Strongly recommended, are reluctant to leave. Great location! The room was clean and tidy, the price was affordable, the front desk lady was warm and thoughtful, every staff member was very polite, the only deficiency was that the cleaning aunt knocked on the door softly, and I was scared of heart disease when I took a nap.

The Hotel is widely known for its friendly welcome, simple charm, calm atmosphere and attentive staff. The hotel was built in 1901 in the eclectic Neo-Renaissance style according to the project of Vienna architects Fellner and Helmer. It is considered to be an architectural monument of Lviv. Situated in the very central part of the city, the hotel overlooks the monument of famous polish poet Adam Mickiewicz. It is within walking distance to the Opera House and City Hall square called Market place with its numerous historical buildings and architectural monuments.

Now, before I start this review, let us make one thing clear: This hotel is a gem in its' own right. Just perhaps not the gem they are advertising. I came here as it was advertised to be a 5 star lodging on multiple different booking sites. I did not expect it to be true and I wasn't wrong. It's at a very unsuspecting street corner, no thrills, no fuss. No scenery around. Yet, when you enter you are met with someones unique idea of inner design. Glass staircase leading nowhere, crimson satine sofas, colour combinations that don't mix well, there's so many little things that pollute the visuals. And their love of mirrors! Don't get me started. It's amazing. In it's inverse universe kind of way. The receptionist, a gorgeous young lady, whisked me through the payment and held off on all the details you might want to know. No unnecessary recommendations, not even where your room might be. You can find out on your own. I like discoveries. The rooma have a distinct ageless vibe with them. This, this is where oligarchs and top politicians came to have a nights rest. In the 60's and 70's. I would presume. If it wasn't for the semi-modern phone to call reception, you would believe you are whisked back in time. Now. Don't be fooled by all this luster. You will meet logistical issues. The staircase is dark and room numbers follow somewhat ill logic. Your room has only two outlet plugs. You will have to forego table lamp use if you want to charge your phone or your laptop. The bahtroom is quite large, while showerbooth (when applicable) is on the small side. Breakfast is...well. You love to sleep in, right? Skip it. Visit the hotel restaurant after for some delicious foods. Prices are favoring you. Clean? Yes. Can't complain in cleaning departnent. Hotel is being kept very tidy. All in all - don't come here expecting a European style star system. Ukraine has it's own way of doing things and if you keep an open mind - you'll appreciate quirkiness.

After 2 nights staying at this hotel, we can state without a doubt that it is simply perfect. The building is from the 19th century but the state of conservation, the care with the cleanliness, in the smallest details is impressive. It is located in the historic center of the city, less than 100 meters from the central square. The room is large, very well furnished, and. equipped as any modern 5 star hotel with every comfort. The service is simple making you feel like in your own home. Breakfast is served in the basement in a charming and small restaurant and is hearty and delicious. The value of the daily compared to what it offers is great. Highly recommended.

Originally, we had another hotel booked in Lviv, but for a few reasons decided not to stay there and made a reservation at Ferenc instead. That was one of the best decisions that we’ve made! Ferenc was amazing from the very moment we stepped in. It is in a great location right in the city center and the interior does not disappoint either. But, the most important thing that made us fall in love with this hotel was the staff. The service was more than we could ever ask for, the lady at the reception during the check in was extremely helpful and gave us the warmest welcome. Also a huge thanks to the restaurant staff, they recommended some awesome speak easy cocktail bars ;)

What a fantastic location! Erected on Drukarskaya Street (in the 17th century it was called "Road Behind the Deer"), it is a mere two blocks from Rynok Square and close to the major sights. The only drawback is that our tour bus was unable to drive close enough to drop our group of 20 off, so we each had to pull our luggage along a bumpy sidewalk for two blocks and then carry it up the stairs to enter the hotel. My spouse and I had a lovely corner room (#204) that was very spacious. The decor is in the style of Old European and exudes charm. Large windows overlooked two different cobbled streets. Two twin beds were placed side-by-side to create a Hollywood King with a poster headboard. The bed, along with two bedside tables, a chair, and a console with a large flat screen TV occupied one area of the room. The room continued a good distance from the end of the bed into a long area that offered a desk, chair and a lovely dark wood wardrobe. Two huge windows on this wall looked onto a completely different street lined with cafes. The bath room was off the entryway and featured a walk-in shower, which I always appreciate. And directly across the street is a fabulous French restaurant, Tante Sophie, where we had one the best meals of our entire trip. Our group spent three nights here, and my spouse and I enjoyed every single one them!

I loved staying at Eney Hotel. The staff was so friendly and professional. My hotel room looked just like the pictures and it was very clean. The AC worked perfectly. The water in the bathroom was the cleanest I have seen in Ukraine. The hotel restaurant had some of the best food that I had in Ukraine. Anytime I come to Lviv, I will stay a his hotel.

