I booked a stay for 2 weeks at this hotel for the winter holidays. We have never felt more welcome and cared by the staff. They are the most lovely and caring people. Big thanks to everyone and special thanks to Claudia and Jorge who really made us feel like home! The hotel is a quiet building though located in the heart of Sitges, conveniently close to the town´s main train, bus and taxi station, 2 great supermarkets and the beach promenade. We loved the room design, comfort, the beds, the superb bath chamber decorated in Spanish and Catalan style, absolutely stunning. I hope to be back soon and stay in one of their great suites again. We thank you!

We booked via Expedia fairly last minute after our original Hotel canceled on us and as this was a celebratory vacation the Renaixenca fitted the occasion much better. We asked for rooms on a lower floor to help my parents and we got just that. Ground floor rooms, which was amazing. Checking in was at the sister hotel just around the corner. The staff were efficient but most of all simply friendly and jovial. An excellent start to our holiday. The rooms we were allocated were great, lots of original features, wall and floor tiles and so forth which really made the hotel special. You can almost picture it in use as an original home. The small garden was a suntrap in the afternoon which was ideal. Breakfast was again in the sister hotel. The rooms and public areas were cleaned daily to a good standard, you could see that the crew really had a passion for their work. Close to the Railway station and the town it's amazingly located for exploring Sitges or hopping onto the train into Barcelona, which is what some of our group did.

A very good hotel with a big bold BUT.... The hotel is nicely located in Sitges center and still quiet inside. The pool is nice. The service team at front desk, at the pool bar and room service are very friendly and professional. The breakfast is good too but frustrating and stressful. Due to Covid19 safety measures that the hotel is taking very seriously which reassuring from one side but at same time you can easily notice that the hotel management lack deep understanding of customer comfort and basic fundamentals of customer service. They decided to serve breakfast by turns of 30mn which is ok but then they force the friendly staff to manage it like a school or a military canteen. Considering the queue and the time other customers are taking to decide what they want this leaves one with 20mn to have breakfast. In addition to that they didn’t think even to put a takeaway cups for coffee for example and they don’t allow you to take coffee out so that you can respect the 30mn timeslot free the table and still relax and enjoy your coffee in open air. Without mentioning the agressive behavior of one of the managers. They do not understand the basic concept that people pay for hotel to have a good relaxing quality time and not to be frustrated by a bad management decisions. I think There are enough bad decision makers in this world that no one need more even during vacation:) Likely other than the unprofessional manager, the service staff are highly qualified and put from themselves to cover the bad behavior of their managers. We wouldn’t be surprised if this nice hotel start unfortunately to have less and less returning customers

We booked Hotel Liberty Sitges very last minute (after being stranded in Spain due to French rail strikes). We didn’t really know what we were booking but felt ourselves so lucky to have picked this one. Great things about the hotel - They are very friendly, welcoming, funny & lovely They went out shopping specially to get us soya milk The hotel is really quirkily decorated, with teddy bears everywhere The train station is over the road The supermarket is over the road We had a fridge in our room They have a lovely courtyard garden The room was big The beds were comfortable Breakfast was good - and they had Earl Grey tea! We were a few minutes walk from the main shopping area We were about 10 mins walk from the beach The air con worked really well & had a remote control There are a lot of stairs & no lift. We thanked goodness we were on the 2nd floor & not the third. It was good for us though going up & down the stairs! We highly recommend Hotel Liberty Sitges and, if we go back to Sitges, will definitely be staying there.

Found this gem of a hotel just by googling. Small family run - we went for a superior room which had more than enough space - huge bed - double balconies which got the sun all day. Electric shutters kept the sun out the room if necessary and aircon was excellent. Mini fridge and safe included in the room cost. Extremely clean and a great bathroom/shower. The owner Jean Pierre was so helpful - providing local information, recommending restaurants, museums, areas to visit etc and was always contactable if any issues arose. Location was very central to main walking street in Sitges and only a couple of minutes stroll from the beach. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel. Thank you.

The hotel is not in the city, in a rainbow town, the environment is not much, Chinese food can be found in about five minutes away, and the taste is very good. There is also a seafood buffet. The beach in front of the hotel is really beautiful. This season is not the peak travel season, but it was considered a super cost-effective hotel during the Basel Global Exhibition. The hotel can take the car to the airport for 57 euros. I think it might be a bit cheaper to call a taxi company phone, but time is the most important. Attached photos of hotel entrance

Average drinks but rooftop view compensates for it. SPA gets too crowded, not ideal especially during Covid. Bit of a let down as the emphasis is placed on prior reservation but expect people at close proximity at all areas of the SPA. Staff fails to say what is included, so expect extra hidden costs. These are reasonable but not communicated which is a bit cheeky.

We have just returned from a stay at the hotel and had a lovely time. The hotel is a small place with what feels like a family non corporate atmosphere. There is a main pool (not heated) and lots of sun loungers. We were there in October so the weather was hit and miss. The staff at the hotel were really lovely. Big thanks especially to the reception team and especially to Sebastian. Lovely people. Location wise the hotel is set just far enough back to be quiet but within a minute walk to the front. The hotel supplies beach towels for use by the pool or beach. The room was big and had three beds in it. One queen size another double sofa bed and then a single bed. I will be coming back again, not least because of the way the staff made us feel so welcome.

