Hotels Near L'Ecluse In Paris
0.04km from L'EcluseI have put off writing this review because it is just another reminder that our amazing week in Paris is over! I should preface this review with the fact that we are fairly particular travelers. I hate to use the word picky, but it might apply! We are definitely used to luxury properties and accomodating staff from hotels and restaurants. Unfortunately, those don't always go hand in hand. That being said, I cannot imagine staying anywhere else during this incredible vacation. Several words come to mind when I think of Fauchon L'hotel- chic, welcoming, beautiful, champagne, location, impeccable service. The hotel itself is absolutely lovely. It is modern yet cozy. The rooms are very well appointed and the hotel restaurant is excellent. The location cannot be beat. It is convenient to all of Paris's most popular sights. It rained a fair amount while we were there, so we took taxis most of the time, but the Champs Elysees and the Arc de Triomphe were an easy walk. We probably would have walked to the Eiffel tower if we had had more time. By car, most everything was just minutes away. I had one of the best night's sleep ever on our very first evening. The beds were comfortable, the linens were excellent and the hotel was quiet. The bathroom was luxurious with an enormous soaking tub, a Toto washlet and heated marble floors. It's rare that we find a bathroom that doesn't leave us ready to come home to ours, but this was one was fantastic. I could have stayed forever! The food was some of the best we had during our week in Paris. We did the tasting menu with wine pairings one night for dinner and it was far better than the Michelin star dining we had the next evening. Breakfast was expensive, but delicious and convenient so it was well worth the price. More than anything, the service was exceptional. The entire staff was friendly and helpful. Everyone we encountered seemed genuinely interested in making our stay as wonderful as they possibly could. Charles, the concierge we worked with the most, went out of his way to ensure our stay was perfect. He recommended and provided directions to things you would never find in the guide books or even online. For example, we enjoyed a speakeasy one evening after dinner and he gave us directions to a Flea Market that we sadly missed. The general manager, Jerome Montanteme, literally brought me to tears as we departed. He truly made us feel like the Fauchon is our home away from home, and I would hop on a plane and go back tomorrow if my schedule and budget allowed! I would name each staff member who took such incredible care of us, if I could, but, I would be naming the entire staff, I am afraid! Do not miss this wonderful hotel if you are planning a trip to Paris. It is a true gem, and I cannot wait to go back.

0.08km from L'Eclusea couple of months ago i bought myself the nintendo switch. for christmas, i got my boyfriend a pair of airpod pros before they sold out. my parents also gave me airpod pros for christmas and games for my nintendo switch. we all left for europe together on december 26. used our airpods and my switch on the plane to belgium, the first stop of our trip. used our airpods and switch again on the train from belgium to paris on december 30, our second stop. got to the madeleine plaza hotel and used our airpods and switch that night while we got ready and waited to leave for moulin rogue. i put away my airpods and my switch in my backpack, in two different parts of my bag. my switch was inside backpack and my airpods on one of the outside pockets. both on the same places i had been putting them since we started our vacation on december 26. my boyfriend put away his airpod pros on one of the outside pockets of HIS backpack. the items were in separate backpacks. we had a busy schedule in paris so we never had the chance to use out airpods and switch again. we also never took our backpacks out of the room. we only used them for traveling. on the morning of january 2, the day we were leaving on a train to london, my boyfriend tells me he was going to charge his airpods a little before leaving for the train. i was in the bathroom in our room and my boyfriend knocks on my door and tells me he believes someone stole his airpod pros. i told him to relax, that he probably misplaced them and that i was going to help him find them. but he was 100% sure put them on one of the outside pockets of his backpack the day we arrived to paris, and he hadn’t even taken the backpack out of the closet. out of curiosity i decided to check the outside pocket of my backpack where i had my airpods AND MINE WERE ALSO MISSING! started checking my whole backpack only to find out MY NINTENDO SWITCH WAS ALSO MISSING! so we confirmed the items were 100% stolen from both of our backpacks FROM INSIDE OUR HOTEL ROOM. the only people who have