The hotel is tasteful and coherently furnished. The rooms are spacious and still despite the proximity to a very driven street. The staff are friendly and well-deserved. Breakfast is rich. A parking area is available at the house and free. We were very satisfied. Nearby a forest and parking area is invited to walk. The bus is convenient to get to the city.

I was not planning on staying at a hotel near Hamburg airport but because of a flight disruption I made a last-minute reservation at Courtyard. I was pleasantly surprised by the room which I found to be quite nice for airport hotel standards, or for any Courtyard for that matter. The hotel is only 1km from the airport and there is a pedestrian path which makes it somewhat walkable if luggage is not too heavy; the lone challenge is that there is a small hill to climb as the path passes above another road. The hotel has a shuttle bus available every 30 minutes however it’s only available mornings and evenings, not between 12pm and 6pm. I showed up at the hotel barely 15 minutes after booking and I was already proactively upgraded to a suite as Marriott Bonvoy Ambassador Elite guest. The room looked great for Courtyard brand standards and I would have almost nothing negative to note except perhaps that air conditioning was disconnected for the winter, but the room was hot so we had to open the window to get some fresh air. To open such window, interestingly there were two windows so soundproofing (when closed) was hard to beat. I wish more airport hotels had such high quality windows. I am not a regular at Courtyard hotels but the very few where I stayed were cumbersome in their management of the Marriott breakfast or food credit benefit for guests Platinum and above, and this one hotel was no exception. I asked to receive the 10 EUR food & beverage benefit per person per day instead of welcome points. Perhaps this is standard at all CYs, but when I asked if I could combine the credit for both nights into an order made on a single day, the answer was no, the credit is only per day and cannot be carried over to another night. On the last day I did not really plan on ordering anything so I went to the bar for a drink but it was closed in the afternoon and would only open at 5pm. The receptionist told me that I could use the credit for wine or beer from the pantry near reception so that was my choice. However the next morning upon departure they did not apply the credit because they said the pantry was not eligible to the credit (unlike what I was told). After discussion they removed the charge, but all in all it was a lot of hassle for the management of this credit compared to hotels that simply provide free breakfast, period. In theory there are many situations where I prefer a credit because I might not want hotel breakfast so I am not opposed to the concept, but the execution seems to be lacking. In any event, the one time that I ordered room service, food quality was excellent. Overall the hotel was quite nice for a Courtyard near an airport and I can recommend it for a short stay between flights. There is not a lot of competition from large hotel chains near HAM airport, I saw a Radisson but that’s pretty much it, so upon returning to HAM I would book a room at CY again without second thoughts.
The receiption and breakfast area is appropriate The staff is very helpful and friendly Everything is efficent Room is very clean What I didn't like: - Room was with two single beds - although we came as a couple (it was in the description, that there are rooms with single bed, but I didn't expect) - No Water boiler in the appartment - The bread and rolls at the breakfast buffet
This family-run, 3-star hotel is in the north of Hamburg, just 2 km from the airport. Soundproofed windows still assure you a good night's sleep. Free parking is available. The Hotel Cockpit offers comfortable rooms with modern amenities. Most of the rooms are non-smoking. A hearty breakfast from the buffet can be enjoyed for an additional charge. An U-Bahn (underground) station is just 500 metres from the hotel. From here, it takes just 24 minutes to reach Hamburg's city centre.
We wanted a hotel near Hamburg Airport. The hotel is fairly new and in fact, none of the four taxi drivers that we used, had heard of it. Luckily I had the address printed out. From the airport to the hotel it is about 5 minutes by car and costs approx. 10 euros. The hotel doesn't have a Restaurant as such, they do serve breakfast and scrambled eggs and baked beans were the hot food choices on offer, plus cold meats, rolls, fruit, cereal and plenty of bread for toasting. A word about the toaster, it is a pop-up 4 slice toaster but only 2 slots work and it is VERY slow indeed. Various coffees are available from quite an upmarket coffee machine. There are tea/coffee making facilities in the bedroom and you can use water from the tap. The bed was very comfortable and the duvets (one single each person on a king sized bed) were extremely warm. Maintenance of the hotel could be improved, for instance the shower door lets the water out over the floor, there was a slight sewerage smell in the morning, as well the aforementioned toaster not working properly. Just a few odd little things really. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful regarding travel etc. Just one or two other points - the only TV only channel in English is Sky News, but we didn't spend much time watching TV so no great hardship there, we felt that the addition of a bar of soap with the toiletries would be beneficial. Lastly, if you do feel peckish, there is a Burger King about 5 minutes walk away.

