Great new hotel, very nice big rooms, nice bathroom and also big balcony. Reception are is nice, very is also breakfast. Nice choice of crosant and other pastry to combibe with nice caffe latte. Nice area in front of the hotel, that you can sit and have a drink or a smoke.
Maybe it's because they can charge you with 6€ per person city tax? I'm not very happy with this hotel. Thin walls, expect to hear everything from neighbours, the room was directly beside the restaurant, mildew (my wife had problems with allergic reactions), not clean, older than it looks, unrepaired damages / open electrical wires (dangerous?), breakfast is absolutely minimum, coffe machine spends only quarter cup (need to push it 2-3 times), mostly sweets for breakfast, cheapest food / bread, area around is really not nice -＞ full of trash / plastic / smeels dirty, streets are damaged a lot, nothing interesting except carrefour in this location, the hotel ofers nothing special (no sauna, no swimming, no sport, nothing), the breakfast room has no windows (feels really cold, like a school hotel), to get to rome it takes minimum 40 minutes if you have luck. For us it has taken minimum 1:20 to rome / vatican. Service said the commerce is open 24x7, I went 3km, it was closed, open only until 10:30pm. No sauna, nothing to entertain. Conclusion: I would spend a few hundreds more to get a real 4 stars hotel. This here was 2 stars, but really not more. For me this looks really untrustworthy. This was by far the worst 4 star hotel I've ever been. I really can't understand that high rating. Therefore I think, it's (again) just to get a high city tax. We have payed additonally 36€ for two persons for 3 nights. Anyways, the personal was kind to us. It's not their fault. It seems the management tries to get each cent from the visitors.
In Tuscolana, near the Metro stop, this B&B is located at the top floors of a stable in Via Opita Oppio. The reception is welcomed as hotel with very friendly and available staff. A very comfortable and comfortable chairs are covered with a veranda, which is close to the reception. The room was quite small and the bathroom was free of bidet, but the shower box was perfect with a wonderful shower jet, which was quite difficult to find in the B&B, especially in cheap people like the City Guest House. In addition to the excellent location, this hotel offers a great price-quality ratio. A very good restaurant nearby also allows a good level restaurant as if it was the same hotel.
We stayed here at the beginning of August 2019 for four nights. When we arrived the hotel was not as we expected. The room we had was on the top floor and much smaller than the pictures make out. The ceiling was incredibly low with the beams and it was also very dark. There was no balcony and the windows were very small. Impossible to do your make up. It was that small that my friend had to pay an extra €200 for a separate room because it was simply too small to share. The WiFi didn’t work. We told reception and they reset it and it did work for a while. The next day it had stopped again and even when it did work it was really slow. The hotel was right underneath a flight path and so it was very loud. Planes past every ten mins or so. The pool and outside area was lovely. The sun loungers were good. There was one reception staff member who was helpful and advised us on directions and how to get around the city and to the airport. The location of the hotel is far from the airport (FCO) and cost €70 in a taxi (you could probably find somebody for cheaper). The hotel is right next to the metro which would have been great if they were in the use for the time we were there. We had to use buses to get to the centre of Rome which were not always reliable and doubled the time to get into the centre. The location itself wasn’t the nicest with a busy road and run down area. However the restaurants surrounding the area were really good and cheap. There was also a 24 hours supermarket across the road. The hotel would have been suitable for just a place to stay at night after being out all day. I would advice looking for another place if you want a fancy hotel that offers more facilities. And check the metro is working for the time you are there - otherwise it is just a pain using buses.