access to our room are the hotel staff. we asked for the manager and told him what had happened and his response? his hotel staff would never steal anything, said everything is probably in our bags AND that we should have put our things in the safe (which, true, definitely learned our lesson and know we can’t trust hotel staff no matter how nice the hotel is) manager kept insisting everything is probably in our bags and luggage but we were telling him we were 100% sure someone from the hotel staff stole everything. he kept insisting they would never and shrugging his shoulders (btw we just finished our vacation today, and no, the airpods and switch were not misplaced in our luggage. we can reconfirm they were 100% stolen by staff). we had to leave because we would miss our train to london. so i reached out through social media. got ignored. commented on their instagram pictures about what had happened, my comments got deleted. commented again, GOT BLO
0.12km from L'EcluseI had booked the hotel long before going, it felt like a good choice because of the location and the price. I got what I was looking for. The hotel is very conveniently located, everything is in walking distance, which was a God sent because of the strike. Common spaces are small. The lobby is very tight and also functions as breakfast room in the morning. The rooms are also small, you can barely walk around the bed. But it's very clean, and quiet. There is complimentary Nespresso every morning in your room, but they never cleaned the cups. Bathroom was spotless, but the shower needed some maintenance. Because it was very tight, every time you took a shower the water would go right into the room. Also, if you closed the door of the bathroom, it would get so foggy it would be uncomfortable. The front desk was very kind, everyone working there was eager to help us in any way possible. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for the location, if the price is right. Unless you get breakfast included, I believe it is quite expensive. There is a bakery a block down the road that has a wonderful selection of croissants and goodies.
0.12km from L'EcluseThe hotel is a cosy boutique hotel. the reception team are always welcome a so nice. I have ordered a superior double room and got a room in the first floor. I asked to move to higher floor and it took them 30 minutes to call me to my room and to inform me that I can move to the third floor. Location is great, 1 minute walking distance from Madeline, 10 minutes from the Opera and Gallery Lafayette and the same time to vendome and the Concorde. Metro station in in 3 minutes walking distance (lines 8 and 12 ). The room was not spacious but very well designed and great for one person and therefore the feeling was of a larger room. The bed is extremely comfortable and I slept great. Breakfast was nice and really OK for the price. Each day you get 4 complimentary cold drinks free. I do recommend this hotel for singer travelers and for businessman. For a couple the room might be a little too small ( I know that there is one bigger room in this hotel). I'll be back to this hotel for sure.
0.14km from L'EcluseI found this B&B on social media and it was perfect for me! Yes, the room I stayed in was small, amenities average at best, but you can’t beat the positives here. I wasn’t in Paris to stay in all day and night. I was running around from museum to museum. To café to café. And this place was perfect to come home to after being out all day. The room a tad dated, bed rather small, but still cozy. The bathroom very modern. It was convenient and I felt safe. Side note: for the life of me I could not get the TV channels to English, not even subtitles. But oh well at least I brushed up on my very limited French lol.
0.17km from L'EcluseWe had amazing experience from booking and making lots enquires pre arriving, we were greeted with warm welcome, the staff were so personal and went above and beyond meeting every request, it is so quiet and peaceful, best night sleep in a hotel in years, a haven of tranquility and the outside terrace in a busy city is beyond imagine , we only stayed 2 nights but every staff member remembered us and asked about our stay, they were running on restricted team due to COVID and annual Paris holidays but this made them still patient and exact , we would definitely return
0.21km from L'EcluseAlthough not big but very clean and very comfortable. The staff is very welcoming. Very close to the Opera House. It will arrive in ten minutes. The bad thing is that when you book a night in the morning, the price rises. But in the afternoon it was much less than the previous day. Very depressed when unsubscribing for various reasons. I went to live for three nights and they didn't seem to change sheets. I found it the next night. A little better here is for a family of three. be quiet.