Hotel 39 is located in the attractive main square of Lviv, we arrived from Kiev by train and although the trams are having new track we was able to get the bus to the Opera House and then walk the remaining 5 - 10 minutes to the hotel. The hotel is located in an old building and to get to it you need to enter the large door (clearly marked with the number) and walk to the rear of the building then you need to go up to the 4th floor. Not ideal if you are elderly or unable to manage the stairs. The stairs and ceiling of the staircase are beautiful and worth looking at even if you are not staying. Rooms are located in the 3rd and 4th floor - we had a very large room at the front of the building. I was expecting a lot of noise (earplugs by the side of the bed) but maybe it was a mid week break we was not disturbed at all. Fridge and water supplied in the room but no safe, although I believe there are safety boxes at reception. The rooms were clean with robes and toiletries. There are 2 options for breakfast you can have vouchers for Bar Mushy a couple of doors down if you want breakfast before 10am - we did this on our first day but this is a seafood restaurant and the majority of the breakfasts had some element of seafood on them. I have a shell fish allergy and the chef did leave the mussels out of the omelette. The other option is a buffet brunch style breakfast which is served in the restaurant downstairs between 10 - 12. This was a selection of traditional Ukrainian dishes, we wasn’t made aware we could also have eggs benedict or the traditional cottage cheese pancake. Very odd though, no tea or coffee is included however a glass of Prosecco is. There is also a steep staircase accessed from the 4th floor to the roof. Not suitable for children or those with vertigo- but fabulous views. Returning home we walked to the university 10 mins away and got the regular trolley bus to the airport. Very easy.

The location is unique, with a big park at the door. Across the park is the old town of Lviv. The breakfast in the hotel is quite large, but it is not suitable for the taste of Chinese people. There is a large church at the top of the 800 road slope, a small square and cafes at the entrance. The hotel provides a computer printer for free, and the boarding pass of Ukraine Airlines is printed one day in advance. It takes a long time to eat. There is no food downstairs. There are a lot of things to eat in the city center, mostly Ukrainian local dishes, cherry taverns, cafes, Italian restaurants, etc. It is easy to find a favorite Turkish restaurant, Thai restaurant. It's near the town hall square. Lviv is not bad, I walked slowly in all three days. Will go to the hotel again. Disadvantages: The restaurant coffee cup is stained.

I heard about Citadel last time I was in Lviv and since then I knew for sure, this is where I am staying the next time. And now I can say, it was a good call! The hotel itself has a unique architecture, well-set rooms, and a nice yard outside.Another thing I have to mention - the rooms are extremely quiet! I couldn't believe how quiet it was. We also checked out restaurant along with the bar and thought they were excellent and reasonably priced. Thank you to our waiter - Ivan :) So in case you can't get a table in one of the popular restaurants downtown, don't even hesitate - go for dinner to Citadel. Another thing that made our stay even more comfortable was outstanding hotel staff. They were friendly, always smiling, and ready to help. Overall amazing experience in Lviv. Thank you so much and we can't wait to come back to Citadel!

The location is great, right on the edge of the historic center and walkable to everywhere yet there is a street outside so a taxi can drop you right in front. Perfect location. Nice old restored building. Nice breakfast room and a nice selection of breakfast options. The room was fine, nothing fancy but had everything I needed. The shower is on the small side but had lots of hot water. There’s an entry area that was perfect for my luggage. Note though the reception is on the second floor and some rooms are on that floor and some are 1 floor higher so you need to be able to carry your luggage. If you want to minimize stairs you could ask for a room in the first floor. The air conditioning is done centrally so not quite cool enough for my taste but it was fine. I loved the location and would happily stay here again

I was quite pleased by the services of the hotel. The environment was great, the room cleaning was impeccable, the breakfast was more than enough and delicious and the service was fast. The staff of the hotel was very polite, although not many people knew how to speak English, very friendly, mostly helpful with everything and covered all my needs and inquiries with no delays. The location of the hotel was ideal as it's really close to the center of Lviv and the view from the restaurant and the terrace was absolutely fantastic. My room was what I wanted since I asked them in advance what I would like it to be thus quiet and with a view to the street.Next time I visit Lviv I shall surely choose Eurohotel again.I would highly recommend the facility to everyone.

I stayed in the hotel for about 10 days in September 2019. Good points: i) Rooms are clean, comfortable and tidy with basic amenities and a very small balcony. ii) Check-in and check-out was smooth iii) Everyone spoke and understood english. So language was not a problem. iv) location of the hotel is extremely good. Walkable distance to all the tourist attractions (within 500 meters to 1 km), yet the location of hotel is away from all the din of the city centre. v) Lot of restaurants nearby the hotel. Not so good points: i) Food options in the restaurant Vapiano was very limited. ii) Breakfast options were quite limited. Very few options for vegetarians. iii) Storage space for clothes inside the room is very limited. It was not adequate for a single person. To summarise I would stay again in this hotel given its fantastic location.

