What an amazing stay we had in this hotel...guy in reception sorry cant remember his name but he was working over valentines weekend during the days,he was absolutely fabulous and so helpful. Every hotel needs someone like him . Rooms was nice and very clean with mini bar in it. Breakfast was 5 star...Had champagne breakfast every morning...Very quiet location about 5 min drive in taxi to old town. There is local bar across the street from hotel.we tried beer and local crisps up there and it was lovely and cheap like £1 for pint of beer.I would recommend downloading Bolt app for taxis really handy and much cheaper then getting taxi from the street . One way journey from hotel to old town cost around £3. And to airport would cost u £10. There is 1 thing I would change is TV chanels...1 night we decided to stay in and watch tv but there was no movie channels or show channels to watch...they do have I think 8 english channels but they all were News. I definitely will book with u again if I'm ever in Prague

I was genuinely surprised by the very big and spacious apartment that had three separate rooms – bedroom, huge living room and a kitchen equipped for all your daily needs, including cooking utensils, oven, fridge, dishwasher, ironing stuff, washing machine, etc. I slept in a generously-sized and very comfortable bed in a spacious bedroom with darkening expensive drapes hanging from the top of the ceiling to the bottom so when I shut them completely, there was absolute dark in the room – really good for sleeping. The bed had 6 various-sized pillows, long blankets and a few extra in the wardrobe – really generous. The living room came with comfortable chairs, table, 2 sofas, easy to use TV set, central heating, and huge windows providing lots of daylight. I could hear no noise from outside when the windows were closed, really neat! Everything, including the bathroom with a toilet, was nice and clean. Both check-in and check-out were easy and quick, the staff was friendly and spoke fluent English.

We decided that a hotel in town would not be for us, so Residence Vysta certainly ticked the boxes location-wise. Across the river from the old town, it was much more peaceful but very close to the tram stop or Nadrazi Holesovice metro station. As it was so cheap to travel on public transport there was no point in antagonising the teenagers by suggesting we walk into town - though it wouldn't have taken long at all. We had a two room apartment so the said teenagers could have their own space (and it would mean we didn't have to see them constantly on their phones) and this worked really well for us. Both rooms in the apartment were air conditioned and the kitchenette area had a fridge so cool drinks were always at the ready. There were also two bathrooms in the apartment so we could quite happily pretend the teens weren't even there. And the all important Wi-Fi worked no problem - no fear of a teen revolt. The apartment was on the 4th floor of the hotel - lovely building with a lift - and was so peaceful that we heard nothing of any traffic. Breakfast was a very comprehensive continental choice; there was something for everyone and we were never struggling for a seat, even at busy times. The staff at reception were superb and thankfully spoke perfect English. Nothing was too much trouble and they were even able to help us print out the tickets for our river cruise. We're planning on coming back to Prague next year and will definitely be checking out Residence Vysta for dates.

Hotel is in Prague 2 so may not be suitable for those who want to be in the centre of the action. The Albertov tram stop is less than 5 minutes walk away. The old town and wenceslas square are both 10 minutes away by tram. Tickets can be bought from the Lidl opposite the hotel. Rooms in the hotel are spacious and the bed is comfortable. As others have stated the hand held shower is a pain but we managed! Breakfast choices are limited but overall ok. There are bars and restaurants in the area which are cheaper and less touristy than those in the centre. Vysehrad which is located behind the hotel is worth a visit giving panoramic views across the city.

My mum and I stayed here for a couple of nights in June and we both really enjoyed it. Compared to some other hotels I have stayed in, with value for money this is one of the good ones. We chose to have the breakfast buffet included in our stay. For most people it may seem basic, however, if you love the continental breakfast there’s enough choice available. The rooms were clean and tidy and also came with a fan, TV, hair dryer and coffee maker. The location was on the outskirts of Prague, so definitely not walking distance to the city centre, however there’s so much choice with trams and buses it only takes around 20 minutes to get to the top sights. For some it may seem too far but I quite liked it being a bit further away from all the hustle and bustle. The tram stop is literally only a 5 minute walk from the hotel. If you like something a little quieter then I would recommend this place!