0.22km from L'EcluseAs they say, location, location, location! Triangle d'Or is a short-walk-distance from the Louvre, a little bit further but you can reach the fabulous Eiffel Tower, through a lovely pleasant walk along the gorgeous river Seine. If you're into spending hundreds of pounds shopping, Champs Elysees is also walking distance. There are cafes in nearly every corner, and awn they all serve French croissants, and lovely delicious French cuisine. Back to the hotel, it's small, comfy, clean, well decorated, small lift fitting 5 people (which is big for Paris standards!), very silent at night, shower with loads of water-pressure, and a box that doesn't leak water out, TV has normal channels or you can pay-per-view, if instead of walking the wonderful Paris you prefer to stay in. It's a busy hotel though, so unlikely you will get any "late checkout", but they can keep your luggage for you if your trip won't start until much later, and you wish to explore Paris the last hours of your stay! Truly recommend, it's not cheap though, but worth every penny!
0.22km from L'EcluseI stayed here for four nights. Although I ended up here as a part of airbnb scamming, the hotel manager really tried to help me out to resolve the matters. Location was great and close to everything and the room was really clean. Walkable distance to many museums and also the shopping district. Some of the hotel staff were friendly, some could have been better and more helpful. Look for discounted rated online. This could have been a great pleasant stay, if it weren't for the scamming.
0.23km from L'EcluseI’ve been to Paris a lot of times in my life, As it is a beautiful city, I also have stayed in a lot of different hotels, But the last couple of years I always choose this hotel, And keep returning as it never disappoints me. The location couldn’t be better, Also they are extremely friendly ( very rare in Paris) the rooms are also so so clean ( very important these days) I visited the hotel last weekend with my boyfriend, They moved us to a different room then usual ( an upgrade), But I preferred the other room where I always stay in.. That was no problem at all, And they changed us immediately. You get everything you want in a room: Nespresso machine, Bottle of water, Diptique shower gels etc, Also the breakfast on the room is very nice ( the only thing I would wish is freshly squeezed orange juice) but now I’m being picky. Really, I could only say to everyone this hotel is really a gem and you should really visit it!
0.24km from L'EcluseLast month I stayed in this amazing hotel that is located in the heart of the city. I loved everything, the room was clean and huge, the bed was so comfortable and I loved the balcony. Another great thing is location, everything is so close, the hotel is located only a few minutes walk from Galleries Lafayette, Opera... And the thing I loved the most is staff! I stayed in lot hotels and I never experienced friendly and kind staff like here, I would come again in Hotel Concortel at any time 5+++
0.25km from L'EcluseThe location was excellent . Room was gorgeous . However the service was dismal . The television did not work for the entire stay. The front desk usually has one person including the manager during the day. They told us they would get the technician but he never came. They were totally not apologetic . Attitude was technician wasn’t available. No updates . Every time we asked it would be “ well maybe tomorrow, I don’t know ! “ Paying a premium price , they don’t give you even a bottle of water each daily. Only 2 small bottles for 3 people on arrival . We used the teaspoons to take some honey , next day the housekeeping kept the same dirty spoons for the coffee cups as if it was new / washed. They gave a small bottle each of shampoo and conditioner when we had 3 people. If you go to the small lounge area for breakfast there is no one there . You have to open the kitchen door and keep calling before someone comes out. Emails to book restaurants sometimes has a response n other times none. All depends who is managing the reception that day. Feels like the person hired to man the reception changes and some feel like temporary employees who don’t give a rip. When I called to ask how long it takes to get to CDG airport response was a rude “ I don’t know . One , two hours I don’t know !’” We told them we were expecting deliveries from Max Mara n Kiton. When we got back and asked if it arrived , again their standard response is “ I don’t know” . Feels like the person manning the reception do not handover any follow ups to each other. Overall a lousy attitude for a place that is part of a Relais Chateaux group . Never experienced this before in all our stays with the group . Usually excellent service. Looks good but service feels like a 3 star hotel with a poor attitude. Too bad that a lovely hotel in a great location is not matched with the a service level that would make it a truly deserving of the Relais & Chateaux brand . Attached are pictures of the TV with a computer screen overlaying the TV the entire 5 day stay
Hotels Near L'Ecluse In Paris Review
The hotel location is very good, very close to the Arc de Triomphe, a five minute walk to the subway station can also take a direct bus to and from Charles de Gaulle and Orly Airport. Facilities breakfast also fully reached the four-star standard, the gym is relatively small. The front desk is more enthusiastic. There is a little brother who can speak Chinese, which makes communication more convenient.