I was a guest at the hotel for the last 3 with 120 students and I’m one of the teachers. The second morning, I discovered that my make-up had been stolen, which was very inconvenient and upsetting. I went to the front desk to report this. The lady at the front desk assumed that I was one of the students and replied in a way that seemed very indifferent and careless. She stated the students' rooms were all messy and I probably lost it in my mess. When I told her I was a teacher, she said that my roommate probably took it. This alone is a very inapropriate remark. The fact that my expensive make-up was stolen, did not seem to bother her. That was the end of that conversation, since she stopped replying to my complaint. The conversation was very difficult because her English wasn’t that good. When I addressed the problem again the next day, she told me that it couldn’t have been the cleaning lady because they didn’t clean my room. This was a weird comment because my bed was made and my colleague was at the hotel the whole day and she had seen the cleaning lady in my room. The lady at the front desk said that this wasn’t possible because they didn’t have access to my room because I had the key with me all day and there wasn’t a spare key. She was basically telling me that I was lying. I showed her my key and pointed at the shelves behind her that the spare key was there. She was perplexed. I also assume that a cleaning lady always has a master key. The lady at the front desk couldn’t find any more excuses. I ended the conversation with telling her that I would write a bad review and I would let our travel agent know that I didn’t recommend the hotel to my school. I have been treated with disrespect. You can’t tell your guest that they are liars. I had hoped this incident would be taken seriously and investigated or that I would be compensated. Which didn’t happen.
Situated in Rome, 600 metres from Anagnina Metro Station and 6.2 km from Università Tor Vergata, Borgo Aureo features accommodation with free WiFi, air conditioning and access to a garden with a terrace. The holiday home provides guests with a balcony, a seating area, cable flat-screen TV, a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge and a microwave, and a private bathroom with bidet and free toiletries. A stovetop is also available, as well as a coffee machine and a kettle. Ponte Lungo Metro Station is 8.2 km from Borgo Aureo, while San Giovanni Metro Station is 9.1 km from the property. The nearest airport is Rome Ciampino Airport, 6 km from the accommodation.
I've been accomodated in this hotel for three nights. It is far from the subway (last station being Anagnina), you have to take a bus to reach the subway station. The good thing is that this red subway line takes you directly to some major touristical attractions. The hotel has parking. The staff is kind and helpful, speak English. The room was nice, spacious, no carpet, big window opening strangely, only one towel and additional small napkin type of ”towels”. Toiletries included only soap and shower cap. The breakfast was very poor, the food at lunch was not great. There was no business center, or at least one computer for clients use. The hotel is part of a small shopping center, with restaurant, shops, fast food, etc. The electrical sockets needed adapter even if we are in Europe. There was no kettler, no ironing board. It was not bad, but I would not come back, neither recommend this hotel.
We returned to this magnificent structure and were wonderful how the director Mr. Bartoli has even improved it, starting from a very good base ..... comfortable and super clean rooms, optimal location, very gentle staff, excellent quality/price ratio. surely our reference point on Rome ....
The hotel room is not very big, but the location is very good, next to the Piazza Venezia, there is a bus at the exit, and you can walk to the ancient Roman Forum and other places of sight, and the bus can be reached by far. It is convenient to take a taxi to the Vatican, and the front desk can help to call the car. There are also many restaurants nearby, and it is very convenient to eat and go to the attractions. Breakfast is also available. In short, I am very satisfied.
Great hotel! Our room was big and spacious. Good AC. Excellent excellent customer service. Everyone was so nice and willing to help. I couldn’t speak Italian so they helped me order from the nearby restaurants and picked it up for me and delivered straight to my door! Truly enjoyed our stay here. Everyone here is so nice
Reduce your expectations. This is not a 4 star hotel, and I don't know how it got this rating. We stayed in better 3 star hotels. The only saving grace, was Katie, on reception, who went out of her way to assist us. The entrance, as noted on other reviews, is shared with two other hotels. This shared street entrance, was dirty and shabby, whereas the first floor entrance to the 'hotel' was better maintained. It didn't seem like a hotel, rather one floor with bedrooms, having a small reception/check-in area and a separate breakfast area. The bathroom was very small, fitted with a large 'jacuzzi' shower which looked promising but the basic shower itself had a faulty dial, which meant that when I turned it, whilst in the shower, to an 'off' position, I couldn't get it back on. A maintenance man, eventually came and just 'strong armed' it around again and looked at me as if I had two heads. Neither I or my husband could turn the dial. I noted on other reviews that the showers can give problems. The bedroom area was fine, except, that while it it had mugs and coffee sachets, it had no kettle ! Neither was there a mirror in the bedroom.. the only one being in the bathroom. As for toiletries-- basic and minimal... not what you would expect in a 4 star hotel. So glad, we were only staying there one night.