We visited Prague over the Christmas period and stayed in the Golden Rooms. We chose this hotel because (from booking.com) it looked like it was in a pretty good location (close to old town and the main square) and the rooms looked quirky and different. When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised – the hotel was very modern and had a cute, boutique feel. It was, indeed, situated in the centre of most tourist hot spots and had beautiful views out of the room windows. It is a relatively small hotel and has 5 floors in total (with around 3-4 rooms on each floor). There is only one elevator and you have to walk up one flight of stairs to get to it, and one flight of stairs when you get out (because it is situated on an in between floor). The rooms are smaller than they look online but are very clean and have modern bathrooms (shower only). The rooms come equipped with a wardrobe area, safe, TV (Smart TV with Netflix etc) and 2 x bedside cabinets. The safes aren't exactly "high quality" - they are quite flimsy and look like something from a convenience store. We had a lot of problems with ours (in both rooms) and maintenance had to come and help us with a key card. The beds were comfortable and we managed to get a good night's sleep up until around 6am. The hotel is located down a small side-street so there isn't much noise, but we heard the dustbin cleaners vividly at about 6am and building works started in the hotel around 9am which wasn't ideal but by this time we were already awake. There is a small bar area downstairs in the foyer and they can deliver drinks to your room (if what's in your mini bar isn't to your liking). Tap water is complimentary but you have to pay around €3-4 for bottled water from the mini bar. Overall we was impressed with our visit to the Golden Rooms Prague – we just wish the noise could be kept to a minimum and rooms were a little larger. Instagram: @journeywithuss

Dancing House itself is already fascinating enough as a tourist attraction, living inside is surely another pleasant experience with its perfect location, service and modern design. It’s easy to access and it’s close to supermarket and DM pharmacy. The staff in the reception is so nice and they allow me to store my luggage for free. Last but not least, it’s restaurant on the top floor allows me to see the whole view of city, it’s really a good experience for me to stay here. Will come again for sure and highly recommended to everyone.

The Balbin was an unusual place to stay -- not quite hotel, not quite B and B -- but I grew to love it. First though keep in mind that parking is not available there, so a car is an issue. (It's easier to arrive via transit or taxi, but I had a car and had to deal with it and that's the main reason -- that and no AC -- is why I did not give it five stars. Had I not needed parking I would have given it 100%.) And you won't need a car because the Balbin is located within a stone's throw of Wenceslas Square and public transit, an easy walk. The hotel takes up only part of the building, as other floors still have tenants in flats and apartments and is up on the fourth floor. If you are looking for air conditioning, keep looking, because like many other hotels in Europe it doesn't have it. ON the other hand, our room had a very large roof window that popped open and let the heat vent itself out. We were there after a heat wave had broken and so the air was pleasantly cool and fresh and we had no need of AC or even a fan. The room was fairly spartan but quite clean, and unlike a lot of places we stayed, actually had a full bath and a bathroom large enough to move around in. The beds were comfortable enough. Breakfast is included with your stay and consists of a classic Continental-style meal of cold cuts, different types of bread (excellent rye bread) cheeses, fruits, sweet rolls, and to my unexpected delight -- olives. The dining room is on the next floor down from the rooms, but only does breakfast. The structure, as said before, appears to have been a number of flats and was built in 1887, If I recall correctly, and has wide stairways, high ceilings and a teeny elevator which I rarely used, being somewhat claustrophic. If you're looking for 'new', this isn't for you. But it has its charms. But what really gets this place its high marks is the amount of care and trust and knowledge of Prague that the owner has. The desk is not manned 24/7, but there is a fridge stocked with pop and beer and other things that you can help yourself to so long as you write it down on a chit and pay for it later. Worked a charm. And helpful? I have never in my life stayed at a place where the owner/manager bent over backwards so much to make my stay pleasant. He solved my car-parking problems, told us the best ways to get around, called cabs for us, insisted I take up a breakfast tray to my wife who on the first day was just too tired to come to the dining room, discussed Czech literature with me, places to see, and so many other things. And the woman who worked the kitchen and dining room was as sweet-natured a person as you could want to meet. Tiny staff, but big big hearts. Honestly, you could not ask for nicer people. If history is your thing like it is mine, Balbin is sitting right on the front lines of the Prague Spring uprising in 1968. The owner said there are still tenants in the building who were at the barricades made of burned out and tipped

We have just come back from a 3 night Jet2 city break staying at the "Casa Marcello". We had a wonderful time despite mixed weather. The "Casa Marcello" is packed full of character and is tucked away yet conveniently situated for an easy stroll into Old Town Square. We stayed in Room 206 on the top floor. The room was fine overlooking St Agnes Convent. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The breakfasts were fine with plenty of choice and we had dinner there on two occassions which we were very satisfied with. We paid £472 plus about £38 for personal transfers to and from the airport which took about half an hour. We are in our late sixties/early 70's and managed the steps up to our room on the third floor but for those who may not be so mobile I would suggest asking for a room on a lower floor.

