Once again Antonella, Gabrielle and the team looked after me superbly. This is a beautiful hotel, on the edge of Lake Iseo, that is full of wonderful Italian style and tradition. The rooms are lovely with powerful showers, decorated traditionally but beautifully clean. The food is simple but elegant and freshly prepared. The staff are GENUINELY welcoming and anxious to please. I have stayed over 20 times since 2011 and I would NOT stay anywhere else. The location is unbeatable and such great value for money why would I look elsewhere??? ,

Location and price wise a beautiful spot in Northern Italy, friendly staff and clean rooms. The owner however is a control freak. She does not maintain the same standards for individual customers as for groups who regularly book the hostel during summer (which is probably her main income) and is totally unexperienced with groups of 14 year olds. Furthermore, she convinces herself, her staff and her customers of how lucky they are to stay there instead of letting them decide for themselves. The collaboration with local restaurants and outdoor activity organisers is a total mess, the recommendations are spot on but the owner's organising skills are dreadful: bad communication, no chance for negotiation, no smile and she clearly cannot manage it. The main room on the first floor then is to small for all guests to have breakfast, which is a shame but it could be worse. The problem however is that you only feel welcome in this part of the hostel during breakfast hours; every other moment, this room seems considered as private living space of the owner with the big tv constantly running. The owner is also living in the building on the same floor in a tiny room, just weird. Last but not least, I will never forget the shouting of the owner to her 14 year old customers in which some were told to go back to Africa. Oh yes, the AC does not work properly, it stinks and you better don't touch or complain about it. The customer should come first. Greetings from Team Silly.

We found the hotel on Hotels.com and made booking and payment directly there. When we arrived everything was ready for us and we got a great room with a huge balcony on the first floor overlooking the street and the lake. The room was not big, but it had a great bed, an even better aircon and we had daily cleaning from two nice ladies doing a very good job. The location is right next to the lake and with 10 or so restaurants within 500 m. There is even a good one on the ground floor of the hotel. Parking is free and just in front of the hotel (except saturday mornings when there is a local market) We stayed for 7 nights and would happily come back again

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for three nights on a Travelsphere holiday. There are fifty-seven rooms, and there are five types of rooms: the Royal Spa Suite, Junior Suites, Superior (with a balcony and view of Lake Lovere), Classic (with balcony) and Standard (with a rear view). On arrival, we could have a glass of prosecco or orange, and we were also given a packet of sweets! We were in Room 102, a Superior room with a balcony and lake-view - however, the main road runs in front of the hotel, and this can be noisy. But, the hotel supplies ear plugs in the room if needed! The room is large with a double bed (with four pillows) and a sofa (a pull down bed), a security safe (free of charge), a TV with 200 channels (four of these are in English), tea/coffee making facilities (milk is available from reception but there is a charge or you buy it at a local supermarket), fridge, mini-bar (soft drinks only, although the hotel offers a daily promotion for 5.90 euros), air-conditioning (that is effective and easy to operate), balcony (with a table and two chairs), two hanging cupboards (with hangers), plenty of drawers for clothes, WiFi (very good reception) and telephone. The bathroom had a walk-in shower, toilet, large basin, bidet, hair-dryer and shampoos. The hotel also had a fitness room, a wellness centre with indoor spa pool (with whirlpool, hydro jet and geyser), restaurant with an adequate breakfast selection including fresh fruit and cooked items. There is no bar in the hotel, but there is one next door where hotel residents get 10% off. There are mountain bikes available free of charge (deposit payable) as well as a boat on the lake. Additionally there is also a Conference Centre and facilities for 50 people. All in all, a very good hotel on Lake Lovere.