Me and my wife stayed here in December and had a fantastic stay, the room was very good with nice decor and a comfy bed, Stefano from reception was fantastic and very helpful Location was great, nice little 10 min walk to Trevi Fountain, 2 minutes walk to the bus stop couldn't find many places for breakfast though, nice little convenient store across the road we nipped there daily to get a few beers for the room etc Loved the stay, would we stay here again? Absolutely, 10/10 for us Thanks Stefano Regards Lee and Suzanne
The location of the hotel is very good, it is very convenient to go shopping, there are brand shops everywhere in less than five minutes. At the two ends are Plaza de España and People’s Square, which are both good places to go at night. The room is a bit small but tidy, the breakfast is good, and the service is good. The entrance check-in is on the third floor, and the elevator is antique. Many Chinese people may not like it.
The hotel is newly renovated, very clean, booked triple room, is a large bed, there is a sofa bed, the sofa bed is paved. Mini bar food and refrigerator drinks (Coke, Sprite, Orange Juice, Soda, 2 bottles of mineral water) are free, but they are no longer added after use. The breakfast was great and very rich. There is an open-air bar on the top floor, which is open at night. You can sit down and chat without a drink. The hotel is ideally located for all of Rome’s sights.
It is the most satisfying hotel in my European travel for more than ten days. The decoration is very delicate and the breakfast is very delicate! I like it very much, shopping is very convenient, and all the snacks and drinks in the mini bar will not be charged extra.
We had booked in for 4 nights and stayed only one. Town House 62 advertises itself as having luxury rooms. DO NOT believe the pictures or the descriptions. This accomodation is set in an old office that has been converted and actually reminded me of modern student accommodation. It is 5 rooms off one small corridor with a private room that is a kitchen where breakfast is put together. On checking in we couldn't help notice that the room was very dark and remained so even after opening the shutters. There was also a very stuffy smell. On opening the window we observed that the advertised courtyard view actually looked onto the rear of a cafe and the bins, etc. Luxury is not what I would describe this as. Basic would be a better description. There was a hole in the bathroom door, the leather bench was torn and the finish of the decoration was poor with paint on the tiles, etc. There was also quite a lot of dust on top of the shower, hairdryer, TV, etc. which you do not expect in a room described as luxury. The room was also quite compact with little room either side of the bed. There were 2 coffee pods for the coffee machine and the ”minibar” had a bottle of water, 1 beer, 1 coke, 1 fruit juice. On our first (and last) night we were disturbed by noise from the staff of the cafe below emptying the bins and chatting (even with the window closed). We were then woken by other guests returning to their rooms as the the wooden floors in the corridor were obviously noisy and the rooms are far from soundproofed. We were later woken by a baby crying in one of the other rooms, which was obviously not the childs fault but highlighted how thin the walls between rooms were. Finally we were yet again disturbed by the staff arriving (06:45 approx) and proceeding to clatter dishes around in the adjacent kitchen. On deciding that we did not want to risk ruining our holiday any more we sought alternative accommodation. When we spoke to the member of staff to say we were checking out they did not even ask why and didn't seem to care. When I explained to them that we had hardly slept the response was, ”That's not our problem”. They refused to provide a refund when I asked for 50% of what we had paid and then had the cheek to ask us to pay the city tax, even though they had been paid for 4 nights and we were staying only 1. Positives? The location is good for the Vatican and the shower was powerful, although having had a shower in the evening we were faced with damp towels in the morning as the heated towel rail wasn't heated. We thankfully found a simple, clean, quiet apartment which meant we had a good break but I could not recommend this accommodation in any way.