Stayed for 2 nights and 2 days. This place is amazing. Right in the middle of city center (5 minutes walk to the square). Farmers market on same street and right out the gate you are in the middle of all action. Interior is amazing. Specially the design on roof, furniture and feel makes you feel you are in Prague 24/7. Very comfy and open. Breakfast was not too fancy but excellent enough to star the day. We had to checkout at 3:30 AM for the flight and there were tons of options (Local Taxi, Uber and Bolt). All were available right outside the hotel door. Next time we go to Prague, we are staying there again.

Chose this hotel due to the location, easy walk to sights, shops, restaurants and for the value it represented. Reception staff were polite and helpful on arrival and the whole place was very stylish. Room was a good size, very modern and very clean. Bed was comfortable and aircon/heating was quiet providing a great nights sleep. Loved having extras such as robes/slippers in the room. Minor thing would be lack of storage with only one drawer and very small hanging space. Breakfast had good selection on offer, something to suit most people. Staff, although efficient, could speak to guests. No-one spoke to us on any of the 3 days we had breakfast, not even to explain things on the first morning. Also a shame about the lobby bar. No one uses it as is not staffed, just there if you ask at reception I think. Also bright lights and no atmosphere so hardly enticing. However none of these little things would stop me recommending this hotel.

Visited Prague for the first time to celebrate my birthday and chose this hotel as saw great reviews and photos looked amazing and I’m telling you now you won’t get disappointed the rooms are very nice exactly the same as the photos! When you first get in it has a small reception and small lift but don’t be put off as the bedroom and bathroom is amazing and very clean and smells lovely! There’s a minibar which is payable at checkout. The hotel’s location is less than 10 mins walk to the old town square (astronomical clock). There are a couple of bar/pub next to the hotel. We didn’t get the breakfast as we like to chill and not rush but heard it’s very good too but don’t worry as there are plenty of choices nearby too! I also want to thank the reception staffs who gave us cake on my birthday! That was a thoughtful touch! Overall I would very much recommend this hotel for the price, location, cleanliness, friendliness and ambience! And would stay here again on our next visit to Prague! Thank you Eurostars Legends!

We stayed here recently as part of a wedding group with our three little ones. It was a great stay and the hotel was perfect. The decor was beautiful, it was quite dark and gothic but it really suited the space with high ceilings. We had a conjoined room and it was so spacious and a great set up. The bathrooms are finished to such a high standard. It was in a great location for getting out and about to see Prague. Reception were really helpful advising us on how to use the trams and the communication we received before staying was excellent. The rooms were warm but we’d rather that than too cold, after adjusting the heating and opening windows if needed, it was fine. Having read some negative reviews we were hesitant about the breakfast, but again it was plentiful and really tasty-the cooked breakfast items were lovely and again topped up as and when. The kids always had an option of different foods so they loved it. The lift was soooo useful with a double pram to get about. All in all we can’t fault the place or stay and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again if we return to Prague.

Having never been to the Czech Republic we had no idea what to expect. This was our first and only stop in the country, unfortunately, but we loved it. The hotel is clean, well equipped, the staff is helpful and can speak good English (for we who cannot speak Czech) and the rooms are spacious and modern. With the bus service at the front door and trains only a few minutes walk away, and free parking in the grounds there is much less reason to stay closer into central Prague. The restaurant in the hotel is very good and the breakfast provided as part of the quite modest room charge is absolutely brilliant! As with everywhere we’ve been in Europe so far the coffee is the weak spot, but it is drinkable. Someone here as a fetishising with water wheels, but that is really a nice quirk. In the evenings the shell in the courtyard restaurant runs, and there are schematics and drawings of Walter wheels all through the other side of the restaurant where we had breakfast each morning. Great place to stay.