I don't write bad reviews lightly, but i feel on this occasion it was warranted. The only reason I gave a two star instead of one was because the staff (outside of management) were really helpful and friendly. First impressions of the hotel were great - close enough to walk into the centre of Sitges but far enough away to be peaceful. The reception area is modern and bright, as are the bedrooms (albeit on the small side). The receptionist was a really friendly young guy who gave us all the information we needed. On the morning of our first day, there was no hot water. This also happened to coincide with a public holiday and the receptionist informed us that they were struggling to get a plumber out to fix the problem. Fair enough. However, no communication was received from management and no alternative was offered. The morning of day two - still no hot water. By the afternoon, the issue was ongoing. Again, there was no communication from management re; a solution and when my partner approached her to discuss we were told rather abruptly that we were welcome to check out. Nice attitude!! Only when we asked the receptionist for the third time were we told that we could actually use a room in a neighbouring hotel to shower. No one had communicated this to us before. By this stage, we'd had enough, found another hotel online and decided to check out. This was at around 2pm, and when we asked to speak to the manager to process our refund we were told she wasn't around and the receptionist didn't have her contact number! The hotel could be lovely, but i have never experienced such bad management. We've also had no follow up from the hotel - so they're obviously not too concerned about the opinions of their guests! Based on my experience, i wouldn't recommend.

Booked a family room with two single beds next to each other and a single bed against the wall alone. The balcony can see the pool downstairs. There are no slippers and dental appliances. Breakfast at the hotel is 14 Euros per person and 7 Euros for children. Did not eat at the hotel, walked past the church, and ate croissants at the bakery on the other side. Three people were less than 10 Euros. The sea view from the hotel is beautiful, with different colors in the morning and evening. When you reach the train station, you will go straight up and you will see the Mercado supermarket. The yellow building next to it is the train station, about 10 minutes. The hotel has grilled meat, sushi, paella, and pizza. Very convenient

The hotel is in a great seafront location and the rooms though acceptable in size are in need of a refresh. The air conditioning in my room wasn’t adjustable and it was a cold early autumn evening with a storm, it was very cold in the room which was not made up with duvets or blankets on the bed. Eventually I found a small fleece blanket in the cupboard but this was in no way sufficient to keep warm in the frosty aircon. A bad nights sleep was had overall and without individual climate control and sufficient provision on the bed to keep warm I couldn’t possibly recommend this hotel. The service however was pleasant and efficient and I did not try the restaurant.

We had a lovely stay here during Sitges Bear week sharing with four adults and i have ti say we were all very impressed in this apartment. Everything looked brand new, beautiful pool area, lobby and the apartment itself was well furnished with comfortable beds and great kitchen amenities. The staff were very accommodating and polite at all times. Negatives: With four adults sharing one bathroom we really needed another long mirror in the living area or bedroom. Having to leave the key back to reception each time was a chore, updating the key cards would be better. No Air con in the second bedroom or ventilation made for an uncomfortable sleep sometimes. Small easily fixed things. We would stay here again.

This renovated hotel is easily the best one in Sitges but it's actually not in the town centre and is miles from anything so if you want to go into town you need to take a taxi - don't bother to drive as you won't find a parking space. I would have given it 5 stars if I hadn't had to wait and wait and wait in the lobby bar to get served and in the end I had to go to the bar to pick up my very expensive drink myself and then I had to go back a second time and the only reason the waiter brought my second drink to my table without bothering to give it a wipe (see Covid hygiene rules!) was because I left him a big tip the first time. People were walking up and down the large lobby bar area without masks and they were so understaffed that there was no-one around to tell them to put their masks on. Hopefully things wiil get better once the Covid crisis is under control.

Went on Monday, poor people. But very comfortable, the hotel is right by the sea and there is a naked beach not far away! It's not cheap to eat around, but the seafood is good. PS: It is recommended that you do not go on Tuesdays and Tuesdays. Many stores are not open, such as the famous cheap seafood restaurant.