Spent 4 nites vacationing with family in Rome. This hotel is located in a great area. The Spanish Steps are a short 3 minute walk, a small grocery store located just again a 3 minute walk. Many restaurants and small shops are close by. The hotel and its staff are very attentive, and a full of information so just ask, more than willing to assist. The hotel itself is situated on a quiet street almost unassuming. Rooms are very comfortable and offer everything you would require after exploring the streets of Rome. The gentleman who works the breakfast is professional, we enjoyed the breakfast and the Coffe was delicious with the warm milk served. Would definitely stay here again if we find ourselves visiting Rome.
The hotel is very beautiful and the room is very hygienic. The first floor is arranged for us, and there is a small courtyard at the entrance. The hot water is very comfortable and the bed is comfortable. Breakfast is OK, both are very sweet breads and drinks. The service staff is also very friendly. The only fly in the ointment is that we booked the shuttle bus to the city center the next day. Before I left, I confirmed that the car was at the end of the Colosseum. The driver confirmed it. But halfway through, the driver put us down and said a lot of Italian that I don't understand, as if it was a martial law in the city center. In any case, we should inform us in advance, instead of throwing us down halfway.
Superb hotel. An ex monastery, simple but elegant. The room was fantastic, bed very comfortable. The staff were very friendly. Breakfast is on the roof terrace with stunning views. The colosseum is about a 40 minute was. Highly recommended.
We are so happy in our choice to stay at Martis Palace Hotel. From the moment we arrived, everyone was so hospitable and made us feel so welcome. The room was so clean and spacious. The linens on the bed, towels and robes were very luxurious. The location was centrally located to most everything you would have on your list to see while in Rome. The rooftop terrace was a perfect way to end an evening in Rome! Would highly recommend this hotel.
If you are scrolling around trying to find a luxurious hotel, well you have found the right one. The hotel is brand new. All furnitures etc in the room as well as in the bathroom is brand new and modern. Its located quite near the central station in Rome and the staff is super professional. Hands up for this one!
The location is very good right next to Termini station so it is very convenient to go anywhere. The downside is that it is noisy at night and cannot be recommended for those who want to spend time slowly.
This was my second stay at Nerva Accomodation Cavour, and I was completely satisfied. We arrived about 9pm having chosen the self check-in option: access to the hotel and room were via PIN codes supplied by WhatsApp, which worked fine. Room was perfectly clean and had air conditioning controlled by a remote control. Staff were available at breakfast, which comprised tea/coffee and a selection of pastries and yoghurts. A little noise could be heard from other rooms, but nothing disturbing. Location is a short walk from both Termini station and the Colosseum.
Lao ban n I went to Rome to check in more than 19:00 and asked me to pay 40 euros more. I had already asked me if I would be late to Rome, but when I went to the airport, I replied that I would add money! I originally decided to be the most expensive room in this hotel! When I got there, I couldn't even get the windows! Later, I was looking for Ctrip to communicate and said to upgrade the room, but it would take 20 Euros a day! Ctrip agreed to bear the cost! Although I finally changed the room that was satisfactory, I wasted time in the middle! There are still rooms that are hygienic every day, but the paper towels are used up and not added... The heating can't be used, the air conditioner has no effect...
This was our second visit to this hotel so that speaks for its self . This is not a traditional hotel , it has no public areas or bar or eating facilities , more along the lines of a small serviced apartment . Mood suites are in a narrow side street and behind a large green door which definitely does not look like a hotel . Once inside there is a lovely courtyard and here is the hotel reception . The staff are very efficient and friendly and provide you with all necessary information . The rooms are accessed by stairs , some have internal courtyard views others views to the street. On our first visit we had a courtyard view and a small balcony however on this visit we had a street view and no balcony ....would recommend the courtyard view. The rooms are spacious with huge comfortable beds and all amenities , there is a cooker and utensils should you wish to do a bit of self catering , tea making facilities. There is no area for breakfast out with your room so a cooked breakfast if required isn’t available .... I would recommend room only basis as there are plenty of places around where you can eat . The hotel is in an excellent location , 5 mins Trevi Fountain , 15 mins to Colosseum , Forum and Victor Emmanuel monument . We mastered the buses and went to Vatican and the Trastavere district . all in all an excellent hotel , unobtrusive staff and good value for money ......not traditional if that’s what you like ......but definitely worth a try ...we will be back !,
FENDI's first concept hotel in the world is more like a lifestyle experience hall. A full set of Fendi Casa, Karl Lagerfeld photography works, unique lamps, fur stitching, artwork... Because the hotel has only 7 suites, and they are all located on the same floor, it feels more at home, and the public space is more like a big house The living room, corridor, living room...a bit of living under the same roof, the decoration details are very exquisite, and it beats the Armani hotel🤘
The only problem is that there are no children's slippers, toothbrushes, etc., the bar on the top floor is like a nightclub, and children are not allowed to enter...