We arrived at the Inos Hotel on December 4, 2018 and left on December 9, 2018. A small and family great situated hotel, Not in the Center of traditional Prague (Not in Prague 1 but yes in Prague 4) Six tram stations away from famous Carl Bridge, the Jewish court with all its beautiful Synagogues, a short walk from the Astronomy Famous Clock of Prague, how can I put it best well situated and fantastic hotel. Big spacious rooms with all amenities needed including a water boiling pot with coffe and tea sachets, a little fridge, all the amenities needed in the shower like shampoo, conditioner and more much more. A nice balcony and good fresh air. The hotel is based only on a bed and breakfast basis and the breakfast is excellent, good coffee and well served, by far not a continental breakfast but a full and well assorted breakfast with different kinds of bread, vegetables, cheese, juice, sausages, cornflakes and much, a lot more. But the diamond of this hotel is without doubt the staff, 24 hours at your service smiling, with good ideas, helpful and willing to help/ I would like to say that Monica in the reception is the crown Jewel, she is always smiling helpful and attentive to every whim we had. The hotel is situated in a quiet surround but it has all what you may need at a short distance, like a good restaurant, a great Pizza, Shwarma shop, a mini market. the post but most important it is close to every kind of transportation you may need or wish to use. The tram system of Prague, one of the best I saw till today and I may say that I visited many places around the world. every minute or two you will have a tram arriving at your station. The hotel price is inside a budget, not to low but not to expensive. One comment I had, if you have a late check out and you wish to stay in the room, they will ask you to pay for a full day, from vast experience around the world, this is not usual, you usually will be asked to pay for 40-60% of the daily cost of the room/ For us this issue did not matter but I would recommend the hotel management to consider a change of policy in this issue. To summarize I will say: Excellent hotel Great Service and staff. Clean and with very spacious rooms. Very good situated. Great breakfast. Air conditioned rooms only in part of the rooms, ask for it if you need, we didn't need it. I recommend this hotel very much with all my heart, I am sure I will go back. Enjoy it if you go!

The breakfast was good, the bed is comfortable, the shower was hot. The room had a nice size and the building has elevator. You need to check-in in the building across the street, where it happens the breakfast as well. The tram station is just in front the hotel, and there are many supermarket and some restaurant across the street. They also exchange money in the reception, which made our life so much easier. The only think that I think would concern someone, is that the shower is a little bit high. Has a stair to go inside, and for some elderly people it might be complicated and dangerous. I had the best time in this hostel. Not only because Prag is nice, but also because the hostel was easy and friendly. I booked it directly at the reception at Sunday evening and I felt really welcomed. We had free dinners that were cooked by the staff members, we went together to bars, played games. The staff guys are great and we felt really connected, since a lot of them are volunteers and I felt like we are being there for the same reason, to gain experience, to get to know people, and to find something out about ourselves. I found not only a good bed but also friends there

It is just 4-5 metro stops away from the center and several trams stop nearby as well. Therefore it is a little removed from the overcrowded center of the city and yet easily reachable which is nice. The room was comfortable and clean. I also liked that when cleaning, they took into account how I like to arrange the pillows when they made my bed. In addition, there is kettle and tea and Nescafe in the room and they replace the amount you drank every day. The breakfast is not fantastic, but it's ok. The only disadvantage was the noise because of the closeness of so many tram stations.

I stayed as a solo traveller for 3 nights in the basement studio. The studio was modern and spotless. The bed was extremely comfortable with top quality bedding. The kitchenette was fully equipped with new kettle and utilities. Top quality towels. The reception is open in the morning and the receptionist was friendly and informative. The location of the apartments are wonderful. I took the number 191 bus from the airport then changed at Vypich to the number 23 or 25 tram which stopped outside. I’d recommend downloading the travel app which is on all bus and tram stops. The passes can be bought daily or a 3 day pass. Take a screenshot and show when asked by the conductor. I was only asked once during my 4 day stay. A few minutes walk from the apartment on the same side towards the centre is a nice patisserie which serves breakfast. Very reasonable and a good menu.

We spent 3 very nice nights at the hotel. The room was spacious and the staff friendly and helpful. We very much enjoyed the indoor pool; the water could have been a bit warmer but it was nonetheless a nice experience. The breakfast was very good and the hotel even took into account that during this weekend there were some concerts at the Arena and extended a bit the hours for the breakfast, which was very thoughtful. It is very easy to get to the city center because the metro station is very close. The restaurant also had very good food for reasonable prices. It was an overall very nice experience, maybe the only minus was that the sheet in the room was a bit stained and it was a bit dusty near the walls, so there is room for improvement. We would have given it a 4.5.

