Hotels Near La Chana In Barcelona
0.04km from La ChanaI had a wicked experience here, it was a great hostel in a nice location for a great price. One of the main highlights of this hostel was the basement. Great place to meet people and play games/listen to music. There is a small kitchen but some great tapas bars around the corner!
0.24km from La ChanaWe booked well in advance direct and got a great price. It is located 20 min taxi ride from the airport. You can book taxis in advance. Very clean hotel, lift to all 5 floors. Friendly helpful reception staff who speak English. Reception is manned 24 hrs and it is a very secure hotel. Room size good and spotlessly clean, sheets nice but mattress not that comfortable and room was very hot as aircon was not the best. Good size bathroom and toilet. Nice little bar, a small area where they serve breakfast but reception said you can have it or go elsewhere. Went to a little cafe 2 mins walk away and it was great. Good location for all attractions and the metro is just 2 mins away. We would go back.
0.26km from La ChanaAfter travelling for months on end and staying at countless hostels, I have to say this is one of the very best!! the hostel has a good location (close to a street of exceptional tapas, not far from la ramblas, supermarkets close, metro 5 min walk away, ect...) the security is good (code to enter front door, 24 hour reception and lockers in every room). Wifi strong all over hostel, very very clean!!! Beds brilliant - have curtains for privacy, very stable, couldn’t feel when the person above/below you moved or got up!! All the basic facilities were great. But the very best thing was easily the atmosphere!! If you’re looking for a social hostel THIS IS IT!! The staff are beyond incredible - they’re SO SO welcoming and genuinely friendly. Shoutout specifically to Rio, Baptiste and Mauro!! Whilst they were super helpful and inclusive, they also blended in with the guests and didn’t act with authority. The free dinners every night (tips welcome if you want but not forced) were a great way to meet people and were followed by drinking games (predominantly pizza box and drinking jenga which were SO much fun!) super inclusive, fun, social atmosphere, filled with lots of laughs!!! occasionally got free sangria, jungle juice, chips and chocolate biscuits for free after dinner too!! you left for a different bar and club every night which was free entry with the hostel. you aren’t forced to go out and party but most people did. daily activities were also good. genuinely felt sad leaving this place! made some super good friends that I’ll definitely keep in touch with!! overall a great hostel to party and be social with lots of additional freebies! 100000% worth it!! THANK YOU HOSTEL ONE PARALELO FOR EVERYTHING!! I will be back :))))

0.3km from La ChanaI went to Barcelona for the first time by my own. I booked 3 nights in this hotel in order to pass my bday outside UK (as I usually do). I went for a 3 star hotel as I went alone and I really don’t care about too much, as long I have a nice room to sleep. And we’ll, this hotel didn’t disappoint!!! Actually it quiet impress me. Room was good size, tidy and clean as well as the bathroom. The staff were friendly, the guy in the reception even let me do the check in early when I arrived on my first day (as my flight arrived in the morning and I was supposed to check I only at 3pm), the breakfast was good, the hotel is located in a nice area, also very close to metro, bus stop (was very easy to take something and go somewhere in Barcelona), also good to go even walking as there’s a lot of things surrounding the hotel as is located very central to be honest. My experience was 5*****. Next time I visit Barcelona, I’ll stay here again for sure. I highly recommend.

0.38km from La ChanaThe next Subway station is just around the corner. Bars, restaurants are also near by. The single room is really tiny but it covers all the basic needs. The bathroom is clean, equiped with a hair dryer. A very good hotel for a very reasonable price. The walls are very thin though :) Would definitely visit again.
0.42km from La ChanaThis hotel is absolutely fantastic great location to get to the hotel the best route we found was jump on the aerobus from the airport t1 tickets can b brought from the tourist info cost €10.20 I think rtn needs to b used within 15 days get off at the first bus stop Plaça d espanya get the metro green line L3 look for the train that goes to trinitat nova ( lots of steps to climb up and down for the metro) once on the metro it’s two stops down to Paral-lel walk down the road and u will the hotel check in is from 3pm when we arrived they allowed us to check in which was great the receptionist was great very welcoming and very friendly and helpful We paid for a premiere room with city view but they upgraded us to a premiere room with a balcony which has great views of the city the room is very light and modern the bathroom is a good size and a walk in shower as well the beds were comfy they provide slippers and a bathroom as well there is a safe and also plenty of hangers which u can actually take off there is also an iron but no ironing board Mayb u need to ask for one there is shampoo and conditioner and body wash in a dispenser by the shower also a hair dryer in the bathroom in the draw under the sink there is also tea coffee facilities there is air con Aswell the only downside about this hotel is the amount of noise that u can here from outside but u can’t have it all the hotel location was great just a walk down and ur Right at the harbour and at the bottom of la rambles the hotel reception bloke was fantastic very help the hotel offer currency change so long it’s not a big amount and also if u want to do the hop on off bus they charge a euro less so instead of €30 it’s €29 savings a saving I would highly recommend this hotel and I would certainly stay again Check out at 12 they have a left luggage as well

