospitality Awards are suitably displayed in the reception area. Long may you continue your excellent service.

We have spend a week in this hotel, in August 2020. Hotel is well located, close to metro station. We had superior room in 5 floor. Room was big enough, very clean. We have got every day 2 botles of water for free and coffe capsules. There is pool on the roof - entry for hotel guest is for free, also guests are getting water for free. Lifeguard is there until 18:00. The view from the roof is amanzing. The Staff been always very nice and helpfull. As we have been in the hotel during current Covid-19 situation, I would like to mention that hotel has safety rules in place. Mask to be used, also staff been wearing masks always. The hotel and whole staff always paid high attention to safety rules. An example - during check in as i had to sign check in documents - there are pen available on the reception desk - once signed i have put the pen back, the receptionis took the pen and put it a side. I need to say, the hotel and whole staff takes the safety rules seriously so we felt safe. Well done to the whole staff and hotel management. I can only recomend to visit this hotel. Price reasonable, great location, amazing pool and nice, helpfull staff.

Neos Kosmos
We had booked 18th September, a double standard room. We got what we booked, a lovely double standard room; not much of a view but decent room amenities. We flew out on the 19th September to Santorini and the kind receptionist kept our luggages. As we were checking out we mentioned we will be back again on the 21st September, but due to arriving back to Athens at 12 midnight we booked the double standard room again however we had booked the Penthouse suite for the 22nd September. We asked if we may get a complimentary upgrade as we already booked penthouse for the next morning. The receptionist said she will make a note and said if it is available then of course they wouldn't mind upgrading. It is now the 21st September (22nd midnight) - we have just landed and have come straight to the hotel. The receptionist was not welcoming at all. We had no pleasant welcoming nor did we get a welcome drink like the way we did on the 18th September. We then asked the receptionist if there was any chance of a complimentary upgrade for the penthouse, he laughed and followed through saying 'of course not, penthouse is very expensive', I replied to that, well we have it booked for tomorrow - I was asking due to ease of transition. The receptionist then went quiet. We then asked if it were available, he said to ask in the morning when we come for breakfast. He then booked us into our room and upon leaving to go to our room he asked if it were someone's birthday, I asked why, he said what the reason is for booking the penthouse, I said because we arrived at 12 midnight and wouldn't be able to use the room to its full potential. He then laughed and said we have saved money and we could now spend it on dinner. This receptionist saw us and thought we were just young adults with no money trying our luck. We judged us from the moment we walked into the hotel. My experience on the 18th is completely different to my experience today. The receptionist also booked me into the possibly worse room in the hotel. We a dirty window view of the back of some building. This room did not even have a functioning TV. I feel like this was done out of spite. I went onto hotel booking websites and saw that the penthouse as well as many other rooms were still available for the following date: 21st - 22nd September. This is further strengthening my argument that the receptionist booked us into the worst room on purpose. The room does not even come with complimentary water, bare in mind all shops are closed in Greece from 12am. We literally went to bed thirsty. DO NOT BOOK this hotel! I will update everyone on my experience tomorrow with the penthouse. But I wouldn't hold my breath

We stayed at the Electra Metropolis for 10 nights. I have to say firstly that the staff were very friendly. The views from breakfast were incredible! I would also recommend the fillet steak at dinner. The most memorable experience for us were the three visits to the spa at the hotel. I have to firstly mention Joanna, who was so friendly and welcoming! But our biggest thanks go to Tatiana, who gave us the best massages ever! Tatiana takes her job very seriously and wants her customers to be happy. I had a muscular issue which she helped with. She really knows her stuff. Tatiana was totally professional and was excellent at her job. Thank you! The other ladies in the spa were also very good. I would highly recommend this hotel. It’s in the perfect location for loads of great restaurants and the key tourist sites!

Psiri / Monastiraki
The location is excellent! Walking distance to Monastiraki, full of options for meals nearby (and also close to the city market) and with a fantastic staff - especially the girl who made my check-in, she could speak Spanish very well and made our communication easier (as a Brazilian, I speak Portuguese, which is close). Rooms are in good size and mine was quite clean, bed was comfortable, ensuring me good sleep quality - not 100% good because there was some reconstructing work on the street so the noise started early, but it was not hostel fault and now it is certainly finished. Only disadvantage was that one of the toilet walls in the shared bathroom was made of thin wood, sometimes hard to close, but I have survived ;-). The atmosphere is something to remember in a positive way, I recommend this place to everyone!

This is a classic seaside hotel, the Poseidon Hotel has a beautiful and clean sea under the road and light rail. Located in the center of Athens (the center of the Acropolis), the taxi to the Acropolis is less than 20 euros, to the Constitution Square 15 euros, you can take the light rail and the bus does not save much money, the key trouble, the ticket is not convenient (English is good Better). To Athens Eph... airport taxi for half an hour, about 35 euros during the day. In the morning, you can stroll around the beach, and there is a bar at the beach opposite the evening. The price is moderate. There are not a few parking spaces on the door! We came in mid-October, less than 1,000 yuan, two 80 cm beds in the room, very clean, no slippers, no toothbrush, no bath, bath solution, kettle, room with balcony. The breakfast was very good, the sweet and dead people didn't pay for the small food. The breakfast was much more on the first day. It was not hungry until two o'clock at noon. The breakfast ended late at night, and they only had dinner after noon. It is also late to eat at night, very casual. I like coffee and there is a very classic way of coffee hot,,, Extra beds need to be booked in advance. It’s okay to bring a little child. A leisure hotel with a high cost performance.