Very friendly staff! Helped us to check in earlier. Reception is located on the other side of the road in Four Trees. (The only recommendation, it would be great if they offered one time use slippers.)

It is perfect central located hotel. Reception staff was very friendly, especially we would like to give a compliments to Mr Peter. Hotel gave us 50% discount on the parking price. The room was spacious, sparkling clean. It has the desk, mini fridge, flat screen TV,closet ,safe. The bathroom is modern with bath tube, hairdryer and complimentary amenities . The breakfast was included in the price and had various products. The only thing we would recommend to make a ceiling lights. The room had few spot lights but according to us it is not enough. For the rest we would judge our stay as perfect and recommend this property for leisure and business travelers.

First top tip - book any apartment at Residence Trafick on their website, free breakfast included and usually cheaper than any other booking website available. We booked for a five night stay, booking for the panoramic apartment with terrace, which on their website is Apartment 43. The pictures on the website match exactly what you get. The apartment is large and spacious, with an open plan living / dining / kitchen area, a separate double bedroom and a separate shower room. Kitchen - it's like being at home - there's a filter coffee machine, a capsule coffee machine (by Tchibo, takes Cafissimo capsules), a toaster, a sandwich maker, a full hob, oven, combination microwave, dishwasher, washer/dryer, full size fridge and freezer. In the cupboards and drawers you get a full set of crockery and cutlery, glassware and cooking pots/pans. Two Smart TVs - one in the living area, one in the bedroom - both set up to receive Czech digital TV - not satellite, no English channels. Play with settings and you will get the odd US/UK programme with dual language (dubbed Czech and original English). Best thing for us this week on TV - Netflix! The outdoor L-shaped terrace wraps around the apartment, fully decked. Views to the south of Prague and over the houses behind. Getting to/from the apartment - Bohdalec bus stop right outside the door. 24 CZK for a 30 minute ticket to get into the city centre (bus to Zelivskeho, metro to Mustek) or walk down the street to get a tram from Chodovska into the city centre (I'd recommend the 14 tram to Lazarska). Getting to/from the airport is simple - get a 32 CZK 90 minute ticket and get a 119 bus from the airport to Nadrazi Veleslavin, Metro to Zelivskeho and then bus to Bohdalec - time it right, and you get from airport to apartment in 50-55 minutes. Breakfast/cafe - served in the cafe/restaurant area downstairs every morning from 7am to 11am - typical breakfast buffet with cooked items, traditional Continental food, cereals, breads, yoghurts, fruit juice, tea and a decent bean-to-cup coffee machine. The apartment is self-catering and is not set up like a hotel - your linen and towels do not get changed every day (new towels every 3rd day, new bed linen every 5th day) - you can get clean towels and linen more often for a fee - or wash and dry them yourself in the excellent washer/dryer. Grocery shopping tip - the apartment is one bus stop away from Tesco Extra in one direction or a five-minute walk down the street to Kaufland. Walk to Kaufland, unless Tesco is your thing! Capsules for the coffee machine 99 CZK for 10 from Kaufland. Not apartment related but relevant to spending money - most places in Prague accept payment by card, always pay in CZK and use a card that charges 0% or a low commission for foreign currency spending. If you must get cash out, the cash machine inside Kaufland (don't know about the one outside) does not charge commission. If you need to change cash - look for the Ho

Lesser Town
Just back from 4 days in Prague staying at The Augustine Hotel. Hotel is situated in a great location for exploring the city and approximately 20 minutes walk to the city centre. Hotel itself was excellent on all levels. The rooms and decor were well appointed and our room was very spacious. We had breakfast each morning at the hotel, and it was a sumptuous meal with a large choice of meats, cheeses, pastries, cereals and fruit. As well as a large selection, the food was also fresh and good quality. There was even a huge piece of fresh honeycomb, that was messy to serve but worth the effort! We had drinks at the Refectory Bar on a couple of evenings and this is a very tranquil room, that is ideal for relaxing after a hard day of sightseeing. All the staff we encountered were friendly and courteous although we didn't really use any of the hotel facilities. All in all a great hotel, that ticks every box for a perfect stay in Prague.