The hotel is very good, only 3-4 minutes from the Vatican, there is a 24-hour McDonald's for two minutes on the side, convenient to eat, about 5 minutes from the bus station. However, it is more troublesome to get off the subway station. It takes 12-14 minutes to walk. It is troublesome to carry luggage. If the train is recommended by the Termini train, although it is far, it is more accurate.
A great mini-hotel. In a walk from Termini Station, which is very convenient for traveling and other locations in Italy. Delicious breakfast: not continental (cruassan and coffee as in most European cities), but full (toasts, mushrooms, baking, tea, coffee, juice, eggs). The very welcoming hostess Valentina told and noted on the map of the places to visit in our number of days. To most of the sights walks the availability (even in the heat). When we were inhabited, we were waiting for a small surprise: beach slippers and a bag! I would also like to note that before we arrived we had written in the wots app detailed route to the hotel. Of course, the hotel is advised!
Modern and stylish, with pleasant staff (particularly Lola who was awesome!), and a nice atmosphere. There’s a large fab kitchen and breakout space by reception with coffee machines. Breakfast is €5, I never tried it but it didn’t look all that impressive... also the stairs to go up to the dorms are in a huge open shaft with no roof so if it’s raining you’ll get soaked going up to bed... The dorm was nice and clean and the bathroom trendy and spacious, however it was freezing cold and the continuous smell from the bathroom was awful, like damp mixed with sewage. The beds were very comfortable, although you only get a sheet to cover yourself as well as a thin woollen blanket. The hostel is in Trastevere but not close to the nice streets and vibe up near the river, so you’ll need to walk or take the tram, it’s not too far. Getting to the main sights of Rome isn’t too hard, tram 3 takes you straight to the Colosseum. There are cafes and shops in walking distance of the hostel for amenities. Overall a very nice stay, with some room for improvement. Recommended!
Hotel spettacolare. Ubicato in posizione centralissima.
I had already stayed a week in Rome in large hotels and booked to stay here for two nights when my boyfriend arrived. I braved to book here bcos I didn’t feel comfortable staying alone in a room in an apartment/ boutique hotel. But as this was half the price of the hotels I stayed at and because the pictures looked nice and I knew the neighborhood is good, I decided to take a chance. What a find! The rooms and service is of a 5 star hotel and the place is spotless and super comfortable. They go out of their way to help you and we felt so at home here that we decided to extend our stay two more nights and stayed another 5days more after my boyfriend left! The location is fantastic, safe and tons of shops and restaurants around. There’s tea, coffee and biscuits left in the little kitchen and a beautiful living room to relax in where I sat in the mornings working! Cleaners come every morning and fresh towels and toiletries are kept after cleaning. They also have an apartment next door if you want a place to yourself. The building is also nice and a good elevator is there which helps for luggage. 5 star luxury at half the price. Don’t think it gets better than this. So happy to find my home in Rome! Waiting to bring my family later this year.
We arrived at Rome at 11 o'clock in the evening, because the pick-up driver reminded us that this is a homestay, and the front desk was very enthusiastic to say that we would wait for us. It was amazing after entering the room, with a round jacuzzi, a mini bar drink, a coffee machine, and a tourist map. After breakfast, the hotel is delivered to the room for breakfast. It is so comfortable! More importantly, it is a 3-minute walk from St. Paul's Church, opposite the McDonald's, and there is a net red pasta and pizza shop next door.
