The Babel Belleville is an ideal spot for travelers wanting to discover the city. The Babel Belleville is an ideal choice for travelers who want to take in the sights and sounds of Paris. The hotel is conveniently located just 3km from GARE DU NORD RAILWAY STATION and 11km from Paris Le Bourget Airport. Just a short walk from Belleville Metro Station, traveling to most city destinations is a breeze. With Abou Bakr Mosque, Rue Dénoyez and Fresque Germaine Tillion et Genevieve de Gaulle-Anthonioz all within a short distance, there is no shortage of things to do in the area. After a long day of sightseeing, guests can retire to the comfort of the hotel. There's never a dull moment at this hotel, our guests indicate that the facilities are excellent.
After reading great reviews online about this hostel for backpackers/ solo travellers, I decided to opt for this instead of Les Piaules (2nd best rated), I got a great deal with free cancellation, 4 nights for £108. This price is outstanding compared to the extremely high costs in the city centre. Only bought a carnet of 10 tickets (€14.90) which lasted me the duration of the 4 days as you can generally walk most places.
Check in for the hotel was a nightmare. As check in is around 3pm, everyone and I mean everyone was queuing to check in. The queue was out the door. This process took over 40 minutes which was ridiculous. I would recommend arriving later if possible. The rooms were nice, I stayed in a 4 bed. Plenty of room and everything was to a high standard. Loved the usb and lights in bed, loads of room and plenty of storage area. There is also lockable drawer under bed which is huge! But you need a padlock, which you can buy at reception (pricey). The restaurant in the hotel was expensive so I avoided, however they do have a lovely roof bar with a great view.
Overall, not bad. Would recommend (especially because of the location (2min to subway).
We were really looking forward to our trip here (booked pre-covid) but then our flights were cancelled 3 months ago due to the pandemic. We contacted the hotel straight away but were told we had booked a non-cancellable and non-transferable room so they were not willing to let us cancel the room. We repeatedly messaged them as various quarantine rules became in force but always with the same result. I then messaged a final time this week due to the Paris curfew (ie e writhing closing at 9pm) to be told “Dear Mr. Smith, You have made a non-modifiable and non-cancellable reservation. The Scarlett hotel is still open. The curfew is from 9pm to 6am and every body must adapt to this exceptional situation. We are sorry to announce you that we can not refund or defer the booking. Best regards, The management” Several other hotels that I and my friends have booked have worked with us to try and compromise (eg take a deposit, defer through booking to 2021 etc) so I am extremely disappointed in the hotel’s attitude. “Non-cancellabe and non-refundable” do not really apply to the conditions we are all living in during 2020 so to have them thrown back in my face by a robotic reservations clerk is frustrating and insulting.
The La Planque Hôtel provides a great place for travelers to relax after a busy day. The La Planque Hôtel offers a pleasant stay in Paris for those traveling for business or leisure. With Paris Gare De L'Est just 1km away and Paris Le Bourget Airport only 15km away, transportation is very convenient. In addition, Goncourt Metro Station is just a short walk away. With Fresque "Let's Go Bowling & Magic Cat Towel", Fresque "Collage de l'Hôpital Saint Louis" and Laurette Theatre Paris all within a short distance, there is no shortage of things to do in the area. At the end of a busy day, travelers can unwind and relax in the hotel or go out and enjoy the city. According to our trusted guests, the facilities at this hotel are first-rate.
I know someone may say far but belive me 30 min by metro you by Louvre! We Enjoyed our 2 night stay with small kids! Staff absolutely great polite and helpful! Very clean! We just wanted to say Thank you for looking after us and tidying our room 801 even we did not needed! We did not heard any single noise or wd did have had no issues! For 2 nights was brilliant! There is supermarket walking towards metro Blanc smth:) Also very nice restaurants by the cannal. 20 min to montmarte to sacre-coare. U get 2 different metro lines in walking distance -10-15 min really no problem! We felt safe and area seems as everywhere! We had unpleasant experience in the centre other than hotel area! So you never know:) Really nice hotel for short stay! Breakfast ok! Lovely croissants and what else u need:) heh
The hostel is conveniently located in the 11th district of Paris. Two subway stations before and after. There are also Chinese supermarkets and Vietnamese restaurants around, which can easily meet the needs of Chinese stomach. The hostel is also relatively affordable, especially for young people who are short-lived in Paris, and can also communicate with young people from all over the world. It would be nice to consider arranging same-sex couples in one room if the hostel can arrange a bed.