We had a double room but the matress was divided in two with a gap between so not really a double bed. Also the bubble pool needed a real cleaning. Algea growing on the sides. Since it is a spa hotel and we payed for the special baths I would expect there to be two water glasses instead of just one and the candles lit. There were so many nice candlesticks but only two small candles were lit. It would have made the world of a difference in the salt cave and the bathtub room. And our baths were so hot it wasn't possible to sit down in them. I had to pour in alot of cold water to be able to sit down at all. We were asked what we wanted for breakfast since we were only two couples staying so they would make the breakfast personalized. Fine I thought but then when it was breakfast time they had made a buffé instead and the things I asked for for example bacon, wasn't available. I wouldn't have missed it but when they ask what you want for breakfast I expect it to be furfilled or beeing told that it is not possible or 'hey we have more guests now so we will do our ordinary buffé instead'. The outer door that is supposed to be locked, isn't. You get at card to be able to enter. But it doesnt lock you can just push it open. The bathroom floor was super cold and the toilet seat uncomfortably icy. For a 4 star hotel this is not acceptable. There is a lack of interest towards the costumers. Since we were only two couples staying I would think it would be easy to make the best of it but instead it felt halfhearted. Doing the bare minimum. It is a shame since the place has really great potential. I did like the sauna. Small but sufficient. The salt cave was also a nice experience. The breakfast area was also alright. I liked our room apart from the ice cold bathroom and divided double bed. Pricing was also decent. All in all, it didnt live up to a 4 star hotel and not to my expectations. We still had a nice stay but it felt halfhearted as said before.

During July of 2019 my wife and I stayed four nights at the Hotel U Krize. I am rating our overall experience there as worthy of 5 Stars, and, I am not saying it is a 5 Star Hotel by the classic definition of that term. This charming little hotel provides decent, clean rooms that are quaint and comfortable, but not luxurious by any means. That’s no knock on the hotel, just my intent to make this review as accurate as possible. With that said, I have to say that we greatly enjoyed our stay here, because our measure of the quality of a hotel is based on more than just the room, as we actually spend very little time in it. We also liked the fact that it was located within walking distance of the city center. We found the staff at this hotel to be very welcoming and caring, including Dagmar who efficiently checked us in and patiently answered all of our questions with a smile, Valerie at the front desk who was amazingly kind and helpful during our entire stay, and Roman, one of the hotel’s drivers, who was really friendly and professional in his work. We also really enjoyed eating at one of the hotel’s two restaurants (not the gourmet one, which we didn’t try so I cannot comment on but I have no doubt it would be delicious). The food was truly excellent, the prices were reasonable, and the service was top notch as well. One of the wait staff in particular, John, made us feel very welcome and was a lot of fun to talk with. We thought so much of the food that we wound up eating at the hotel three of the four nights of our stay. Based upon our very positive experience Hotel U Krize I can say without reservation that we would not hesitate to stay there again should we return to Prague. Speaking of the city, we really liked our entire experience in visiting there, and I highly recommend it as a travel destination.

I have visited this hotel for 2 nights with my family for Middle Europe tour via ETS tour company. Hotel is nice. Breakfast is not that "poor" that mentioned about. Its very satisfied even for a Turk just like me. It was very rich and the american salad was ultra delicious. We liked it. But only one problem was about staffs behaviour to our tour friends. The lady staff in the restaurant was not polite and she said something roughly. We couldn't understand what she said. I think she mentioned about the foods that she thought about too much on the table. I would love to send her a one week holiday ticket with her family in a five-stars hotel one of the 500 five-stars hotel in Antalya. I guaratee its impossible to being encountered a situation just like that one. I would love to see by herself what a breakfast is and how a customer satisfied with it.

Old Town
Chose the hotel for our Prague city break based on location and reviews and it didn’t disappoint. Just off the Old Square and easy walking for all main attractions on both sides of the river. A bit difficult to find as the front entrance is through the coffee shop, also part of the hotel and we walked past it without noticing. The rear entrance is best for taxi’s as they can stop directly outside – this entrance leads to a lovely courtyard with outside tables. Our room was fine – on the first floor overlooking the courtyard – not massive but big enough with very high ceilings, plenty of storage and a huge Jacuzzi bath with shower – and a great feeling of history. Buffet breakfast was in a room off the courtyard with an interesting selection for a Brit tourist. I think the fried eggs and beans were for me but really enjoyed sampling the other meats, fruits, cheese, cakes, unknown savouries – and there was a selection of sliced breads, spreads and a toaster – put it through twice obviously  Our main contact with the staff was really just booking in and out via the coffee shop and all very good. We really loved our stay here. We arranged our taxi transfer from/to airport via booking.com and they were competitively priced and very good.