Stayed at the B&B hotel for three nights while visiting Disney. Anyone looking for a cheap place to stay this is perfect. Hotel is spotlessly clean, really friendly staff, good sized rooms with comfortable beds and shower room. The hotel serves a simple dinner of pasta or pizza which is great, easy to order and quick to come. Breakfast is simple but just want you need at the start of the day. Tables were cleared quickly and everything very clean and presented well. We were worried about the shuttle overcrowding but there are a few services which only run from the B&B hotel and others which go to the other four hotels on the complex which makes it easy. We always got on a bus even if it was busy and never had to wait long! Lockers are available to store luggage if your arrive before your room is ready or check out early. We will be back on our next disney trip!
For the first time in a hotel model, the century-old building is said to be a historical cultural relics protection unit in Paris, so it is completely banned. My old cigarette can only smoke in a small yard. Miss Luo is very enthusiastic, let us have the feeling of going home. There is a black guy in night shift who speaks Chinese very well. He said that he read a book in Guangzhou. In the morning, the girl named Marty also speaks Chinese. There is no problem at all, and at the same time give us a lot of advice on the tour, much stronger than those that are not reliable. It is very convenient to exit the subway 50 meters away. This area is a safe place for French people to live in. The room is big enough to be the floor-to-ceiling glass window in Europe. Our bedroom is very close to the yard, so the living room is a bit noisy. It is highly recommended to add a Chinese breakfast. It is really not suitable for those cheese breads, and it is better to have Chinese TV. If you have the opportunity to come back to Paris, you will still come to the Paris Residence.
Good location, nearby Carrefour, franprix and other supermarkets! I live on the 2nd floor facing the street, and it is very quiet at night, but the sound insulation between the room and the room is really average. The room is not large and has a balcony (not every room, so it is best to leave a message to tell the room with a balcony when booking) ), There is also a door in the bathroom sharing a balcony with the room, so the balcony is quite large. The hotel only provides shampoo, shower gel and hair dryer. Slippers, toothbrushes and toothpaste are not provided, so it is recommended to bring your own toiletries. Lines 7 and 10 are only 5 minutes' walk from the surrounding area. Line 4 is about 15 minutes away. The 5th district is a Latin area, surrounded by universities, so it is safe! The hotel has access control locks, staff need to help open the door to enter! Breakfast is an ordinary western-style breakfast, bread, milk, eggs, oatmeal, sausage and cheese. A tax of 1.88 euros per person per night, which must be paid to the front desk when checking out. This Ctrip will also call you when you are in China to inform you that this tax must be paid to the hotel separately! The hotel provides free wlan, but the Internet speed is average, the room has air conditioning and heating. In short, the price is high!
We got a beautiful Junior Suite with Balcony, even in the city and on a street with traffic located, it was very quiet and you couldnt hear anything from outside while the doors are closed. It is very spacious and with a very pretty bathroom with luxury amenities from Hermés! And of course full equipped mini bar with Nespresso coffee machine. The breakfast is delicious and a mix from a la carte and buffet, what I love. So you can have everything what your heart desire. The best is the amazing Akasha Spa!! It is so big and has everything, big indoor pool, big sauna, big steam bath, big jacuzzi and a cold bath. Even if they are many relax beds to lay on, sometimes you are just alone and its like you have a private spa. Friendly and helpful staff all around the hotel! I definitely will return!
Convinrent airport hotel perfect for what I needed. Short walk away from transit train dirent to the terminal. Very helpful staff. Front staff speaks good English and when I had small problem in the room the reception staff fixed it swiftly and changed my room. The maintenance man who helped fixing was also super helpful and friendly. Thanks very much !
