Staying here for the second time, because I like to stay in a familiar place, it is also the most lively place in Kyoto, and it is very convenient to eat. There is a direct bus from Kyoto Station, get off at Shijo Kawaramachi Station, and you can see one star and eight grams in less than three minutes. There is an elevator to the hotel lobby at the door, and the second floor is up. At the time of check-in, I paid Kyoto hotel accommodation tax at the front desk, and I received cash. I didn’t understand how to calculate the charge. I didn’t have this tax at the beginning of the year. This time you need to leave the room key & #128273; to the front desk for safekeeping, come back and take it very conveniently, don't worry about losing. There are some maps, coffee, hair circles opposite the front desk... for guests to pick up. Booked twin room, the room is not too small, the bathroom is still too small. Since I was staying for the second time, I didn't think about taking photos at the beginning. I took a photo when I checked out. It was a little messy.

This hotel looks good in terms of the design in general and it does have good concept that it strives to be eco-friendly and promote organic products. It also has some studios that you can check out on the 3rd floor. Customer service is good in general. They provide free drinks at the restaurants in the hotel like coffee and beer. The hairdryer and the water pot are the decent ones with good brands. Definitely there’s no complaints with the service and the amenities, but there are a number of things that need further improvement: 1. No toothbrushes and combs are provided as they are promoting plastic free but you can purchase at front desk. However, hotel did not notify before the trip at all. If the customer doesn’t know about your policy, in the end they will simply buy a plastic toothbrush from you. It would defeat your plastic free purpose but you can charge 110 yen more per head. I would say it’s a good idea but please do notify your customers before their stay. 2. There is no heater in the room and you have to call front desk to request them to turn on at back end, while it’s less than 10C in Kyoto. Please turn on the heater beforehand. If you don’t prefer turning on the heater, it is fine as well but please mention in the note that you share with your customer. It would show that you have thought about their needs. 3. The lighting system in the room is not good. There are two sets of buttons that control the lights. One set controls the bedding lights and the other set control the rest of the lights in the room except bathroom. The issue is that if you turn off the main lights and only turn on the bed lights, it would be very dark. If you leave the main light turned on, it would be too bright. One of the button on the headboard didn’t not work well- after it’s pushed in, it couldn’t really bounce back. 4. The food served in the restaurant on 1st floor is bad. We ordered two pasta. One is spaghetti with orange zest and fish sperm. The fish sperm is probably the worst we have ever had. It’s not fresh at all. You would expect a decent dish in a hotel restaurant instead of this quality. 5. There’s some stain in water pot. We had to clean it before use. 6. The couch is in pinkish red. The room is chic but not cozy enough. 7. Smoking area is located in the room inside the car park. It does look more like the smoking area in the car park instead of the hotel’s. It is a bit scary if you go alone. Therefore, the conclusion is that hardware is good and resources is good too, but if this hotel could think more from customer perspective, it would be better. Looking forward to your improvement!

I don't have a bad word to say about this hotel. The room we were given when we booked a twin room is the largest I've stayed at in Japan and it was the cheapest! Aside from the usual amenities there was a table, chairs, a washing machine, sink and a microwave in the room and still room to spread open our luggage. Housekeeping changed our towels and emptied the bin every day (though they didnt make the bed which didn't bother us). There was a kettle and tea in the room but in the lobby they had free soda and coffee machines which was really helpful. Overall the finish and facilities really make this hotel stand out. The location was also great for us. It's a few dozen feet into Shin-kyogoku dori which is a vibrant but not overly busy shopping street with lots of shops and restaurants on the mains street and all the little side streets. It's also very close to the main streets of Kawaramachi dori and Shijo dori which makes it convenient for getting around Kyoto via the Keihan and Hankyu railway lines and by bus though it's also within walking distance of many shrines. The only difficulty is getting here from Kyoto Station since the bus is very cramped if you have large bags so I'd recommend a taxi/uber which cost around 2500 yen.