I've stayed at Saint Feder for 5 nights, while attending a conference in Lviv. I have absolutely no complaints, the breakfast is 5+ stars out of five, the reception girls are very helpful, the rooms are clean (but a bit small, while this is no complaints either, considering this is a historical building). We had room cleaning every day, with surprises left in our room from the hotel, like wine or fruits, which was very nice. I would say the main advantages for this hotel are: location close to the center, very kind reception staff and delicious & rich breakfast. Quite pricy though for Ukraine standards, but for what we recienved it was fair! I recommend for business trips, as well as for romantic visits of the town.

so that place we accidentally found on trip adviser , we traveled with a car and our baby boy was already to tired for further travelling, so for a better comfort we directly asked administration to show us a pirate ( VIP) house .So about VIP and what we paid for that offer. On trip adviser it was cheaper for 300 ghr. and administration said that we just got a brand new cottage house and bla bla bla. My husband said that he didn't see the difference between all others there, but doesn't matter really. So slowly i am coming to the part where i got even angry and aggressive on personal there . so after two hours i decide to take a baby and go to eat to the restaurant ( same place there) , first of all , they have a lot of workers there, but no-one was coming to out table , and you might know what it is with a small crying baby '. no-one came after 20 min too, so i went inside to remind about myself , meanwhile waiters were running around me to other tables but no one even paid attention to us . so i went inside one again , and already angry were telling where i am sitting and what i want to order . so never thought that a caesar salad can be such a bad choice , but honestly also not sure about the rest of menu ... as i heard from other clients, their food was also not delicious ... no guys, you really need to see how it was , the salat tasted so disgusting , i just tried it and left the plate . it was worser than buying caesar salad on gasoline stations or somewhere in ghetto of the city... or small shop .really disgusting . for that price... so the waiter was not there , fact ! i always needed to run inside with a small baby( order , paying ) , waiter was not even bringing me the rest , was really a cherry on top, because for that service and food i would never leave any tips ... but i didn't want to continue my evening there and as my boy was naughty needed to run back to our VIP cottage house ))))

Sonata was a clean hotel with very helpful staff. If we asked for the ironing board or extra towels, they arrived at our room within 3 minutes. It was NOT just your average eggs and toast breakfast...we had chicken, fish, potatoes, rice and vegetables to choose from in addition to the typical breakfast items. Also fresh fruit and berries. It was a convenient location close to shopping and restaurants. If you didn't want to venture out there was a 24 hour restaurant on site. I would definitely stay here again. Well done. 😊

Me and my friend stayed in the antihostel Forest last summer. We ordered one sleep-box for two persons. Our train arrived to Lviv at 6 o'clock, we came to antihostel and asked them about our sleep-box. Our room was empty and we left baggage and went for a walk around streets in Lviv. After walk we backed to antihostel and relaxed. We took a shower (bathroom was clean) and sat down in the kitchen with tea and sweets. Administrator in the antihostel were pleasent and kind, we were talking about capital of Ukraine, about tourists in Lviv and about our dream travel. Our room (sleep-box) was small, but very cosy. My friend slept on first floor on the bad and i slept on second floor. We were really impressed by wood walls in our sleep-box. It's look awesome! Also we liked place, where antihostel was situated. It was central square and there are many bars and restaurants near our hostel. We thanks a lot to administration of antihostel Forest for comfort and good service!

Since July 2019 I have visited Lviv five times and always stay at the Leopolis Hotel. The hotel is located in the heart of the old city and the rooms are wonderful...the inner court yard is the perfect place to enjoy a coffee after a day of experiencing Lviv. If you reserve directly with the hotel, the transfer from and back to the airport is covered and the Leopolis cars even have wifi in them. Their rooms are excellent and the housekeeping staff are very attentive to details. There is also a spa and a cigar lounge which topped of my visits and this hotel is my 'home away from home'. The staff are polite and are all service oriented. This hotel was recommended to me by a friend who had travelled to Lviv 4 years ago and he was absolutely correct...it is the best place to stay in when in Lviv. Once COVID-19 has run its course, I shall once again return to Lviv and to the Leopolis Hotel.

Hotel was clean and nice . But one thing made everything so mess. Really mess. There was restaurant in the hotel. I saw from far away location was after reception and lift. But i never been in restaurant. And night before check out reception ask to me pay my restaurant bill. It was funny but i never been in restaurant:) so i said i never been but okey if you say so maybe my friend used and i paid the amount. It wasn’t big amount 300uah something.. then i asked my friend and he said no we never been in restaurant..morning time I went to reception and i asked kindly and explained what happened. And the person said. I can not do anything it was charged on your room number :):) AND THEY DID NOT SHOW ME ANY RECEIPT OR ANY OF MY SIGN ANY PROOF OF EXPENSES NOTHING.. so is it really your way treating people like that. Its just so funny. Amount was silly . I was paying that money nearly every day for tip. Whenever go out. But if the amount will be 100.000 instead of 300uah will you do do same ? And if they sincerely saying expenses is ours they could check the cctv because 24 hours someone always sitting cctv monitor next to reception. But as i said even there was no bill nothing:) anyway hotel was to be honest comfortable, and clean. But this cheap treatment made my feel so bad. And they treat me like i am lying to them. If i am gonna lying why i gonna pay with no question? I do not care that silly amounts money but it was so bad ..