My husband and I stayed 7 nights here. The first night was in an standard room (#304). It was nice and clean but very small (yes, I know many hotel rooms are small in Paris). Window to the quite dull backyard. The big downside was that about 60-70cm from the bed's foot end, was the shower and toilet. Only separated with a shower curtain. No door! They had taken away all previous glass doors due to risk of accidents. Me and my husband of course know each other very well, but without any privacy in the toilet - and all "sounds" from there right by the bed, it's far from ideal. At least for us. (We had actually ordered a superior room from the booking site, but there had been an unrepairable mistake. That's why we got the standard room ... Anyway, the supernice staff made it possible to upgrade to a superior room the next day. That made all the difference in the world! Thank you for making this possible! Room 202, was just lovely. A big larger, a solid door to the bathroom (bathtub and toilet) and streetview. There's a waterkettle and mugs in each room but no tea nor coffee. Windows are well sound isolated if you keep them shut, of course. We chose to have our window open during all night. After a night or two we were not at all disturbed by the metro (not beeing underground at the Jaurés station nereby) nor the traffic and typical citynoice. Inner walls ar not as sound isolated though. There is a very small elevator in the building. It starts at the second floor to which there are 20 steps. That's where the reception is too. The staff was very kind and carried our suitcases up the stairs from/to the street. Avenue Sécretan is a lively street with "everything" you need very close and a fresh baguette is just across the hotel entrance. Location is perfect with different metro lines, the nice canal, shops, cafés and restaurants close by. Sunday is market day on the hotel street, starting quite early. This is a hotel we definitely will return to, making sure to book a superior room!
Good location, next to the subway station and Carrefour. Service attitude is better. There is no door in the bathroom shower, and water will be washed after washing, although it will be done after a while. The towel feels like a hotel in Europe, it’s not dry, it’s best to bring a piece of it.
Novotel Paris 19 Belleville is in the center of the popular and charming Parisian village energy. Typical markets, shops and alleys... enjoy neighborhood life. The hotel has a restaurant and a Grab and Go for you t enjoy. Surprise! - it has rooms with balconies offering stunning views of Paris!
The rooms are not properly ventilated so it could be suffocating at times during summer. The rooms are small but clean. The staff are warm and friendly. The location is great, at stone throw distance from the Jaures metro station. There's a good kebab shop close by
The Adagio Paris Buttes Chaumont is situated on a calm and peaceful road, a stone's throw from the Parc des Buttes Chaumont and just a few minutes from the Canal de l'Ourcq. The modern building with a small inner courtyard houses 97 apartments ranging from 2-person studios to 3-room, 6-person apartments. This typically Parisian district offers numerous shops and services. The center of Paris can be easily reached by metro and there is an enclosed private car park for your convenience.
I have just spent my 12th visit to Paris in 8 years and have stayed 11 times at this "home away from home." I love this little place. I am always made to feel welcome by Hervé and Martine, owners and by Mo, who is the night clerk. Flor Rivoli is a few minutes walk from so many Paris icons and is 20 paces from Chatelet Metro station, a key Metro/RER hub from which all of the great city locales can be reached. It is 30 paces from Rue de Rivoli, a major shopping and cultural artery that stretches about 4kms from Place de la Concorde to Place Bastille. It is always bustling and alive with traffic, pedestrians, cafés and, oh, yes, the Louvre I've said before that Flor Rivoli is a little old and, perhaps a little out of date - so am I. It is safe, secure, the rooms are clean and each has a safe, the bathrooms are a little small by North American standards - adapt. It has one of the best locations in the city.