0.43km from La ChanaThe fact that it's located literally across from a metro station makes it one of the best in town, cosidering the burden of having to drag luggage! Also, it's much more quiet than say the goth village and the noisy narrow passes, restaurants and pubs of the custom nightlife

0.47km from La ChanaThe hostel is very clean and neat. It is located very close to metro Poble Sec. The showers are clean and tidy. The hostel staff almost does not speak English, but they do try to help, using Google Translate. The only disappointing thing is that the walls are very thin: one can hear every word of neighbours and the sound of their AC all night long. Also, I had to pay a tourist tax, whereas, while making a reservation at hostelworld.com, I was told that all taxes and fees are included. Since the receptionist does not speak English, I culd not prove anything.
0.47km from La ChanaHad a great 4 day stay at Comtal apartment. The apartment was adequate for 2 people and had all the amenities that we wanted during our stay. The kitchen had the requisite utensils, the bathroom was decent size, the sofa in the sitting area was comfortable. The ACs were working just fine and there was no problem with anything. The team managing the property is great. The concerned person was waiting for us when we arrived at the property and patiently answered the questions we had. Anything we wanted, we had to just Whatsapp or call them and they did their best to accommodate it. Overall, it was a lovely stay and I shall definitely come back and stay here whenever I am coming to Barcelona next.
0.56km from La ChanaStayed here for a weekend due to reasons too long to explain. Not my usual choice basic room, with aircon and en-suite. Very basic with a breakfast! Now no early check in had to sit on seat in entrance and wait the 10 minutes until bang on 2pm to check in. At exactly 2pm we had are key and crammed into lift. Beware breakfast guard do not try to remove food or drinks from breakfast room! It is 2 star but found it clean. Best thing was this weekend was the Raval festival so saw quite amazing firework and drum festival right outside our window. Very vibrant and edgy area of Barcelona good fun. Probably will never stay again but enjoyed watching cricket World Cup with you reception guy. Worth staying here over Raval festival weekend to experience the atmosphere