This is a good hostel and is reliable but there are a few problems. The rooms were very small and had a damp smell and the AC in my room that I shared with my friend was relatively poor. However the beds were comfortable and it is in a great location. The easiest way to sum it up is that is does a job and isn’t bad by any means. Good WiFi, good location and very good bathroom facilities. Sidonie was relatively rude to me and my friends and she didn’t seem to want to help much. I would rather have not put names on this review but I think this should be read as constructive criticism and a push in the right direction to start caring more for customers and having an interest in her job.

This small boutique hotel is perfectly situated in Kyoto to visit the main areas of interest. Walking distance to the Geisha streets, the old city section with multiple temples, and the markets. Plenty of restaurants in close proximity. On a quiet street. The room (#3) was large, nicely furnished. Comfortable bed. Spacious bath room with shower. The check-in was gracious. Plenty of information, city maps, restaurant recommendations. Highly recommend

The location is great because there was a problem with the reservation. I have been waiting at the counter for a while and I have confirmed it, but there are no major problems! You need to enter your password to enter and exit, so take a picture with your phone! The hot spring also needs a password. It is located next to the counter on the third floor. I want to make it in the morning, but the restaurant is next to me. The girl will be a little embarrassed.

First, let me say that it is not too satisfactory. Kwai is the name of a brand management company, so the location of each house is different. The location shown on Ctrip is on the side of Kamogawa, but the actual house we are staying in is some distance from Kamogawa. It is recommended to mark the location of each house so that the guest can find it through the map. We just got off JR and got a car at Kyoto Station. Please ask the driver to talk to the housekeeper. According to the instructions of the housekeeper, the driver can only find out the approximate location and put us down. This place is still a few tens of meters away from the house, but it can't be found. . Later, I waited for the butler to find us, and called the hotel to confirm the location for a long time, and finally the butler found us. Second, we feel impeccable about the house itself. Two people live 84 square meters, which is quite a luxury in Japan. The first time I went to Kyoto, I should still feel like this old house, but I don’t think it would be uncomfortable because it is an old house. Floor heating, air conditioning, and more are all available. If you carefully explore it, the things you use are better, including the tea and tea sugar in the hill garden, the water-containing paper towel of Dawang, the electrical appliances such as Dyson and Tiger, which are the greatest sincerity of the store to the guests in terms of quality. . Third, the Japanese people's maintenance of health is really obvious. Living in this community is closer to the life of real Japanese. The ground was spotless, the room was a little gray, and the garden was neatly organized. In short, all kinds of comfort. Fourth, there is a bistro next to it, called the seven-round raft, not bad. It’s a nice treat to have a small wine and a barbecue in the evening.

Distance: Very close to Heyuan Town, 5 minutes walk. But the entrance is hard to find. Since I didn't do the Raiders, I asked the people in the consultation center where to go after the station. By the way, I asked how the hotel went. Fortunately, I was told in advance that the entrance to the hotel was a bit troublesome, so I was still successful, even if I went to the hotel entrance and went on a trip. Advantage: 10 minutes from the duck river. After crossing the four bridges, I went to Fushimi Inari's tram. You can walk along the flower to the Yasaka Shrine to the three-year board to the Kiyomizu-dera Temple. Couples live awesome. With the little guy still lived so much. The door was under construction, and there was a big bookstore outside the window, but I didn't go. Since I have not gone. Service: Kyoto people are more sloppy than Osaka people. The front desk has no sense of restraint. The people are rough. The bus is raised by a lean Japanese aunt and hit the child's forehead. There are geeks and poor people everywhere. However, the quality of the Chinese Taiwanese encountered as a whole is too poor. Bianjinjin Market, Daimaru Department Store and Takashimaya are very convenient to eat, buy, buy and buy. But overall, the Kyoto people are a sense of dissatisfaction and boredom for tourists. The hotel was slightly less Korean. When chatting with a Korean, she unexpectedly thought that I was a Korean. Then I said that there are very few Koreans in this hotel, and there are many Chinese. In fact, okay. The Japanese have more tourists themselves. Value-added: There is tea and rice after 9:30 in the evening, but the amount is very small. . I heard complaints from other Chinese people on the road. . The same feeling. Suggestion: Everyone actually eats outside. The hungry people at night or the children do not have a good meal during the day. In fact, it is better to let others own their own meals. It is too early to close the big bath. . . Of course, I went there once in three days. . . Not many people, a pool. The temperature is very good to get rid of fatigue.