The hotel is in a good location, the rooms are large and clean, new, and the public order is good. The hotel lobby is a glass sliding door. You need to swipe your room card to enter. The room was flat with 2 large boxes without pressure. The toilets are also very large. There are 2 sets of L'Occitane in a house, and a large bottle of mineral water is given away.
Walk to the LV main store for 2 minutes, and make early purchase without pressure. It only takes 2 minutes to the Hermes George Avenue branch, and Bulgari is also nearby. If you want to buy luxury goods, you can put it back in the hotel before you continue. Do n’t worry about safety. 7-8 minutes walking distance to the Arc de Triomphe.
The only bad thing is that the front desk called me at 10 o'clock in the morning on the day of check-out. This is a bad experience ... The hotel can help call a taxi to the airport. The hotel said the price was basically the same.
The cafeteria and gym are located in B1. There is a Royal Treasure in the hotel, not sure if it is the same as Shanghai.
It is very convenient to buy daily necessities and eat nearby, the service is also good, giving a warm feeling. However, the room is super small, simple appearance, the bed is also very small, it is recommended that fat people do not book here. The room I stayed in was very quiet, and the other room where my friend lived was very noisy, because there were many shops nearby that opened late at night, so the room when I checked in decided the quality of the stay.
Stayed at Hotel Panache for 3 nights. Booked last minute and was still able to get a huge room with a double bed and an additional single bed and which also had a relatively big bathroom. The shower had excellent water pressure. Hotel has a small lift which is not always a given in European hotels and is close to Grand Boulevards Metro Station, buses from the Champs D'Elysees and lots of excellent food and bars around the 9th Arr. Staff were very friendly and helpful and helped make the stay pleasurable. Hotel is very fairly priced considering the area.
For us, as a family we decided for the first time to book apartment hotel, rational , multiple rooms as traveling with kids , bigger Space overall , all in one apartment rather then separating in two rooms hotel , price for location Location of This place is unbeatable , 1 min form famous chance Elise, metro station , walking distance from rest of main attraction in Paris , restaurants from all kind all around. Further more the beds were very comfy , clean , WiFi excellent , staff were great ! ... the only thing I will mention is that there is one bathroom in this apartment , so for a family it might be challenging sometime , beside all was great , if going to Paris defiantly will return
Our room was absolutely tiny and looked nothing like the pictures. The shower had mould around the screen and the bathroom could barely fit one person standing. Breakfast was minimal, freshly cooked croissants was a huge plus but other than that, very little variety and not very fresh, the pineapple looked on the turn and the cheese and meat looked straight from a supermarket packet. Fortunately we weren't there for the hotel but still, it wasnt cheap for two nights and I had expected more.
I stayed at this hotel during my first trip to Paris in the 1990s. I continued to stay there every year until 2005, when I stopped traveling to Europe for a few years. In 2018 I returned to Paris and Hotel Emile under its new ownership. They had really done a lot to spruce up the hotel even before COVID 19. My husband and I love this hotel because of its great location. The metro is just across the street. There is a great cafe downstairs on the corner and a grocery store, pastry shop, boulangerie, fromagerie, librarie, etc. all within less than a 10 min walk. It is on the edge of the Marais, the best place in Paris for night time wanderings, in my opinion. And best of all, the hotel is clean and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. There is a real warmth and family feeling at the hotel. I wouldn't change Hotel Emile for the Hotel Charles V!
Hotel location is very good, very close to the train station, travel is very convenient, the boss is super good, we started living for five days, then came back to Paris from Frankfurt for another three days, washing clothes every day in the summer, the room is clean and tidy, the boss is The second stay also offered a discount on the room rate and breakfast. It was a very good person. I hope to go to Paris next time to stay at this hotel! Recommend everyone to stay! Thank you
Stayed here for a June trip to Roland-Garros, and the location was ideal, between 15th & 7th. Good metro stops, restaurants, market. The price is a little higher than listed but that's true for any place nearby this time frame. And the comfort of the room made up for it. The proprietors are wonderful, great service, nice breakfast. To our surprise, when we left behind an inexpensive hat, they mailed it to us in the Languedoc at no charge. Thank you!