Hotels Near Kursana Residenz Hamburg In Hamburg Review
This hotel had stylish decor and the rooms were very modern and clean. However the air con was insufficient and when we questioned the staff about changing the temperature we were told the air con could not be changed even though this was not the case in my sisters room. The staff behind the front desk were not helpful and really let our hotel experience down. The location was perfect for exploring Hamburg and we loved the area.
Location is not very convenient, but OK if you take a taxi.
Breakfast is alright, staff was very friendly and helpful.
Reception staff at the day of check-out was also very friendly.
Room was clean and big enough.
Overall, the hotel is a good choice, if you arrive by taxi, and if you can get a good price for your stay.
Walking distance to the metro station of main station is about 15 minutes.
We stayed at the Super 8 in Mitte, Hamburg at the beginning of March 2022. It is in a good location, not far from Berliner Tor train and Metro stations. There are a few places to eat in the area , as well as supermarkets (including a huge REAL supermarket close to the station!). We found the staff to be very helpful during our stay, supplying us with information, etc. I would definately recommend this hotel!
We found this hotel when planning a trip to Hamburg and were attracted by the plush, cozy but classy English design and its location near the lake. When we arrived the style did not disappoint but the service did and the lack of English. We complained about certain issues such as the really floppy and useless pillows and front of house sent up housekeeping that didn’t speak a word of English so the problem didn’t get resolved the first night. It was rather frustrating. Used crockery was left in the room for the entire stay and shower gel nor shampoo was replaced. It’s safe to say that housekeeping worked below standard for a 4* hotel. The room looked stylishly decorated but was getting a little tired with marks on the walls, massive chips in furniture, tears in the curtains and rings on the wooden surfaces from glasses. Room 502 just needs quite some TLC to get back to that 4* standard. It’s a shame because the first impression was quite nice. We had a balcony and a view of the lake which was very cool. The bar downstairs was very classy and buzzing every evening. Shame the Campari lounge on the roof wasn’t open even though the weather was great. So we went and took our business to the bar in Le Meridien which was awesome. A missed opportunity in my opinion. That bar should have been open. Finally 29 euro per person for an hour in a sauna (they call it a spa area) is just too much, definitely when they leave out lemon water that had stood out in the sun for hours, perhaps days, and had gone off. It was horrible. An overall disappointing experience as I expected so much better. I would not go back to stay at this hotel, but the bar is definitely worth a visit and I am still curious about the Campari lounge.
Great value for money close to the Zoo.. even though it was perhaps not a topnotch hotel, we thought we got good value for money with spacious and clean rooms and easy access to parking (which is not a given in Hamburg)… breakfast was ok as well :-)
Amazing for staying in Hamburg on a budget. Quality vs price is great! A bit far away from the center but the hotel is one minute from the station which takes you easy in to central station. We were very pleased with the cleaning and tidieness of the place. The beds are comfortable and a big bathroom. The improvement we would like to see is an air conditioner in the room and maybe better WiFi. We still think it’s a great place and we loved it!
The rooms are clean and large. The staff is premature and helpful. I can imagine that bad reviews - like unfriendly staff - come from the fact that the staff makes people friendly about the mask obligation and many of these guests are not cooperative. Really very recommended!! We feel very well:)
900 meters away from the Central Railway Station, the location is good, parking outside the front and rear doors, but there is no boiling water and coffee pot, very close to the subway station, take a stop to the city center, there is a Chinese supermarket, Chinese food, commercial street nearby
Deliberately chose a hotel suitable for shopping, it is really good, next door is the mall, you can go shopping at any time, hotel facilities are not like five stars, put China is the most four stars, the waiter attitude is very good, some general, especially Restaurant waiter! I have had two burgers at the bar. It’s so delicious that you have to try it! The breakfast is almost always cool. It’s enough to eat for seven days. I still want to bring some Chinese food. I don’t want to save money.
Near the train station, there are restaurants and supermarkets around the area making it very convenient. Its always busy and full of people which is a plus. Beds are comfortable and sturdy as well as giving you some privacy. Bathrooms may be a bit too small inside the room. Elevators are very slow so not very convenient when youre at the top floor. Otherwise, really good place.
