The hostel is located a little bit hidden down the alley almost in the corner. Room was clean, unique zebra design in the room, and surprisingly quiet, might be depend on the location of the room. This is a perfect place for those who doesn't want to encounter many people. Just at the corner there is 7-11, many restaurants and cafes nearby, 15 mins walk to BTS ThongLor

Love everything about this place. All rooms are designed differently because the staff had shown my around. Each room got its own theme color and name. Everything in this small hotel has delivered great story about Thonglor neighborhood. I really love the idea that they use the local red bus as their lobby reception counter as it is the signature of Thonglor Road. The staffs are very nice, helpful, and friendly. This place has just recently opened so everything is so brand new. The location is great which is surrounded by 24hr supermarkets, restaurants, coffee places, night clubs, hospital, and so forth. The room is super clean. Last but not least, the bed is super duper comfortable! I will definitely come back again!!

Very good ~ breakfast and half buffet, unlimited meals before 11:00, a good variety of products. The bed was very comfortable, the bed was very good, the hotel was very new and the facilities were qualified to a five-star standard. It is convenient to get around, and it is easy to go to the conmmons and the famous mango glutinous rice restaurant in the alley. It is 10 minutes walk from bts but the hotel has shuttle bus to pick up and drop off. When I came back to meet the heavy rain in the evening, I called the hotel shuttle bus but it was not empty but immediately sent a tutu car to the bts station for export. It was awesome, I really don't know what to do. Service personnel are of good quality, standard five-star service standards but more friendly. Before he was hesitant in the toonglor55 and this family, and then happened to go to the toonglor55 to do let's relax horse killing chicken, I feel that I have chosen this! Will come live next time!

I have lost count how many times I have stayed at Somerset Sukhumvit Thonglor - it is my default choice every time I am in Bangkok and I must have recommended this establishment to dozens of my friends - all of whom have grown fond of the place too. I must have left at least a couple of reviews previously and I am doing so again today to give special mention to Yoko-san (GRM) who was extraordinarily kind and considerate leading up to my return, and Ms. Nutcharee (housekeeping) who was very mindful and quick to cheerily resolve a request made during my last stay. Am looking forward to be back again. Stay safe in this period, everyone!

I spent four months this Summer at Staybridge Suites Bangkok Thonglor! From the moment I started to negotiate the agreement for the long stay with Khun Nes (Nattaporn), to the moment I left, I was treated like a princess. The staff are all so helpful and don’t mind you asking anything. Suites are clean as can be and as comfortable as at home. I really cannot fault the attention I had from Khun Nan the General Manager who went out of her way to arrange for my accommodation after having to check out. I really enjoyed my stay and will be back in a heart beat. Even at the day of my check out with all my bags Khun Friend went above and beyond helping out. I thank you for an incredible time and I could go on for days about how nice it was, all I can say is stay, enjoy and relax. What serviced apartments should be! Oh and the most amazing thing was coming down to the lobby to be welcomed on the Happy Fridays with snacks and drinks on the house. Hats off to everyone and thank you, highly recommended!