It’s really bad! Platinum Member! The hotel turned out to be a bad air conditioner! The weather of thirty-five degrees is not air-conditioned! Suggestions, the lobby manager is very unfriendly and free breakfast and a few bottles of water? ? ? ? But for a few single Indian guests (just I know) to checkin the same day! And the manager protested and told me that our compensation is breakfast! I will never live in this intercontinental again! Service facilities are not as good as China's one star! ! ! !
Breakfast was very French, yogurt oatmeal coffee white cheese apple puree bacon, I ate with the old French lady next to me. What she eats what I eat haha. It is a small room of 9 square meters, but it also has a separate toilet and bathroom, which is good. Living alone is really suitable. The staff is also very nice and speaks English. But there was no inspection when checking out. So I dropped my earphones ...
This is the second time that I have stayed at this hotel and I am always so won over!
The welcome is on par with a 4-star hotel.
Each interlocutor, is always friendly smiling, helping.
The location is ideal, close to all transportation.
The rooms are spacious, classically decorated, they are perfectly clean and for me that is the essential.
The breakfast is generous, the welcome friendly.
I highly recommend this charming hotel, I know that I will return with pleasure to this establishment to have the feeling of feeling “at home”, in Paris.
A budget 3 star hotel. It is more convenient to take the subway station for about 7 or 8 minutes. The room was small, except for the bed and luggage, there was no place to go. Breakfast is just like nothing, no surprises. The wine station is very close to Chinatown and it is convenient to eat Chinese food. There is a small memorial hall nearby, which is cheap and good, but sometimes there are many people. In short, if the requirements are not high, it is good to live.
The biggest advantage is being able to see the Eiffel Tower at a reasonable price. Also, the staff at the desk and the cleaning lady were very friendly, and the check-out time is 12 noon, so you can prepare generously :)
The room is not very clean, but it is clean.
The Eiffel Tower is also very close.
Breakfast has a lot of variety, so I don't recommend it.
The location is convenient and it is safe at night. Nearby is Lafayette and Spring Department Store. I like every employee's service attitude is also very good, the hotel has drinks and candy for the passengers, very intimate
It only takes about three to five minutes to walk from Paris Gare de Lyon to the hotel, which is very convenient. Did not have breakfast at the hotel, but there are Starbucks coffee around the hotel, there are many restaurants, and there are also many restaurants in the train station that can solve breakfast. The rooms are small and exquisite, and very quiet. Considering such a convenient location, it can be said to be very cost-effective. From Lyon Station, it is very convenient whether to take the subway to the main attractions shopping streets or to go to the suburbs of Versailles and Fontainebleau. recommend!
Lovely hotel, super staff, comfortable rooms bit small but only what is to be expected. Breakfast plentiful and tasty. Our only gripe was the Creole restaurant outside decided to play very loud music from 12 am. It was that bad we went down to complain to reception who did manage to get this turned down but the people in the restaurant continued to be loud. We did find out that the restaurant did not close until 2 am so as we were there to sleep we did not get the best sleep we would have hoped for hence 1 mark being removed.
Stayed here for 2 nights with my 9 year old son. It is a budget hotel so do no expect massive rooms or luxury ! You go to Paris to see the wonderful city not sit round a hotel room ! Staff on reception were very helpful and could not have been more helpful. The rooms are small compared to other more expensive hotels but there are adequate and clean. TV and Wi-Fi are good. There is also a good bathroom and shower. Breakfast is a continental buffet and there was a good selection of breads, cheeses, cold mets etc. The Metro station is a shirt walk away and there is a laundrette directly opposite. There is a McDonalds and other restaurants close to the Metro station. There is also a great department store just round the corner. Overall a very good stay and excellent were staff.