Firstly, sorry for the very long review, this place is ‘odd’! I usually don’t leave bad reviews, as after a few days I’m over it and just decide not to go back.. If you can get a good deal on this place then go for it, but here’s my review ;) We spent so long considering which hotel to opt for for our trip to Sitges. We plumped for the Hotel Port Sitges as we don’t mind a bit of a wander to the main drag. The option of a pool and a kitchen in our apartment meant we could shop and cook as we pleased. On our first night there was a huge storm and the marina was alight with lightning cracking off the boats outside, the rain battered our balcony and within 10 minutes the rain started pouring in the apartment, which we had to catch in a bucket. There was a hole in the kitchen roof which we’d noticed earlier as the cupboards below were warped when you tried to open them and water marks were down the wall. We had decided earlier not to use the plug socket under it! We told the friendly receptionist the next morning what had happened and she said maintenance would be up to check it out ASAP. No one ever came during our 3 night stay, despite reminding them the electrics would need safety checked. On the up side, the walk to Sitges centre is fairly pleasant, but steep, and there’s 50 steps to navigate first! fine for us, but was a workout in the heat! Not so good though if you want to nip somewhere for some water and essentials from a shop. The nearest shop is on the marina, about 5 minutes walk from the hotel, but apart from water, croissants, wine and crisps it’s way too small to stock up for a few days. It’s really tiny! And very expensive. So for food and basics we needed to walk to Sitges centre, which is a good 15 minutes walk, and we walk fast! Even in the centre there isn’t many grocery shops it was a bit of a let down that we chose this hotel on the basis of self catering. Upon further inspection though we couldn’t have cooked anyway. The kitchen comprises of a 2 ring hob, a fridge, 1 frying pan and a giant soup pot, 2 teaspoons, 3 forks and 1 knife?! No microwave, kettle, bottle/tin opener, bread knife etc. We also thought from reading some reviews there was a bar in the hotel, there is NO bar. Not even in August during the Sitges fiesta, you can however buy a bottle of water or a bottle of cava from reception €2.50 and €12 respectively. This was only disclosed though when I told the receptionist I was a bit disappointed there was no where nearby to get a drink. But we were soon told anyway we weren’t allowed to drink them by the pool, that would probably have created an atmosphere of fun and conversation which seems frowned upon! The whole place brings a new meaning to ‘quiet hotel’ it could well have been Stanley Kubricks inspiration piece. It’s literally void of life. When you do catch a glimpse of other guests they looked as cheesed off with their choice as us. The decor hasn’t been touched since the late 80s, so depressing..

This is a great hotel and is situated close to the beach and a short walk to restaurants and bars. Rooms are snug but very comfortable. It was great to have a private patio area - ideal for people who like to tan. The breakfast was very good and there was a great range of dishes to choose from. The pool area is conveniently located next to the restaurant and there are ample loungers and chairs to relax on. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to spend some time in Sitges.

I have just returned from a 5 day break at these apartments. Upon arrival, we were surprised to see how large the apartment was. We had a ground floor with terrace. It had a large bedroom , separate kitchen, bathroom, bathroom, and large living area. We were about a 10 minute walk to the town and about a 7 minute walk to the beach front. It was clean and towels were provided although you didn’t have a daily cleaner and I believe the cleaning happens just once per week. However this was not a problem. There was WiFi but the signal was poor and it was only really in the communal area where you could pick up a weak signal. Overall for the cost and the size of the apartment plus the location, made it good value for money. I would recommend it for value for money, and I would return here to my next visit to Sitges.

We stayed in Sitges for one night after arriving in Barcelona from South Africa earlier in the day. We were en route to San Sebastian, but didn't want to spend the first night in Barcelona. Sitges is a short 20-30 minute drive from Barcelona with a pretty shore-line and some nice restaurants - perfect to just rest after the long flight. We booked Sunway Apollo Apartments over drinks at a bar. Yes, arriving at the gate to find out check-in is another 5-minute drive by car away is a nuisance, but it wasn't the end of the word. The apartment is very small, but had everything we needed for a short stay. I wouldn't stay here for more than 2 days, but then I also wouldn't stay in Sitges for more than two days.

A place that came out from the 90s, very old furniture, our apartment (Roberto) had 2 rooms with 2 single beds pushed together to make 1 double bed, with a gap in the middle. Bedrooms only have 1 power outlet and is by the door, far away from the bed, we had 2 iPads, 2 iPhones and 1 C-Pap machine to plug in, and we had to take turns on what to charge first. The check in is only available after 4pm but the check out is at 10am, you have to check in and collect the key at the main hotel which is 30 min walking or 10 min by taxi from the apartments, they only offer you 1 roll of toilet paper for the whole week, a very small amount of dish soap and 1 scrub brush. No hand soap, or shower gel at all! We arrived at 9pm and we couldn't have a shower or even wash our hands. They only give you 1 set of bed sheets for the week without possibility to change it, 1 big towel and 1 hand towel that you can change in the morning at the cleaning services bungalow. There is an Ants infestation, everywhere from the wardrobe to the floor, with Ants crawling on us at night in the bed. The complex is situated 10 min walking from Sitges city centre, and had a good size swimming pool (only positive thing). Balcony was spacious enough for 4 people to have breakfast outside. No AC!!!! it gets very warm and the apartment doesn't have AC or a Fan. I will not come back there.

Like many other complaints, the place was pretty awful. The apartment itself was nice, the garden was nice. But the staff working there never said ”hi”. First of all, one has to get the keys from another hotell on the otherside of the town, really, really annoying. And I had to pay the taxi myself. Really really bad service! Then the place had many bugs, desguisting. Toilett paper is not included so you have to buy it yourself (I asked the cleaning lady). And cleaning is not included, we didnt have cleaning once during our stay. There is no AC so its really warm and difficult to sleep. Regarding sleeping, the beds are horrible. Feels like sleeping on the floor. In total, its not worth the money to stay there. Never going back again!
