Wow! The hotel was a dream, the room was amazing with the most stunning views across the roof tops of the town towards the misty cloud topped mountains in the distance. The hotel manager Inigo was super lovely, really friendly, helpful and so sociable he made the stay in an already perfect setting 5* I can recommend eating at the hotel one night rather than always venturing out it was really lovely and the birthday cake with candle & the whole restaurant singing to my best friend made his night. The grounds are kept beautifully and as an eco site surrounded by fruit trees, a really lovely place to enjoy a glass of wine ( which the manager Inigo made some excellent suggestions of) and to sit back and just enjoy the breathtaking scenery. All of the hotel staff were lovely without exception ( quite rare). Recommend the drive to Donostia ( San Sebastián) lovely day out, also to Bilbao for the Guggenheim Museum but coming back to this gem nestled in the foot hills is what made it special

Es un hotel que está bien para ser de categoría una estrella. 🏢 La ubicación con repecto al Santurio es buena, pero hay que subir una cuesta bastante pronunciada por lo que recomiendo aparcar en la puerta. 🛏 La habitación era amplia y cómoda para la categoría del hotel, con escritorio, TV, enchufes en mesillas de noche y buenas vistas. Se escucha TODO, no están nada insonorizadas, tanto si hay gente en la terrza como en las habitaciones colindantes y pasillo. La cama era cómoda pero las almohadas son incómodas, se necesitan al menos dos. 🚿 El baño estaba bien, equipado con secador de pelo, pero deberían cambiar la alcachofa de la ducha, sale con tanta presión que hasta hace daño, horrorosa. 👨🏻‍💼 El poco trato que tuvimos con el personal fue escaso, y llegábamos a por la noche (22h aprox) o salíamos temprano (8h) y estaban absolutamente todas las luces de la entrada y recepción apagadas... un poco creepy. 🧑🏻‍🦽 Adaptado con ascensor para acceder a las plantas superiores.

We are going on tourism in inland Gipuzkoa. The hotel is very good, the staff is perfect and since we were tired of the 650 kilometers we stayed for dinner and it was a meal very well deserving of a 9. Why I didn't put EXCELLENT = It's a bit complicated to find it and if you add that THERE IS NO NOT ONE LIT SIGN even more... because we passed by 5 times without seeing it. Lastly, thanks to Ms. Edurne (I think it was her or Ms. Arantxa) who didn't guide us on her mobile and waited for us at the door. It was very kind and unusual to find such a person. If they turn on the light I will recommend it, many times even more. Only one small fault, the breakfast is very fair in terms of assortment. In any case, thank you very much and if you come here again, we will surely visit you again. Thank you, you made our evening very pleasant. Regards Pep