The hotel is in a quiet neighborhood and very unassuming. It is a 10 minute walk to the subway, though there is are a number of buses on the corner. The staff could not be more friendly, patient and accommodating. The interior design is ultra-modern, high quality and chic. The entire hotel is immaculate. We had a Queen size bed in a Standard room, as requested. The bed was The Best, as were the linens. Amenities in the room and throughout the hotel were great. The breakfast is fabulous! Waffles, eggs, sausage, ham, soppressata, fresh squeezed orange juice, delicious coffee and cappuccino, dried fruits and nuts, granola, assorted jellies and preserves, yogurt, fresh baked chocolate and plain croissants, danish, and mini apple turnovers-yum! A beautiful park is just two blocks away. If this hotel were in the heart of the city it would cost four times the price. The hotel is A LITTLE GEM.
The hotel was clean and comfortable and in a great location , walking distance from Sacre Coeur , Montmartre , Moulin Rouge. All positive. The things i didn’t like was when we were in our room there was a faint tap on door and before we even had chance to realise it was the door a man walked in to unlock the child’s bed. I feel he should of knocked harder and gave us a chance to answer before just walking in. The bar was closed for our whole stay which we weren’t notified of until we got there. Also it was hard to sleep because at 6.30 every morning there was workman making loads of noise right outside our window which I thought was too early and again we weren’t pre-warned about.
The Ibis conditions are quite good, but the surrounding environment is too bad. When we heated the food at the front desk, because of the large amount of luggage, we managed poorly. We didn’t know when someone had taken a bag and was stolen some cash. One person ran back sweating and said that he saw someone taking our bag and he was chasing it back. Then we checked that the cash was gone. But the two of us were too stupid, and thanked each other. Later, the people around me should be the thief... Then we contacted the hotel right away, the hotel expressed anger, but we finally had no right to monitor even the monitoring, who did not know who to take How to get it, can't recover it. Although there are a lot of French policemen around the market looking at the market, everyone said it was useless. . In Paris, I really want to remind all of you who have just come, pay more attention.
Great new hotel just few minutes walk from Gare de Lyon. Very close to the city centre and easy transport connections. Very nice breakfast. The bed was comfy, sound isolation from the street is very good, you don’t hear anything despite being on the Main Street, however you can hear everything what is happening in the next room. Will come back here when next time in Paris.
First of all, the price is very favorable. I lived with a mix of men and women. I lived with girls. I felt very good and very safe. Will stay here next time in Paris, suitable for people who save money to travel alone.
We have had a great time. I'm sorry that time they didn't offer us an upgrade but we felt very comfortable.
There are some points missing for this hotel to be the most perfect, but the breakfast still not fully realized due to the pandemic was very good (they confirmed by phone that my son was not paying for being under 12 years old but weno ... I suppose that If you don't claim like this, they don't ask you ...) telephone line hardly audible, very complicated when you don't have the room service menu (because of the covid, I understand but you have to propose a digital alternative with the telephone or another, impossible to read on television The menu The most positive point that every hotel should have is its staff, I hope to see the ones that were working the last time we came.
One last thing please send me my invoice that I never received by e-mail, thank you.
The hotel is a boutique. The space is small, but relatively delicate. The hotel is ideally located, 10 minutes walk to Galeries Lafayette department store and 5 minutes walk to the Moulin Rouge. It is a quiet place. The room is slightly smaller and it is clean and clean. Breakfast is located on the basement level and the food is relatively simple but tastes good. The hotel is small and old but has an elevator. A common area on the ground floor is available for rest and waiting for hotel procedures and free refreshments. Overall, the hotel “small but small”.
Stayed there for a week on business. Rooms are quite compact with the basic amenities - convenient for short stays. Even more convenient is the location: close to Metro (5 min. walk to Line 6 - Cour Saint Emilion), bus stpps and the centre of interest - Bercy Village, an area with a good variety of nice restaurants, cinema,... As for hotel, really appreciated and plus points for the fast and efficient checkin / checkout process (very friendly front desk staff) and a very good buffet breakfast.