0.56km from La ChanaJust back from our short city break (8/2/20). This hotel was perfect. Very close to the metro (L2 and L3stop). Close to bus routes and close to las ramblas. We walked each night to the city centre. We stayed in room 109. A good room except the heating system was a bit erratic and we were woken each morning by the locals shouting outside our window ( not the hotels fault) The supermarkets next door are pricey but we discovered a Lidl just behind the skateboard area. A 3 minute walk away ! Pizza DLR is also a great place for a late night snack. This was a further 2 mins from Lidl. A great big thank you to Trevor and David. Friendly and professional staff who went out of their way to help. Overall we chose a fantastic hotel, well positioned for all we needed. Will recommend it and return again.
0.56km from La ChanaWe have just returned from a 4 night stay and would highly recommend this hotel. Our room was clean and spacious and faced onto the square as we had requested. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful and assisted us with recommendations and tickets. The buffet breakfast was included in our booking and there was a big selection with something that should suit everyone. I was a bit worried about the location after reading some other reviews, but we had nothing to be concerned about and found it very central with a choice of restaurants etc within very easy reach. We would definitely return to this hotel again.
Hotels Near La Chana In Barcelona Review
Fortunately, I chose this hotel at the beginning, and I was quite satisfied with it, especially the Chinese staff and comfortable beds. Would recommend to friends.
Location: It is about 30 minutes by taxi from the airport and the price is about 35 Euros. Going to the airport can ask the front desk for help. There are two supermarkets within 100 meters from the entrance and turning left. The medium-sized (much larger than 7-11) has everything in stock, especially the second one is more complete! Closed on Sundays, the slightly larger one is open until 21:30. Because there are so many thieves in the subway, the whole process is mainly walking and taxiing. The subway station does not know how far away. It is about a 10-minute walk from Casa Mila and Casa Batlló, and nearby (15-minute walk) there are Chinese food and a super delicious shop.
Hygiene, facilities: Very clean, two bottles of free mineral water every day, and non-heavy chocolates on the pillow. The bed was comfortable, not hard or soft, and the quilt was particularly comfortable. Hangers, disposable slippers, disposable toiletries, kettle, refrigerator, safe are all available, and there is a mini pool and gym upstairs. Fruits and discount cards were also given on the first day of stay.
Service: the best! On the first day, the front desk was assisted by a young Chinese service man who helped bring luggage to the room and sent us a map to introduce the location of the attractions. I can basically meet him in the next few days, greet him warmly, and asked him many questions, I really appreciate it! The service is also highly recommended for this hotel.
Some suggestions: The shelf in the bathroom will touch the arm, the air conditioner in the room will respond slowly, and both pieces of the bathrobe will be damaged.
Stayed here for three nights in July. We ended up here by accident after our original hotel cancelled, but couldn’t have worked out better. The junior suite is generous by any hotel’s standards and the bathroom is excellent. The hotel is really well located, and we more or less walked everywhere. You can walk to the really nice restaurant district of Born and the beach very easily as well. The staff were really helpful and couldn’t do enough for you, despite the challenging circumstances all hotels find themselves in at the moment. The rooftop bar is the highlight though, with stunning views across the city, great cocktails and and a great soundtrack. Sitting in the pool and then having drinks up there was a highlight of the holiday. We especially enjoyed the rooftop bar’s ‘Instagram corner’ where bored but clearly well trained boyfriends/husbands would take 847 pictures of a partner pouting at various different angles or acrobatic poses. The one woman dance routine on one occasion was a little much though. Maybe we’re just too British. When things return to normal (please!) we will definitely be back. Strongly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a bit of style and luxury in their holiday. Special shout out to the reception staff who were very patient with my Spanish! It made me feel much more competent than I am.
Arrived at 10:30am on a Friday morning, chanced our arm with seeing if we can check in early and the lady at the desk was very helpful and found us a room and we were able to check in very early. We were on floor 3 facing out the front, a lot of road noise at night times, beeping horns etc. Rooms are standard, twin bed and not a double though, find thats quite common in Spain. Minifridge with nothing in it so can store your own stuff. Shower/Bath had a few marks and bits out of it but nothing major that made you disgusted. Had breakfast there once, was told the breakfast stopped at 10:30 so went down at 10 oclock to be told at 10 past it will be closing in 5 minutes, didnt both us too much as plenty of food places near. (Would highly recommend the french toast in the little french place over the road.) All in all a good hotel with nice rooms and not too much of a walk to everything roughly 20-30 mins.
My stay at the HG Suites was mid week through the weekend. I had a room on the seventh floor, so this may be why all the other reviews about noise are lost on me - I didn't hear much noise from the street (only a little from 06h to 06h30 on Sunday morning from the pizza joint across the road on the side street) and certainly nothing from the metro. From what I could tell from the floor map, most rooms are on the side street, not Via Augusta, so I don't see why noise should be an issue. The bed was very firm and blissfully comfortable, though the pillows were too soft for my liking. The rainforest shower was amazing. Housekeeping was thorough and remembered everything. They did, however, annoy me when they kept turning the air con off so I'd come back to a humid and stuffy room. I believe a guests preference for the entire night they paid for should override housekeeping's comfort for the 20 mins they're in there. The room was sold to me with no mention of breakfast being included, yet croissants, juice and coffee every morning for free was a pleasant perk. Snacks are available from a 'vending machine' - drinks just sit on a shelf, they're not refrigerated as there's no door, so warm water and warm coke are the drink options. The only problems for me were the painfully slow elevator and the fact that my door key seemed to reset every evening so I had to keep returning to the reception to have it recoded. These are obviously not huge problems. I'd recommend this place.
It is still a little distance to walk with the luggage to the subway station, but the subway station is Diagonal, and the main attractions can be reached. In fact, it is more than enough to go on your legs. The cathedral, the Mira House, and the Casa Batllo are all very convenient. I eat a lot around, all locals. It ’s a good place to drink and chat at night. The hotel has a very artistic atmosphere, a gallery, a spiral staircase that can be stepped up, a rustic style, the rooms are not large, but every day There is also bed chocolate, and the front desk is very patient. English is just like me. He is also very patient to help. Tickets and tickets for later trips are printed here. There are recommended tourist buses and free maps at the front desk. Although the breakfast is not rich in variety, the taste is also good, the bread is delicious, the last day is too late to have breakfast, and also helped to package the breakfast ~ overall recommended
First of all, the location is good. It is basically walkable from Milan House and Casa Batllo. The internet celebrity restaurant that walks for 5 minutes nearby also went to check in. It is indeed worthy of the name. It is recommended to go at 5 pm, there is basically no line up, and the line must be lined up at other times. Free big apples are available at the front desk the next day. The room is ok. The room is cleaned very late every day. Sometimes when I come back from noon to rest and have n’t cleaned, I just ask someone to change the bath towel and I do n’t need to clean it again. The big bed was very comfortable, because the room was facing the street, and the window would be noisy. No kettle, you need to bring your own. Slippers, dental appliances, shampoo and everything. Overall I feel the price is ok, if you go back next time you can consider staying.