Wonderful hotel for super price
Located in Eppendorf
Near UKE & Nedderfeld shopping centre
Extremely friendly & helpful despite customer rang & much stress
Unfortunately longer waiting time, as 1 receptionist, which is already at least 1 customer in service
Hotline absolute disaster! Always customer-enemy. Or grievous or patchy & unwilling to find solutions
Very quiet despite the proximity to the main road, but not muckmoussing
Clean but not clinically pure
The niu hotels app very useful, but it often does not react as key ”fast” enough as the room card
Room key does not always work reliably
Cosy and numerous kittens

Drinking certificate, unless room cleaning is made
Light-dense, light-transparent hangs & darkness hangs

We staid at B&B in Hamburg to visit the city and surroundings. All we needed waas a clean, good room to rest, and that is exactly what we got. A room with own shower and toilet, a good bed, small table, TV, all very clean. Personnel is very friendly and available. You could have a breakfast for low price, but could have a meal in room as well. Moreover, parking a car in very specious garage is available and not pricey as well. Checking in was easily done by entrance, no support from personnel needed, at the reception the details were arranged We had bikes with us and that made it possible to visit the city of Hamburg in an ideal way, being only 2km from altstadt, the harbour district, the Elbe and the lakes
We stayed at the Henri Hotel for almost a week and could not have been happier. The location is great! 5 minutes to Hauptbahnhof and about 5-10 minutes to the major hall. We loved the decor and atmosphere of this place. Our room was spacious, very clean, and the bed was one of the most comfortable hotel beds I have ever slept in. Wow! Another plus were sound proof windows and a working AC! Staff was incredibly friendly each we needed them and the breakfast was delicious! We would totally stay there again. A gem of a find!
Simple breakfast, the hotel is 15 minutes walk from the train station, there is no restaurant supermarket nearby, there is parking lot, if it is self-driving, the room is OK, the hotel is relatively new.
The BO Hotel is a better assembly accommodation, but no hotel as you can imagine. Our room was dark and the beds were awaited. The mattress of one bed was awaited and you were in the so-called cool. To be quiet about the optical state of the beds. With art leather, that at the corners and edges was partly no longer present - very unpleasant. If I had looked at photos of the hotel's outdoor view before booking, I wouldn't have booked it, the facade already says a few things. Breakfast - for the whole 14,-- € per person - the purest farce. For the money we would have received a richly varied breakfast at the age. However, here we can't talk about rich or even choice. Stumbled muffins and hard breads are only two of the things that have not voted here. Our conclusion: BO-Hotel - no thank you. Where are the positive reviews from here? !
The hotel is located near the commercial street and is not far from the city hall. It is more convenient to travel, but there are fewer parking spaces. The underground garage is limited to 1.8 meters in height. The larger station wagons cannot enter. 28 euros a day, 3.5 euros an hour, and a full day's stop is more cost-effective.
The most satisfying and cost-effective hotel reminds me of Japan, every detail is very thoughtful, even if the room is not big. The occupancy rate in winter is not high. Going left and turning left at the traffic lights is the red light district. The S1 line Reeperbahn station is also here, 10 minutes to the train station central.
We decided on the 25hrs hotel in Bahrenfeld as it had good parking facilities. I'm very pleased we did. After staying in a 'not so nice' hotel for the previous two nights of our little tour of northern Germany, our room at 25 hours was lovely and clean and had a nice fresh smell. By comparison it was an oasis of down to earth luxury!!!! The S-bahn was a very short walk away and only took around 11 minutes to get to the centre of Hamburg (we did walk to the Landungsbrucken area one day as we wanted the fresh air and it was perfectly manageable, perhaps would take to long for some). There are shops and a little café very close to the hotel, so ideal if you need to get some essentials. The staff simply could not have been more helpful, from recommendations on where to go for food and drinks to extra pillows or trying to boost the poor wi-fi nothing seemed to be a problem. My only issue, and a very minor complaint was the shower curtain. Whilst very clean, it did keep attaching itself to my legs, which I hate. The shower was both hot and powerful, which perhaps didn't help the curtain staying where it should have. That minor gripe aside, we had a lovely two nights in this hotel and I would certainly make another booking if I returned to Hamburg.