Love this hotel! One of the best I’ve ever been. They’ve recently open in 2019 and it’s not very crowded here as there are a few hotels beside and The Thousand is just right connected to the Kyoto Century Hotel so if you are taking taxi, you would like to mention Kyoto Century Hotel and they will alight you right in front of The Thousand. It’s not only new, the amenities are so high tech even the toilet bowl cover automatically open up when detected. Undoubtedly, this hotel has a very nice, warm and homely feel. When you step right in, the woody lemongrass fragrance will make you feel so welcome! Most importantly, the hotel staff converse very well in English and are extremely kind and helpful and patient. It definitely deserves a 5-star rating! Everything is so perfect here that I wish I could have stayed longer in Kyoto!

This hotel is about a 20-minute walk from Yasaka Shrine and Kiyomizu Temple. There are direct buses to Kinkakuji and Lanshan. 10 minutes walk to Nijo Castle. Kyoto Station is only about four stops from the hotel. All in all the location of this hotel is good. Room for two people was just right. The air conditioning and bath water were very powerful. The shower gel and shampoo are both POLA. So you do n’t need to bring any toiletries here. The room has a washing machine to dry and a microwave. Free coffee in the hotel lobby. Overall this hotel is very good.

This is the best service hotel I have stayed in several times so far! A very gentle Japanese lady at the front desk, smiling all the way to the service, English is also good, helped us upgrade the room, and also helped us to send luggage to the room. During the chat, the children heard that it was a birthday trip. The next day we went out and saw a surprise! A birthday card, three-colored petals, balloon stars ... and cookies.! The child was so moved that he wrote a compliment letter and handed it to the front desk when checking out ... 5 stars praise, 6 stars recommendation

As for this hotel, I really have to praise it. I ca n’t speak English, I do n’t know Japanese. I went with my baby. The location of the hotel is especially convenient. It ’s close to the bus station. Follow Google. The route he recommends is not necessarily the most convenient. You can choose, it is closer to the hotel bus. I can remember the road once. After getting off the plane, I do n’t remember what tickets I bought at the airport, but I just entered from the ticket office, opposite, b. You can go to the front door of Uniqlo on the back of bus 104. There is a trail opposite Uniqlo. It is especially easy to find when you go in. The hotel service is really great. The first day check-in is a Chinese-speaking beauty. There is also a handsome guy who also speaks Chinese. The room I stayed in Osaka is not as good as this hotel. It is highly recommended, geographical advantage, and the room is clean. In Japan, this room is quite large, 29 inches, 22 inches luggage can I opened the two at the same time, I put the two beds together, and the side was very spacious. I came to Kyoto in the future and chose this one. It was a super happy trip

Last weekend, my wife and I stayed in this Hotel Gracey Kyoto Sanjo for the third time since January 2019, with satisfaction. The service was consistantly of high quality, other than the convenient location and moderate pricing. However, I would like to reflect one minor comment to the hotel management, because the bed sheets were a bit rough this round, compared to the previous visits. Cheers:-) Wellington FUNG

Hotel is conveniently located. Right opposite the train station and next door to Kyoto tower and Big electrical store Yodobashi. Rooms however a bit outdated. Their housekeeping service were great! If we visit Kyoto again, likely we will use this hotel again for its reasonable pricing.