I booked this hotel for the last night of our two week visit to Thailand and was extremely disappointed with it. The website makes the hotel look, clean, bright and quirky. However, in reality it does not live up to this. The entrance and reception are nice and have some of the colourful features I was expecting like a multi-coloured horse sculpture and colourful walls but the picture on the website is definitely taken using a wide-angle lens as the reception is no way near that large and the rooms are incredibly basic and tired. We booked two rooms, one for my parents and one for myself, but on arrival the hotel insisted that we had only booked one room. Perhaps there was some confusion as the rooms were both booked under the same name, but this made our arrival stressful. Once the hotel finally found our second reservation, they agreed to upgrade one of our rooms. Whilst the room we were upgraded too was huge, it had no windows as it was in the middle of the hotel and stunk of stale cigarette smoke. It was far too big and sparse for two people and reminded me of a cheap club we have in the UK called Oceana. The carpets were stained and the furniture looked dated, in stark contrast to the pictures I'd seen. We were also told that we hadn't paid for our rooms (which we had!) so overall, the welcome and customer service was pretty poor. The smaller room which I stayed in had a view out onto the street, but anyone who's been to Bangkok will know how loud the traffic can be, so noise is a major factor to bear in mind when booking this hotel. We also stayed on a Friday night, so this made it even louder as there were several bars, including a roof bar across the street, open quite late into the night. The room was also very hot and the air conditioning was broken and making a very loud sound but producing no air. I had no choice but to have the window open, but as it was still very humid outside as well as noisy, I found it impossible to get to sleep. The shower was also faulty and was dripping throughout the night and the bed was so hard and uncomfortable it was like sleeping on a stone slab. Overall I would not recommend staying here. It is definitely a budget hotel but I thought it would be more special and quirky because of the pictures I'd seen. In hindsight, I would pay extra to stay somewhere like a chain hotel so that at least I know that it'll be nice and that I can get a restful night's sleep!

Poor hotel. Dirty. The mattress covers has holes... they only put curtain on wall but there is no window. A complete joke. The toilet was not clean and very dity. The room smells like moth balls. We checked out on the day we checked in. Very bad and dirty location too!

We booked this accommodation via Airbnb which you would see pictures of it. It was stated that it is a Townhouse, which made me thinking I was booking a an entireTown house . I found out later that it was a Town House converted flats without lift ;it was difficult having to carry the luggage up to the top floor, which was where we were staying, via a narrow spiral stairs. -------------------------------------------------------------------- NOTES: -This flat does not have a washing machine -No cooker, hob, pots and pans in the kitchen. -Only good for extreme light meals preparation such as toast ; microwaveable meals, and there are tea and coffee sachets in the flat. - no tea towel, dish towel etc -There is no iron and ironing board --------------------------------------------------------------- LIKES : -reasonble charges; utilities bills included -lots of eateries nearby -Comfortable beds - Patch the "all in one" man was very helpful -very spacious flat - welcome packs includes tea and coffee sachets as well as a loaf of white bread and individually packed jams and butter. bottled water was provided which was excellent for this heat -lots of eateries nearby ------------------------------------------ DISLIKES: - hard and high pillows; very uncomfortable. -Outdoor furniture was used as indoor sofa comfort level no where near as good as an indoor sofa . -The flat was tidy but the cleanliness was 5 out of 10 ..our white socks were black after walking on the floor and that was on our first hour staying in that flat. -slippers were provided but they were used; expected disposable one's for hygenie concern. -Toiletries were provided too but we use our own as they looked old and they smell.

Chatuchak Weekend Market
Hotel has modern, new decor with a nice big shower, comfortable bed and pillows. The AC is quite strong and often times I had to turn it off. The pool and sunken seating look great at night There is a nice size gym as well. The wifi worked really well for streaming. The washer/dryrr service is not advertised and there is no info telling you can buy washing powder for 20baht at the front desk. Each machine requires 50 baht in coins to use it or you have to press a button on the dryer handle to start it. Cons: *More signage needed in the laundry area *No slippers for the bare floors *One movie channel and it is in Thai *A sad assortment of continental breakfast items squeezed onto one table not worth the effort and definitely not worth 200 something baht. *Toilet room is so close to the door, you can sit on toilet and open door. *The room is small for a Thailand hotel room . *There is nothing touristy nearby. *Needed to log into wifi every single time you enter the room.

Excellent service, staff is friendly and helpful. Hotel and all inferior is new, except the control button for window curtain in the room does not really work. I had to press for several times. Room is sound-proofed with exceptional city view. I really enjoyed the view at night. The minor thing is that the chinese restaurant and skybar didnt open on the date we stay at the hotel so we couldn't experience that. But overall experience here is good, worth the money :)