I was from 28.07.22 - 29.07.22 in the beautiful Intercityhotel Hamburg-Barmbek. We were welcomed by a quite young receptionist. She was very professional and especially friendly. You already felt right well. The wish in the 3. The floor was filled with a beautiful view. The beautifully furnished room has a pleasant size ( we had noticed the cheapest category). The bed was very comfortable and let us have beautiful dreams. There is even Sky Sport/Bundesliga for which men may be interested. Also a minibar with a free water bottle has jumped into our eyes. Very worth praising! Also there was a great rain shower! The only manko was the air conditioning, which was already set at -1 degree Celsius at the arrival. But it was then possible to adjust it individually. What we also felt positive is that there is a free ÖPNV ticket for each hotel guest including. This was very good because we went to Musical ,”Wicked” in the evening and we could conveniently drive to the stage theater new Flora. To the train station you need only a maximum of 2 minutes from the hotel. Generally, this is a very good central hotel. Let's come to the only critical points, and to breakfast, which is currently offered for €17 per person. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed at that point. Most because we paid together at first €51 for it. The breads were very hard. The spoon was dry and the stick appeared not to be made by itself. For this price it was not good at all. This was notified at the reception below and the criticism was also taken very seriously. The woman was also a young receptionist and also very friendly. After our question how to stay here now, we were friendlyly refunded a breakfast and the parking ticket. You can't really make meckers at the service. Thank you very much to the friendly and professional staff and staff!
The hotel is in a good location, opposite the Porsche Centre and about 2 km from the Central Railway Station. The environment is very good, the breakfast is very exquisite, the subway station is out, the front desk service is superb, it can speak English and German, the facilities are complete, the printer computer is near the front desk, WIFI is very fast.
The greeting was very warm, staff very friendly and helpful. The room, a BACHELOR apartment, is top equipped. Only heating did not go. Quickly a new room was sought uncomplicated. The other 2 rooms all in the 6 floors had the same problem. Home engineering should do it next day, it actually only had to be ventilated the heating, but it never came any. The glucer was very nervous and disturbing. Water hair in kitchen totally calcified. Kitchen and equipment otherwise top. TV (picture) had a strip and somehow unwilling features. Breakfast buffet was very overview and optical as culinary no inspiration. This has not been the Prosecco's gone out to the new year morning. However, a good gesture, thank you. From the location the hotel is top. You are on the landing bridges with car in 10 minutes for example. With bus lines 4, stop about 2 minutes from the hotel, you are directly at the city's council market in about 50 - 60 minutes. From air traffic, the hotel is located depending on wind location in the influx snee, you can hardly hear anything at closed windows. We cannot assess the lunch table that there is in the hotel because it was not offered during the silver day of this. That was very bad. There is a good Greek and Italian around it. Otherwise Hamburg has enough food. Concluded: We had promised more or even expected more by the time something different concept of this hotel. For the days about Silvester it was okay, but price/performance did not fit for us.
The hotel is very new and is just a few steps from Hafen City, in a very quiet area both day and night, also close to many bus stops and trams to reach the center. We had two doubles big enough, in line with the rooms of the other Premier Inn. No closet and no refrigerator. Bathroom with big shower. Comfortable bed. This is flat-screen TV and coffee machine. Unfortunately, it causes covid, no breakfast in the room, but only as a removal, which we did not want and therefore reduced us from what was due to breakfast. Cleaning is done every three days, but it is not clear whether it was a Covid emergency rule or the practice. The handwheel was not changed, but guests had to make requests at reception every day and were delivered in clock-shaped, as was the case with hygienic paper, soap, etc. In fact, this was quite irritating. I hope it was only the social distance measures, a friendly and available staff, all overall recommended
It is accidental to book this hotel this time, because the booking time is very short, so the price is not cheap. Hotel location is very close to the train station, very clean, breakfast is quite rich, although it is three-star, but comparable to the four-star hotel
The location is very convenient, go out is the U1 subway station. The staff is also very enthusiastic. But the only downside is that when the front desk communicates, I sometimes use English a little slow, and I will be slightly impatient.
Clean, modern and centrally located. ***** I decided on a weekend away to visit the beautiful city of Hamburg and catch-up with a long-time friend. This hotel is centrally located - a 5 minute walk away from the main station and was perfect when arriving on a late flight. It is modern and comfortable and the staff pleasant enough. I opted for a single room and found it to be spacious, with all the amenities I’d expect and a full sized bathroom. There were free apples in reception and a free bottle of water in the room, which was a nice touch. I had a comfortable time and I don’t recognise the comments made in the negative reviews. The hotel describes itself as a “boutique” hotel and I wonder if the negative reviews are a reflection that it really isn’t a boutique. It’s clean, it’s functional, it’s modern - but I wouldn’t describe it as boutique. For example, the staff were inflexible on a late check-out (it just didn’t seem to be a possibility, even for a fee!) and some of the small touches you might expect at a “boutique” hotel just weren’t there. However, this doesn’t take away from the fact it was clean, comfortable, conveniently located and good value.
